In terms of appearances, Victarion is the type of guy that you would really want on your side. One could say that he looks like he could break you in half, and you wouldn't be very far from the truth. Standing at six foot, four inches, he's a menacing individual. Such a look is only boosted by the deep ridges carved through his features. It's the eyes though, they're like a raging storm, a storm that someone could easily lose themselves in.

Personality:Are they a daredevil or cautious?:
Victarion is every part the daredevil. For example, a regular game amongst their gang is called the finger dance and involves two or more partners throwing a knife to one another. This earned its name due to losing a finger being a regular occurrence in this game. To date, Victarion has yet to lose a finger so he likes to apply these gambles into life. Except for one thing, he will
not, under any circumstances, put his fleet at risk.
Do they act the same alone as when with someone?
One thing about the man, is that you'll never find him filling a void in conversation with empty words. He's not one for small talk and will usually cut directly to the point at hand but he knows when to guard his tongue, typically when he's around his brother, Euron. It's when he's fighting that you'll find him loosening his tongue a little bit. What adds to his fearsome demeanour is the fact that he regularly taunts his enemies and will scare them half to death before he even gets near them.
Drinks:
Whiskey, wine, beer, really anything you can serve up, chances are Victarion will drink it.
How much:
He's a rather heavy drinker(like most in the gang), but it's very hard to see if the drink has any effect over him as his usual personality persists on and he stays silent and calculating; unlike the others around him, that prefer to get a little rowdy.
Greatest Strength:

- Victarion contemplating the Iron FleetVictarion is a natural born commander. He has command over his men that no other mob boss could speak of - even if he isn't technically a mob boss. This deep respect from his men (the Ironborn) probably spreads from the fact that he'll just as easily face a man up close, as he would send hired men off to find him. Not only that but he's given them the ability to pay the
Iron Price. This is the belief that you can take what you want from your defeated enemy without paying for it. This can range from someone's favourite car to their wife or girlfriend. The Ironborn take what they want, when they want.
Greatest Weakness:

- Theon Greyjoy to "Esgred"Victarion's greatest weakness is his tireless attention to duty. Even though he hates his brother, Euron (the current leader of the Ironborn), he still serves him to the best of his ability. Theon however, was a little wrong when he said that Victarion had neither the wits or ambition to plot betrayal. Although he would never directly kill his brother, the idea of removing him has been festering in his mind for an awfully long time. He has a plan, of course, but he needs a dragon for it to work.
Soft spot:
Soft spot? No, soft spots don't exist with Victarion. You're either his enemy or you not his enemy. He does, however, have a deep, profound respect for men who posses the same level of bravery as him, and he'll usually
try to keep those men alive. Apart from that, the only people he treats rather well are the women he's married to (he is quite honourable) and occasionally, his young niece, Asha.
Is their soft spot obvious, why/why not:
It's well known that Victarion will have a bigger amount of respect for someone if they're brave enough to willingly face him, but this still doesn't usually happen. Like most of the Ironborn, he treats any spouses he has with a caring nature. However, like all the men in his gang, he treats his salt wives (mistresses) with little to no respect. Salt wives are a common part of the culture of the Iron Islanders, typically taken from fallen enemies and used as mere pleasure slaves.

Short History:Victarion Greyjoy was never meant to be the leader of the Greyjoy gang, his older brother, Balon, naturally took over after his father died. During his reign of the gang, he rose up and tried to overthrow the Baratheons and take the strip for himself. During this time, Victarion served as the commander to the Iron Fleet, the large fleet of planes that allowed them to smuggle drugs in over the Mexican border. It was his brother Euron, that concocted the plan to destroy the Lannister's drug-smuggling operations in one night. This was successful and the Greyjoys all but rose to become the biggest drug-cartel in Vegas.
That is, until Bobby Baratheon and his close friend, Ned Stark, moved on the gang and all but destroyed them. The younger son of Balon was captured and taken as a hostage, to maintain the loyalty of the gang while Bobby's brother, Stanley Baratheon, led a raid and destroyed the Greyjoy fleet.
It would take a number of years before they could regain their original strength, but still, they kept their noses down and made sure not to rock the boat. It was around this time that Victarion's brother, Euron, cheated with Victarion's third wife and got her pregnant. Victarion was beyond mad, and easily would have killed his brother if it wasn't for Balon, he stepped in and stopped it. He then sent Euron away, making sure that he knew that he would never be welcome in the gang again. Victarion, too hurt to think rationally, shot his wife and killed her - an action that still haunts him to this day.
After that, he took no more wives and relented in simply taking women whenever he felt like it. It wasn't the Ironborn way to pay for things, so he didn't. A little while later, and Balon Greyjoy died after being hit by a car. Mysteriously, and some might say, suspiciously, his brother Euron appeared back a few days later and rallied support for making himself the next leader. Victarion also wanted the place but lost it after Euron told the Ironborn great stories of how they could regain their lost power. They listened to him, of course, and seated him at the top of the gang hierarchy.
Other: The Iron Fleet is basically large planes used for drug smuggling.
