Outside of the Moon Colony

Bludgeon was watching the "peace agreements" going smoothly outside of the building cloaked by Dark Science. Just as talks were reaching an end a disruption brought things to a screeching halt, the screens showed an image of pieces of a ruined colony entering the atmosphere.

"Damn those insects and their backward agendas. Proceed!"

Unicron Cultists rushed in from seemingly nowhere and forced the Federation leaders to take injections of the Unicron Virus one by one.

"The leaders of Blue Cosmos are absent, but it doesn't matter. We will dominate so many factions of the Earth Federation they will soon be nothing more then a lunatic fringe by the time we're done here."

Atlantic Ocean, 50km from Carbombya Bay
Tuatha De Danann, command bridge

Teletha Testarossa, captain of the advanced assault submarine carrier Tuatha De Danann, looked at main monitor with a worried expression.
It showed various satellite images just recently taken from Carbombya City, from the People's Socialist Republic of Carbombya.
Mithril's advanced spy satellites could even focus on a single needle from space thus Tessa saw everything in shocking detail.
The first few images were normal. Unless you count soldiers wearing sneakers as that.
But the following images showed something far worse: Deceptricons.
Not just a few, many of them.
They spread everywhere in Carbombya occupying the city thus taking control of the country completely.
Ever since their defeat in the One Year War, Deceptricons were a rare sight, only causing trouble with a few rouge units.
What Tessa saw on the pictures was a full-scale army, in concentrations never seen before.
What was going on?
Was the nightmares of the One Year war were about to repeat itself?
Ever since its conception Carbombya was only the source of international trouble. It was a small and poor country with its GDP per camel measured below 7000$. Yet it was full of ambitions and lead by a crazy family. Add the Deceptricons thus you get a complete disaster.
At least this time it had nothing to do with Tripticon. Tessa still couldn't forget the chaos from back then.
The situation was grave, regardless.
Tessa had already alerted headquarters but they were late to respond.
What was going on?
How come neither the Autobots nor the Earth Federation noticed something at this scale?
Tessa had no idea but she knew one thing.
No matter how horrible country Carbombya was, they had to save them.
Thousands of innocent civilians were on the line!
As the latest pictures confirmed, Carbombya City already became a warzone.
The Deceptricon army engaged a small group of 3 machines, two of them were Transformers themselves.
Who were they? Would they become ally or enemy?
Tessa just didn't know.

Not waiting for the headquarters she already made plans for the upcoming liberation champaign of Carbombya. She even made contact with Lt. Commander Ramba Raal, who commanded Mithril's retrofitted Gaw-class Assault Transport Aircraft 'The Flying Dutchman'.
The two vessels combined with the reinforcement from the Dubai Base accounted to 50 Arm-Slaves total.
True, Mithril's collaboration with the Autobots ensured there's no major technological gap but the difference in numbers was simply intense.
Without anyone else helping them the chances of them winning was below 10%.
To say she was stressed was putting things really lightly.
Tessa just emptied her third glass of Martini while waiting for the headquarters' response.
"Captain!" Spoke up Ensign Paltiff and everyone waited for her words in dead silence. She was the communications officer in the Tuatha De Danann so this could've only meant one thing.
"The headquarters responded. They say there won't be any Autobot or Federation backup in the foreseeable future. In spite of that they urge us to begin the operation. Starting in 14:30." She reported while also sending out the official files to Tessa.
Just as she feared her men are going to march into their deaths.
With that Tessa grabbed the Martini bottle and chugged down the rest of its contents.
In spite of that she won't give up. She'll do everything in her power to make the operation succeed.

Feuer thought he had escaped but it was far from over, Di Morte’s thrusters were damaged by Steel Beams and Feuer was forced to go through the city.
As he continued he saw a large green figure lying in wait.

Scorponok was leaning on a skyscraper in a casual fashion.

"Leaving so soon?" He said in a mocking tone

Di Morte readied to blast him with his chest cannon but unexpectedly Scorponok ran up and caught Feuer in an agonizing bear hug before he could fire.

Di Morte's shoulder cannons fired repeatedly at Scorponok but did absolutely nothing to loosen his grip

"Don't Struggle, you'll just prolong it boy!"

Scorponok moved one arm to crush the head of Di Morte with his clamps

In a last ditch attack Di Morte fired its cannon at point blank range. However the blasts proximity to the cannon caused it to backfire and overload.

The Blast went so intense could be seen from space but New York seemed to be mostly intact.

Di Morte was a charred wreck and Feuer was likely to have been fried alive in the cockpit

Scorponok was undamaged from the blast, but now had a black coloration and a cape.

"Such power! A pedestrian Mercenary is not worthy of this, it belongs in the hands of someone with true ambitions and guile. Thankfully a Nebulan Senator and a Decepticon Warlord rolled into one has both attributes in spades hahahahaahahahaha!"

Inbound towards the Castello Cartel Hideout
05.03. 9:55PM

With all the distraction out of the way Kainé could finally focus on his real job. His assignment was simple, he needed to crack down on Castello's ass!
The mafioso's empire grew fast and threatened to further mess up the balance of power. And that was just the top of the iceberg. The main source of Castello's success was a sorts of mysterious technology. It was nearly certain that he was assisted by a bigger, more ominous power. That's the sole reason Kainé took up this job. He had a bad feeling.
Originally he planned to sneak into the hideout so they could evade the bulk of the guards, save the captives and catch the enemy by surprise. But thanks to Kaine's recklessness and a certain hostage situation they had to ditch that plan completely.
Following that their only chance was to run straight towards Castello and assault the base upfront.
"..."
"You'r strangely silent now. I ruined the whole plan and all. Your usual self would be tearing on me relentlessly by now. What's up, Ignis?" Inquired Kaiée with half worry.
"It's... Nothing. While your methods were unrefined I can't say I disagree with your actions. Saving the boy was the right thing... I guess.." Ignis stated a bit reluctantly.
"Heh, that sounds awfully human of you. Sure you're just an AI?" said Kainé a bit jokingly. But Ignis of course took this seriously.
"I-I... don't know. Not with my damaged data-frame." Was the intelligence behind his magic instruments suddenly at loss of words? That was certainly rare.
"So the answer lies within our lost memories again, huh? Don't worry, I'm sure to get everything back!" Kainé made such declaration on the spot.
"... Tell this when you actually made some progress!" Ignis retorted cynically.
"Dang! Point taken!"
"Man, it's sure quiet here, don't you think?" They advanced several kilometers within enemy territory yet no one had tried to intercept them. They had a bad premonition.
"It must be a trap. Look out, Kainé!"
"Yeah, I think the same." He agreed. Yet the mecha didn't slow down at all.
Nox's sensor systems are unusable so Ignis compensates with a set of spells using the reactor's output. It’s detection power is great but the method has rather limited range. General search could be performed up to 2 km but a hi-detail scan was only 200 meters. Meaning their worst threat was an enemy striking from afar.
They had to be on the move otherwise they might get sniped before they realize it.
Suddenly Nox changed its posture and ducked down. Kainé heard a hissing noise soon thereafter.
"Damn, Jackpot." Kainé wasn't too happy to be in the right.
"Transmetalite reaction detected. Possibility of Omega-Lambda variant is 91.7%!" Ignis reported.
"It's Them! Without a doubt!" Kaine's voice was filled with anger. He's an easygoing man and hardly the type to hold grudges. Yet his thoughts were gradually getting filtered with rage.
"IGNIS!" Kainé nearly howled.
"I'm trying but the enemy is located too far. Based on trajectory it's located at 10'." Ignis reported at once.
"..."
"I need to track 2...no, 3 or 4 more shots for a more accurate result." She said a bit hesitantly.
No time for that! We keep moving!” Kainé said and the mecha continued its run.
But…” In that moment Nox dodged the second shot. The enemy was good but it lost the element of surprise.
They are the same guys we fought the last time. Both of us know what they can do and there’s no time! Just concentrate on your own thing and I do mine. “ Kainé sternly ordered while already trying to think of a potential way to fight back.
Understood” Ignis noted and focused on determining the enemy's location.
Then Nox avoided the third bullet in a row.
"Target is North-West, at the mountain's edge." Ignis reported. She needed at least two more shots to pinpoint the enemy's location.
"How are the Magnums? Are they fully calibrated yet?" Kainé asked out of the blue.
"Velocitas Magnum Dextrum is fully calibrated. Velocitas Magnum Sinistrum is next..." Ignis stated.
"Perfect!" Kainé exclaimed as he called up the magic pistol to his left.
"Hey, I said that gun isn't calibrate-" Ignis wanted to protest but Kainé interrupted her.
"That's exactly why!" Kainé shouted while loading up a major spell. North-west, 10 o'clock, at the mountain's edge. He didn't need anything else.
[[ORBIS INFERNALIS MAXIMUM!!!]]
Thunderous noise as a blast of a gigantic fireball flew out of the barrel at high speeds, reaching the distant target in less than a second. On impact the fireball exploded covering up a sizable portion of the mountain in a sphere of incinerating destruction.
Meanwhile the recoil of the shot sent Nox to the ground.
"Hahaha! Take, that!"
"IDIOT! Why did you do this?"
"Well, I wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. I just did."
"And you nearly ripped off Nox's arms! I told you, its strength is only fraction of normal. It cannot possibly handle the full output of Velocitas Magnum!" Ignis continued to reprimand him while Nox was standing up.
"Oops!" But Kainé didn't really care. It worked out just fine and that was all which mattered.
"Besides, who knows how many people been caught in the blast? That region is supposedly unpopulated but still..." Tourists, hikers or anyone else could've been there. The blast covered everything in a kilometer radius and vaporized a large chunk off the mountain.
"Well, sucks for them. The nice guy play is over. We're dealing with that crazy group from last week. Who knows what they're plotting this time!?" Kainé said kicked the machine's gears to high drive. Nox continued its relentless sprint towards the Castello Hideout.

Castello Cartel Hideout
05.03. 9:59PM

In spite of the few traps and ambushes along the rest of the way, Nox reached the hidden villa of the Castello Cartel in minutes.
"Well, that was surprisingly easy." Noted Kainé.
"Don't let your guard down, knowing them this must be definitely a trap!"
"Ah, you're right."
"Kainé, look!" Ignis said and pointed to a huge cage hanging in the air.
It was like a primitive lockup holding many dozens of people.
The whole structure was suspended via a crane.
"Wow, pretty cliche set-up, don't you think?" Kainé quickly remarked.
"I checked it and they must be the captives we're looking for." Ignis stated. Aside from taking down Castello the duo was also tasked to rescue all the captives held at Castello. They're people from various cities kidnapped by the Mafioso's men to do forced labor.
"You sure? I think they were supposed to be held in Castello's secret underground complexes. Why bring them here? It's like they're deliberately making our work easier."
"Or they could be setting up a trap." Ignis added.
"Yeah, or they could be setting up a trap. I like traps, you know? It's like Christmas presents. You never know what they hold until you open them. Makes you feel excited, doesn't it?" Kainé said while slowly approached the cage.
"Hey, Kainé! What are you doing!?" Alerted by Kainé's rash action Ignis tried to stop him.
"Savin' the hostages, of course. What else?" But it didn't work, Kainé already something in his mind.
"But..."
"Don't worry, I think we can handle this. I believe in both you and the power of Nox." Kainé reassured him and continued to move on.
"Don't just act without thinking! This is reckless!"
"So it's like Tuesday, huh?" Not even stopping for a second Nox continued to walk towards the hostages. Ignis had to give up.
The cage was large, enough to easily hold 50 people in it. Yet that was still small enough for Nox to carry.
"Anything new, Ignis?" Asked Kainé. This weirdly empty atmosphere started to annoy him, as well.
"...None. I can't pick up any signals. This place looks completely abandoned." Ignis reported. Nox's sensors might be severely impaired compared to it optimum but there's no way they'd miss anything at such a close range.
"Eeh!? They ran away already? Man, talk about a bad day. And I just thought we finally picked up on a lead, too..." Naturally Kainé felt disappointed. Perhaps he shouldn't have bothered with the business of others and went with the original plan instead.
"Oh well, it cannot be helped. I carry the civilians to safety then we return and investigate this place in detail, okay?" Said Kainé as rescuing the hostages became his new priority. Nox pulled the cage overhead and was ready to perform a big leap, when...
"Kainé, wait! Transmetalite reaction detected! Directly overhea-"
BOOOM!
In that instant sinister red light covered all the surroundings, ending in a terrible blast of unearthly power.
Tremors swept through the area as the explosion nearly collapsed the Etna as its side effect.
Black dust and smoke filled everything, obscuring visibility.
Yet in the midst of darkness Nox still stood, intact.
"Emergency barrier system activated, structural damage: None." Ignis reported calmly. Thanks to her foresight Nox just had enough charge to use the automatic barrier defense once, saving them both.
But she couldn't relax yet as her attention was focusing on something else.
"Phew, I saw lotsa red in the fireworks!... Nice job, Ignis! So? What was it? Did some asshole plant a bomb on the cage? Heh, typical as always..."
"It wasn't a bomb!" Ignis corrected him immediately. She was unusually nervous.
"Eeh!? What do you mean? It blew up, didn't it?" Kainé didn't get what was going on.
"No, that was only the excess energy resulting from multiple uncontrolled mass-shifting sequences at once." Ignis told.
"Wait! You can't mean that..." For a moment Kainé went pale.
"Transmetalite reactions confirmed, detected 52 sources, probability of Omega-Lambda variant is 100%."
"!!!" Suddenly all muscles in Kainé's body stiffened and his face contorted in anger. He immediately had a rough idea on the situation.
"Excuse me Kainé, I couldn't spot them any sooner."
"No problem, Ignis. You did it just in time. Are they..."
"Yes, detailed search confirmed all 52 sources as Hellbots. This also correlates with the number of capti-"
"I've got it already!" Kainé interrupted her angrily. Yes, he knew this. No need to explain it. He had failed. He was too late. Dammit!!!
Hellbots, nightmarish machines of living steel imbued with infernal energies. They're created from living human sacrifices and the trademark of a certain madman Kainé wishes to had forever stayed six feet under.
"ZOMBIO!!!!!" Kainé howled the name of his loathed enemy. Dr. Ernst Zombio was a mad scientist of the lowest kind, the kind of man whose views Kainé denied with all his power. He was rotten to the core...literally.
Apparently he was resurrected from the dead by an unknown benefactor and became an immortal zombie. Since that point Zombio was supposed to work for a strange cult but as far as Kainé could tell the madman only (un)lived for himself.
"Wilkommen, Herr Fableschmitt!" Yeah, he also had a cliche mustache-twirling German villain accent. Wait! where did that voice come from?
"Entschuldigen Sie mich. Considering our previous sechsundzwanzigste treffe I took all the required precautions today." Resounded the voice from the speakers of the nearby Hellbots. Learning from the previous encounter Zombio was only observing the battle from afar through the Hellbots' senses.
"Heh, suit yourself. After I'm done here I gonna track your ass down and kill you again!" Kainé boldly declared, this time completely serious to go through with it. Since the damn monster is incapable of dying Kainé already thought of means to torture Zombio and to make his life worse than any death. He very much deserved it!
"Ku-kuh-huh-huh-hah-HAHAHAHA-!" Zombio's first response was just his annoying laughter.
"Oh, you've been always such a Komiker, Herr FableSchmitt. Done here? Coming after me? No, Herr Fableschmitt, you are going to die here! Kuh-hah-HAHAHAHAHA!" Zombio declared with his usual mad confidence.
"Heh. Look who's joking here? Didn't I just kicked the butt of your ultimate creation on the other day? Do you expect to take me with a bunch of cannon fodder? Your rotten brain must've also grown senile, you zombie trash!" Indeed, the Magius Mechanicus Nox would never submit to something as trivial as numerical superiority! Kainé felt ready to destroy Zombio's creations for the 27th time.
"Your insults are like melody to my ears, Herr Fableschmitt. Indeed, Schwartzenrasier did fall to your abominable giant. But the cost was great, doesn't it? Reactor output on 50%, muscle package tension on 40%, firepower is down to 10%. Just as I thought your so-called Nox is only a shadow of its usually fearsome power. In any other day you may had a chance against my newest creations. But today? You're going to die here! Just as I planned!" Zombio kept gloating with that ugly rotten mouth of his. Still.
"Kainé, he has a point. We're in no shape to fight a major battle here. The mission was a failure. We have nothing to do. Let's retreat and wait for the next chance to co-"
"That won't do. You know me, Ignis. I can't back out from a fight."
"But-"
"Besides, there's no way I'm going to allow these monsters to rampage free. Castello and his handful of mechs caused enough trouble for the country. I can't imagine what'd happen if we allow 52 Hellbots to roam unabated here. I trust in your skills and Nox's power. So it's your turn to trust in my ability!"
*sigh* "Alright. Then I should do my absolute best to assist you." Ignis responded with feigned exasperation but actually she was in full spirits.
"Of course!" Kainé responded while pumping all his anger to fuel his fighting spirit. That's right, he had to kick Zombio's ass like he had always done. No ifs or buts. Whatever condition Nox was in, he must win.
Nox moved, crossed its twin Magnums while assuming a stance.
"So... you actually intend to fight!? Stop being ridiculous! According to my calculations the ratio of power exceeds one to a hundred. Your actions lack any logic whatsoever! That's why I'd never able to tolerate you! Anyways, your times of annoying interference end now!" Zombio declared, frustrated by the stupid perseverance of his hated nemesis.
"Calculations? Logic? Stop kidding yourself! It's about time for me to show you that Nox is above all these!" Kainé declared as Nox immediately lunged into action.

Debris fell, like a shining metallic rain as the Most Dangerous Soldier's efforts proved fruitful. The remains of Junius Seven would not fall upon the island nation of the ORB Union, much to the annoyance of Chairman Azrael, who had skipped out on an irrelevant meeting between his inferiors within LOGOS and whatever shadowy crap equivalent those freaks in the PLANTs had.

In another place, Aaron Gentles looked on with disdain as his work over the past several weeks proved largely useless. His grand scheme had failed, the target had been missed by the utterly massive weapon wielded against it. Saved by the attack quite literally being swatted to the side.

Honestly, a colony drop. How were you supposed to counter something that damn huge? The failure of the attack simply boggled the mind. With that thought lingering in his mind, the hundreds of pieces of debris fell towards the planet below, igniting with the flames of reentry. Almost idly, the Guild Tech checked the instruments of his Astray for the projected impact site of the remaining...remains.

"San Francisco, huh..." He couldn't pretend to have any affection for the city, but that the projected casualties had gone from a cool several hundred million to a little over 400,000 struck Aaron as a profound waste of resources. Not that he wasn't getting paid anyway (unlike the mercenaries), but he had spent a lot of time setting up those GN Drives, dammit. And in the end, the only one of his fallback options that had been of any use had been that annoying child of theirs

An annoying child flying in his lone customized construction Astray with a Mirage Colloid spreader device equipped, already returning to the Nava-Hoe

Almost idly, Aaron stuck around to watch the fireworks, as the firey rain of death hurtled down upon an unsuspecting populace.

Without warning, the air above San Francisco was filled with the shrieks of metal tearing at terminal velocity.

The molten downpour fell into skyscraper and high rise alike, leveling them much like an anti-matter cannon's work in miniature. The droplets of steel and cement, built to withstand forces far greater than the earth's atmosphere, sizzled and broke apart, falling upon the city's hapless innocents like an ash of searing agony. Screams rose from the ground as one, a chorus of pain that did nothing in the face of the shrieks of death falling upon them from above.

Drawn down by Earth's gravity, the irony of Junius Seven's history took a final, bloody turn as the colony exacted a dark vengeance upon the world that had refused to allow it to take flight. A dark reflection of Icarus, the melted wings of mankind's folly fell upon young and old, man and woman alike, making the ends of those who suffered a direct impact a blessing in disguise compared to the utter agony of their neighbors who survived long enough to breath in the firey ash that fell upon them.

Hills were cleaved and bays were boiled, the magnificent Golden Gate, so long a symbol of hope with a dark side, would be forever painted by the dark brush of death of history. An errant strike rent the bridge in half, sending it's pieces tumbling into the depths, along with those unfortunates who had merely been passing through, but unable to move swiftly enough to escape.

Flame and despair descended upon San Francisco, none were safe. Without distinction. Without Mercy. Without Hope. All fell before the death falling from the heavens, a scene of massacre that could only be described in the vaguest terms, for no language could do the scene justice. Homes simply exploded, seemingly for no reason other than to kill those who had taken refuge from the death that lurked outside their simple four walls. Streets were littered with the dead and dying, their wails driving any with the presence of mind to hear to lose whatever sanity they had left.

Despair ran rampant through the streets, almost as surely as death followed in it's wake, paving the way on the countless bodies of the homeless. Those who had but hours ago known only innocence saw it robbed from them in their final moments, none of them comprehending the reasons for why such cruelty had to befall them. The sky turned red, and the storm of flame and steel continued unabated, raining death and destruction in a neat circle, falling entirely upon the City By the Bay. No longer a place of hope. No longer a bustling metropolis.

No longer even a shadow of it's former self.

Only a twisted monument to mankind's cruelty and thoughtlessness, it's consequences, and it's hopelessness.

"Meh." Aaron said, watching the proceedings through his monitors, "Better luck next time I guess."

The Fallen witnessed this incident and it reeked of opportunity.

He had hoped something Chaotic would happen but this was just too easy, Aaron Gentles and Celestial Being would made the perfect scapegoats.

Bludgeon saw the event as well and he knew exactly how to move their puppets, have all the worlds’ governments clamp down hard on all “seditious” activity and create an atmosphere of paranoia and fear. Works camps, Mind control, indoctrination, whatever tools used by these petty Human to maintain their power he will utilize it to maximize strife and encourage conflict.

Federal Socialist Republic of Carbombya
Carbombya Bay
3km from Carbomya City

"This is URUZ 01. LZ secured. All Units of Team Alpha and Bravo have successfully are in standby and ready. Phase 1 in ETA 2 minutes." Reported Lt. Commander Belfangan Clouseau, head of the Special Response Teams from the Tuatha De Danann and currently the field commander leading all SRT units for the mission.
"This is PERTH 04, acknowledged. Begin operation. PRT in ETA 14:54." Responded Ensign Piatif, communications officer and mission operator abroad the Tuaha De Danann.
Their mission was called Operation Hope Strike. The Tuatha De Danann, the Flying Dutchman and the mobilized forces from Mihril's Dubai Base all participated in it and gathered at various locations around Carbombya City. 24 M9s and two other Arm-Slaves with he latest equipment as the attackers, 24 M6A3E5LA for fire support, 50 Arm-Slaves in total.
The objectives were these:
1. Secure an area of Carbombya City and wait till the PRT forces arrive.
2. Keep the enemy Deceptricons occupied while the PRT evacuates the civilians.
3. Coordinate with and actively assist the PRT when in need.
4. Secure a safe route of retreat
5. Take out as many Deceptricons it's possible without compromising the mission

In short their duty was to be a vanguard and escort while the actual rescue was accomplished by the Primary Response Teams of 200 personnel with the leadership of none other than Lieutenant Solid Snake.
If possible Mithril would've wanted to eliminate all Deceptricons and free Carbombya but with such difference in power they decided against it.
Their first objective was to set a foothold in Carbombya City after a frontal assault.
"All units, we're up against Deceptricons. Put your ECS on minimum settings just enough to avoid other prying eyes. Keep your eye on the aggregate information map. Remember, these Deceptricons seems to be disuising themselves as shoes. Don't be fooled! Caution is essential for this mission. Team Charlie, Delta, Echo and Golf must be waiting on us by now. Let's go!!" Lt. cmd. Clouseau told everyone and then turned specifically to Kurtz.
"URUZ 06. This is URUZ 01. Are you in position?" Asked the commander.
"This is URUZ 06. I can practically see everything from up here, clear shot on over 20 of those bastards. Only waiting for the order, Sir." Master Sergeant Kurtz Weber responded. He was famous for his skills as a sniper and had his Arm-Slave specifically modified for this purpose. His job in the mission was to offer direct fire support and assume the role of the mechanized marksman.
"All Teams. Operation starts now, our target is Point E-42. Secure the area quick! We have only 10 minutes! May fortune be with us!" Clouseau broadcasted this to all SRT attack teams involved as the operation officially began.

"URUZ 02, how are you doing?" Clouseau asked 2nd Lieutenant Melissa Mao. She was the sub-commander leading Team Alpha with both her and her Arm-Slave specializing electronic warfare.
"URUZ 02 here. It's done. I'm already broadcasting a signal to inhibit their targeting systems. But these are Deceptricons we're talking about. Sheesh, I'm not sure how long this could work!" Mao complained. Sure, Mithril received some tech assisance from the Autobots but above all that just proved them how Cybertronian science is beyond their own. Once they seriously tried Mao knew that her efforts at electronic warfare will be nullified in seconds. Their enemy was just that fearsome.
"That'd be enough. I'd rather not expose my men to return fire on the open fields. URUZ 06, you have the permission to fire." Clouseau ordered and in the same moment Kurtz pulled the trigger.
The hypervelocity dart cut the distance under less than a second and hit the Deceptricon's main camera unit. While the Bofors ASG96-C was a powerful gun, Kurtz didn't have the confidence in matching it straight against the Deceptricons' armor. So he deliberately aimed at the more vulnerable spots, hitting where sensitive electronics and lack of armor was in the greatest abundance.

...

Thanks to the combined efforts of Mao and Kurtz, the tens of Deceptricons waiting in Point D-42 were effectively paralyzed and in minutes they were eliminated by the incoming Mithril attack. The combination of precise location data and the power of the new Beam Carbines allowed the Special Response Team to secure Point D-42 immediately.
"This is URUZ 01. 4 minutes left. All Units, dispose of all unidentified shoes in the area immediately!" Clouseau ordered as a precaution. Their enemy were Shoeformers who were disguised themselves as ordinary footwear.
BOOOOM!!!
Suddenly a huge explosion resounded in the whole city.
Clouseau called the Tuatha De Danann at once.
"This is URUZ 01 to PRETH 04, what happened?"
"This is PRETH 04. Recent satellite images confirm that the major powerplant to the west corner of Carbombya City just blew up!"
"What? How?"
"Yet to be determined. It was either done by the Deceptricons or the other party. Ah...!"
"What is it?"
"It's just in, the highway road leading out of Carbombya City is completely vaporized in the length exceeding... 8 kilometers!?"
"Good God! What the hell is going on there!? At this rate they're going to destroy the city before we rescue any of the civilians. Where's the Primary Response Team?"
"Already on-route to Carbombya City. ETA 2 minutes."
"That might be too late! The intrusion zone is long secure. Team Alpha, we're moving out! All the other teams should stay here and wait until the PRT arrives."
With that Team Alpha consisting Belfangan Clouseau, Melissa Mao, Kurtz Weber and Sousuke Sagara moved out, determined to take control of the situation.

Rastun had been facing Brainwave in silence for almost a minute now. "Alright, I get it. You're upset my calculations were a bit... off. I assure you it wasn't intentional. I'll make sure to perfect them before we try something like that again."

"The walking buildings..." Interrupted Megatron.

"Ah yes, sentient inanimate objects. Reminds me of Shockwave's lab." Mused the Transtech scientist.

"Ugh, don't remind me of that!" Megatron vehemently objected.

"You know it took the Security Forces 2 weeks and some serious reward offers to track them all down. Shockwave was adamant retrieving the lost data was essential. I imagine that was quite the unpleasant end. Either to be slaves or Shockwave's lobotomy victims."

The Predacon rolled his eyes. "That's interesting and all but those buildings decided they wanted to follow Captain Grumpy here so we need to decide right now. Try to avoid them, or gun them down and be done with it."

"Oh..." Brainwave turned to observe the approaching buildings. "Well how about that. It just isn't our day it seems."

"Nor is it Carbombya's," Rastun said with a slight smirk. He then continued, "I suggest we just leave the walking buildings to whatever is left of Carbombya's military. Pitiful as they are, I'm sure even they can handle walking architecture which have no ranged weapons to speak of. And seeing as how everyone in the general area is dead already, plus the fact that the city is now ruined beyond recognition, there's really no need to worry about further casualties. I'm sure both of you are very relieved at that.

"If anything, they can serve as another viable distraction. They should at least last longer than those other fools I sent."

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the Earth Sphere!" Chairman Azrael shouted, dressed in his finest suit before a podium facing a gathering of dignitaries he feared were slowly succumbing to madness. "We have just witnessed a terrible tragedy!" Behind him, a projection displayed images of the colony dropped, displaying the mercenaries fighting off the Variable fighters of the ELF, and Celestial Being arriving in order to blast those same variable fighters.

"From what our public investigation has revealed, it appears that the terrorists, for that is what they doubtlessly are, were attempting to drop the colony Junius Seven onto the ORB Alliance homeland, causing the death of millions." An image flashes behind him, showing Geist in his powersuit flanked by his recruited gang, effortlessly decimating the attacking forces and obliterating the fuck out of the colony with an anti-matter beam.

"But due to the timely intervention of a single man, the worst case scenario was avoided, and sadly only the residents of San Francisco were harmed. They will be remembered." The blond faggot wipes a tear from the corner of his eye. It almost looks real. "But the sacrifice of a 400 thousand lives, while tragic, is still a blessing compared to the alternative. And here today with us is the man single-handedly responsible for that miracle, and slaughtering the terrorists to the last man."

With this, Azrael steps back, making a sweeping gesture behind him to where another, hulking figure approaches him on the stage.

"MD-02, otherwise known as Geist!" Azrael produces a sealed letter with a flourish, handing it to the Most Dangerous Soldier, "In recognition of your achievements, and the fact that this tragedy has served as a stark wake up call." The Chairman of Blue Cosmos returns to the podium, raising his hands into the air as he begins to weep openly, "How many lives must be lost to these terrorists?! So long as Celestial Being and those like them are out there, we shall never be safe. Unfortunately, our current terms of engagement do not allow for the kind of rapid response necessary to combat this threat." He pointed towards the envelope in Geist's hands.

"Your standing orders, Geist, are as follows! Assemble a group of those who you consider to be the elite! Aces among aces! These shall be your hands and feet as you charge into battle, and eliminate your enemy! No!" Azrael grips his podium so hard his knuckles turn white, his gaze passionate as he stares at the audience and cameras in turn, "The enemies of humanity! M.D. Geist, you have your assignment, Colonel! Your initial deployment are in your orders! Godspeed!

"And good luck!"

He turns around, patting Geist on the shoulder as he walks by, "This should be enough, right?" The man whispers nearly inaudibly, so that only the super soldier hears. In the shadows, unseen by any but those two men, Flit Asuno nods almost imperceptibly in approval.

Elsewhere, Aaron Gentles quite randomly breaks into a cold sweat as he views the proceedings as the event is broadcast across known space.

"Calculations? Logic? Stop kidding yourself! It's about time for me to show you that Nox is above all these!" Kainé declared as Nox immediately lunged into action.
He was surrounded b Hellbots from every direction but it didn't matter. Nox was more than twice as fast!
By the time any of he Hellbots raised their guns Nox had already leaped into the skies.
Holding both Magnums, Nox pointed down with the pistols while its arms spread in an upside down V position.
"YOU KNOW WHAT'S NEXT!!!" Kainé shouted and Ignis immediately complied.
"Internal inertia cancelers at maximum. Torrential dive ready. Magnum power set to 10, uninhibited. Targets locked on. Initializing..."
"NEIN! NEIN! NEIN! YOU CAN'T!" Zombio panicked, recognizing the technique too late.
"RAINING PLASMA TORRENT OF DEATH!!!"
Nox's body became a blur as it spun at blinding speeds. And then...
I happened.
Countless balls of magically charged plasma descended at high speed.
Neither hundreds nor a few thousands.
Countless tiny fireballs spiraled down in their crazed dance; seeking blood, circuits and motor oil.
That's right.
The chaotic flame twister of death only had one order.
That was none other than the order of death.
Every shot flew in erratic directions yet in a direction leading towards the enemy.
There was no escape as all 52 Hellbots were buried under the sheer volume of projectiles.
Meanwhile Nox rapidly descended in a corkscrew, kicking its way through several Hellbots before finally getting to stop.
In any other situation that'd have been the end of it.
Raining Plasma Torrent of Death was Nox's infamous killing move, designed to annihilate everything.
But with barely 10% of its original power the effectiveness of this technique suffered tremendously.
Worse, even if his enemy suffered damage chances are high they're going to return soon.
Hellbots were the creations of a supernatural techno-organic virus.
Their form was subtly in a constant flux, dictated by pure chaos.
Any damage they receive is bound to be repaired in minutes with only one exception.
To control their form and power Hellbots possessed something like a 'core', a small unit essential for the machine to function.
Locating a Hellbot's well-hidden core and crushing it is the surest way to eliminate them.
"Estimated number of Hellbot cores destroyed: five." Ignis immediately reported. Most 'kills' were scored during the landing.
"Heh, not bad from the smokescreen. Let's warp it up!" Kainé
Indeed, he used his killing technique for distraction and it did work just nicely.
The entire battlefield turned into a scene of hell, Kainé's own personal hell.
The true battle was just about to begin!

"All 52 core locations confirmed. 47 units left. Switching to offense mode. Velocitas Magnum power set to 1000, semi-auto." Ignis reported as the pistols switched to wha Kainé unofficially referred as he "Desructor Mode". Steaming orange-hot radiators revealed themselves around the gun' body, ensuring optimal function even at such incredible output.
Meanwhile more and more Hellbots made partial recovery, readying their weapons to overwhelm Nox wih their superior firepower.
Nox crossed its guns while assuming a stance.
"Let's dance!" Kainé exclaimed and Nox immediately lunged into action.
First he gunned down two Hellbots in the opposite direction before they could pull he trigger. Beams of plasma penetrated the cores of both in the same instant. Then Nox alternated directions and shot down two other Hellbots with its guns pointing cross-wise. After that Nox swung out its arms while pulling the trigger four times, eliminating 4 Hellbots with surprising accuracy.
"Just 39 more! Come on! Don't make it too easy for me!" Kainé shouted half-provokingly. Albeit he knew that Hellbots are too dumb to get it.
That being said things were heating up rapidly as more and more Hellbots rushed to his field of fire.
"Kaniné!"
"I know Ignis."
So far Nox didn't move an inch from its original position but with the increasing numbers that was no longer a possibility. After shooting down the tenth Hellbot, Nox's body suddenly became a blur.
Using Impetus Maximum Nox performed a rapid headlong charge with its knee crashing right into the enemy's chest.
Unfortunately Kainé missed the core but that was quickly corrected by a point-blank Magnum shot.
"Bunch of dummkopfs! He's over there! Kill him!" Zombio ried to command his machines, obviously not satisfied with the flow of battle.
Too bad, Nox already danced away with a rapid cartwheel, scoring two shots while he was at it.
Soon Nox found itself in the thick of the enemy, just the way Kainé wanted.
With the enemy serving as his shield from long range attacks Nox began its game of robot massacre up close.
First, he shot down two Hellbots that were too slow to turn. Then caught another robot's strike and rebuked it with the body of his Magnum, soon delivering a fatal shot with the other gun. Using this moment a rather bulky Hellbot tried to crush him with an overhead blow. Nox leaped away, turned mid-air and fired with both Magnums to ensure that opponent got what it deserved. Upon landing two Hellbots attacked him. One was charged him with a pair of extremely sharp blades. Never bring a blade into a gunfight. Kainé took that machine down without effort. The other attacked with a giant wrecking ball. Nox redirected that with an enhanced kick and shot down the attacker while it was at it.
At that point both Magnums' magazines were empty. Instead of bothering to reload Kainé dismissed his guns to the sub-dimension and summoned his large sword, Radica-Lamina Segmentae. He immediately delivered a powerful swing upon landing which made a deep gash in the Hellbot's body. Unfortunately it didn't penetrate deep enough to destroy the core but that could be helped. Kainé delivered another blow, this time enchanted by an explosive surge of magic power. Like it were cutting butter the sword cleaved clean through the enemy.
"Only 28 left, huh"
Nox's sword suddenly extended massively, working more like a bladed whip and it swept around in a circle.
It didn' take down any of the Hellbots but gained him enough time for what he was about to do next.
Nox summoned the magical revolver Fulminis Certus. The weapon was limited to 6 shots per reloads regardless of its settings thus it was less versatile than the Velocitas Magnums but the gun had its own kinks.
[[FORTUNA MAXIMAE! ITERITAE!!!]]
Meanwhile Kainé rapidly pulled the trigger six times, unleashing six magic bullets cascading in erratic flight pattern.
They were seeking enemies, penetrating their weak points and then repeat this so long they had power. Each bullet took down multiple Hellbots.
Meanwhile with sword in his right and one of the Magnums in his left Nox attacked the remaining enemies.
this fight was about to end.

In a facility once known as Area 51

Geist surveyed what was given to him by the unified forces of Earth.

A team of Phantom Pain Pilots led by a silent man named Sven Cal Bayang, his squadmates Shams Couza and Mudie Holcroft seemed more talkative on the other hand.
Another team called the Overflags was assigned to his command from the World Economic Union, led by Graham Aker stated to be one of the greatest pilots on earth. His team was assembled to investigate the Gundam Misters and had many encounters with them.

And Finally from Zaft the Zala Team composed of the Pilots of the Stolen Gundam units Yzak Joule, and Nicol Amalfi and their support team of Isaac Mau and Shiho Hahnenfuss. Their competence is...arguable at best but this was the best ZAFT had to offer.
And finally a batch of elite cloned Pilots called the Socius series, 19 of the 20 pilots were treated with Drugs making them mindless drones who could only attack Coordinators and likely anything that is Not Human.

Geist felt nothing for them, so as long as they proved themselves useful in a battle and stayed away from his kills he had no qualms against using them as pilots.
Before a word could be said a pair of the Socius pilots walked up to Geist and pulled out their knives.
His subordinates attempted to pull out their sidearms but Giest signaled them to desist.
They were Geist’s challengers.
His kills.

Geist allowed the first Socius to get a hit in.
The Blade broke against his Skin, not even piercing it.
He was mildly disappointed.

The Clone may have been drugged out of its mind but even it showed a hint of a very primal emotion on his face, fear.
Geist backhanded the clone and he was sent flying into a far away hanger door.
The body slid down the door leaving a trail of blood.

The second clone charged at Geist but the MDS was much faster then he looked, he sidestepped the attack and was soon behind the clone.
Before the Socius could react Geist unsheathed his knife and jammed it into the Clones skull sending blood shooting out in all directions.
The Socius tried to pick himself up for a few seconds but finally fell over and died.

As the body fell the entire unit fell silent.

The Phantom Pain members were in silent awe of Geist’s skill while others like Nicol and Shiho were shocked by his animalistic lust for battle and realized this was why he was labeled ‘Most Dangerous’.

Graham noticed Geist’s lust for battle was not too dissimilar to his own search for matching the Gundams in battle, he wondered if he too was becoming obsessed like Geist was.

“Any questions?” said Geist breaking the silence.

"Yeah, sure. Whatever. If they want to come after us they'll probably chase any shoes they see. Let's go take are of this asshole and get out of here."

"It's time to settle an old score then, yes!"

And with that the trio set off for the final confrontation. Elsewhere in his lair Carbombya's overlord seemed to sense the coming battle. Whether from powers gifted by Unicron or by powers procured via other means was unknown. His maniacal laughter as chilling as ever.

It had taken a few days, but Aaron and the rest of the crew of the Nava-Hoe finished repairing and recovering from the failed colony drop.

Chachamaru remained locked in her storage closet, while Natarle continued to remain in the kitchen, exiled there due to her utter uselessness in combat. Flit Asuno had lond since departed for other duties, while Ali got drunk and flung knives at a child.

Aaron returned to spending time with the soulless machines that were his only friends. A link that Chachamaru attempted to exploit, but one that failed once Aaron revealed that he enjoyed the company of machines since they were the only ones that didn't complain when he opened them up.

Chachamaru shut up for awhile after that.

Bludgeon once again became bored with waiting for another update from Tarantulus

Every so often he would slaughter a random civilian ship with Warworld but the fights would be so one sided it felt pointless

He wanted a glorious death, granted being a herald of Unicron made such a wish nearly impossible to reach but he had to try.

Somewhere out in the multiverse existed either a singular Warrior or a group Warriors powerful enough to challenge him.

Suddenly Warworld's sensors picked up another target, the Ship that belonged to the fugitive.

Gentles was hardly a challenge and more of a minor nuisance at best but finally having something to test his new weapons brought Bludgeon a sense of satisfaction.

Carbombya: Revelations and Headaches

The group having arrived at the hidden Unicron command base was unsure of how to proceed. Was the entrance rigged with a trap? Was the occupant simply so confident in their abilities that they were just waiting? Ultimately there was no we to know without actually entering.

"I say we just blow the door down and go in. Standing around here gains us nothing. Though I do wish I had a booby to seen in first, yes..."

Confused by the last statement Brainwave inquired. "What, why?"

"You have to send someone in first to trip the booby traps and who better than a boob."

"I'll keep that in mind if we ever start recruiting." The Transtech's tone indicating he was not amused by the reasoning. Displeased with this Megatron retorted.

"No need to be a smartass."

"I'm not in the mood for another argument, just blow the damn door so we can get this over with."

The trio unloaded on the entrance blowing it to pieces. When the smoke cleared it revealed a long stairwell running through a large tunnel.

"Well that's a tiny bit excessive, what were they trying to do make this thing Tripticon accessible?" Brainwave was astonished by the size of it, unable to understand why it was so large. "I'm not detecting any traps so he doesn't have anything high tech waiting for us. It's either low tech or he doesn't think he needs any protection."

"Oh he'll soon regret that arrogance, yes!"

Cautiously the group made their way down the tunnel without incident. At the end of it they found a sizable cavern with a series of monitors. One of them monitoring the Uincron Singularity. The second searching for signs of another anomaly Brainwave assumed was the thing the Transtechs detected at the start of this mess. The third calculating intervals for Dark Science rituals. And the last simply reading feed lost. Logically it was connected to Carbombya's surveillance system before the power was cut.

"Well hidden and highly specialized. No way this place would be abandoned but where is he..." Brainwave didn't like this. There was a groundwork in place here. Something engineered for a specific goal. But the occupant was nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly a voice echoed across the cave. "Greetings, friends." Impossible to trace the origin. The individual highly skilled at concealing their location. As to be expected of Tarantulas.

"Show yourself arachnid, so I can squish you like the bug you are!" Megatron quickly snapped.

"But if I did that I'd have to kill you without having this amusing chat."

"Not much for greetings are you Tarantulas?"

"Oh Brainwave was it? I think you'd dislike most of my greetings. The usually end with either being tied to a table and experimented on or having your vital fluids sucked out."

"How very... Shockwave of you."

Tarantulas chuckled at this. "Perhaps you would have preferred my robot rhinoceros plan?

"Do I even want to know?"

"You see I was going to have a robot rhinoceros waiting at the door to release an energon fart on you when you opened it. For old times sake."

Being a rather embarrassing moment for Megatron he didn't take this well. "That never happened, do you hear me!"

Ignoring the Predacon's temper Brainwave wondered why that would amuse Tarantulas "Wait, didn't you get caught in that uh... fart? Why would that be your plan?"

"To piss off Megatron, why else? You see he does really dumb things when he's angry."

"I'm aware. I guess something that humiliating would be a good way to do it. The only thing I can think of that rivals it for potential humiliation is getting beaten by lab equipment a little girl and a Bumblebee fast talked into revolting."

"SHUT UP! BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP RIGHT NOW OR I'LL RIP YOU TO PIECES!"

Tarantulas laughed for several minutes. "You never change, do you Megatron?"

This is certainly turning into a mess already, Rastun thought. Megatron's buttons were clearly being pushed and he's falling for it. Meanwhile, the Astafanel's sensors can't pick up the enemy's location. His stealth technology must be fairly advanced for him to leave no trace to find. The three of them are at an obvious disadvantage in the cult leader's lair. Seeing as Megatron losing his temper isn't going to help matters, Rastun decides to give his own counsel.

"Megatron, shut up and cool off. I don't care if you were beaten by school supplies, this isn't the time to be losing it. Our chances will be worse off if you can't think straight." A part of him feels that will only make Megatron angrier, but it had to be said. He then addresses their common enemy, "If you're going to kill us, just come out and get it over with. Otherwise, I'll just bring this entire place down on you." He readies the Astafanel's wrist cannons to show he meant his words. An obvious attempt at baiting him, but with a damaged enemy mech in his own lair, there was a good chance the cult leader wouldn't refuse to take it. Rastun hopes the enemy comes to him, just to catch the ringleader off-guard with something he hasn't used yet.

"School supplies?" Megatron had been muttering this for awhile now, seemingly on the verge of a total meltdown. Meanwhile Brainwave was unhappy about the ultimatum.

"Slow down there tex, if has transphase mode that will be totally pointless. We need to know what he can do before we try to counter anything."

"I don't have that ridiculous ability." Tarantulas interjected. "Collapsing the cavern is pointless anyways. Besides I just want to explain how pointless all your efforts have been. Wouldn't you like to understand just what we've done?"

"Oh gloating, how original."

"Call it gloating if you wish but you will listen."

"Fine, fine. Get it over with."

Chuckling Tarantulas prepared to reveal the true nature of what had been set in motion. Unicron's ultimate gambit. The destruction of all realities everywhere.

"You see Lord Unicron had grown sick of being defeated by Primus so we were tasked to find a way to avoid him. Most plans involved a cloaking measure of some kind but a simple servant came up with a simple idea. Go somewhere Primus isn't. Naturally we all laughed at him for the absurd notion but Unicron was intrigued by the idea and made us experiment with it. Results were... lackluster until the singularity formed. But at that point it seemed Unicron's ultimate victory over Primus was certain so the plot was put on the back burner and the Universe War was waged to press Primus on as many fronts as possible. When the destruction of the singularity became a certainty one last desperate attempt to complete the experiment. And it worked! Unicron's power opened a breach that led outside the multiverse and was drawn to another anomaly. As the two drew closer they started resonating and amplifying each other until they made contact and caused this. As a result Unicron's top servants were all flung back in time. And now we're ensuring the two events meet again and destroy everything!"

Brainwave was left with a blank expression after this story. "You're insane."

"I may be insane but the story is true. You detected the results of their contact didn't you?"

"Yes... Why would you want to duplicate it? It's just going to fling you back in time again."

"You're wrong Transtech. Unicron is our god. We can neutralize the time displacement this time now that we know it will happen. And it's too late to stop it. The contact will happen. Carbombya is our least valuable asset. Simply a staging area to set events in motion again, a target of opportunity. Destroy this entire country, it won't matter! The singularity is already growing and soon the second anomaly will reappear and the end of all things will begin!" Tarantulas' mad cackling filled the cavern again. "Since you've all been good sports and listened to the story I'll be glad to kill you now. Unless you'd like to surrender to the inevitable and assist us."

"As if windbag, show yourself so I can rend you into pieces like Rampage did!"

"As you wish Megatron, but remember you asked for it."

A small silver and black spider lowered itself on energon webbing a few dozen yards in front of the trio. Clearly not a natural creature, it's body looking robotic with eerie green eyes. Only about the size of a human. "Shall we begin, gentlemen?"

"That should do it..." Aaron grunted, finishing some last minute adjustments to the ReGHOST's Mirage Colloid systems.

"What should do what?" Choppchopped asked timidly while being suspended from meathooks, a number of wires connecting her halved body to a nearby computer.

Aaron ignored her, as he continued working on his Astray. Every now and again he checked something against what appeared to be the robot's programming, before nodding to himself, closing up the mech and wiping his hands off. Minutes later, after cleaning himself, Aaron went to go grab a sandwich from the Mess Hall, and maybe see if he this time he could finally manage to drink Ali under the table.

The wires disconnected from the bisected gynoid, and the hangar fell into darkness.
