That is only if it is in one of the unique points in space where it would not be pulled down and then burn up in orbit. Most of the fighting was as close to the planet as possible, to stop them raising the shield so a lot of the debris will have fallen to the surface.

Oh bloody hell. The Ori must have made a pretty attractive offer if Palpatine is a legitimate convert.

With the Ori you only really need to believe them enough to make you a prior. After that no matter what your reservations unless you have the mind of an ancient in your mind like Merlin you don't really have a choice.

The odds are that Palps would try to find a way to do both, Sith & Ori, they could even be the same for all we know

You will find out what happens later. For now you have to decide what to do obey or fight.

Thank goodness I've not been shot at. I will wait for some of the others to post before my reply, which should be later tonight.Another thought just came to mind, what with the end of the Clone Wars, there would likely be wreckage - certainly around Coruscant, and other systems that would allow other players to find navigational data. i certainly doubt it has all been cleaned up yet

Or, you could have your two hyper advanced AI friends go out and rip open all the relatively unprotected computer systems out there and get everything you need =}. Also
If it comes down to a skirmish I figured out a way to deal with the MAC, so I'll still
Have it but won't get a 3 round burst every 4-6 minutes.

Oh have fun for your ai infecting wraith organic computers. Not only is it apparently unpleasant but with the fact that your ai have never dealt with anything like that I doubt they'd have much success :P I mean you would have something to fight against thinking it was an ai when it was actually the hives brain :P might be a good scene if you want to act it out. However you may eventually be the first one to find out the unpleasant truth of how the Wraith feed.

I had a few thoughts about wraith ship encounters AI, wasn't quiet sure how to handle
It that's why I avoided it so far. But that is a good idea, soon. Once we massacre the weaker systems lol.

Well if Quicksilver is connected to the Hives mind when you try to interact with the Hives systems god help you. They may be AI but then they'll be interacting with the full mind of a living sentient being. They'll come worse off on that one. If you decided to attack me with both Ai I'll just have the Queen nip over to the bridge.

Given the totally different and unframiar environment an the organic Method that would be used to attack them, they would Be at a disadvantage, At least for awhile. It would be the same if the hive mind tried to attack the Icarus computer systems. Can a Hive do that? I never thought about it like that lol. I'll write something about Caden's thoughts about each ship in my next post.

Nah won't be able to. Me and Echo have been discussing this (A player that might join.) We decided that wirelessly you have little hope. The Hive itself would likely manage to repel you. Let alone without a Wraith plugged in. However if you were plugged into the actual ship you'd have more of a chance however then if you failed you'd be at the mercy of the Hive and the Commander. It would be interesting sure enough, we both agree your best chances of success would be to try and access research terminals on the Hive that aren't part of the actual vessel like Hyperspace, Engines, Weapons and life support as those are all directly controlled by the Hives mind. Everything else isn't.

Whenever you want to collab meeting the Hives mind tell me, as I feel it should be collabed and added onto one of our posts.

I think if it came down to it that would be a last ditch attempt anyway, once the AI's figured out what the ship actually is. Unless we desperately needed something from off the ship I think 2-3 ferric Tungsten slugs going a fraction of the speed of light would be a much better solution lol.

I never thought about the Hive itself, it is a living entity I guess. Hmm, that's interesting, off to research I go.

I'm getting quite a bit from novella here. As you don't actually see much off the hives being an actual living entity but in one episode.

Also the Hive isn't going to be a real... antagonist. Just the most untrustworthy vessel in the ragtag fleet we are likely to form :P

Part of me wants to bring across an Eclipse Phase ship, they're relavtively low powered but would murderise a Wraith if they neuro-linked with them. There are just so many ways they could do it with lots of viruses.

Free Eclipse Phase pdf's by the creator: http://robboyle.wordpress.com/eclipse-phase-pdfs/

Plus they can backup any characters that die, through the use of a cortical stack, meaning they can re-sleeve into a new body.

Then there is also a Nova Praxis ship, where they can undergo apotheosis in which they convert the brain via nanites into a machine mind, but it also allows for neuro-connections and sending viruses.

Well, now to see what people do with the Imperials and their requests and offers.

By allowing a boarding party aboard several things are likely to happen. The Imps will either try to sabotage, albeit discreetly; or to kidnap non-essential personnel. Or become hostages themselves. It will not end well I suspect.
