Appearance:
Name: Kellerin "Kelly" Vendextrus
Title: Niflheim, the Cerulean Knight
Age: 75. Physically 24.
Faction: The Ultimatum
Personality: Kellerin is a quirky and fun-loving individual, as can be seen at a first glance of her wide smile, swirly glasses hiding the eyes and fake cat ears she wears atop her head. She tries to turn her research into something fun for her and her subordinates. She often likes to treat those serving her as Elementary School children of which she is the teacher for. Giving allies cute nicknames and handing out candy when someone does something impressive in her division, she can never be viewed as a threat to anyone except for those who know her especially well; a list which grows shorter with each passing day. People often wonder how someone whom appears so dimwitted and carefree became Niflheim, leader of the Intelligence Division.
The truth of the matter is, Kellerin was chosen because of her true personality. She has done her best to hide it, but she has the innate desire to attain knowledge at any cost. For the pursuit of knowledge she would sooner save a book than a low-level subordinate, the only exceptions being her fellow Division leaders and Sachiro, of which she holds the utmost respect for.
Her strong lust for knowledge often leads to avoidable deaths of her squads through the sheer anticipation to add to the vast collection of knowledge accumulated over the years. Blinded by her desires, she'll heartlessly rip apart any obstacle standing between her and her goal.
She can be quick to anger if the right buttons are pressed. She's self-conscious about her appearance, especially regarding wrinkles or weight. Anyone who points out she may have these flaws will receive a vicious fury deceiving of her nature. Those who badmouth or threaten her fellow knights will also receive her sadistic side.
History: Kellerin, before joining The Ultimatum, was a mercenary and assassin for hire, working for the highest bidder. She was once hired by a group of anti-Ultimatum conspirators to kill a fairly high-ranking officer. She accepted the offer immediately after seeing the payout it would give, and made her way to the location.
Needless to say, her assassination failed, and she was captured after being overwhelmed by soldiers. She confessed all she knew about the conspiracy, and the group who hired her was soon tracked down and killed.
After what she did, some wished the death sentence upon her. After a personal visit from Sachiro Harime, a decision was made which would shock those around them.
Kellerin didn't know why it was happening, or from where it came from, but Sachiro had offered her a place as leader of the Intelligence Division. To this day, she doesn't understand why she was made this offer, but felt that The Superior could see something in her she couldn't see in herself.
She was given a tome, and her studies began immediately. She was given a second chance at life, and no longer had to worry about where she would sleep or what she would eat. She owed it to those around her to ensure she held up her end of the bargain, which meant ensuring any and all knowledge was preserved for the future.
Tome: Furu Meikai
Her Tome is a small blue book with marks and stitches all over it, appearing as if it has been scarred and destroyed many times. Its spine is a light green and seems partially bound by tape.
When activated, the tome becomes a
visor which can identify any and all objects clearly in her line of sight, which is up to 250 meters with the visor active. Organics appear red and inorganic creations appear blue.
The tome also spawns five flying robotic drones big enough to only barely stand on. These drones can be destroyed, but reconstruct themselves regardless of how much damage is dealt to them. They can self-destruct, causing immense damage to anyone within 20 feet of the blast, but will take 3 posts to reconstruct rather than immediately after being destroyed by normal means. They are armed with laser cannons, and can transform into handguns for Kellerin to use manually, or into energy daggers. Normally however, they move according to Kellerin's thoughts. Visualizing where she wants them to go, they will proceed to that destination. If she commands them to shoot either vocally or internally, they will.
