The two thugs kept firing their guns in every which direction, just hoping to hit something before their ammo ran out, when they felt something slowly lift them into the air. Their some-what composed stature quickly broke as they fell to the ground, and wordlessly they decided to cut their loses and try to make a break for it, despite being blinded. They ran into a few obstacles and ultimately didn't get too far before they got cut down by Sam. But while one of the goons wisely stayed down trying not to bleed to death, one of the goons got a bit crazy. When Sam slashed him, the goon took out a frag grenade, pulled the pin with his teeth, and than wrapped his arms around Sam's body, pressing the grenade between him and the goon. "I'm taking you down!"
Meanwhile the armored van barely managed to escape Aria's attack, but one of their tires were popped. This made it a bit harder for the driver to control his vehicle, but not enough to make them stop. "Damn! Someone take that Titan out!" She was too small of a target for the RPG goon to get a good shot, so the other three picked up their M4A1 and started shooting at Aria, which was rather easy at the moment since she was flying in the air with no cover.
As the goons were fighting on the other side of town, the scientist just said his good byes to the various sponsors and people of interests. He was a bit tired and sweaty from the presentation, but he felt that he did a good job showing off the suit. Just as he was walking towards the containment chamber where he could charge the suit, Dark Matter called out to him. "Good show! Jolly good show. I must ask, is this a prototype or one of your finished products? There is much potential in this machine, I want to know what else it can do." The scientist looked around. He didn't see anyone; Dark matter was not present. He was nervous and slowly backed towards the center of the room. "W-who's there? Where are you?" All the guards had just left to escort the sponsors out, leaving him alone. "Fear not. I just want to ask some questions." The scientist gulped and stammered. "T-t-this is a finished product, yes, but we're always looking to improve our robots in the future... I imagine with more funding and support, we could improve the suit to add new functions and increase it's abilities..." The scientist looked around, trying in vain to find the source of the voice. He spoke well when in front of the sponsors, but somehow this voice from Dark Matter unnerved him. Rightfully so. "So would it be safe to say that, should this exoskeleton suit and you be... Gone, research can be continued?" The scientist didn't want to answer that. Thoughts ran through his mind; was he going to be kidnapped? Killed? Would the exoskeleton be stolen? He can't allow that, but what could he do? He was a scientist, not a guard. The exoskeleton suit did give him a massive boost to his strength however. Surely that with it, he could beat down any thief that tried to confront him. "Well, answer the question." The scientist gulped and weakly put his fists up "... Yes." He looked around him. He looked above him. Where could Dark Matter be?
"That's all I needed to know."
Suddenly the scientist's head grew heavy. Before he could even see what was going on, a bone-like claw impaled him through the neck. On top of his head sat Dark Matter, who had been naught but a drop in his hair. His form was hunched over with a single talon out, which was used to kill the scientist. His body went limp as his life blood seeped from his neck. "Sorry about this, but it's just business." Dark Matter than consumed the Scientist and the Exoskeleton suit, gaining the Scientist's knowledge and the information he'd need to operate and recreate the exoskeleton. Now he just needed to make his escape before-
"Oh my god!"
