PERSONALITY: Ian is your standard introvert personality type. He is adept enough at social interaction when approached or when it is necessary, but he avoids initiating conversation with others and generally only interacts with a relatively small number of people throughout his day. He isn’t socially inept, but he doesn’t go out of his way to make friends or a good impression. Most who know him would speak of Ian as quiet but nice enough. He prefers to be observing events rather than be personally involved. He cares deeply for his younger sister despite frequently referring to her as “a pest”, and unlike many his age he appears to be on amicable terms with both of his parents.

OCCUPATION: Student, and Ian delivered pizzas as a part time.

BACKGROUND: Ian Carroway lived in a small two-story house not far from the campus of Valhalla University with his parents and his younger sister. His father usually worked from home, or as Ian put it best “pretends to work from home”, as he spent much of his time at home painting various things in his imaginary art studio that was really meant to be an office. The walls of the house will covered with Ian’s father’s best works, though the beauty was definitely in the eye of the beholder. Due to the closeness, Ian simply walked or rode his bike to go to classes. At the end of the day he would borrow his dad’s car and drive around town to deliver pizza and earn some money. His boss made sure to send Ian whenever a young kid called to order a lot of pizzas at once because he didn’t want to send someone who would raise a commotion over kids partying. A lot of business came from those parties after all. Everything considered, Ian appears to be a completely normal young man. It is worth noting that neither Ian nor anyone from his family was seen leaving their home during the days just before the riots, and shortly after the riots began smoke was seen rising from near where Ian lived. The entire block was burned to the ground over the course of a day. It is unknown if either he or his family are still alive.

SKILLS: Ian is relatively physically fit on account of going to the gym a few times a week, he’s amazingly good at improvising responses to questions he wasn’t paying attention to, he’s a good storyteller, and by extension a good liar, though he didn’t need to often, and he pays attention to details that seem completely unimportant.

PERSONALITY: Anarchy acts in a way befitting the name he has been given. He runs about chaotically with no clear direction or purpose and does things heedless of risk to himself. Every single time he has been seen he has either been quiet, not saying anything as he leaves his strange messages or else simply stopping and staring at things, or he has been maniacal, hollering and yelling as if wanting attention as he rushes about or laughing as if he’s having fun when any sane person would be screaming.

OCCUPATION: Vandal, Amateur graffiti artist

BACKGROUND: Though we will refer to him as a him and his name as Anarchy, know that Anarchy has also been called Catman, Contrary, and The Anarchist by various sources and that his true gender is unknown. The individual called Anarchy was first sighted on January 9th, when he was seen leaping from building to building around the edge of the perimeter, likely looking for a way out. He was named Anarchy by most after he spray painted the anarchy symbol on the ground in front of a camera and then sprayed “I AM ANARCHY, LET ME IN!” over it. He has never been seen without his hood up and mask covering the lower half of his face. He was first believed to be involved with the rioters, as he appeared at about that time, but he continued to appear even after the rioters stopped. The most noteworthy recording of Anarchy is of him running through the streets with an infected chasing close behind. The audio is hard to make out, but it appears as if he was laughing. The odd pair vanish from camera range, but since Anarchy appeared again soon after it appears as if he got away from the infected somehow. There are many graffiti tags left on the quarantine wall or where cameras might see them left by Anarchy. A couple such examples are: a large black and yellow smiley face on the road with one eye being a manhole cover, “FEED THE ANIMALS” sprayed in black across the side of a red brick building, “TAP THE GLASS” on the quarantine wall with the word TAP repeated many times surrounding the message, and “IF WE DONT HELP YOU YOULL ALL DIE” sprayed in black and red onto a metal roof.

SKILLS: Anarchy has been seen jumping from rooftops and has outrun an infected for at least fifteen minutes straight from what the video footage shows. He has also managed to get away from an infected, though whether he used some means of escape or simply got lucky is unknown. While he has never been seen actually using it, Anarchy carries a machete on his side that has been seen with blood on it in a few clips. He obviously cut someone or something somewhere along the way. Getting ahold of all the paint that his many messages must have taken had to have taken considerable skill as well.
LIKES: Paint, paint, and more paint; and spray paint; and laughing in the face of danger, quite literally.
