"Alright, now the kid gloves are off!"

Magic:

Arc of Arachnid's clutch

A lost magic that is only known as fear inducing and a cause of distress for those who witness it, it is also an advanced form of take over magic.

Only years of self-teaching allowed Cordelia to master this type of magic, with the assistance of old tomes and such. It allows the caster to transform into a giant spider; he or she is able to create large webs in a matter of seconds, move with rapid succession and be able to conjure and control masses of different insects and arachnids. The user may only need to conjure the creatures if there is none or not enough to meet their standards nearby.

Of course the caster will also unfortunately lack the ability to do much after returning to their previous form as this lost magic spell drains most of their energy. Cordelia finds joy in watching people squirm as she becomes such a demonic creature, however, most of the time she only uses it in dire situations because of the amount of energy it draws from her.

The magic primarily draws its power from the fact that insects are natural creatures that are weak when on their own, so they do not take much strength to create.

Magic Level:
Cordelia does not have a magic level due to being part of the Ragged Brotherhood, yet it is known she is very strong and adept with magic.
History:
Cordelia was born into a life of richness and perfection, butlers tending to her every need and maids constantly cleaning up where she had made a mess (Usually on purpose). Her lavish life was not the one she wanted, however, as she would always disobey her parents orders when she had been naughty. The young girl would be sent to her room where she would immediately pull of her frilly pink dress and climb out of the window, where adventure awaited. She would go the same route always; through the hole in the garden hedge, cross the river by jumping on the stepping stones and counting them as she went and finally swinging on a rope swing which had been left by someone who had previously seen the forest as their home, too. That's what she liked to imagine, anyway. Who wouldn't like this place?

Oblivious to the power of magic that people could use, all Cordelia would do was see how many different creepy crawlies she could spot on each of her trips, and the variety she would always encounter. This would lead her to beg her parents for a book on them. Originally, they were disgusted with the idea that she would be interested with things that live in dirt, yet the astute girl managed to convince them that she would study insects for her job and that she would get lots of money. This calmed the demons that were her parents. Cordelia didn't do this on her own, she had the asisstance of her older brother who she very strongly looked up to as he had always helped her for as long as she can remember.

One day, when she was eight, she went on her usual trip to the woods, yet it wouldn't be a normal one for her.

Cordelia noticed the bagworm moths on the trees, the woodlice scuttling along the floor and even a black widow creating a web. She came to the stream and noticed some dragonflies darting around the edge, they were one of her favourite bugs. The young girl could feel magic surging around her when suddenly a set of wings similair to that of dragonflies sprouted from her back. This greatly surprised her to the point where she lost her footing and almost fell in to the river, if not for her wings saving her. The sudden influx of magic overwhelmed so that when she changed back, she was out of breath completely. After a while of training this type of spell, she managed to successfully achieve three forms; Bug Soul: Wings, Bug Soul: Stinger and Bug Soul: Pincers.

After her brother left her family's home, she decided it was time for her to move on too, yet she was only thirteen. Cordelia, however, did not care about her age and convinced her parents to send her to a boarding school in Magnolia - hopefully she would find joy there, compared to her boring rich girl life. In one of her lessons, she was told of 'Lost magic', which was apparently very strong magic suitable for those who wished for power. The girl lusted for such a thing and began taking library books out to study what may be in store for her if she continued reasearching it.

At the age of sixteen, Cordelia finally decided that she was ready to perform it. It took a lot of energy out of her, yet the fruits of her endeavour were apparent: she was a giant spider! A craving for destruction surged through her and when she reawoke as a human, her boarding school was destroyed. A man clad in shadowy clothes had witnessed this, and approached her with an offering that she may join their brotherhood. Realising that the destruction made he slightly smirk, Cordelia graciously accepted and thus became part of the Ragged Brotherhood.

Personality:
Cordelia takes pleasure in delivering pain to others, a sadist, she finds it amusing to watch people squirm as she tortures them with her magic, but she also laughs at something simple as someone being embarassed. She takes a joyful approach towards life, grinning and smirking most of the time, yet defeat is not something she enjoys. The girl has a short temper when being overwhelmed and can easily lose her control if such an event happened. Cordelia also prefers to be with someone as she is attention seeking and can become extremely bored without the company of anybody, to be honest.

Team Members:
Cordelia usually travels around with other members of the Ragged Brotherhood, she seldom goes about on her own.

Three Strengths:
1. The ability to irritate others by constantly laughing at them.

2. Poisonous nail varnish if she cannot use her magic for whatever reason.

3. Cannot be poisoned by insects.

Three Weaknesses:
1. Able to lose energy quickly through the use of Arc of Arachnid's clutch.

2. Sometimes lets her guard down.

3. Has a short temper when losing fights.

Greatest Love:
Cordelia loves anything associated with bugs, willing to protect them at whatever cost in some occasions.

Motivation:
Cordelia's motivation is to bring happiness to herself by giving pain to others and following The First's orders.

Magic:

Fear Magic
Isaac has the power to harden his body to that of strong metals almost instantaneously. It fuels off of the fear and pressure Isaac was subjected to in his past. His skill with this magic has extended to the point where he is able to harden specific parts of his body - which takes much less concentration and magical energy.

Magic Level:
Being in the Ragged Brotherhood, Isaac is not ranked by letters. He is a Ragged Brotherhood Ensign, meaning he is much more skilled than the average cultist.
History:
Isaac Milton was born in a small town with a whopping population of one hundred inhabitants. He grew up being an only child and had few friends considering many of the town's citizens were elderly or older, their children gone away to bigger cities. Isaac was simple. He was content to roam the vast forests that surrounded the town. He climbed trees and caught bugs. He would occupy himself further by building shabby forts made of large tree branches and even larger leaves. He soon got older, but not much changed. He worked as a courier. He would deliver letters to relatives or friends of the people of his town. He would have to travel through the forest for a few miles to get to a somewhat nearby tram stop. As his mother and father died early deaths due to a sickness that hit the town when new arrivals settled down, he inherited his parent's house and was soon alone. He continued his job and for a few years, everything was fine. Isaac, en route to the Tram station, stumbled upon a clearing he'd not seen before. Within the center of this clearing was a shadily dressed man. Isaac approached the man and put a hand on his shoulder, expecting maybe the man was sick or exhausted and collapsed. This was the biggest mistake of his life. As soon as he touched the man, images flooded his panicked mind.
"The dead will rise, the nature will restore it's formal glory."
This mere sentence and images of said dead rising and ent-like creatures devouring the living completely consumed his mind and for 6 hours. Isaac endured these thoughts, unconscious for the whole time. And when he woke, he was not the same. Isaac tried to cry out for help, or maybe it was in anger. He wouldn't know. He opened his mouth and blood spilled out. Isaac shoved a few fingers in his mouth only to find that his tongue was gone. Isaac then stumbled back home. The images flashed through his head. As soon as he got home he knew he had to leave. But for hours he tried to recover, thinking it was like every other time he'd been frightened. But this was different. He could not will the thoughts from his mind. He swallowed the blood that flooded his mouth cavity and packed his valuables into a bag. Isaac left the next day, he told nobody (Not that he could) He made his way to Magnolia. He lived in a cheap apartment near the east end of Magnolia.

Isaac's sleeping schedule after the encounter with the mysterious specter was out of order. He would sleep mostly in the day in very short periods. He was tired almost all the time. One night he finally drifted asleep only to wake up an hour later, flailing and thrashing in his cheap bed as the terrible images filled his mind once again, like they did almost every day. As he flailed, his arm swung and hit his bedside table. The table was smashed and Isaac fell from his bed. He calmed himself and realized what he'd done. This was when he'd discovered his magic.

Isaac needed to figure out how to control his power. Until he did, he would wear a mask he made of scrap wood. There was also something else he needed to figure out; who had put this curse upon him?

Personality:
Timid, paranoid, likes his personal space. Doesn't look people in the eye even as he communicates via sign language. He hates being around people he doesn't know but if he does happen to know them, he stays near them - this tends to be members of the Ragged Brotherhood. These characteristics are partly from the eternal trauma "The Spook" had embedded deep within Isaac and partly from living in a small town with a small family. Isaac will also not hesitate to murder anybody who makes him feel threatened.

Team Members:
Isaac does not have any team members, but may sometimes be requested to travel with other cultists.

Three Strengths:
1. There is no way to tell if he's casting a spell or talking to you due to his inability to talk.

2. Works well under pressure.

3. Versatile magic if used creatively.

Three Weaknesses:

1. Mute - self explanatory.

2. Frequent panic attacks at the sight of trees.

3. Lacks courage in any sense due to his past traumatic experience.

Greatest Love:
Chainsaws

Motivation:
To find and kill "The Spook" or at least to give him the same hell Isaac had endured. The only problem being he doesn't remember "The Spook's" features.

Additional Details:

"Do you like the undead? No? ...Die."
Age:
17

Magic:

Arc of Undeath

A lost magic which is remembered by a select few for being nightmarish and revolting.
Through both covert and cruel methods, Aedius was able to learn this form of magic. It provides absolute control of the dead, and undeath. It does not involve souls, but does involve bodies of those which are already dead, and in cases where there are no bodies it allows the conjuration of lesser undead such as skeletons. The undead he summons can use magic, but only basic elemental magic is usable.

This magic has the added 'side-effect' of rendering the user in an almost deathlike state, where their body parts can be dismembered, but can eventually reform so as long as the targeted body part still exists. This reforming process is sped up if the dismembered limb is placed directly where the cut was made, and pain is still felt from injuries sustained. Completely destroying his torso and head is enough to prevent this from happening. Witnessing his survival with these injuries and his ability to reform is obviously disturbing, so he purposefully beheads himself to scare people who have no idea what his magic does.
He has in fact beheaded himself enough times to the point where it does not hurt as much as cutting off other body parts.

The magic's strength comes from the fact that undead are easy to re-summon, and the magic itself is rather versatile when regarding said undead. The most logical point of action would be to target Aedius, taking his head - as he tends to fight alongside his summons.

Magic Level:
Aedius can be assumed to be powerful, as he holds the title of one of the Ragged Brotherhood's Twin Enforcers , the equivalent of a commander.
History:
'On a faraway island, lies a great monastery which covets and protects something sacred. House Darkwater.
This is their love, and this is their curse.'

The House of Darkwater was a family of perfection, mastery and destruction. Each member is to master a specific form of magic within a set period of time This is decided by standing stones in the courtyard, which glow in different colours and intensities to decide what form of magic is to be learned. In order to 'encourage' members to learn faster, many are subjected to a punishment known as Temperament, where the member in question would be sealed inside of a magical prison, forced to sit still and endure a variety of arcane shocks from the feet, all the way to the head for varying amounts of time. Furthermore, failure to successfully master the magic in question would result in exile, regardless of whether the magic was mastered later in life or not.

Aedius was a family member in the House of Darkwater. He was tasked with mastery of the Arc of Undeath within a span of three years. He was 10 years old when his training finally began. Aedius understood most of what he learned quite easily, but Aedius himself was slow at performing these spells at an adequate level to be considered mastery, and it was impossible for Aedius to replicate all the spells he read about on the first try. Because of this, Aedius was subjected to Temperament often, rumours claimed that he had been tempered every two months. This continuous Temperament made Aedius much faster when it came to working, but it simply was not fast enough, hence he was constantly being tempered regardless.

He was unaware of the consequences of failing to master Arc of Undeath.

At 13 years of age, had not yet fully mastered Living Magic, and was thus disowned and exiled, but not before being tempered several more times in a row. This enraged Aedius himself, he had only needed to learn a few more spells for him to be recognized as master by Darkwater standards. But there was never an exception to the standing stones' rule, and thus Aedius was subsequently thrown out of the House of Darkwater, never to be allowed to return, or he would run the risk of being killed. Being exiled at a young age, he now lacked the necessary parental figures to provide guidance, and was now able to do as he pleased. Despite this, he kept his composure and remained calm enough to locate somewhere else to live. Taking a nearby boat provided by House Darkwater, he sailed across the sea until he reached land.

He travelled for a long time, reaching Fiore, where he encountered a man dressed in strange, tattered robes. He was the first person who spoke to Aedius since his leave, and Aedius found him to be strange. He revealed himself to be a scout, recruiting people into the Ragged Brotherhood, he said that Aedius would have a place to stay, and resources to use. Aedius did have nothing at the moment, hence all of these things sounded excellent to him. He followed the scout to the Ragged Brotherhood's main base of operations, where it was plain to see that there were not many members at the time, and the clan was extremely close-knit and small. Aedius was introduced to The First, who accepted him as a member with open arms. Not feeling acceptance in a long time, Aedius swore to serve The First, and fulfill his motives and goals.

Several years had passed since then, and Aedius had improved his Arc of Undeath magic, and had attained the rank of Twin Enforcer. The Ragged Brotherhood's size had grown to the equivalent of multiple guilds, with Aedius apart of this, apart of a family.

A family which planned to bring about a new age of unity.

Personality:
For the most part, Aedius is dangerous due to his drive and loyalty. He follows the orders of the Ragged Brotherhood, and dislikes it when people get in the way of this. His magic gives him a reason to kill, and Aedius has been merciless like this in the past, killing to further his own powers - even if temporary. He has a callous disregard for people who aren't in the Ragged Brotherhood, and would not go out of his way to help these people, unless they happen to share a love of necromancy as he does - in which case he becomes much nicer towards that person. Oftentimes, he will ask his adversaries "Do you like the undead?" Which is essentially the equivalent of saying
"Should I show mercy or not?"

Despite these traits, Aedius is extremely calm and laid back when around fellow members of the brotherhood - a direct contrast to how he is when against another mage he does not like. Members of the Ragged Brotherhood tend to like Aedius

Team Members:
More often that than not, Aedius will travel and team up with his fellow Twin Enforcer, .
But will also travel with anyone who is a member of the Ragged Brotherhood; should he have to travel with someone other than an Enforcer.

Three FOUR Strengths:
1. Near immunity to dismemberment.

2. Summoned units.

3. Hand-to-hand combatant

4. He makes jokes on the occasion. Sometimes bad or disgustingly unfunny ones, but they're still jokes.

Three Weaknesses:
1. Destroy his head = Destroy Aedius.

2. Focus on him rather than the undead around him.

3. He shows mercy to those who share the same views as he does. Try befriending him.

Greatest Love:
Nothing.
Although he does take a liking to anyone who shares a love of necromancy.

Motivation:
To fulfill the motives and goals of the Ragged Brotherhood.

Additional Details:
He has his own unique laugh: S-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s
His weapon of choice is a katana, which he was given at a later date.

Posting SilverDawn's app, since she's not here. (And is a lazy bum lel)

Magic:

The Sigil of the Beast
The Sigil of the Beast is a more like a curse, and not like a magic. The cursed one is powerful; they have faster reactions, stronger muscles, but in turn, they trade their humanity and sanity for this power. As they sacrifice their power, a mutation may happen. This mutation causes the cursed one to become a monster. Their flesh rots away, their muscles swell, their bones break upon themselves to rebuilt until what is left is a shell of their former self. They become a killing machine, murdering those around them, without any remorse. The bearers of the curse are constantly tormented by another voice. The voice is constantly telling them to sacrifice their humanity for murder. Most of the bearers of the curse die before they reach the age of 8, due to complications.
Magic Level:
Unknown due to the Ragged Brotherhood being unranked.
History:
Arkya never knew her parents. All she remembers from her childhood was the orphanage. The orphanage was a strange place. It was in the middle of a forest, so it was generally unpopulated. Arkya had many friends there, but they would constantly be "adopted" by parents. Usually, every week 2 children were adopted. Every night, there were screams that were barely audible. Children were told that it was just in their head, but that was not the case. Arkya was adopted, too. She remembers being brought to a building that was underground, and seeing another girl. The girl was covered in blood and tears while holding an axe, and there was blood all over the floor. Around the walls were adults in masks. Arkya had no idea what was going on, so she looked back to the girl. The girl charged Arkya, and slammed her head with the blunt side of the axe. As soon as Arkya was struck, she fell to the ground, and something within her awakened. Arkya blacked out.

When she had awoken, the orphanage, the underground building, and all of the trees around her were destroyed. She had no clue what had happened, so she roamed the forest. A voice kept on haunting her to reduce everything to ashes, but she ignored the voices. A caravan of merchants had spotted her, and she had been taken to the nearest town. After being truly adopted, she had grown until the age of 13, and then she had run away to figure out what happened to the orphanage, and why this voice haunted her.

After roaming for 10 years, she had met a group of people known as "The Ragged Brotherhood", and had joined their group. She became known for her ability to fight with knives, even against mages. She fought and fought, while slowly uncovering things about her curse, but she didn't know enough.
Personality:
Arkya is an adamant, and seasoned fighter. She is quick to anger, and resorts to violence more often than not. She is considered as a realist, but also very cruel. She puts her own agenda above that of teammates, but the rest of the Ragged Brotherhood seems to trust her.
Team Members:
Generally, she works with other members of the Ragged Brotherhood.
Three Strengths:
1. Extremely good at fighting with her two knives.
2. Runs pretty fast.
3. Isn't really affected by temperature.
Three Weaknesses:
1. Doesn't have any real magic.
2. Ability to fight well depends on terrain.
3. Not friendly at all.
Greatest Love:
Fighting, currently
Motivation:
To learn about her curse.
Appearance:

Additional Details:
Her only weapons that she likes to carry with her are her twin knives, as pictured above.
