if it means anything its because I cant stand the backlash of something being blown up. like the capital building for example which not only destroyed a big symbol of authority (good) but which probably ended up hurting or killing innocents in the process (very very bad >:( ))

besides just because were terrorists to everyone else doesn't mean we think ourselves as terrorists. we aren't insane enough to destroy buildings when we just got a bunch of guns to rally our cause.

I could get all hell firey passionate about what it means to own a character and I held myself back here. Please don't take this as an attack, this is how I feel about what it means to own a character.

You can ask Superfly or Azathoth (members of a RP I was in before the old guild self destructed), I play a pretty goddamn mean villain ^^;

Does that mean that IRL I go around chopping off limbs, slaughtering villages, and blowing up buildings? No.

But that was my character's role. He was the 'Big Bad'. Sure, there were moments in the RP where others would comment that they actually felt sorry for my character since he had such a dejected past but overall, my character was a homicidal maniac beyond redemption. Jeremiah 'Stonewall' Knox had no reservations when it came to generally fucking shit up, and in the end, the RP was so good that we all still keep in touch to this day. One of the reasons the RP was so fun though, and we all agree, is that I truly played a villain in that RP. I held back no punches and I think I even chopped off another player's arm in that RP (Though I don't remember for sure so don't quote me on that particular detail).

So I played the part. Same thing in this RP. I knew I was going to do a chaotic neutral/evil character so I let him make some morally ambiguous choices that I would never even consider in real life.

Likewise. I played a serial killer doctor who had no qualms about doing experiments on live humans, to the point of brutal torture and murder, because he wanted to understand what the concept of pain was. Outside of that, he was a relatively sophisticated individual by post apocalyptic setting standards, but was very much not me.

Likewise, Athos, Flamelord, I've played a bisexual harem-owning cult leader that twisted the word of 'god' to kill hundreds of innocents that were seen as demons. Yeah. Fucked up! I'm actually still friends with two others from the rp I played as that antagonist with because we enjoyed each other and respected our abilities to rp so well. But if there's anything I've learned, being the antagonist is sooooo fun. Not because they're twisted necessarily but because typically their personalities are so outlandishly different from your own that you get a new perspective on your own outlook.

Jangel, You're missing out on a golden opportunity if you ask me. Order for hot girls to make out in front of you at gun point. Saw off a mans leg. Blow shit up. OWN the antagonist!

You know, with all the free steak and iced-tea, I'm wondering why the Librarians have such hatred for the government. It's not like they're starving or anything....

if I could I would just kill athos for getting into the business of destroying the ultimatum without my permission but I cant. I am not meant to be the villain that's windel job as the ultimatum along with his creepy as hell jester. I like to think its like a resistance, a rebellion, a group that wants to change the evil power for better. my character has honor damn it and he will not be the scum that takes over for scum

You could base yourself off your character, meaning the terms "we" would be correct. You can't just assume a character is all made up, most the time the player wants to put a little of him or herself into the character. In real life Jangel might hate it when innocent people get hurt and this is an aspect he gave his character his well. When giving your character aspects of yourself it makes it easier to play your character. So everybody should stop jumping the gun a concluding Jangel is talking about himself.

Besides, another thing I don't get is why is everybody jumping the Librarians? We are playing our role in this RP. we aren't jumping you all because of your role in the game. I say Jangel, Viper and I are doing a good job playing our roll in the game and you can't get mad at us for not playing the same roll as you. With out us the RP wouldn't keep going unless Windel made NPCs for the roles of the Librarians. and that would most likely cause a lot of stress on him or her and then the RP would die because of the IC not getting enough posts. Meaning there is a 50% chance we are the reason this RP is still going.

I'm not trying to make it sound like I know it all I'm just trying to get my point across. I'm sorry if I made anybody think that I know it all, also I want to say everybody is doing a very good job at playing there characters so there is no need to tell them they are not doing a good job. Besides, you don't know how the character should be played, only the person that made the character knows. For example Angelo may appeal to everybody as a dick but maybe that's not actually how he is played. Just keep that in mind.

And Jangle I said that we take him to the tunnels under the hideout, they go all over the city meaning we could be in a different set of tunnels. I said we took him to the tunnels because I'm trying to get Viper to take notice of what we're doing and have him get back into the game.

and we never said we were starving, and every time I get tea it's not like I'm drinking 5 gallons of it. I'm drinking a cup. So if we are running out of food we could just be rationing everything we use/ eat. Like the tea I'm not finishing
