Jeff smiled wide as Kennedy handed him her last cigarette, happily taking the cancer stick and lighting it with a match he found in his pocket, taking a deep inhale as he breathed the smoke out of his nostrils. When she winked and said how there was no more for either of them he merely shrugged and said "Ya know me Kenn, I got ways of getting things that are bad for me."

He sat back and listened as Kennedy laid out the news about the guard, hehe, that was fun setting him straight. She then went on about a new contract with a shopkeeper. He hid a small sigh as he began to think to himself. Really? A shopkeeper? Come on when are we gonna get something a little more exciting? We are a lot more skilled than to deal with guards and robbers. He was always itching for action, something big that would really put the Knights name in the history books. He knew how great they were... shouldnt everybody get to know? Ah well. He crossed his arms and dragged on the last of the cigarette before chuckling about the 'hot date' joke. "Well I will have to leave a few broken hearts but anything for you Kennedy dear" he said with a sly wink and dropping the cigarette bud on the ground and smashing it with a heel.

"Maybe set a meeting in Shantytown, that way I don't have to break my arm riding the skylines getting here. I swear I'm going to need a Handyman suit because of you." Leroy laughed some as he joked with his leader, grabbing the bottle she slid him though he left it unopened. His attention was then grabbed by his fellow knight Jeff. "Well maybe you should head down to Shantytown sometime. I can't exactly take a stroll down Battleship bay like some of us here." He smirked some as he sat back in his chair, tossing his bottle from hand to hand. He watched and listened to Kennedy as she went through the briefing. A smirk escaped his lips as she brought the corrupt cop they dealt with. "Think his nose is still broke? Cause I still have some his blood on my boot." He laughed some before returning his attention back to the knight's leader. A slight smile came to his face as she revealed that they had a stake out for tonight, he always enjoyed the rush he got form being on the job. "Oh, no date I can't reschedule. You know how the women love the dark mysterious type." He smirked again before setting down the still unopened bottle of beer and pulled his mask up again. He stood up from his chair and cracked his back, the noise being sickeningly loud.

James grinned. "Thank you Mister!" he exclaimed. He could already feel the conditioning making him feel like Jon was his big daddy but he tried to shake it off. "If you don't mind me asking. How are we going to get out?" He asked curiously. As far as he knew the only way was those weird spheres that his family came down in, Ugh. James' father. He hated that man with a passion. You wouldn't think a child is capable of this kind of hate but he is. Ever since his father betrayed him and gave him away for mere money. His father was the sole reason he was turned into this...this thing. This disgusting creature with a slimy slug in it's stomach. The reason his skin is now grey, his eyes yellow, and his voice, terrifying. Sometimes he couldn't stand to hear himself speak. The horrible and scary voice wasn't his. James hoped his new daddy wouldn't betray him like that.

Jonathan smiled as the boy thanked him "well you remember when I told ya I was a part of some other experiments? Well I can do this" he said as he opened a tear around the size of a soccer ball looking out on what looked like Paris but rather than everything being written in French all was written in Russian. Jonathan then proceeded to shut the tear and get into his normal stance "think your up for some inter dimensional jail break?" He asked James not waiting for an answer as he opened the door and looked up and down the hall seeing nothing. "When you have your stuff together meet my outside the door" he said walking out the door quietly and closeting it behind him. He opens up another small eye hole tear to Columbia just to check how far they had travelled. He was so close to the alley he was aiming to get to he now only needed to get down the hall then him and James would be home free.

Clarence walks slowly towards the buildings, deducing these would be the most logical places to hide. He stayed in the shadows as best he could, peeking in a few windows. He followed the sidewalk, almost ready to give up and have the rest of the department do a search when a spark of electricity caught his eye. A smirk appeared on his face as he raised his pistol in a defensive position. He approached cautiously, trying to assess the situation. Either he was stumbling onto a burglary in progress or the hideout of the murderer. He opened the door slowly, sliding into cover as he listened. There was a group inside, consisting of about- That's when Clarence spotted him. The Dreaded Crow, unfortunately with his mask still on. Clarence couldn't let him escape, as he was in the top 5 most wanted. It sounded like they were talking about a.. stake-out? Unless it was simply part of another crime. Clarence recognized a few faces, but he could not place names with them. He had to act now, whether that was arresting them now or following them. Time seemed to slow as his mind reeled, considering his options. If he waited to act, The Dreaded Crow might slip through his fingers once more; however, he could stop them all in whatever they were planning. On the other hand, he could act now and guarantee an arrest.. Unless the others fought back for the freedom of their comrade. They didn't about 75% of the time, but would this be the time that they did? He readied Return to Sender in his left hand, before stepping out of the shadows, his gun raised. "Everybody freeze!" He knew he should have brought along the shotgun, the pistol not feeling adequate for this situation. But he had made his choice, and would face the benefits or the consequences. He wasn't concerned about the others, only Him. He kept the pistol aimed at the masked mans skull. Anyone that had to hide behind a mask was up to no good, that was a fact. He waited to see their response, waiting to see if he had made the correct choice.

Before much movement could be made, Jeffery heard the shout of what sounded like an officer. He slowly turned around to see a cop (surprise surprise) pointing a pistol at ol' Leroy. Ah damn, and just when I thought this would be a quiet day. thought Jeff as he slowly walked over to Leroy. He didnt stop walking until he was in front of his comrade and in the way of the pointing pistol. "Now Now, what seems to be the problem officer? Do you raise a gun on groups having a meeting normally like this?" he said nonchalantly, sticking his thumbs into his pockets as he looked at the officer dead in the eyes.

He didnt want any fighting going down with this guy, merely because he just didnt think it was worth having the effort to do so, but in case the cop had any ideas of taking any of his comrades, he had a nice dose of Bucking Bronco at any given moment for the guy.

Leroy was about to sit back down from his stretching when a new voice boomed into the room. "Everybody freeze!" Words Leroy has come all too use to hearing over the years, rang through the room. He raised his hands in a surrendering gesture as he slowly turned to face where the voice came from. "Why do they always point the gun at the guy in the mask first? It seems rather unfair to me." Leroy complained as he eyed the man that seemed to be a officer. He was about to continue, but Jeff strolled his way in front of him before he could. I've got to hand it to the guy he's pretty ballsy, even though he's a chatter box. Leroy thought to himself, concealing a smirk under his mask. Leroy then used his new found cover, Jeff, to move his left hand to his side and started to ready his Charge vigor. He eyed the door a few feet in front of him, just behind the officer, as he planed his escape rout.

A lighthearted laugh escaped Kennedy as her comrades joked. It was going to be a good night for a stake-out. She looked at Dan as he asked about the shopkeep,"Little old man, his name is Oscar. Owns the grocery here up the way." Just as she turned to mess some more with the boys, a man appeared with a gun pointed straight at Leroy. "Everybody freeze!" Kennedy tensed up, the guy coming out of nowhere with guns blazing. She stood perfectly still, letting her eyes gaze back and forth between each of her buddies and the intruder.

And then Jefferey did what he does best... he talked. Walking across the room to stand in front of Leroy, all the while schmoozing the cop with his words. Kennedy didn't know whether to be glad or mad at his actions, but it seemed to be working for now. She slowly reached her right hand down, grabbing the Hand Cannon that sat on a shelf under the counter she stood at. She tucked the weapon in the back of her skirt and then moved around the front of the counter.

Kennedy took a few steps forward, eyeing the cop. "Look mister, didn't your momma teach you not to go pointing that thing at people?" With a raised eyebrow, she crossed her arms. She hadn't planned on dealing with the cops today, and she certainly didn't feel like tying one up. But, you gotta do what you gotta do... She kept her eyes on the cop, who still hadn't lowered his weapon.

They were right, he acted rashly but he had made the choice and accepted that. He knew he couldn't risk taking his aim away from Leeroy, letting down his guard, as doing so would give the man a chance to escape. "There's been a murder in Shantytown, and trail of blood led me here, then I find you lot trespassing, and then I find him! You know who that is?" He motions at Leeroy. "A murderer, and one of the most wanted people in Columbia! That's more than enough to take you all in for questioning." He watched the others moments closely, notices how the talking man became a meat shield for the DC. They knew he couldn't risk hitting civilians, and they were going to use that to their advantage. At least one, if not all, would be armed with a gun, and all with vigors. Devils Kiss and Possession were the two he was most worried about. The way the woman approached, made Clarence believe she only had access to a melee weapon. Taking a slight step back, he spoke again. "I could care less about the fact you all are trespassing. You can finish the meeting for all I care, but he is coming with me." He brain scanned the room around him, going through every possible cover, makeshift weapon, and advantage point. The two would most likely attempt to distract him by any means to allow their comrade to escape. He started to walk forward, and spoke to the Jeffery. "Move aside." He glanced over at the woman, watching to make sure she didn't make move.

Jeffery raised an eyebrow at the mention of a murder, was that what people were acting troubled about? He honestly didnt poke his nose much into the affairs of those who dont contract he and his group, so he was interested to hear such a thing had occurred. His gaze shifted over to Kennedy as she went in front of the counter, knowing her she had her pistol or hand cannon hidden and ready to use if necessary. His gaze had gone from nonchalant to serious as the officer advanced forward however, but his body remained relaxed. If anything his adoptive father taught him, never be tense in a situation. He crossed his arms and looked long and hard at the cop, daring him to move again. "Look pal, I am certain you are just doing your job and such, well we have a job as well. Now, I dont expect you to give us the option of explaining our job and frankly, none of us really want to. Im sure you were told about the horrors that is the Dreaded Crow, but do you know why he became who he is? Do you? No of course not. So Im gonna ask you nicely... once. Leave, and we will go on with our own lives without any mention of you. But if you take another step, you'll get to meet my not so friendly side. Your choice."

Damn, why can't they ever make things simple for once? Leroy thought to himself as the officer made no sign of lowering his weapon. He then watched from the corner of his eye, making sure not to draw attention to her, as Kennedy clamed the Hand Cannon he knew she kept stashed in the counter. He quickly pulled his gaze back to the officer, looking for anyway to take him out quickly but finding none that wouldn't end with someone dead. "Murder? Sh** I was hoping I had a few more hours before word spread.." He mumbled to himself in a low tone. He was more up set with the fact that it was actually linked back to him so quickly than that it was discovered at all really. These guys are crazy. Sticking up for my sloppy work. He thought as his friends were already arming themselves in secret, though a small smile formed under his mask. But he quickly pulled his mind back from his warm thoughts and refocused on the man in front of him. Okay let's take control shall we. he thought as he eased a hand onto Jeff's shoulder, slightly pushing to indicate him to move. "What murder sir, who was the victim exactly, where there any witnesses to said crime, did anyone claim to see a masked man, and how do you know that I'm this so called Dreaded Crow?" Leroy said in a surprisingly smooth yet cold voice. All the while his left hand, still slightly behind his back was building up his Charge vigor. He knew if he could move Jeff enough that he use the Charge to get clean out the door and that the officer would chase after him, giving the others time to scatter, but he held off for a moment to see how things will play out.

Clarence would recognize that mask anywhere, but the man could worm his way out of anything he said, being able to deny everything. Clarence has dealt with people like this, those who trained themselves to be able to stay calm in situations like this. Those that have lied and cheated their way out everything imaginable. But it's hard to lie when there's evidence on your person. "Show me the bottom of your shoes." The man was acting too calmly for an innocent man being accused of murder and of being the Dreaded Crow. This was a long shot, but if the blood was there, dried or not, that would be enough. Clarence turned his head, quickly glancing at the woman once more.

Daniel shifted on his feet, all the while he had been spaced from the group a bit, enough to get behind the police officer. Whenever needed, he would easily help out by banging on the man's head from behind. But, he would restrain himself until told to do so. For now, waiting with baited breath would have to do for the young man, as he clenched his fists. It was quite the accusation, but...Leroy had been known to get into trouble now and then. Not that Dan wouldn't defend him for, heck, Daniel had amounted into getting into quite the jam when he was found trespassing near the firework set up one year for the raffle.

Still remaining deathly silent, he sent a look to the other Knights, letting them know of his current position. As much as he wanted to participate in the conversation, he had a strange feeling in his gut that something was going to go horribly wrong as soon as Leroy lifted his shoe.

My shoes? Why the hell does he want to see my sho.. Damn it! I stepped on that bastard didn't I? Leroy came to the realization of what the officer was getting at and what had most likely lead him here, though he didn't show it on his face he knew that he was royally screwed. He shifted his right foot very slightly, recalling which foot he used to step on the body, which was most likely rotting in a body bag as he spoke. Rookie mistake Leroy. You never let your emotions compromise a job. He thought to himself before scanning over the room again to take a gage of the situation. We could take this guy out. No, a dead Crow is one thing, but this officer is only doing his job. He shook his head slightly before stepping from behind Jeff, ending up beside him. "I don't really know why you want to admire my foot wear, but very well sir." He said in the same calm, cold voice. He lifted up his left foot, keeping his right one planted firmly planted on the floor, revealing a clean shoe with a crow engraved on the soul. "Tailored it myself." He said with a slight smirk in his tone. As he talked his left hand, now fully behind his back, gave of a slight pale glow of his now fully prepared Charge. "I could tailor you a pair if you like sir." He said as he lowered his foot. All I have to do is get past him and I'm home free. He thought as he gave a look to each of his brothers and sister in arms hoping they'd get what he was planning, seeing as he done this escape trick with them before.

Kennedy had an unimpressed expression on her face as the cop proceeded to accuse and blame Leroy of murder. She didn't seem to mind though. Hell, for all she knew, if he had killed someone, it was probably some scumbag who deserved it. Her eyes gave a roll and she let out an annoyed huff. She noticed the cop kept eyeing her, shooting his glance her way.

"Look buddy, you got a staring problem? Don't wait for me to take it off, you'll have go down to the whore house for that." Her patience had run thin by this point, and she was slightly irritated with the cop man. When he asked to see Leroy's shoes, she laughed a little. "Yeah, that's definitely damning evidence..." She mumbled.

Kennedy watched as Leroy stepped forward, showing his left shoe, which was clean and clear of anything incriminating. When he looked her way, she gave the slightest nod, placing a hand on her hip, her finger grazing the gun that was positioned in the small of her back. She was ready to move at any moment, but her body was still relaxed. She caught Daniel's gaze as he tread lightly behind the cop in the doorway. There was no way this suit is going to get out of this with an advantage on any of them.

"Alright sir, if you're done undressing me with your eyes and harassing my friend here, I've got places to go and people to see." She placed her other hand on her hip as well and tapped her foot.

Hehe, Jeff loved it when Kennedy acted this way, all that attitude. Just goes to show a pretty face isnt always what it seems on the outside, thats what he respected about her a lot. Jeff uncrossed his arms and stuck his thumbs in his pocket, a small smirk on his face as it became more and more relevant that the cop was on the losing side. As if it were even a question. "Come on buddy, we are all simple folk here, make our own shoes, do our own work, hell, i even paid a tax or two today, so lets just call it quits for tonight whattaya say? If I were you, I wouldnt keep the Ms. waitin, trust me on that."

"You're not going anywhere, not yet. You," He motioned to Jeffery, "Quiet." He looked over his shoulder at the woman, before returning to looking at the man. "The other foot, if you don't mind." He didn't want trouble with the others, as he didn't want to become the publics enemy. The others in the room either thought he was insane, or stupid, but if there was evidence, that was where it would be. If the man made a move to run, Clarence would fire his gun and hopefully hit. Comstock and his partners wouldn't be happy if this was the Dreaded Crow and he escaped. He shifted uncomfortably, beginning to doubt his actions. Why were these people meeting? He liked the woman's spunk, but he was afraid that, excluding the suspect himself, she was the most likely to attack. Then again, he knew nothing about her. He felt the overcoat blow lightly, a draft coming from somewhere. This was the deciding moment. Would the man cooperate, attack, run? Clarence's mind began to run through every possibility, or as many as he could, trying to ready himself for anything.

For Songbird's sake you prick just budge! Leroy yelled in his head as the officer still refused to unblock the doorway. He could just unleash his Charge and blow through the man, but he didn't know how well the officer could take the hit. I can't have this guy getting to hurt that he can't chase after me. Leroy thought as he took another step forward. "Of course sir, but first who was the victim of the murder? I ask because I have a lot of friends in Shantytown you see. I'd hate to see one of them hurt by this brutal crim." He said in his calm voice, though he had to bite back a laugh. Just take a step back. Leroy thought and raised a brow at the man. He just have to let the officer get a bit more off balance so he can burst past him.

Clarence grimaced, not wanting to admit who the victim was. He wasn't find of them, but a murder was a murder. He knew the man was stalling, looking for an opportunity to make an escape... Or letting his friends get the jump on him. Clarence's eyes darted to the woman and Jeffery, their simple presence setting him on edge. "I can't disclose a name... But they were a member of the Fraternal Order of the Crow." He had to get the woman in front of him again. Knowing this, he took a few steps back to get a tactical advantage.

Jeffery gave a sigh of slight impatience. Why were cops so dang annoying? Leroy had to get out of here, but the guy wouldnt budge... however... Jeff thought of a plan that could provide enough distraction to get Leroy out of here and the others a chance to scatter, but until he could devise the full plan he would have to let Leroy in on it, so he decided to start off with what he did best. Talking. "So you say you cannot disclose a name yet you can disclose what organization he was affiliated with? How exactly could someone be able to tell you what happened if you cant say the name of the victim? What if, now this is just sayin', he was dear friends with this victim? Would you keep his worryin soul wonderin' if it really was someone he knew? That just dont seem right to me now"

At this point, Jeff laced his fingers and brought them up behind his head nonchalantly, turning around to look like he was stretching, and when his face was hidden from the cop he quickly whispered to Leroy, "I got the Bronco, be ready to scram." Then, without warning, Jeff shot back around and thrusted his hand toward the cop, feeling the energy of the Bucking Bronco leave his body and sending out a shockwave toward the cop that suspended everything within its reach high into the air. "Scatter!!" yelled Jeff, making sure that everyone would be gone before he himself left. He always made sure that he was the last to leave, that way he wouldnt have to worry others left behind.
