it might be a bit pepper. lol we've only had three posts in the pm so far. And that's just France hosting, and mine/boerds opening thoughts. Gonna give the others a bit of tomorrow to post and if they don't we will motion to move onto the actual talks. :)

Edit: Just saw thor's post. Umm...Thor...you do know that Brazil is the one threatening Britain right? They are essentially saying they will attack us if we move against Dutch colonies. That's in addition to all the slander being offered by Brazil in the past ICly. Honestly, I could declare war right now on brazil for their decision to protect dutch colonies but we won't.

Edit to avoid double post: Peace talks have moved on to round three. The Allies have presented our offer and the 8th will present their counteroffer. Debate prolly incoming but I"m hoping for peaceful resolution in this. If the counteroffer is not to the allies liking we will offer a counter-counter offer. Such will continue until it is decided whether peace is possible at this time.

Or until negotiations break down as a result of the war update... Just sayin'

Well..Outcast said his computer is still down last I talked with him yesterday. So it might be awhile. That said, I'm almost of the impression that if the war update happened it would speed along negotiations as I feel that this war update is kind of a make or break situation.

I haven't sent in my war orders. Outcast said I could after he okay'd my declaration of war, but I didn't because by then his computer had crapped out. Plus now we're talking peace.

My guess though, is that he'll give us a chance to send them in once his computer is fixed.

@Pepper, It was my understand that Ampharos had already sent in orders for this year? No matter.

That said, all Orders should be set in stone I think unless peace is achieved simply because the deadline has already passed.

Once more though...that's up to Outcast. If you are allowed to do war orders, Pepper..would you mind out of a sense of fairness just use them for 'peaceful war orders?' By that I mean just like...raise troops, train troops type stuff? Its fine if not, but I just think it is a valid request.

It would be convenient yes, but considering that Ampharos told us that he had sent in orders for that year. That we had assumed that Outcast's decision regarding the war veto would stand and then made our orders...I think it is valid request. Anyways, practically everyone in the war spent their first turns doing just that anyways.

Ampharos' orders are not my orders. Last I checked, I was the current Austria player. I know it'd be convenient for you for Ampharos' orders to go through this year, since they're probably not war orders and you need all the respite you can get, but the fact is, Ampharos left the RP and I took over.

I will do whatever Outcast says, but I'm guessing Ampharos' orders don't mean anything now that he has left.

EDIT: Especially since the deadline hadn't been reached when he sent them.

Ohh well it appears this long bloody war shall continue it seems. Even if you guys are able to go through ottoman lands a seige of Istanbul is damn near impossible and even if you manage to take it we control the Bosporus straight with the only land route into Ottoman lands being through the caucus mountains which will be a very very bloody campaign as we are the defenders.

I'm not as worried about Ampharos's orders. I'm merely asking that you do the fair thing and use those orders to boost your army and such rather than invade considering that this was a change of decision made by the GM AFTER the deadline.

This. We are still only in round three. Peace talks have yet to break down and it is my hope that they won't. Italy seems to have rejected our first offer, but now they need to do a counteroffer and we will see where it goes. Plus the other members of the coalition have yet to respond to it.

I think So Boerd and Nex are still doing RL things.

When I left and Maxwell took over as Otto's, my orders went through as they were submitted before deadline and Max joined after, so as far as I am aware, Amph's reg orders would go through, but you might want to check with Outcast about that too. Of course, whether you add war orders or not is up to Outcast, and I support whatever he decides fully, whether that is to allow or disallow. Just putting in my little piece of info to help the discussion along :)

I sent in my normal orders a long time ago (way before the deadline) and Outcast never said anything about not being able to.
