So, what should we do if we find any signs of civilization?

That's up to you, but until I introduce anything beside the forest and the plains, then that's all there is. The only exception being various animals (both peaceful and not-so-peaceful), water sources such as rivers, lakes, etc. Civilizations won't appear until I introduce them. If I ever do ;)

Sigh...I regret to inform you guys that I've discovered that, during the two hours I've spent trying to make up a post, that I've lost the spark for this RP. I'm so sorry for wasting your guy's time but I don't think I can continue with this RP. With all that's going on in my life that I can't really find the time or to stick with a lot of my RP's and now I've decided to skim them down. Again I'm sorry that I've wasted your guy's time but it is what it is I guess. Have fun, I'm absolutely sure you guys can make this RP amazing.

So pathfinder, just in case you do come lurking back. I for one, as a GM myself (since the days of WCIII: Frozen Throne, my clan LOTRP ftw.) I feel most of us would really appreciate the fact that you don't feel the drive to be here. I really don't feel it's personal life, I don't feel you "don't have enough time". The "Two hours" you spent making a post, wouldn't happen to be a CS for another roleplay would it?


Don't get me wrong. I'm not attacking you, I just feel in the future you should just be honest, nobody can be upset for that. We like what we like, but making a plethora of excuses just really isn't cool, and it's aggravating to those of us who are actually serious about this because it holds us up. All this time could have been spent looking for someone to fill your shoes.

P.S: I've been stalking your posts for about a five days, it's nothing personal, I just prefer honesty above all else.

I viewed people as waking up outside of the forest, on the grass with the trees to their right. Lily was just very close to it. You don't have to change it, however, as it could be a clearing close to the edge.. and they are 120 people after all, so a handful of them being the forest a few metres in isn't really all that far fetched. You don't have to edit anything, though I do suggest that he goes to the edge of the forest and sees the rest of "everyone" in the next post.

As for the RP itself now. Reap will be a bit delayed as she said herself, so we are free to skip her if we want. She'll get here in a few days, hopefully. So now... introductions are done. Now it's time for the real RP to start :)

Data I just want to point out Kapu agreed on letting your character have the gun, and 7 to 8 bullets.

Already have. I bumped up the Interest Check posts, as well as threw in a notice in the other RP I'm leading. Can't do much more than that outside of PM*ing people saying "WANNA JOIN MY RP?!" like some twelve year old schoolkid xD

Here an Idea: What if our character were just the 'first' pilgrimage? What if every so often a new 'herd' of people would wake up in the field?

Hoping it doesn't conflict with what you have planned, or maybe you already thought of that. But I was thinking way down the line, if we get a town set up, it could be a sort of 'holy' thing, like have a festival on the eve of the arrival of the new comers or something. Anyways, just thinking up ideas.

It's not really because it would break anything by spoiling this, so I may as well: Our group is only a small group of the total of Shifters transported. As of the moment people wake up, there are no more Shifters left on Earth. Everyone was transported to this new world, but there are many different groups. It's possible that you might meet others are some point... or what's left of their encampment? Who knows ;)

Ah, I see. I hope someday we find out the how and why. But I do like that it's kind of an open-ended thing, you can just 'create' as many 'shifters' / 'towns' you need story wise, because you never really specified anything, I appreciate that because I do the same thing in Deadland.

But thank you for enlightening us a little. I will let you know of any other ideas I have.

considering joining, in theory. Personally I would have thought that being in the Human world would be more interesting than dumped in some fantasy woodland, but its your RP.

If there are any pre-industrial civilizations beyond the woodlands, I can guarantee the Shifters are going to war with them.
