Woohoo! An updated and nearly-completed OOC! Props to whoever's been working so hard on it. Now that that's all established, it may be time to get around to discussing where we're starting off in the IC. Shon and I were thinking we'd do a semi-time-skip. Though, FreeFall, that means likely Cass and Sentinels won't encountered the...batty situation we had planned originally since I'm not introing them yet but I think with the GMs' permission, we might be able to make that happen later on. This time hauling the rest of them with us into hell, what do you think FF? :P

Something that I thought might be interesting to mention is that in a RP I'm in, a Star gate one called Tempest, the GM allows Players to create and lead what he calls Episodes (he's still involved with all the planning and detailing, working with the PC over it, but in essence they do most the work of planning the events and basic idea) which might be an interesting thing to do. While we all might not star in an Episode, for example a plotline Episode that might center around certain character's core stories, it doesn't mean it won't be fun to join in on the fun and play a small part. I can see the problems and what not that can imply with this so I understand if something like that won't work in this rp but figured it was work mentioning at least.

Oh don't worry, you're talking to people who definitely believe in user-created content. I have some branching ideas that would be well suited to reaching into anything y'all might come up with. In other words, we will undoubtedly accept ideas for any personal plots you all have in mind (perhaps share the details privately, premises free to share). Initially though, this introductory plot will give us all something to ride the current of creatively. Returning players may bring plots they'd planned out before, but let's be clear, all old ideas (including my slave arc) are apt to change and should fit the new context. We will have new blood, a few new events, and a system designed to add serious risk. Our old ideas will surely meld well to the new aspects, but just wanted to put that out there. After the intro plot we'll have a solid plan for dealing with subplots and how divergent stories might exist.

I'm still here, by the way. Like the new flavour you've added to the OP. Anyway, I wanted to ask if you've heard anything from Prom or no. I'd rather not have to shelf the storyline unless absolutely necessary.

Second, I won't be rejoining apoc, at least for awhile. It's just not something I'm interested in writing for right now. I hereby relinquish all control of all of my characters to others. Whoever needs to use them, you're welcome to write for them. I trust most of you enough to say that.

@Everyone: I will be updating the Character List tomorrow evening. Please, if you haven't already, get those Narrative ICs done or progressing. I'll see who all's left after I update it tomorrow and PM you to see if anything's holding you back. Once we get our solid, long-time members settled, we may open up to new blood. Delicious.

Best of luck to you, man. In the meantime I hope you don't mind if I shelf the Coltrane-Acacia story arc and revert Coltrane back to starting off in Chico, get some RP going off with the others.

Well, since the one apocalypse RP I joined went tits-up in about three days, I'd like to say I'm interested in joining this one. I would start on a CS right now, but I'm on my phone and typing up a bio with this phone would just be a pain in the ass.

That's cool, yo. Since it seems to be decided (by order of Shon) that we're going to keep what we had and time skip, we could just assume their little trip went to plan and everyone went on their merry little way. That way we won't have to mess with the timeline and mess up Shon being in his arc or me being in mine... until, of course, this major event that's going to be super crazy and stuff that they won't tell me what it is happens and most likely changes all sorts of my plans. But at least if we do it this way, if you ever want the Sentinels to come back they'll already have ties with the coolest characters (AKA Cassie and Simon... Abbie can come too).

Remmy will likely be back...whether or not he's with the Sentinel will remain to be seen. Mainly cause Firecracker and me have a few plans with Trake and Remmy that might end up dragging everyone into them later on. :p

Yeah, they fit under the Pirate Crew name. It's like this: all New Farmers (my characters + Abbie & Trake) are part of the Pirate Crew, but not all of the Pirate Crew (Cass and Simon) are the New Farmers.

Is Coltrane going to be in Chico? Stuff's going to happen soon that'll mean (mostly) everyone will want to leave Chico. I was thinking of having Winifred head up to Evergreen - or perhaps somewhere else - on a vengeance journey. If you want Coltrane to tag along, that'd be great. It wouldn't take much for Coltrane to end up teaming with Win (and maybe others?) on the trip, so it'll work out.

I'll send you a PM to let you know my idea.

As a random note: I just realized Cass and Simon are the only two remaining original Pirate Crew members; and Cass, Simon and Win are the only three remaining original characters. How far we've come.

Zombie, just read through the CS. It's good, and I saw nothing wrong with it. The length isn't really that much of a problem since it was written greatly. I'm sort of thinking now you're going to end up bringing Coltrane's brother into the mix sometime down the line. Plot twist, he survived and has been looking for Coltrane all these years!

And to everyone who was a part of the Church plot: would you all mind if we just dropped it? I don't think it'll end up fitting in with the rest of the IC, and, I'll admit, I've grown tired of that idea. Maybe not right now, but sometime in the future we could get back around to it? No matter what, Misty will end up becoming the new leader of Topeka, so there's always time to explore it.
