Nearly 70% of Data's body has been replaced with mechanical or computerized parts, including his right arm, both legs, most of his internal organs and half of his brain. Along with the increased durability of the metal over flesh, the experiments preformed on him grant him several abilities.
[Untapped Potential]
Data has dormant mana pathways, allowing him the potential to use fire magic, but due to a combination of the experiments done on him and a lack of training, he hasn't been able to unlock them yet.
Abilities:
Tech Savy: Having a mechanical body has taught Data how to repair himself and other machines, given time and quiet in which to work. His computer knowledge is almost unparalleled.
Interface: Data is unique among the ranks of Modified Humans in that he was given the ability to modify himself with objects he finds in the world. He has discovered that he can use not only mechanical devices, but also magical artifacts. This ability is not instant, as Data must essentially rewire his body to accept the new input, and rewrite his code to utilize it.
Self Applied: By interfacing with the objects he's found so far, he has gained several additional abilities.
Changeling - From a magic ring, Data gained the ability to change his appearance at will. He uses this to cover up the mechanical parts that show on his body. The effect is purely illusion, and while he can change his appearance into any humanoid form around his size, his voice, scent and actual physical form remain the same.
Shock Absorbent - From several separate sources, Data has cobbled together his own "Surge Protection", and when exposed to a certain amount of outside electrical energy, directs that energy and stores it in his backup power cells.
Transform - Spontaneously created after interfacing with many simple devices. His arm can be reformed into other shapes, most of which being tools of some kind, but also a shield and sword.
Overdrive/Overclock: Data's big ticket powers. These powers have more effect than the others, but steeper consequences. Overdrives are his physical powers, Overclocks are his mental ones.

Beyond the Limits
Data removes the limiters on his robotic limbs, enhancing his strength to about 5 times beyond what a human is capable of. Prolonged use of this overdrive can lead to systems malfunction.

Tempered Steel
Using the enhanced processor of the mechanical half of his mind and the dormant mana pathways in the human half, Data can channel mana through his robotic arm and coat it in fire. The longer he uses this ability, the more likely both his arm and processor will overheat, forcing him to shut down temporarily.
Weaknesses: Excessive Electricity (Enough to overcome his surge protection), Water and having no way to recharge his power cells.
Emergency Interface
If he has no other options, Data might attempt an "emergency interface" with any technology or artifact he can find. This basically consists of him opening his interface circuits and jamming the tech on, without taking the time to study or guide the circuits into their proper ports. While this method is fast enough to use in the middle of combat and might lead to an interface that he hadn't thought of, it is also even more dangerous than prolonging [Beyond the Limits], as it can cause permanent damage to some or even all of his systems, and in extreme cases simply shut them down and leave him to die.
Personality: Despite his mechanical nature, Data is a kind person. He tends to hide his true feelings behind an emotionless facade
Background: Data was an orphan at birth, his mother dying in childbirth and his father nowhere to be found. He was 'acquired' by a 'shadow lab' experimenting in human advancement, and was raised with the intent to modify him at age 18. He learned, lived and laughed with the other children there, all hand picked to be humanities "First step towards a better self". Most of the experiments were complete failures. Data was one of seven unqualified successes. After his rehabilitation into his new body, Data was released into the world for 'field testing', and closely monitored for two years. Now that he is finally free, he has chosen to take his own path, and after receiving a message from one of his old teachers, he knows that begins at Athalia.
Study: Anything and everything.
Other: Data carries around a large two handed sword, despite having one in his arm. Perhaps there is something special about it?
