Christopher Fox & Red Winston

Chris shivered at what Adam said. There is a number 10 in the school's power rankings? His power was considered an 8 and it was already enough to create havoc. What could a 10 do? At least it was reassuring that Adam knew about it, because, if he knew, then all of the Academy staff knew, too. That means that the person in question is at least watched and under control. Chris couldn't even imagine beating a 10 by repelling a screw to him. He actually didn't even think that he could beat a 10 with his full power. Adam had a point that rankings estimated the values of the meta-human ability only, but, on the other side, 10 is the only power class that is branded "powerful", reserved for God-knows what kind of abilities. What Chris wondered was why did Adam keep the identity of the 10 a secret? Maybe he didn't want stupid, arrogant morons to challenge the said 10 all the time. After all, there were people like the girl that challenged Adam before that wouldn't cut this mystery person some slack. Or maybe there was another reason. If Adam thought that he shouldn't tell, then it was probably for the best.

Chris didn't have any more questions for Adam. He should go change to his outfit. He headed to the locker room. His outfit was brand new, but with the same modificiations it had twelve years ago. Chris' outfit had a moderate temperature stabilizer so that minor changes in temperature wouldn't affect his powers. Every magnet would affected by temperature, even a human one. Of course, this wouldn't prove useful against people who could cause rapid changes in temperature, like ice or fire manipulators, but it was still good enough against weather conditions. There was a protective plate in place of it's one sleeve, probably so that his body wouldn't be exposed because of his missing arm. Suited up, he was about to leave, when he heard some mumbo jumbo from one of the toilets, which was followed by a "Bump" sound. He headed to the toilets, where he saw someone lying there from under the door. He couldn't open the door since it was locked, so he used his powers to unlock it. Magnetizing the metal parts of a lock was a minor feat, so he could still do it. He opened the door, where he found a kid lying on the floor, sweating and gasping.

"Hey kid? Are you okay? What the hell am I saying, obviously you are not!" he said and used his sole arm to pick him from the ground.

Red grasped Chris' hand and mustered all of his power to stand up. He leaned against a wall to stay on his feet.

"Water...I need water" Red said, panting.

Chris helped Red get to the sinks, where the latter once again pour water on his face and drank some water as well. After a few minutes of silence, Red felt better and was at last able to stand on his own two feet by himself, although still a bit dizzy. He thanked the stranger who helped him and introduced himself, while Chris did the same. When the introductions were over, Chris said:

"You should visit the infirmary, kid. I don't think you should take on the excitement of the Power Training in your condition. It is best to get some rest."

Red knew that Chris had a point, but it was vital for him to attend the Power Training so he could find more about the other students. He needed the information to find the allies he was seeking.

"No doctors...Take me to Deborah. She should be able to tell me what is going on." he replied.

Red described Deborah and Chris helped Red walk back to the main Hall. Red told him to let him walk on his own in the main Hall, since it could cause trouble if someone saw that he was in a bad state, although he was pale, only now starting to regain his color. After a small search, they located Deborah, along with another girl. They both approached them and Chris said:

"This kid was white as a ghost when I found him. He said that you could help him."

"Something happened Deborah. My power can't function properly. I need you to tell me what is going on!" Red completed Chris' sentence.

Victoria LaRouse

"Oui, it's totally correct, mon ami!" Victoria said to Henry's French language attempt.

She was incredibly happy when Henry would try speaking French, it felt like he cared about her, which gave her a reassuring and pleasant feeling. She caressed Henry's cheek as a thank-you sign. It was saddening that Henry's lizard traits were permanent. It was a colossal obstacle for Victoria's affection for Henry, not because she was disgusted by his looks, but because she didn't know if Henry was attracted to human women at all. Of course, she never thought about asking him, in case he would feel offended from the question. Apart from that, she didn't care about others would say or how it would look. Henry was more human than most humans she met and most people would not be able to cope with the power Henry had, but he was able to smile everyday in the Academy, something that Victoria more than respected. Actually, she would be ready to smack a kick to anyone who would talk about their relationship, if it existed. It was enough that Henry would value her as a friend and that he called her Vicky. There weren't many people who Victoria allowed to call her like that. Valjean called her Vicky once and he got a kick in his face. Of course, it ended up in a mess with Victoria on the losing side.

Victoria climbed down from Henry's back a bit, with her face next to his own and her body attached to his back. It was good that Henry's muscle structure could effortlessly cope with her weight, so she could stay on his back without him minding. She rubbed her head against his gently, so as to not be scratched by the rough skin and joked:

"Here we are Croco. We will claim that this is a new ability you unlocked, the Hydra! You now have another head, although it's more...me! I am sure that Adam would be fooled by something like that!".

Victoria would never admit that she just wanted to be next to Henry and that she wished that they would pair up for the Power Training. With this many students, though, the odds were not high. At last he also noticed Dana and Theresa and finally spoke to them too:

"Oh, Dana and Scarfy! Excusez-moi! How are you doing ladies?"

Calling Teresa Scarfy was by no means offending, it was teasing. Usually, Teresa would reply with a nickname of her own, so they could get even.

Kristen Schwally

Kristen just smiled at Sylvia in response and possibly might have said something, but Gabriela intervened. Probably for the best, and started answering her question, but it would seem they weren't going to tell everything right now, which was fine. When Gabriela mentioned her dad getting pissed at her Kristen couldn't help but giggle a little bit. Of course that was the reason! Why wouldn't it be? It definitely suits her. Then she mentioned the possibly of burning a house down and Kristen simply gave a smile to Gabriela. She had really missed the two twins and was extremely happy to be back with them, what slightly worried her though is if they were being affected by her presence yet, after all it was different for each person because no ones system is the same. She was hoping not, the only people in the room that should know anything about her power were the instructors, and she was hoping to hide it as long as she could, though with her luck it was gonna be known to everyone by the end of the night.

Eventually Sylvia cut in again. Kristen wondered if Sylvia was trying to grab her attention, but she wasn't the best at figuring out that kind of stuff. So Kristen just smiled a little more at Sylvia. Then she looked down at herself when Gabriela mentioned that she should get changed. "Yeah...I suppose you have a good point." Her smile dropped a little, it was probably obvious she was really nervous about the whole thing. She knew that she had no talent in a combat situation. She could avoid things thanks to her dancing, but as for actually fighting? Well hide and seek might be her best idea for this if there were things to hide behind. But then what would everyone think of her...? Gr, she would just have to try her best! Quickly Kristen ran off right as Adam started his nice little speech.

Once in the locker room Kristen found her suit. Hers for some reason was more of a winter camouflage color. SHE actually kind of liked it even. She quickly got undressed and let her hair out of its braid and ran her hands through her hair for a minute before smiling and giggling to herself. She quickly got dressed and looked in a mirror. The colors actually still worked with her, including her hair and still managed to bring out her eyes a little. Her smile grew a little more. She then looked at her hair, yep, something had to be done. She pondered for a moment then decided to put it up in a ponytail while leaving two streaks, one on each side that went down her shoulders and onto her chest slightly. Perfect! For looking like a paramilitary chick, she had still managed to look good! She walked out of the locker room and looked around. Maybe she should try and make some new friends real fast? Nah! She quickly walked back over to Gabriela, Jake, and Sylvia and did a little twirl and giggled feeling a little better about the whole thing, sadly, just because she looked better than she thought she would. "So how do I look?" She asked as soon as she'd finished her half ass twirl which was still better than most people here could do, well at least professionally. Not that anyone here could tell the difference either...Hm...At this point she was completely clueless on the whole situation since she missed Adam's entire speech.

Stephen Avarian

Stephen actually fully turned his head and looked at Jaska's heat signature and focused in on him for minute. Thoughts running through hi head. A heart of fire huh? It definitely explained the constant temperature Jaka had. This kid was definitely interesting to say the least, and for once he was also someone that Stephen could easily recognize. The kid probably thought he was weird, but that was alright. As for the others he was with being around someone he didn't like, well Stephen understood that too. "I see, well I guess you're smarter than most of the people here Jaska. Most people would probably get worked up and start something that no one else wants to deal with." Of course it wasn't actually that, the kid probably just couldn't stand situations in which he was uncomfortable. "Hm, so Jaska, if you had to choose three people here that you'd want on your team who'd you choose?" This was just a random question to see who the kid had met so far and really just to pass the time most of all. Honestly he just wished that Adam would hurry up with his little speeches, pick the damn teams, and tell them what they were all doing.

Bell looked at her pad and began drawing, everything in the room, the personalities she saw, the people who seemed to be measuring dicks of sorts. Henry, the Lizard guy as she knew him was especially fun to draw, every feature on him was beautiful. Not in the way of a girl or a feminine beauty, but more of an exotic beauty. She had picked up this habit when she had done all her mountain climbing and hiking, it was her way of...drowning out sound. It worked...well half of the time, though this place was especially loud. She looked over everyone, not missing out any little detail, she then turned the page and began drawing again, this time having them move. It was easier for her to do this then talk to students right now, though she seemed fine she was more on edge then usual. She held her hand over her scared eye for a sec and suddenly her vision cleared up "Just in case..." she said in her head as she began to stop drawing again. Looking up she noticed that Adam had began doing another speech, talking about the same stuff she was informed with five years ago when she became a teacher for the school. However something did peak her interest was the fact that there was the Class 10 student in her, making Bell question Adam "was it really a good idea to tell the students that? I mean I don't question his reasons but , not might have been the smartest thing to tell the kids.

Putting her clip board behind her back she used her powers slightly and used the shadows behind Adam to whisper to him "Hey was that a good idea? I'm not saying that I don't trust what you say, but that can cause some of the kids to be a bit...well rambunctious" she made sure only he could hear is voice and she sighed looking over to a particular girl, her shadow was...different, something she had rarely seen. Besides that it wasn't her owns, like it was someone else's. She had heard that a student heard had a sentient shadow but it had been a long time since she had saw one or even talked to one. The last time was...well yeah lets not talk about that last time, that was a very...dark place in her mind. She could feel it, the girl and shadow that was. It was different, it was like it was drown to, this shadow was different from the one years ago in that cursed place she called home. She looked away again and payed attention to Adam again, not knowing if she was going to get an answer but it would help quench her wonder for why he said it.

Deborah Lillian Termellio, & Shannon Jacqueline Balore.

The two girl's conversation went relatively well. However, they have guests.

Two faces that are familiar to Debby. Red Winston, the boy she had declared her ally (In reality, I regard him as a friend), and Chris, the one armed man that had her so curious. Deborah grinned, and crossed her legs. What secrets do you have in that mind of yours, Fox? However, she was curious as to wh- (He found him in the locker room) well that answers that question. But, there was plenty more questions to ask, that need answers - And so many delicious blanks that need filling.

Who are these people? Shannon telepathically asked. She was curious about them.

This is the boy, Red, I told you about, and Chris, a sob story that I must decode.

Oh, how fantastic, I'll talk to him once he stops looking like a bad twilight cosplay. This seems like your niche, so I'll keep my mouth shut. Shannon crossed her legs, and did just that. She had nothing to really contribute, and if she just voiced her mind, she would only make Debs job harder. Like Deborah, she was curious about these two - Silence is the best way to sate that curiosity.

Now, Deborah had no distractions, no Shannon, nobody else. Just herself, these two interesting people, and their many secrets. Oh, they want to know what's happening to Red (Negative reaction to another power. Long dormant emotions are being awakened). Oh? Red has been suppressing his emotions? What a sad and pitiful existence. Deborah feared she could become the same if she devoted more to her power. But why should she stop there? There was plenty to know about things here... Who was the Meta-human that he was reacting negatively to? She quickly scanned the room, examining every face within range - (Her) - before her gaze rested on Kristen (Secretes emotion altering pheromones into the air). Now, Deborah could get cracking. She already has a starting point (Red) and a finishing point (Kristen). Thus her little head was filled with the blanks of information (Red, represses emotion, was being mentally altered by Kristen's ability, causing a negative reaction between the two. It was awakening his emotions, and his body isn't ready). She felt a small headache surge on. Ugh, overusing her power like this caused a bit of a mental backlash.

It took a second for Deborah to recover. "'Cuse me for a second..." She started massaging her temples. Making larger connections was harder and more taxing on her mind. The second she processed all the information, she raised her head. "I'll tell you..." She spoke in a low tone. "It is because of that girl you were talking to has a power that effects emotion, like pheromones... And given your lack of them, you're having a reaction to them.... A negative reaction in this situation." She looked at Red dead in the eye. Hoping that he understood. "My advice is that you never go near that girl again... Unless...."

Oh, how intriguing. This kid has no emotions and actually gaining them freaked him the hell out. Shannon had some sassy comments to make, but she kept them to herself for now.

Amanda Daisy Blackmore, & Nikki Biyung.

Nikki got very uncomfortable, very fast, when Karlie basically mentioned her (beloved) cousin's tits. She coughed. She was fine with what Karlie was saying up until that. Actually, Karlie seemed rather playful, like someone who would be friends with Amanda. She can tell now that the girl must have a high tolerance for obnoxious behavior, or very low standards. She was going to find out for herself what Karlie fell under. Nikki was going to blow off the comment about her (Or her cousin's) figure. "Well, I'm thinking of ordering a mask for my suit, and maybe changing out this kelvar with spider silk or something..." Just talk about this suit. "Hey, do you know if they let you change the armor?" Nikki asked Karlie and Amanda.

"Yes, Karlie, take it all in." Amanda voiced to Karlie, grinning like a fool, and posing like one too. She knew Karlie was checking out her body - Amanda had such a great body, that she didn't blame girls when they had to stare. She knew that Nikki was uncomfortable talking about all these great looking gals. "Dunno. They let me put metal on mine." She plucked the metal plates on her armor with her fingers.

Both girls listened as Matt explained his power in great detail. Initially, Nikki got the idea that his biokinesis was just the tip of the iceberg. Wait... He has omni-kinesis? That was such a powerful ability on it's own. It could trump Nikki's ability. All he had to do was turn into fire or electricity and he'll be basically untouchable. Of course, there were logical weaknesses. He needed teachers, and can only store one power at a time. But, Nikki couldn't resist rolling her eyes when Matt brought up 'Penis manipulation'. "What's with people and sex...?" It's all these people ever talk about. She was glad that her power didn't have any perversion potential... Oh wait, there's entomophilia... Nikki shuddered. She entered the fetal position. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts...

Now this really got Amanda's attention. Matt had such a powerful ability, possibly more powerful than the inherent Blackmore ability. Possibly infinitely more versatile than her own. She must have it. She got excited, she could only need his power for the rest of her life. It was official, she was going to wife him. "Teachers?!" Amanda said, super excited. She threw her arm around Matt, and pulled him in closer to herself. "Why didn't you ask. As a Blackmore, teaching is in my blood. I'll teach you everything I know." She did a pose, clenching her fist, staring off into the distance. Her expression snapped to a more droopy one, "But, you're going have to give me your power, asap." The sexual stuff would have to come later. She needed his power.

They both decided to drop the subject of the mystery number ten. Nobody knew who he was, and they likely wouldn't have found out. Matt came up with a different subject, their powers.

"Well..." Nikki piped, grabbing onto her bag, unzipping it. She was fine with sharing her powers, these people were her friends - alien as the concept seemed. Her power was just something that some people might find 'gross' or 'creepy'. She reached into her bag and pulled out a hand full of arthropods. Bees, spiders, cockroaches... You name it. Normally, they would skitter out of her hand, or attack her, but they did nothing. They seemed entranced. Nikki held them like they were nothing. "Arthropod-manipulation. I had this power since I was a kindergartner," That brought back memories when she had no control, and the day when she decided that she wanted to get that control. It took her years, but she got it. "But, I can control any arthropod on a macro-level, that means I can control bugs miles away from me, and I can sense what they sense." That was the basic part of her ability. She dropped the bugs out of her hand, and they crawled (Or hovered) their way back into the gym bag. "I can also control them on a biological level. I can do things like give poison to non-poisonous insects, and alter their anatomy... I haven't done much with it since I screwed it up a few times..." Very badly. If they survived, they didn't function the same.

Amanda let Nikki go first, since this was the most chatty she's been the whole time. It made her grin. The girl really liked talking about the nerd stuff. Amanda turned her head at Matt. "Since you already know about my Daddy's ability, you should know that it's inherent." She. "I can copy the powers of whoever uses their power on me, and partially turn into it like my brother Drake. I have Metal Manipulation when some jackass decided to stab me with a fork." She was looking at her nails.

Jake & Gabriela Valos, & Sylvia Bertoose.

They watched Kristen walk out of the locker room, gussied up like a supersoldier. She was quite... attractive in that suit. Both the twins thought so (Where Sylvia just left it at good looking). They wouldn't mind hooking up with Kristen - Though, they knew that there could be only one. Since they agreed ages ago that they should never let a girl get in between them... But not literally.

"Lookin' good, Kristen." Gabe said, nodding her head in approval and putting her hand on her strong chin. She didn't know what it was that made this girl so magnifying, but she didn't worry about the specifics. She put her hand on one hip, and shifted her weight to it. "You should stick with us if we team, or we could cheat our little hearts out if we're on other teams." Gabe laughed, mischief on her mind.

"Fuck cheating!" Sylvia protested, "I'm a lot of things, a cheater ain't one of them!"

"Yeah, I don't mind screwing with people, but cheating? We'll sic Mr. Hardass up there on us." Jake blankly said.

Gabe shrugged, blowing a puff of smoke out of her mouth. "Fine... We'll just not punch each other in the face. That cool?" She crossed her arm mid-sentence, looking upwards.

Jake turned back towards Kristen, "So, want to chill after class? I think we'd have a lot of catching up to do." He gestured to Kristen's suit. "I think we can all work together to do a bit of suit personalizing." He created an illusion of a white venetian mask, elegant and regal, and pressed it against his face. He thought he would look cooler if this suit was white. Perhaps if they'll be wearing these suits a lot, he can make it look all fancy like a royal outfit.

Jaska Din Valos.

Jaska wasn't a fan of the pep talk, but he nodded. He wasn't the type to cause trouble (... Intentionally) and he got that habit from Jake. He normally kept to himself, and focused on having fun. When he ran into someone he didn't like, he handled it in a rather mature way and just stuck to himself. Like right here, he was just idly sitting here. Jaska had no comments to say. Honestly, he was getting tired of the rather personal questions, he would rather talk about... anything else. Fortunately, Stephen decided to talk about teams. Who would he liked to be on team with? "Well..." He spoke, kicking his legs like a child. He put a claw to his chin, raising his head like he was thinking. "... My brother Jake, my sister Gabe..." This time he sounded a bit more receptive than before. Then there was a third person. He only knew a few people. Dana? No, she was in a wheelchair. Aislin? She was preeeetty. Henry...? Henry! "... And Henry! He's all big and strong."

Theresa Sindel Obott.

Theresa saw Henry's 'wind-up' middle finger gesture towards Valjean, and was quite amused. She put a hand to her lips, and slyly giggled. "If you make Macho-man come over here, I'm using Poppy as a shield." She laughed some more. She wasn't being serious when she said that. It was just a joke. Besides, not even Valjean would be dumb enough to start a fight in a room full of this many people - That's not even considering how brain dead it would be under Adam's watch. Victoria was still on top of Henry. Which was surprising since anyone with a brain would get off by now. She even kissed him on the head. Ew! "I hope you have good mouth wash on hand, Victoria!" Theresa playfully poked at Victoria. The French-woman greeted her, making a little nickname out of her scarf habit. Well, that made her laugh a bit. Everyone made a comment about her scarfs. "Sorry, scarfs are sooooo last year. Everyone's doing gas masks now!" She replied with the same kind of joking comment. Then Theresa remembered a comment Henry made about training. That provoked a subtle roll of her eyes. "And have you ever tried training re-gen-er-ation?!" She asked, still joking. Trying to train a healing ability just sounded stupid. Especially since she feels more pain than anyone else here.

Tess noticed that Poppy came back. All suited up and looking downright adorable in it. She didn't say anything. Perhaps she was embarrassed? Lots of people were embarrassed in these suits. Hell, the first time Tess saw her suit, she thought that her... business, would be on full display for the class. "What's the matter, Poppy-Flower?" Theresa asked. "You look cute in that." She wished that this gas mask didn't muffle her voice so much.

((Don't know what to have Dana say, so she's chilling until Aislin says something))

Matthias Landon Oxenford.

Whoa, this girl must be like Sherlock! Salia definitely picked up on more things than Matthias could. Well, actually, it wasn't all that special now that he thought about it. Suuuure he wouldn't have had a clue that the girl might have a cerebral power, or the one-armed dude might have an unstable power - But her other deductions were far more obvious (Such as Henry and Amanda's). Matthias shrugged, it was more impressive than most of what Matthias can do. "You sure have a keen eye, eh?" He had no choice but to complement her deduction skills. Salia's tiny-little outburst largely flew over the lanky teen's head. He wasn't paying attention. Salia's answer to his comment about inflating egos made him smirk. She mentioned that there were ways to take everyone down here, and the most subtle powers are the most dangerous. True that. Matthias didn't know much, but perhaps he fell into the subtle class? Sure, there were people who could flip buildings here, but he was bloody unkillable. Probably had the best regeneration here. Though, he didn't know if he could survive getting his head blown off. "Heh, true," He started off, "I'd rather deal with the flashy and obvious powers - Most of them can't do much to me anyway..." Salia didn't talk about her power, which made him wonder what her power was more. He wasn't really the subtle type, so he just voiced it, "What? You don't want to tell me your power? It's fine."

Valjean Vaseal.

Vespera's psychological tactics largely went over Valjean's head (But he was disappointed she didn't react negatively to his creepy comments). In his head there were simply no corners for him to be backed into. "Nah," He calmly said. "I'm giving Debs her space, and she's giving me mine." That was what he honestly believed. He didn't need to have her around his arms 24/7 - Everyone got the picture just fine. "And that's the problem, there ain't no one here. Just a bunch o' losers." Which is why I'm over here, talking to the creepiest girl here. Despite him vehemently rejecting it, Valjean and Vespera weren't so different... Not that he would say it out loud or anything. "I guess, despite the creepiness, you're slightly better." He was making that painfully obvious.

Adam Leo Blackmore.

"Technically..." Adam started off, tipping his glasses, answering Annebelle's concerns. He was sure of his actions. "There is not a level ten in the class." Technically speaking that is. There is someone who can reach that rank. "But, I do understand your concerns, and I will keep the students in line. Such as I have been doing for decades now." What would have been stupider was if he pointed out the student.

Matthew

Matt fell silent at the whole explanation phase, and let the girls talk. He chose to not say anything on the subject of Nikki's breasts. That would be... strange... to say in the least. "I think we can customize them. Adam said we could, and I'm fairly certain Dr. Olin would've gotten in trouble by now for his armor. He went to work on that shit." he said, pointing to the huge reptilian man a little ways away, who had the impressive armor with the skeletal pattern etched into it. "Hate to know how long that took to perfect." he said to himself, before listening back in on the conversation. Matt signed at Amanda's antics. "I... did say so." He said, smirking to himself. Why didn't he ask? Well, he did, didn't he? He needed teachers and asking Amanda for private lessons was a way to go about it. Although in hindsight it probably wasn't the best strategy since Amanda probably thought they were gonna bang. Not that she would be wrong, although, maybe later.

"Amanda, one question," he said, his brow furrowed. "You said someone has to hit you with the powers? I mean, if we can figure out a way to hit you with omnikinesis without you absorbing whatever power it's taking the form of, by all means. But I really don't want to become a meta human Chris Brown and hit my girlfriend." He said. He was legitimately confused about what exactly she would do, but if she had an idea he would happily hear it. "Of course, I'll give you any power you ask for if I know it, but I don't know much at the moment." he said, scratching the back of his head. "But we can do something about that." he said, smiling to his girlfriend. "And to answer your question, Nikki, my creator is a mid teenage male and my girlfriend is hot. Sex is a thing." he said, shrugging, not looking back at the explosion that was the 4th wall being blown to smithereens for the second time this act. "I hope Adam starts the training soon."

Henry

Henry signed. He had a love-hate relationship with Victoria. He loved her because well, he had a huge crush on her and she was a pretty amazing person. He hated her because she was a constant reminder of what he couldn't have. He would have asker her out by now, reptilian powers be damned, but he knew he was dangerous to be around, let alone date. What had just happened was a testament to this. All it would take would be one time he didn't check who jumped him, and he would turn someone to mush. If he would be the cause of his significant other's death, he wouldn't be able to deal with himself and would probably test just how powerful his ability to regenerate was. Reptiles also had a tendency for love biting, and he knew for a fact that wouldn't end well. He might have bedded that one girl in a party a year ago, but she was drunk off her ass, and if he lost control for one single second his teeth probably would've detracted and he knew for a fact that would have killed her. His claws were dangerous, he had a sickle claw on his foot that would make the Velociraptors from Jurassic Park jealous, and was just... overall a hassle to live with because he was a special snowflake.

He always wore a smile on his face, but he knew full well he probably would never be able to exist fully outside of the academy without being called a freak or being looked at strangely. He knew he was different, even by the standards of the school. Outside of the safety of the schools of the gifted, he probably would not thrive as anything more and an urban legend, and if he hadn't had the upbringing that he had with such loving and accepting parents, he knew he would most likely have lost all the sentience he had within the first few years, and would most likely be living in the forest, or somewhere in a remote part of the world where he would put himself so that he wouldn't risk hurting anyone. He had gone off the deep end once in his time here, when he had been flat out scared, and his first question had been if he had hurt anyone. He couldn't loose access to the only safe haven he had left on this earth. Not from loosing his cool just once. Everyone had been okay, a little shaken up, but okay. He shook himself from his thoughts after Theresa spoke to him. "Please, after the firm embarrassment I gave him yesterday, I doubt he has the balls for that." He said. "And to answer your question, yes. My tail has fallen off about six times and I lost half of my leg in... the incident a few years ago. Vera accelerate the healing enough to where I could get everyone out, but yes, I have. And I have absolutely nothing to show for it." He said, a brilliant smile coming across his face. His color under his armor shifted from it's usual green to bright red with some yellows, oranges, blues, and greens mixed in, along with a stripe- pattern mixed in. The color remained for a few moments before his color returned, being sleek black with red scaled on his underbelly, like a Australian Red Bellied Black snake's to match his armor. This was his battle color. And everyone who had seen him in the past knew it.

Peter had kept to himself in the back of the room, silently listening to Adam's speech on arena armors and ratings and classifications and so on. The arena armors were supposed to amplify or enhance, or in some cases, work in conjunction with. Peter would, perhaps, not have one available to him. It was basic deduction: before he left on the boat, he was signed out as an applying doctor and professor. As he arrived, he was suddenly a student. This error was made only recently, and so the faculty likely did not have the time to prepare a suit for him. And no one would ever know, because it would be seen as just a simple oversight. The children that surrounded him with scurrying about, excited and eager and anxious - Peter just felt indifference. Wearing a suit wasn't a big deal to him, neither was showing off. He'd rather remain inconspicuous... but there was still that plan. He had to meet someone with a particular skill-set that would allow them into the warehouse. The problem was, such skill-sets belong to people that were not necessarily trust worthy. Children with those skill-sets, even less so. But Peter still had no choice.

He continued on toward the locker rooms, searching for his own. Unlike the others, which had a plaque of their name labeled upon the lockers, Peter's own had a hastily-put machine-stuck plastic label taped onto it, named "Richard Cox". Briefly fiddling with the lock got him to opening the locker door, but unfortunately, there was nothing inside but a dust bunny. Turning around, he glanced at a closet. A metal sliding door was there, and upon opening it, was a collection of standard arena suits on clothes hangers. These were meant for younger students, so he'd have to go for an ill-fitted larger size (except for the gargantuan one on the far left - probably made for students whose power was correlated to their size). He selected a large and examined it carefully. A black and grey kevlar mesh. Skin tight. Had two arms. The palms and soles were padded with a kind of rubber. That was something he couldn't manage with. While trying to rip apart kevlar was one hell of a feat on its own, there was the idea that perhaps these suits weren't as carefully made... but no, that would be a liability issue. He examined it more closely.

While he'd have his work cut out for him trying to rip kevlar... there was the seam. The stitching. That he could do. He set the suit onto the ground and stepped on one end of it, before taking his hand at the base of the suit's arm and pulling on the arm. Within a moment, a ripping sound was heard and his arm was abruptly pulled back. One arm down. Peter repeated the process on the other side. He felt lower down on the suit where the legs were. Rubber soles. For grip, no doubt. This time, the seams were around the knees. One above the knee cap, one below. Presumably for joint flexibility. All he needed was to be rid of the soles, not to strip down. He ripped away at the leggings at the bottom seam, allowing his knees to remain concealed.

A brief moment of stripping down and donning the suit later, Peter found that it was still pretty tight fitting. Not that he could feel it. But Adam Blackmore did say they were supposed to be skin tight, yes? He'd be provided a more personalized suit in the future, no doubt. As for right now, his bare left arm had full control, and there was no empty and lifeless sleeve on his right side. The worst thing about having one arm was pretending. It was salt in a wound.

Electricity. I should find electricity soon.

There was nothing to be gained in the locker room alone. He returned outside to hear the bustling crowds of children. Peter ejected electricity out his feet onto the floor - a feat more easily and effectively done with the lack of footwear. The crowd and the room lit up vibrantly. The student body was donned in similar looking suits, some more complex than others. One girl (did she look familiar?) was a mix and match of flesh and metal - in his vision, she lit up more than any other person. She conducted the electricity well. He had to wonder if she would feel the buzzing effects more significantly than the others, a reason for concern, but Peter was stoic as always. He just had to find a proper... tenant of the skill-set he was searching for. He found himself staring at one girl - a black suit with a thick bush around the neck, who donned a hood. It looked like the stereotypical getup for the kind of person he was looking for, but if her ability had something to do with not being seen, then that was a start. He had to wonder if she could pick locks and carry boxes without being seen, too. He didn't fully realize that we was very slowly pacing across the room while staring directly at a student. He was too lost in thought.

"He broke the fourth wall, get him!" Nikki loudly shouted, pointing a finger.

Everyone in the room teamed up to collectively bitchslap Matt for his heinous crimes.

Poppy Flanagan

The comment about her being used as a body shield didn't sit well with Poppy. She knew it was a joke, but that didn't mean she liked it. I wish I could see this macho-man their talking about. Soon enough she probably would, and then she would regret having ever felt that way. When she got back it didn't take long for her roommate to try to make her feel included. Thus the comment earlier was washed away. Theresa would have to be the one she was most comfortable with here. Being nice and closet to her own age the primary determining factors. She would have been perfect except for one thing, but then she wouldn't be the same person either. Things were good enough that she didn't start thinking about the ideal situation. It simply wasn't going to be perfect.

"You really think so?" Poppy blushed. "I want to make it prettier. And If were going to do anything to physical I should do something with my hair..." Then she quickly added. "I hope not because I like it a lot like this!" It was still in the style Theresa had done for her earlier.

Vespera Spindel

A slight hint of amusement entered Vespera's voice. "Is that so. In that case you guys seem to give each other a lot of space." She wasn't quite giving up on getting a reaction from him. Though she did admit that the only reason they were even able to converse like this was because he was thick as a brick. "Well you're right about that much. There's nobody here that's worth my time." Considering she was looking for things she could against anyone and everyone that wasn't entirely true. As far as conversation goes there wasn't anything to be gained other than a meat to play with later in the arena. Once things got underway is when observation was really going to pay off. The other half was showing restraint. It had been years since she last transformed any part of herself in public power training. Just in case anyone was thinking the same as her. "I'll take that as a compliment. You aren't weak like the others, I suppose that makes you more worth my time." Then she took on a more relaxed posture. "Though right now Adam's wasting all our time. Him and the kiddies still pulling on their tights."

Karlie Davis

Karlie and connected her pointers with the thumb on the opposite hand to make a rectangular viewing window. Then she took mock pictures of Amanda complete with homemade sound effects for flash. Not for too long though. After all she deserved the spotlight as much as her friend. That and the fact she actually did consider Amanda attractive. Not that she was crushing on her or anything. Then Nikki said something that made her think for a moment.

"Spider silk? I will admit that sounds awesome, but you best be careful. Vespera, the tall goth chic, she has a habit of rounding up the schools spiders and doing who know's what with them. One time I passed her in the hall and she was leaning up against the window speaking to herself... except she said something about her babies. I think she might talk to them and stuff. Whatever she's weird." Karlie didn't care to remain on the subject much longer, she knew that the spider woman wasn't a friend of Amanda's. Earlier she had saw Vespera at the table, but she hadn't connected the table flipping outburst to her.

When Matt went on to explain his power the specifics were lost on Karlie, but she got the jist. The guy was rather powerful, and had a lot of versatility. Still, she didn't really like the whole power rating system. People a few power classes lower than somebody else could still beat somebody with a higher power rating. Sometimes even badly, and not necessarily because they have a power that counters theirs. Skill and versatility in her mind wasn't properly accounted for. A top tier rating gave many of the jerkwads around inflated egos and put others down by comparison. Some just looked at their number and gave up on the concept of being as useful as others without hardly trying.

Then he asked about their powers and she totally jumped ship on her train of though. Personally she thought her power was the best thing in the world. It didn't matter what number the system attached to it, though she wasn't lacking there. "I gain powers based on what I wear. One article typically gives me one power, but outfits give me whole sets. Like right now." Generally the more complicated outfits, which also so happened to be the hardest ones to put on gave her some top notch abilities even more than simple full body outfit. Something Amanda would know, but it was too verbose for her tastes unless asked for details. Which might happen considering the ease at which she switched powers versus Amanda. When she was done teaching him metal they would have to look for other sources to train.

After hearing what Nikki's power was she figured Vespera, and Valjean now that she thought about it were not going to take kindly it it's mere presence. To be honest she felt that she'd be wise not to share with others, or even demonstrate her ability in class today. However, she knew that Amanda would have something to say about it. Plus it wouldn't be cool to bring up the creepy woman twice in such a short time frame.

Zackary King

When the alarm went off Zackary levitated off the floor and looked around frantically only to calm down moments latter. He tried the bed, but he found to unstable of a surface after sleeping on the cold hard ground for so long. It was a luxury he was going to purposely forfeit. He had promised himself he wouldn't let himself go soft attending school. This time would be nothing like the last. Without Robert he would have to manage alone this time. Of course last time he wasn't a living weapon. After setting himself back down on the floor he beckoned for the first outfit atop the bundle of clothes he'd brought with him. A black Five Finger Death Punch shirt with album cover for War is the Answer upon it. This shirt was relatively new by comparison to the others and this didn't have any holes. The sleeves had been torn of quite precisely making it into a tank top. He wore one of his better pairs of pants. Grey, cargo style, and zip off so he could make them shorts if he so chose. As always he wore his tennis shoes and would until they fell part too much. All of his articles were donned telekinetically and quite quickly. Even his shoes tied and the laces tucked in all without hardly moving a muscle. As he walked out the door he flipped his silver coin behind him casually and it automatically homed in on his pocket from whence it came.

Despite his choice of attire Zack was really just hoping that everyone was smart enough to leave him alone. Looking like you're ready to go at a moments notice helped. Not that he wasn't, except he also wasn't ready to get kicked out yet either. He was prepared to stand up for himself enough so he wouldn't be labeled as a target, but not so much as to give in to a stranger asking to be trashed. Entering the cafeteria he was astounded at the amount of food available. With so many people it made sense, still, what was important is that it was his for the taking. Now that he was among the other students he used his hands to operate the serving utensils and soon had a mountain of food. He sat in the most secluded stop he could find and spent the whole time trying good eats new and familiar.

Classes were an embarrassment since he was well below grade level academically. At least all the younger students were too unnerved or whatever bug him. Among him was a few others who looked to be of similar ages. One of them, a girl, seemed to be on similar garb and demeanor. He glanced at her once, then minded his own business. When it was time for power training he walked into the room, then straight into locker room following a couple guys that looked like they knew what they were doing. Inside he found a locker with his name on it. A slight bend appeared in it as memories of how much time he'd spent inside his last one came flowing back. His outfit was a standard and grey in color. Accompanying it was a utility belt and a metal, brain bucket style helmet with a black tinted visor. This thing looks ghetto as hell. An ironic thought coming from him. I'll have to fix that. Upon opening the pounces in the utility belt he saw they had done something right. One was full with small metal balls, the next with glass ones, then plastic, and so on.

He stepped outside with his helmet under his arm refusing to wear it yet. Then he stood off on the outskirts of the crowd and waited. Certain people stood out among the crowd, however he had other, more important priorities than socializing. Before now he always did, he was at a loss as of what he was going to do once they were dismissed for the day. More so he wanted to see how these people thought they were going to help him master his power anyways.

Tetsuya Kyuuji
Tetsuya looked down in his arms, Asae sleeping soundly, between running from mob bosses and killing for the past couple of months, it had been a long time since she could sleep in peace without the worry of waking up in the middle of a shoot out. For him, he wished he could sleep, but he had suffered to much, watch to many things happen to fall asleep not with Asae sleeping, no way in hell would he ever let her get hurt not after they got this far. They sat on the boat on its way to the island and he remembered it like it was yesterday, Adam Blackmore, more of a father figure then even his own blasted father was. Thinking about this only made him shut his mind off, he stood up still as a monk could be, putting Asae down and moving her hair out of her face for him. He then sat cross legged and put his arms on his legs, forming an O in the middle of his lap with his hands and he began to drift between reality and his inner mind "How long has it been since you have meditated Suya?" he smiled at his mother in his inner world "Sorry mother, we have been through a lot of trouble since the last time I talked to you mother, and for that I am sorry" his mother appeared meditating like he was but with her eyes open in front of him "Do not worry Suya, for you I stay to only guide you, you have been going through things that you must find guidance yourself, not your girlfriend or Adam, remember that my child" she began to fade away and he opened his eyes "Mr.Kyuuji, we are making dock soon, do you want me radio in that Mrs.Kyuuji is sleeping so keep noise down?" the captain looked at him and he shook his head "When a dragon sleeps, not even an apocalypse will wake them up" he laughed in a gruff roaring type laughter that made the Captain laugh in fear almost.

Tetsuya, picked up his duffel back and Asae and wrapped both heavy bags around his neck one under each arm. Then picked up Asae like a baby and smiled as she shifted a little but went back to sleep against his soft panda fur. Walking onto the docks a woman stood with a clipboard, though Tetsuya was said it was not Adam who was standing there, he knew the man was more than busy so he put on a smile and walked over "Hi im terribly sorry for this, I know it's an inconvenience for you teachers" she looked him up and down and did her best to keep in her surprise but it worked little against his studying eyes "N-...No no Mr.Kyuuji, it is not a problem at all, we are more than happy to help out an old student and new interns. Welcome to the team" she went on to tell him her name and they walked off the docks and into the building, leading up corridors and halls until they got to their room "Under normal circumstances, Mrs.Kyuuji would get her own room but you two are married so it should be fine to sleep in the same room" She opened the door and walked in putting their keys and clip boards on a desk "Anyways, Not much has changed since you were last here so don't worry about getting lost, I'll be on my way now" she winked and moved towards the door "Oh wait, where might i find Adam Blackmore?" she turned and looked at her clipboard "he is currently teacher power training, down the hall and-" he waved his hand "I remember, sorry to keep you" she shook her head again and closed the door behind her.

He put Asae down on the bed and covered her with the comforter, kissing her forehead he moved away from the bed and went to the sink looking in the mirror "How in the hell did they get my measurements for the doorway and the mirror and the bed?...Never mind I don't want to know..." by now Adam most likely had teachers who had the ability for things like these. Running the water and splashing his furry face he looked into the mirror and sighed "It's been a long time since I was able to do that...long time indeed" he grabbed a towel and wiped his face off, folding it back and then looking at his closet. He found already tailored suits for both Asae and him, most interesting enough was that they seemed to be able to keep the same suit he used years ago when he was here, keeping the same modifications as he had put on them. He put on specially made pants and a hoodie on, grabbing his key and opening his door, he closed it quietly and then put his hood on, doing his best to keep his furry self hidden, not that he didn't care what others thought, but he never got over the stares he got. Walking he stuffed his paws in his hoodie and walked bear(had pun) footed or rather pawed against the floor. He walked through the halls remembering the little friends he had back then, wondering what they were doing or if they were still around. He...reminisced for the first time in a long time about his past and it made him smile. Walking up to the door to the training room he stopped his hands inches from the door "If you see him, squeeze him to death" he joked to himself as he pushed open the doors and saw that Adam was standing in front of a group of students. He got on all fours and suddenly let out an alarming roar, before running what seemed almost at the speed of light towards Adam, jumping on top of him and bear hugging the living shit out of him "ADAM!!!!!" he rolled around with him in his arms and sat down on his butt, standing Adam up and hugging him again "I missed you old man, look at you, you haven't changed in years you sly dog you, though...is that what I think it is? Grey hairs? You old dog you have changed a little bit I suppose" he laughed, which slightly turned into a roar before he stopped to catch his breath.

Adam Leo Blackmore.

Adam did notice the giant fucking panda bear walk in. Adam smiled wholeheartedly. He hasn't seen Tetsuya in years, and they were quite trusted. He tipped his glasses. "Oh, Tetsuya, it is great to s-" He said, which was cut off by the  - Oh dear god no! - rushing through his head. He did not expect Tetsuya to rush him like that. He barely had fast enough reflexes to react in time. He was grabbed and hugged tightly enough (It did not provoke happy thoughts that the Bear could crush him like a twig). In this situation, there was little he could do to escape. So he calmly resigned, he knew he wasn't in any immediate danger. "... It's nice to see you too..." He managed to groan out, it was pretty strained. The way he said it, it was a nice way of saying 'please put me down'. He turned his eyes and Megan was giggling like a little school girl. It would have been an adorable moment... If the presentation wasn't... Threatening. Like...

Burning hot heaps of iron flown over his head and was packing enough force to firmly impale itself in the wall. Plenty of which hit Tetsuya. A great sign of what happens when cool heads aren't prevailing.

"... Stop Amanda!" Adam shouted, before the situation escalates further.

Amanda Daisy Blackmore, & Nikki Biyung.

"Not really hit, as use it on me." Amanda said with a toothy grin. Kicking her feet back and forth like a child. "You can just tap me - a simple love tap, hun. No harm no foul." Amanda probably should have elaborated on that part, but she wanted to be short and sweet! Like Valjean's penis. She grinned at the domestic abuse comment. Who the fuck would attack her and expect to away with it? A retard that is. "And I ain't no bitch like Rihanna, I'll leave yo' bitch ass hanging from the tower by your balls if you think you'll get away with that shit." She laughed.

Nikki listened to Karlie's advice Vespera... That woman was something Nikki knew she should avoid. The way she carries herself and acts. Nikki has seen that type of person before, and they'll try to cut her down for even the slightest reason. She would heed Karlie's words (Honestly, it'd be stupid not to do it). "I'll keep my head down...." That was the best Nikki could do. While she knew how to fight (And very well), she kept fights to a minimum. "I'll just - uh, grab some out of a place no one cares about-" She was interrupted by her cousin.

"Ahahaha... Don't worry about spider-tits, and small dong Jean, Nikki." Amanda stood straight up, and started doing a short imitation of Vespera's walk. Before laughing it off and slapping her knees. "They fuck with you, I'll fuck them up just for you. And they should be afraid of you, you can probably string them up like puppets."

Controlling a human being? Nikki has never even attempted to control someone with such an ability - Nor will she ever. It sounded like a massive violation of human rights, even if they might be less human. The kind of things only super-villains would do. There were lines she wouldn't cross, and mind control was one of them. It goes without saying that Nikki kept her mouth shut, and listened to Karlie's explanation. Oh? She gets powers depending on what she wears? Man. Everyone here had a flashier ability than Nikki's. Probably more versatile and powerful too. Hm... There were probably some interesting things that Karlie could do. "So, I guess if you dress up like a bee keeper, you'd control bees or something? If you like, I can..."

Before Nikki could continue, a giant bear just walked in, roaring like a beast before rushing Adam. This went well with everyone.

"-YO' WHAT THE FUCK?!" Amanda jumped on her chair immediately, she was about to... She didn't know what she was going to do to Ling-Ling the panda - but it wasn't nice! Amanda wasn't the type to think things over, or consider anything, her eyes were filled with blood lust - Violence was the only thing on her mind. She rushed forward, sending her metallic armor at Tetsuya at blinding speeds, she heated them gradually, but since she didn't have time, they weren't super hot. After that attack, she began charging after Tetsuya, fearlessly. Despite Tetsuya's size, she knew that cowering in fear would accomplish nothing.

Despite being more level-headed, Nikki was so surprised that she didn't even think to analyze the situation. There was a time to think and a time to act. The swarm of insects that she had in the bag had immediately went into action with one command. The crawling insects had poured out of the bag and onto the floor towards. The flying insects filled the air around them (Some were killed by Amanda's attack) traveling in a straight line towards Tetsuya. None of them would reach him in time .

Adam & Amanda Blackmore, & Nikki Biyung.

Adam had to stop this now. He wrestled his way out of Tetsuya's grasp (Who was distracted with handling the attacks on him). He landed on his feet, and got in between Amanda and Tetsuya, standing sideways, a shoulder (and palm) pointed at both of them. "STOP!" He shouted, which sounded more thunderous than anything. He sent a mighty gush through the room that would slam against everyone (Wouldn't move them, but it was more of an attention grabber). He didn't want to cause a bigger stir than before.

There were few things that could get in between Amanda and a fight... Adam was one of them. Amanda was expecting a larger gust of wind, so she slammed her fist into the ground to kill her momentum. The gust of wind wasn't as bad as she thought it'd be. She stood straight up, she knew that this isn't over. She was wondering why Adam was defending him. "... Daddy! What is the meaning of this?!" She spoke like a bratty child.

Most of the swarm was killed by Adam's gust of wind. Which was unfortunate. But, Nikki quickly retracted what was left, obediently following Adam's orders.

Christ. That was completely unexpected. It could have been much worse if Adam hadn't done anything, knowing Amanda's tendencies. But, Tetsuya should not have done that. It was one thing to embrace him, but rushing him after letting out a violent roar? Many people could have taken that as antagonistic. In a room full of impulsive and violent teenagers no less. "Everyone calm down." Adam reassured his class, "All is well." He put his glasses back on, before he continued, "I, nor anyone else, is under attack. This is Tetsuya, an old student of mine. He... choose to show affection in... his own way."

Huh? Old student. Regardless, Amanda did not approve. She put her hand on her hip, and dryly looked at Tetsuya and Adam. She was definitely irritated. "The fuck?" She put a palm out towards. This was a strange break of character. Normally she's wild and carefree... Right now she's (relatively) composed and caring. "Kung Fu Panda right here fucking pounced you like he was going to turn you into a snack! The flying fuck was I supposed to think?! 'Oh he's probably just a homie let me just sit here with my thumbs so far up my ass I might lose them!'" Amanda certainly wasn't pleased.

"Look," Adam needed to calm down Amanda, "I understand that fully. What I am trying to say is that there is no need for any further actions." He stared down Amanda. He would need to have a talk with her about this later.

"Fine." Amanda said, keeping her metal form on. She just... Disregarded it all. She felt justified for attacking him, and she'll sure as hell stay that way.

Nikki cautiously walked up, gym bag in hand. Jesus, this was just an old student? God, he could tear her to pieces in an instant. The best hope Nikki had was to take out his eyes and haul ass. But, she was going to play nice. Because this was all just one big misunderstanding. She knelt down, and let her crawling bugs back into her bag. Not too many, she would have to step out to get some more... Again. Nikki rolled her eyes, she would have to ask Adam, because she can't work with this. "God fucking dammit..." She hissed underneath her breath. She let out another sigh, calming herself down. Time to shine... Nikki stepped up to the scene, "Um, yeah, sorry..." Nikki scratched the back of her neck. She didn't really do anything, but she was close to as anyone else here. "Call me sentimental, but I wish we met under different circumstances." She hadn't even given out her name. "... I'm Nikki Biyung, Adam's niece..." She didn't know why, but she felt that would help the situation. If they're so close

"Now..." Adam tipped his glasses. He turned and hugged Tetsuya, since they didn't have a proper hug. "This is well deserved." He said to him, kindly. He took a step away from Tetsuya, and adjusted his glasses again. "I know you think differently from the rest of us, but that was not the best course of action. Why was aptly demonstrated by my daughter and niece...." He put a fist to his lips, loudly clearing his throat. "Next time, please try to avoid appearing like it was an attack, people here are trigger happy, and impulsive. Sad but true. If you had done it to anyone else, who knows what would have happened?" He lectured Tetsuya, because this was really important to get across now.

Theresa Sindel Obott, & Dana Lucille Alcott.

"... You did make him look like quite the - What's the family friendly way to put it? Oh yeah, female dog." Theresa immediately replied to Henry after shutting Valjean down. It was funny indeed. Way funnier than the slugfest that would have occurred - Well, it would have been a little funny to see two meat heads beat the ever loving hell out of each other for stupid reasons. "Cool, could you turn pink and wear a princess dress? I think that you'll distract everyone with how fabulous you are..." Theresa said with a devious grin, biting her fingertips, giggling. With that, it was time to play nice with Poppy. She looked Poppy in the face, and smiled. Poppy was kinda cute, acting all shy and everything. Hell, at this point, Tess felt like Poppy was going to be the little sister she never had! Well, she has a little sister, they're just not on good terms. "I'll take you by Shannon later on." Theresa knew of Shannon's legendary ability to alter clothes and suit... And her, even more legendary, superiority complex. "She's a bit of an asshole, yes, but she can make that suit look perfect for you." She laughed. Unfortunately, that laughter came to a close once a fucking bear pounced on Adam.

"-Oh shit!" All that calmness and joking remarks evaporated in a heartbeat. She was quite surprised, and worried for Adam. Yeah, he was powerful, and pretty badass, but fuck, he was an aging man, and that was a fucking bear. On top of him? Tess's family dealt with bears quite a lot when they went on hunting trips. They were fast, strong, and vicious. Hell, she even came face to face with one and it bit the hell out of her. Thank god for her ability, or else the bear would have ripped her to pieces - It was so drugged that it couldn't even continue. She felt phantom pain course through her arm, and shuddered. Her trip down memory lane was quickly ended when the sound of iron shocks filled the room. Amanda (who was the transphobic bitch to Tess) launched a metal attack, while Nikki was sending a slow moving swarm towards Tetsuya. Theresa hated bugs. "Time to make like a... Ah, screw it." No time for jokes, keep it simple, "Poppy, Dana! Let's go!" She grabbed onto Poppy's wrist.

"... Adam!" Dana gasped, putting out a hand like she could help him. Put on the helmet you fool! She cursed herself for not doing this sooner. She was easily the fastest person here; she could easily stop the Panda or get Adam out of the way, or... something! The last thing she wants to do is look back and say that she could have done something. It was already too late, by the time the hood and helmet were on, he was already on top of Adam. Amanda was already attacking him, being the hero. This situation was going to escalate quickly. Thank god Adam knows how to handle these situations. Dana would have hauled ass for the exit if a fight broke out. She felt so relieved... But oh so useless at the same time. She rested her head into her hands. Staying silent, as she remained alone with her thoughts.

Forever she will be the useless girl in the wheelchair...

Thank god, everything got settled pretty fast. Theresa was just about to grab Dana and haul ass for the exit. Because there was no way in hell that she was going to stick around in this confined ass room while monsters were fought. Tess let out a sigh of relief. Though, despite the fact that she really hates this girl, Theresa couldn't blame Amanda for flipping out and attacking. She would say that she would have done the same, but she would have pissed herself in fear (Maybe that would have helped!). Theresa felt like it was time to lighten the mood a bit. She took a few steps forward, and said to the group "C'mon guys, there was no need to get all violent..." Theresa's tone was like she was scolding them. "... What? You think Adam can't bear it?" She shrugged, cheeky smile on her face the whole time. That pun was awful, but that was the point.

Valjean Vaseal.

"What? You hoping I'm available?" Valjean flashed her a toothy grin - If only he had a gold tooth. It would sparkle right now! He still was oblivious to Vespera's tactics, but he thought it'd be funny if that comment kept her mouth shut. It was that, or 'None of your goddamn business'. It really wasn't any of her goddamn business, but he was going to keep that to himself. "Yeah, I know. These new kiddies really need to keep it moving, that's why I already showed up suited up." He was tempted to comment on how stupid he thinks 'personalizing' suits is, but that was certainly going to hit a sore spot with Vespera. Well, that wasn't a bad thing, but she's the only person in here he's willing to talk to. Other than agreeing with her, there wasn't much they could talk about. He was about to get up and bitch to Adam, but a bear charged in. Valjean was rather surprised by Tetsuya, especially how boldly he leaped on the teacher. Wasn't a surprise that people started attacking him. Everything got wrapped up in a moment or two, which is what Adam always did when shit starts popping. Honestly, he was hoping for the bear man to eat Adam so they wouldn't have to listen to him bitch. "... Fucking dumbass." Valjean snickered. "You know what they do to bears that don't stay in the woods?" He made a gesture, putting a gun to his head, and blew, like he got shot in the head. "Personally, I was just hoping he would cause a big enough stir so class would be cancelled... But we don't get that luxury, do we?"

:: Saila Eman Tsal ::

"Heh, true, I'd rather deal with the flashy and obvious powers..." Matthias agreed with a smirk. "-most of them can't do much to me anyway..."

Well that's interesting... The cerebral pondered. It might have been a bit presumptuous, but given his rather thin frame, Saila hadn't really pegged him as one of the more invulnerable types. A teleporter, speedster or electrokinetic, maybe, but definitely not the kind of person who'd shrug off bullets or energy blasts. Just goes to show powers come in all body types, I suppose. I wonder what sort of ability he has... Intangibility perhaps? Force fields? Energy absorption? Plain old impenetrable skin? He did comment about liking the superhero look earlier too, come to think of it.

Rather than answering the question, he instead elected to reply with a query of his own:

"What? You don't want to tell me your power? It's fine." he said with a curious tone.

Doesn't want to reveal his abilities to a complete stranger and give up a potential advantage. Understandable. One should never play their entire hand on the first turn, after all. It is always best to keep an ace in the sleeve should it ever be needed. It is always useful to keep what one's capabilities are as vague as possible. It is hard to attack that which one does not know.

"Oh, they are nothing exceptional really. I suppose you could say it is sort of the opposite of what you said, in a way. For me, it is the subtle powers which aren't much of a concern."

Before being able to press Matthias further for information about his abilities, Saila's attention was caught by something, and the young mutant grabbed him by the shoulder.

"Get down." the teenager ordered, pulling him into a crouch just as a frightening roar echoed through the room. A massive figure came rushing in through the doors and into the classroom, heading straight for the instructor. Well, technically speaking, an observant individual might notice the warning came a fraction of a second before the actual sound, but that particular detail would probably go unnoticed with all the excitement. Instinctively, Saila's reached for an utility belt, only to realize it was still in the locker room. Besides, it wouldn't be much use, I don't know the number for campus security anyway...

This was one of the disadvantages of being next to the entrance. It allowed to be among the first to leave in case of an emergency, but also made you one of the closest to whatever might come through. Being in the corner did help mitigate that fact, however, and they were never directly in the path of danger. Not to mention the route to the exit was now clear, once it was out of the way. It would probably be easy to rush out and get security. Then again, they were in a room with a few dozen meta-humans with an average power classification ranging between five and eight, so maybe it wasn't really necessary. Cautiously standing back up, Saila observed how the scene unfolded, ready to rush out if things got out of control.

Sure enough, two students were already moving in to handle the situation, the ferrokinetic and her friend, who unleashed a sizable insect swarm towards the beast, which had the teacher firmly within its grasp. Before things could escalate any further, however, the instructor managed to wrestle out of the creature's hold and bellowed out a thunderous "STOP!", releasing a powerful gust of wind which caused everyone to stop in their tracks.

"... Daddy! What is the meaning of this?!" the metal clad one asked him.

"Everyone calm down. All is well." he reassured his class, putting his glasses back on. "I, nor anyone else, is under attack. This is Tetsuya, an old student of mine. He... choose to show affection in... his own way."

Looking back at the figure now, it became clear that it probably didn't intend to harm him in any way. Not because it looked harmless by any means, quite the opposite in fact, but rather because if it did, it would have reduced him to a red splatter on the floor before anyone had any chance to react. The ex-student looked like a massive humanoid panda bear, and had an extremely dangerous appearance, even more so than the large lizard-man from earlier. The lizard-man seemed to act mostly like a normal person in a reptilian body, but this one behaved like a real animal.

"Well that's something you don't see every day..." Saila commented wryly, slightly bewildered.

Kristen Schwally

Kristen smiled hearing their approval. She nodded quickly when Gabriela suggested staying together, but then when she mentioned cheating if they weren't together the other two seemed against the whole idea, and that made Kristen a little nervous. She didn't stand a chance against anyone in this room. Being a Supermodel meant nothing in this room. Even if no one else used their powers and she did she still would end up losing. She definitely didn't want Adam to get mad at her friends though just because they were being nice to her. Kristen just kept smiling and pretended everything was fine though, and honestly she was still happy. She was with two of her only true friends, two of the only people she'd ever been able to connect with, oh and Sylvia was there too, though Kristen wasn't sure about her yet, but she was with Gabriela and Jake, and to top it off she had a sense of humor, though it was a little crude, so in Kristen's book she was just fine, plus she kinda liked her hair, the silver was a nice touch.

Kristen's face lit up again when Jake invited her to spend time after class together. She quickly nodded, "Okay that sounds like fun!" She was glad that she would get to spend even more time with Jake, and Gabriela too. This had to have been the best luck in the world for her to run into these two here. She was about to say something when something ran into the room and completely wrapped itself around Adam. Then a whole ordeal started to take place and Kristen got really worried something bad would happen and her arms came up to her chest as she grabbed her own hand almost as if praying. Then Adam got in between the two parties and a gust of wind rushed through the air blowing Kristen's hair around, which made her really glad she hadn't gone with a miniskirt today, even if she'd already changed. So now her main question would have to be whether or not they would get started now that that happened, or if she got lucky and that caused the whole class to get cancelled, which was only a joke she wanted to believe in.

Stephen Avarian

Stephen smiled now that Jaska was finally opening up a little. This whole being friendly thing was a little more difficult than Stephen thought it would be., but at least he was making some progress with it. Suddenly though a weird heat signature came running into the room and completely engulfed Adam's heat signature. "Um..." He wasn't sure what it was, though he wasn't too worried either. "What exactly is that thing...?" He couldn't see it for himself so he decided to ask Jaska since the kid could see what ever that thing was. Then the whole situation escalated after that to where Adam had to intervene after recovering. Stephen could only shake his head. The things people did...Oh well nothing could be done about it from his end. Hopefully this would mean the fun part would finally get started and he could demolish people now.

Red Winston & Christopher Fox

Red was taken aback by Deborah's words. It was true that emotions were not his game, but he didn't expect that experiencing them would cause such a mess to his powers. He knew that this thing happened when he felt fear, which was the only emotion he acknowledged of feeling, because of his fear of big knives. But, other than that, he didn't expect that, if he was exposed to other feelings, his memory storage would just overload like this. Being susceptible to a power is one thing, but completely powerless? Red didn't even want to think about it.

Chris was also listening to the conversation and was just as surprised. The kid was the exact opposite of him. Chris was a vault of emotions, especially guilt and self-hate, had a crush of his own and was willing to love people, not just make acquaitances. It was actually the first time he witnessed something like this. Usually, he would encounter people who at least had emotions like hatred or overconfidence. People with only negative emotions. But it was the first time meeting someone who had none and who would be freaked out by getting to have some.

"Hey, kid...Don't you have parents? A girlfriend? It can't be that you just don't have affection towards somebody...", he asked.

Red reflexively touched the scar on his face with his fingertips when he heard the question. While he did have affection to his dead father, he locked the memory of this feeling in a chain-locked door at the very back of his memory Hall. He had to, after all. The shock of losing his father almost cost him his sanity. It was also the main factor that Red didn't allow himself to feel anything about someone. It was a mental precaution that Red considered nescessary for his well-being. Red answered:

"I did have a father...and I killed him. I was seperated from my mother when I was too young to remember her, so I don't have affection towards her. No hatred either. I just don't know who she is. So, there is no person for me to care about any more. I got involved in business that did not allow me to trust anyone by myself either, before joining the Academy. The way I lived up to now, I can only remember feelings making me weak and it was a hindrance to hav...."

Before finishing his sentence, Chris grabbed him from his collar with his sole arm and bumped him to a wall.

"Don't make fun of people who actually do have emotions kid. Many people are willing to go to extremes for someone they care. I don't care if you don't understand what I am talking about, but don't even thing about mocking these people."

"Then I guess that your missing arm is because of your emotions too? Please, spare me the answer..." Red replied and took Chris' hand away from him.

Leaving Chris speechless with his last statement, Red turned to Deborah and said:

"Thanks for the information, Deborah. I will do my best to put it to good use...See you later."

With that, he walked away from the two girls and Chris.

Alex Beta

Alex smiled to her friend as the two of them walked along. Alex was sure that it wouldn't be too hard for the two of them to make some friends, who wouldn't want to chat with a living lightbulb and a living shadow? "Aw Lynn! Don't worry. I think you're super nice, so I'm sure everyone else would agree with me!"

The giant panda thing rushing in had actually taken Alex by surprise. She watched as the creature let out a roar and began charging across the room. Alex didn't know a whole lot about animals, but it didn't seem like a particularly friendly roar. It was weird, the only time Alex had ever seen a panda was at the zoo when she was very young. And all that thing had done was munch on some leaves and sleep in the corner. Alex didn't even think pandas could charge, no less grow to that size. And then she had to think about how a giant panda would even get into the building on the island. Despite all of these oddities, Alex was scared. It wasn't the same fear she felt when Vespera was picking on her, Alex could stand being walked on. But when it came to giant animals attacking, that was a different pay grade all together.

Despite the slight curve of her lips, as if indicating she was actually enjoying the panda attack, the ever lasting glow around Alex changed just for a few seconds, in the time it took for the panda to burst in and for Adam to silence the room. Her glow changed from a bright white or yellow color to a dark and murky black. It was as if the shadows around Alex darkened only for a few moments. Black holes seemed to do that to people. But once Adam explained who the panda was, Alex was back to smiling fully. She turned to Lynn, as if not aware of the strange change that had just occurred over her internal light. "Dude! That's so cool! We might end up having classes with a giant bear!"

Cordelia Lynn Holmes

Lynn took a deep, deep breath. In lieu of nicotine, this was the best way she'd found of calming herself down.

The motherfucking one-armed Iron Giant, a six year old who was two steps away from looking just like Satan, and now P.F. Chang himself were at this fucking school.

Jesus. H. Christ. Lynn was going to kick someone's ass just for being too weird here soon.

And....and then Alex said something that just utterly floored Lynn. Lynn usually prided herself on having a scathing comeback, on picking up on things quicker than everybody else, of being hypervigilant. She, however, lost track of everything in the training room for a few seconds as she mulled over what Alex had said. Nice? Her? She'd heard a lot of things attributed to her, but none of those thing had ever been..."nice". What....Alex...

"Uh," Lynn said smartly, her tongue refusing to form words, "Yeah. Classes with a bear. It'd be cool. I could feed him bamboo or some shit," she said, totally at a loss for words. Gah. She wanted to explain to Alex in no uncertain terms that she wasn't nice, that she was about as far from nice as Hitler during his time of the month, but that...Lynn closed her eyes, feeling more or less totally confused. She didn't like getting in touch with her emotions and shit. It was problematic and never really seemed to accomplish much. She almost felt as if she was leading this poor girl on-but, then again, the clothes, the tattoo under her eye...surely Alex wasn't that naive? Did...was it....regardless, Lynn had a very quiet realization that being thought of as not a total bitch by someone was really nice.

Damnit Nightlight. I'm starting to like you.

Lynn opened her mouth to say something when a glint caught her from the corner of her eye. Surreptitiously, she let her eyes flicker in that direction (when you're being flanked, you don't let the motherfuckers know that you know; you turn the element of surprise right back on them. Cordelia Lynn, Chicago's own Sun Tzu) and spotted the Tin Man doing his best Lurch impression as he sidled closer. Lynn didn't think he'd try anything-and there was a pretty good possibility he wasn't even coming towards her specifically, but it did seem that way. She doubted this guy was dumb enough to hit a girl with faculty all around, but you never went wrong expecting the worse. "Alex," Lynn muttered, turning away from Peter-which, for most people, was a dumb move, but it was pretty hard to get Lynn from behind-"Pacific Rim over there's got his eye on us. Just play it cool, we'll turn his ass into scrap metal if he tries anything." Lynn turned back, standing upright, but with her body facing perpendicular from Peter-not knowing what he was capable of, she figured making herself a smaller target couldn't hurt. If it did come to a fight, well, punching and kicking would be out of the question. That shit would hurt. She'd probably just wait for the faculty to waste his ass. "Tin Man," Lynn said, the small (appearing even smaller with her tight suit on, as opposed to her normal baggy clothes) girl speaking with the same confidence, ready-to-throw-down tone you might've heard from Henry, "You got a problem?" Lynn subtly shifted herself, placing herself just in-between Alex and Peter.

Matthew

Matthew jumped, and quite nearly jumped into battle, when he saw the mascot of Panda Express bust through the door and tackle Adam. If he saved Amanda's dad, he was SURE to get laid, right? He was about to turn his arm into his huge enforcer of a blade, but Amanda beat him to it, sending super heated metal flying at the Panda, who he had heard talk. The Panda overall was huge, fat, and muscular, like the namesake animal the meta human took after. He was almost as big as Henry, but with the panda's build the creature had to weigh more. He leaned back against the wall and let Amanda go to work. He would step in if he needed to, but he was sure that Amanda could handle it. He leaned back against the wall as Adam sent an air blast out, and let if go right over him. As Adam introduced this new person, all he could do was mouth out the word "Idiot..." to himself at the Panda. What he had done was a terrible idea, and he had attacks thrown at him because of it.

Henry

Henry's hummed in response to Theresa, chucking to himself at her acknowledgement of what he did. "Well thank you, I-" he began, only to be cut off as a creature as large as he was burst into the room, and roared. His instincts flared, and his fight or flight reaction went crazy. Every one of his muscles grew taught and for a hair of a second he was completely still, his body changing color to match the background, his active camouflage taking over and his body becoming nearly invisible. Victoria most likely looked like she was floating. He had completely forgotten she was there.

His huge claws displayed themselves, but no one could see them. His body was hidden. He didn't want to fight something as big as he was. No apex predator did. He was scared for a moment, before he got ahold of himself. 'What are you doing?' he internally yelled at himself. He shifted back to his visible state, and watched as a few people sent attacks at the Panda while Adam got away and sent a blast of air in all directions. He reached his arm around and squeezed Victoria to him. Not enough to where it would hurt her, as he knew his strength well, but enough to where his body would take all of the force of the air, and for her to be completely covered behind his back. His tail also snaked behind Dana's wheelchair to keep her from rolling away. The blast wasn't as powerful as he had expected, but he was glad he had done something to keep everyone safe. He nearly roared in challenge to the Panda bear, his muscles expanding ever so slightly already, only for Adam to elaborate on who this was.

An animal student, much like him. But seemingly less logic bound than he was and more emotionally stimulated. Neither were bad things, just differences. He had too much respect for Adam to do that, even after not seeing him for a while. And Adam probably didn't see him a friend. But he was currently unaware of the relationship the Panda had with Adam and still had.

He relaxed, his grip on Victoria slacking and his tail coiling back up. "Sorry about that," he said. "Everyone okay? If you're scared remember he's a soft and fluffy version of me." Henry wasn't wrong. Panda bears were strong yes, but they were herbivores and had layers of protective fat and fur to keep them warm. He was reptilian, hard, sharp, and not at all fluffy. His body was covered in shark like scales that made dragging your hand the wrong way against his body a sure fire way to tear up your skin. His muscles underneath the skin were hard, taught, and predatory. If you were into that. "He's just like Winny the Pooh. Likes giving hugs." He said, smiling to the group.

Poppy Flanagan

A pink dress did sound nice, but it wouldn't be appropriate for here. Nonetheless it made Poppy even more embarrassed. Her rosy cheeks were a clear indicator. She turned away unconvinced, but uplifted up by Theresa's effort. This Shannon sounded interesting, right until the pat about being an asshole. Why must so many people be jerks... "Oh... Okay." Still if she could make easy work of a suit remodel then she would go along. It's not like she'd have to see her again if she did turn out to be mean. Then suddenly a giant bear charged across the room. Time seemed to slow down and she just started, it didn't seem real. When Theresa grabbed her hand she went along unthinking all the while still watching the scene. Things looked like they were going to get pretty rough when Amanda started shooting metal at the beast. It was all over so quickly and back to jokes on Theresa's part. Poppy however was too shocked to say anything yet.

Vespera Spindel

"No, I'm afraid not. You aren't my type." Since there was no getting through to Valjean, Vespera decided to give her antics a rest. In his arrogance he had actually hit closer to the mark than he realized. She did in fact want to get with him in a sort of way. There was something that made him who he was, the two of them weren't so different. The main thing is that he could become completely human. Without Deborah he'd be all alone, of course me might be angry at first, but once she ends it he'd eventually break down. Then she could come in and wrap him around her finger. And unlike his current she'd deliver faithfully, so long as Valjean could be a good dog. Of course there was somebody new to consider with Chris's return. "They could have shown everyone this yesterday and still said what was needed." Her train of thought was interrupted by a large charging animal marked like a panda. It took a moment for Vespera to respond. "I recognize him from a long time ago. Wonder what made him drag his paws back here." So far they didn't have much to disagree upon, until he mentioned not having class. "I don't care to demonstrate my abilities where it doesn't count, however I am interested to see toys the freshmeat are packing."

Karlie Davis

It seemed Nikki was receptive to her advice, which was a good thing in her mind. Karlie wasn't sure what degree of control her power granted her, what was though is that she'd likely get targeted for no other reason than being a threat. An attempt to take her out before she poses too much a potential problem. Amanda of course was of opposite persuasion. When Nikki commented on a beekeeper outfit she could see that working. She was preparing to respond when a giant bear came running through the doors and straight for the stage. Karlie watched it go by and thought it was the coolest thing ever, on top of being a little scared of course. "Amanda! You might not want to do that, it'll probably just get it angry!" Arg, Nikki too. I could use the costume about now to stop her... The situation was diffused quickly enough. "See he was just giving your Pops a hug... a big bear one... he should have announced himself first."

Zack King

Zack was considering walking out for a few, maybe taking a smoke. That is until a giant bear entered the mix. After the initial shock passed through him he readied himself in case it came near him. If it did it would regret it. He'd drop that oversized panda right on it's head. That's what'd he'd do. Huh, that thing looks like it weighs a lot... Still, Zack was sure he could do it. And it goes to hug the teacher... what kind of place is this? Things were plenty weird and so far he hadn't seen much of a reason to hang, other than free basic necessities. For that alone he'd stick with it. Hell, they could bring in fifty of his jungle brothers, so long as they were tame. Well maybe not not quite, but he wasn't about to show any weakness. Plus anyone that was allowed in here must be able to control themselves, at least for the most part, or else they'd have a fiasco on their hands. The one that he'd think would be the most trouble was the lizard man, who was now a different color and all armored up. Nothing that he couldn't handle, not that he wanted to tempt fate. It was the normal looking people from Zack's experience that he had to watch out for. Ones with ranged attacks he couldn't block. He'd be keeping his eyes out this 'power training session' or whatever to see who could make his life difficult.

Tetsuya Kyuuji & Asae Kyuuji & Annabella Ravencroft
Asae woke up in her bed, sitting up for a moment and moving her hair out of her face "How long it's been since i've had a bed" she smiled to herself and laid on her back, her legs on the side of the bed and her arms spread out, she yawned and sat back up. She looked at her casual clothes she had on and then she realized her big loveable fluff ball wasn't around. Standing up she went over to the bathroom and washed her face "God I missed doing that...." wiping her face off and folding the already used towel back. She walked over to her closet and looked to see weird suits, one for what seemed like Tetsuya and another one for...her? "When the hell did they get my measurements, Tetsuya'a that makes sense but me? I've never been here..." she already was on edge with going here, but Fluff Ball seemed to think that it was going to be safe here, her on the other hand not so much. She knew that Tetsuya had been here long ago, but she and him were managing on their own. Was it dangerous? Hell yes, did they sleep in a different place almost every night, if not week? Hell yes, but they were doing things on their own terms. What good was all that if they were going here to this safe place but be under more rules than when they left her father. Speaking of which...her father, she hadn't even been thinking of him, how was he doing was the question indeed to ask.

She went through her duffle bag, pulling out baggy pants that turned into leggings near the shins of the intended wearer. She then put on a grey hoodie over her t-shirt and shuffled through her bag until she got down to a long black box that had a white glowing line at the top part of it. She put the strap over her shoulder and looked around for a key of some type to lock the doors before she left, looking to the countertop Bingo, she stood up hands in pockets and took the key Wait I forgot one thing she went to the bathroom and picked up her eye patch she took off earlier to clean her face. Fitting it over her left eye, she sighed and went to the door "Play nice, try to be more...outgoing as Suya would say...yeah sure..." she said dryly before walking out into the hall and looking down the rows of doors around her "Where the hell did that man go, he didn't even give me like...directions, come on Suya, give me a sign or something next time" she smelled the air and then she smelt him, his scent was undeniably easy to distinct from humans, no matter the amount of showers he took, he always smelled like bamboo wood from the forest that surrounded her fathers estate. She walked down the hall following the smell like it was a path, putting up her hair into a messy bun, she smiled smalley towards people passing her, hoping she could avoid any conversations that were petty.

She held the strap of the long box strap on her shoulder and continued following the scent until she heard it. She wasn't sure what this school had inside but that roar sounded like a bear, whether he was injured or not, Asae began running towards the sound hoping he was okay, praying.

Annabella looked bewildered at the bear Holy fuck that could have been bad for Adam she saw relief hit the room as Adam put a stop to Amanda's attack and explained who the bear was. Tetsuya laughed hoarsely and stood up, showing his full height of 7'1 "I am sorry Adam, I just couldn't contain that roar, you don't understand how much I missed this place" He bowed apologizing again, looking to what seemed to be Adam's child interesting girl indeed, seems the Blackmores hold up to their reputation... another girl who had stepped up to attack Tetsuya, Nikki was her name, introduced herself. Tetsuya laughed and grabbed her hand for a quick shake, before letting go "Yea, I dont usually roar much, but Adam use to be a really good friend, 10 years of not seeing him does that to you I guess, nice to meet you Nikki, I am Tetsuya Kyuuji" he bowed slightly before going back next to Adam. He looked slightly towards the lizard man cracking jokes about his appearance but he was more interested in the fact that there was someone else who was seemed to be stuck in another form like him taking off his hoodie and revealing the loads of scars across his body as he sat down next to Adam. He had completely forgotten that they had appeared all over his body but to the others it showed how much he had gone through, bullet hole scars, slash scars, stab scars, you name it and he had them "Sorry again, it really is good to see you though Adam, you don't know the amount of things I've been going through and there's someone else I want you to me-" a black box was thrown at the bears head, making him turn to look at the angry Asae that was glaring at him

"Hey asshole, next time try to contain your damn roars, where the hell did that even come from? You scared me half to death, jesus" she hit him in the shoulder and looked away breathing slowly trying not to tear up.

Annabella was still trying to piece together this whole, pandaman ordeal. To her knowledge she didn't think that there was many like Henry who were stuck in an animalistic form. She knew their were others but this guy was big, Henry was maybe two or three inches taller than him, but size wise this guy was bigger, How do you even feed something like him, he was a plant eating species but something was telling her that he ate more than just plants, he had a carnivores mouth with those teeth and claws. Than as if the situation couldn't get any weirder, this brave soul decided to...not only throw something at the guys head, but punch him to? How was she not dead was the question indeed to find out.

Tetsuya looked at Asae and smiled "speak of the devil, this seems to be my soon to be wife, with what's that? Emotions? Oh gosh I thought this girl was the stone cold sam-" he tried to grab her arm, but she stepped back and crossed her arms looking away.

"die" she punched him again and again and again until he couldn't contain his laughter. Asae realized there was an audience and sighed, looking over to the man standing next to them "Sorry that this Idiot disturbed your class, I'm Asae Kyuuji, and I am going to assume you are Adam Blackmore?" she bowed slightly like Tetsuya from before and stepped back, turning and picking up the black box putting the strap on her shoulder again. Tetsuya looked at the students in front of them and then back to Adam "We'll be over there I guess, I'll try to talk to you at a better time, Im really sorry again to disturb your class" he walked over to Asae and whispered something in her ear. Tetsuya sighed and picked her up, putting her on his shoulder and walked over next to Annabella. Annabella looked over at Tetsuya and Asae whispering of sorts "It's nice to meet you two, my name is Annabella Ravencroft, I teach psychology here and can be a counselor if need be. Don't be afraid to pop by in my room when im teaching, it be nice to see some new faces come by" she smiled trying to make small talk with the two.

Tetsuya smiled instantly and whispered back "It's nice to meet you Miss Annabella?" he wasn't trying to assume but she didn't seem to be married, no ring marks on her finger.

Annabella laughed "Yes yes, just miss, haven't been a Mrs in a long time" Tetsuya chocked not meaning to bring up the fact she had been divorced.

"I'm so sorry I didn-" Bell laughed and waved him off.

"It's more than fine, she okay?" she pointed up towards Asae who was straight faced staring at Adam.

Tetsuya tapped her leg gently with his claw "Hoi, someone is talking to you Sae, lets not be disrespectful" She looked down almost out of a trance.

"Hm? what? oh sorry right, Hi my name is Asae Kyuuji, it's nice to meet yooouuuuu?" she prolonged the you, not knowing what her name and feeling totally awkward.

"Annabella Ravencroft, I go by Izzy Raven though, and it's plenty nice to meet you" she smiled at the weird couple and it was nice to see they were together. It certainly seemed hard to be in a relationship with a Panda man bear, but Asae seemed strong, she had a way she carried herself and Tetsuya seemed be gentle with her. Asae jumped down from his shoulder and stood on the other side of Tetsuya and intertwined her hand with his paw. She pulled him down slightly and stood on her tippy toes kissing his cheek and smiling small for little people to see. Tetsuya looked down and kissed her forehead "Why did you bring that with you by the way? Nobody knows what that is, but still..." She shrugged and only shoulder the box tighter.

"You might trust this island, but you know me, and no way in hell am I leaving this thing in our room, which hey by the way, Fluff ball if you're going to leave me in a bed in an unknown place to me without leaving me a note, I hit you harder than just now" Asae looked at him slightly annoyed by the fact he left her without any warning.

Tetsuya rubbed the back of his head where Asae had thrown the box "That really did hurt Sae, sorry I was just happy to be back, we're finally safe and you were able to sleep in peace for the first time, in a long time no?" she nodded and Tetsuya rubbed his finger on the back of her hand reassuringly.

Sylvia Bertoose, Jake & Gabe Valos.

Heh. What a great day this has been. The twins met two of their friends they haven't seen in awhile. Maybe they'll see how training is like. Hopefully it won't be a snorefest or a dickmeasuring contest like they think it would be. And - oh dear god...

PF Change's mascot just rolled into the room and caused a shitstorm. However, it didn't make the Valos freakout like everyone else did. Jake and Gabe merely raised an eyebrow, and watched. Adam pacified the situation just as fast. Well, he had good intentions, but honestly, he should have announced himself. Then a chick tossed a black box at his head, which honestly was just topping on this stupid cake. They were honestly hoping that Kung Fu Panda would eat her, but it turned out this girl knew him... In fact, it was his girlfriend.

"Ooooooooh, it's a panda-bear!" Sylvia loudly shouted with child-like glee - Or just being a smart ass. She grinned deviously. "How cute."

Gabe rolled her eyes and put a hand on her hip. "'Soon to be wife'? Who the flying fuck would marry that?" She asked, no one in particular, dumbfounded.

"C'mon, Gabe," Jake said, amused as anyone can get, "You know some people are just into that." He snickered like a child. He shrugged, smirking deviously, "We all have our own special... tastes..."

"I like your line of thought," Sylvia says with a smug grin on her face. "There's probably a sex-crazed maniac out there who jacks off twelve times a day to animal-meta porn."

"I sincerely hope that doesn't exist...." Gabe facepalmed, groaning.

"Everything does." Jake valiantly pointed a finger at Gabe, "Welcome to the dark world of perversion, curiosity, loneliness, and the internet."

"... Yiff, yiff." Sylvia said.

"Who knows," Jake started off, shrugging sarcastically again, "Maybe she'll have him dress up like Kung Fu Panda for their honeymoon."

"Thanks for the image." Gabe says

"Glad to be of assistance." Jake continues snarking.

Jaska Din Valos.

The Pandaman charging into the room and caused a rather negative reaction from Jaska. The large beast... charging into the room and pouncing on his prey... It activated instincts inside of the boy that were kept away. His blood started literally boiling, Stephen would notice that his heat just went up a few degrees. He flipped and perched himself on the back of his chair like a gargoyle, leaning forward so it doesn't fall backwards. Using his claws to lock him into place. He stared down Pandaman with his wings hyper-expanded to make himself look larger and more intimidating. His instincts told him to run. Panda-man was far superior to Jaska in the physical area, where the young boy was far more agile and fast. A short fight ensured, which resulted in Adam calming everyone down. After everyone was settled, Jaska did not calm down. He was on guard the whole time. He was not in control of his instincts unlike, say Vespera or Valjean (Who more or less rejected them).

Stephen was otherwise ignored.

Deborah Lillian Termellio, & Shannon Jacqueline Balore.

Wait, Red killed somebody? The thoughts ran through Deborah's head (It is incorrect, Red feels responsible for his father's death). This honestly changes Deborah's whole initial perception of Red. What happened to his father? What makes Red feel so guilty about it (His scar is connected to it)? Accident? Mistake? So many questions... The more she thought about it, the more she got all so curious. There were questions, and they all had answers. The answer that can come to her in an instant. She couldn't give up on Red when she has so much to decode...

(Your curiosity will kill you someday, Deborah)

Shannon crossed her arms and gave Red the evil eye. A quiet way of telling him to 'Get the fuck away from us this instant'. He just said he ended a life, in the most casually bullshit way possible. Then he wants to go on a merry adventure with them? Well he can forget that. She remembered that she and Deborah are telepathically connected. I do not trust this child. In her eyes, everyone has an ulterior motive, and something they want to keep hidden from the world... But Red, he just calmly drops that he murdered someone. Maybe Shannon would have been more inclined to believe him if he was a little bit more emotional about it.

There's more to it than you think. Deborah mentally replied.

I hope so. I'm keeping my eye on him. If he tries anything I'll strap him up tighter than a fiend at a BDSM party. Shannon replied.

Chris got rather riled up... All for the wrong reasons. The display really made the girl roll their eyes (In perfect synchronization with each other). If anyone should slam him against the wall, it should be Deborah, for admitting he killed someone... Not going on about how emotions make you weak (Emotions make you human). Abandoning your emotions makes you... Deborah can't even begin to describe it. It ended when Red stormed off.

Deborah started shaking her head. Honestly, Red was a wreck. she was quickly starting to realize that. They were doing so well when they first met. Oh well. She peered towards Shannon, and saw that her lover already hated him. Chris was still here, and there wasn't much they could say to him. Deborah shrugged....

... And a bestial roar filled her ears (High-end Bestial type, not a sign of aggression) and her head darted to the door. A Panda rolled through the doors like a tank... It was sudden and surprising to say the least. Being used to such things, Deborah didn't bat an eyelash. Probably because she knew his true intentions (He hasn't seen Adam in a long time and got overexcited) and they weren't hostile. That said, she couldn't help but roll her eyes when someone attacked him - It was Amanda... Honestly wasn't that surprising. The girl was definitely not smart at all, but from the eyes of someone who wasn't as informed as she was, she could see where Amanda was coming from. But it's all impulsiveness when you realize that if Panda was going to attack him, Adam would have been dead by now.

It was no surprise that Adam broke up the situation fast. At this point, she was expecting him to bitch and moan at everyone, but things went differently. Tetsuya (Old student, acquaintance of Adam) turned out to be quite a friendly fellow. Which Deborah was happy to know, this guy was a tank. He'd be hellish if he was violent. Then some random chick (His girlfriend, aggravated by his actions) tossed a box at his head. If Deborah didn't get the specifics, she would presume that she was stupid. There was plenty more to deduce from this....

Shannon gave Deborah a sly smirk. Mentally sending a message; ... He gives me an idea for the next costume night.

The question caught Deborah off guard, because she was so focused. But, she returned the gesture and smiled suggestively at Shannon, Oh, what is it, love?

I'll be the terrible panda stalking the woods, and you'll be the lost maiden wearing a qípáo.

Oh, you're just awful Shannon. Deborah replied, with a giggle.

Adam Leo Blackmore, & Nikki Biyung.

Adam was glad to see Tetsuya again. Despite.

Dear god, please don't let him tear my arm off. Nikki was caught off guard when Tetsuya tried to to shake her hand. There was a mixture of fear and politeness - She didn't want to come off as rude, but at the same time, he was a fucking massive animal. "Uh, nice to meet you." He turned out to be no more dangerous than Henry. Perhaps she overreacted just a little bit when Tetsuya rushed him. He even bowed. That was... Nikki couldn't put her finger on it. It was like he was trained, and knows when to show respect - That train of thought was hilarious brought to an end when someone tossed a box at Tetsuya's head. "... Hey!" Nikki's head darted towards the chick that did it... A girl, had to be a year or two older than Nikki, with pink hair and an eyepatch, and looking pissed as hell.

Adam was just about ready to snap at Asae. She introduced herself as Asae Kyuuji... So that's what Tetsuya was up to all these years. "Yes, I am Adam." He was quick to add on, "Please do not throw objects around." He tipped his glasses at her, giving her a less than pleased look.

The second Tetsuya announced that he and this girl were getting married... Nikki had to double-take. Her gaze bounced back and forth from Pandaman and Asae. Looking confused. For the love of god, does EVERYONE use their powers for one means of perversion or another?! She asked herself the question. "... Okay." Was all Nikki could say in response. It was an odd romance, like who the fuck would date someone who tosses things at your cranium? Love is a strange thing, there were so many layers that she did not know about. An alien concept to Nikki.

"If you are going to attend class, then I suggest that both of you put on your suits." Adam took a step aside, planting a hand on Tetsuya's shoulder. "... I believe you have a new suit, by the way." He started walking forward. He loudly cleared his throat and announced, using his powers to carry his voice through the room, "Alright, everyone, time for lollygagging is officially over...." He dramatically said, "... Class is now in session."

Nikki awkwardly pointed both thumbs at the door. "Um.... I need to get more bugs."

"You may. Be fast. Everyone else, follow me." Adam started walking towards the stairs of the room, and lead the rest of his class into the training room.

Power Training Class.

Everyone gathered in the middle of the training room. The students were lined up, side by side, facing Adam (With Annabelle and the rest of the instructors behind him). He stood there, hands folded behind his back, clenching that clipboard tightly. Completely silent - As was the room, except for some slight chatter. He suddenly looked at the clipboard and written down a few things. Before he announced, "Alright class, we have three exercises for the day." At this point, Nikki ran into the room, with yet another gym bag full of bugs.

"The first exercise will be the usual." He pulled a remote from his back pocket, and pressed a button. Behind him, the room had rearranged itself. A large, round, pit of metal was formed, with two sets of stairs leading down into it. "Sparring exercises are an option available to the. Whoever wishes to, head down into the pit and engage in some friendly sparring matches. Faust, Leon, and Megan will be watching over you very carefully... I have to iterate that the second that we tell you to stop, you will stop."

Megan, Leon, and Faust stood by the entrance to the pit. Megan was the first to speak, "Talk to us before you go down there. We wouldn't want any of you getting hurt." She had an over the top cheery attitude in her voice. It also brought up the question if she was being sarcastic or not.

Truth be told; this was Adam's way of separating the students he cares about (i.e The people who wish to develop their power for the better), from the ones he does not (i.e Arrogant jackasses like Valjean who cared about nothing more than fighting).

"For those uninterested with that... We will be engaging in sessions where I will assess your abilities and help you improve on them." Adam was hoping that a majority of the students choose this option, there were some people he wanted to check up on. But he had to continue explaining what they were going to do next. "Then there's the team exercises, everyone will be split up into two teams of my choosing and will engage in a variety of activities... First one will be simple, I assume that you are all familiar with capture the flag? There will be two bases, and a flag in the center of the field, and the first person to bring it back to their base will score a win for their team."

He nodded his head. Looking at the students, smiling warmly, "I would tell you the second exercise, but it is something special I have cooked up." Indeed, Adam was pushing this new exercise for years... It requires a very big field. "I won't spoil it." He started walking away from the sparring ring, "Now, whoever wishes for some hands on training, please come with me. Miss Ravencroft will be assisting me for today."

The cast split up into two groups. With Dana, Theresa, Gabe, Jake, Jaska, Nikki, Deborah, & Shannon going along with Adam for his brand of training.

Amanda, Sylvia, Valjean, & Matthias went towards the sparring ring for some action.

Adam stood in front of his students, clearing his throat. He needs a first volunteer! He knew that many students here were reluctant to show their power in front of the students, but he needed to get something done. He tipped his glasses, "Now, who wants to go first...?"

Atticus Fowler

Atticus had taken much longer than everyone else to put on his protective suit, so when he showed up, he was unaware of what everyone was talking about, and for most of the past events, he had been trying to merely familiarize himself with his surroundings. He hadn’t spoken to anyone yet, mostly because he would admit to himself that he was somewhat shy or mistrustful of strangers, largely because he had developed a habit of avoiding people. It wasn’t a good habit, and he didn’t exactly want to be alone all the time, but there were those days when a person needed space. He had used a private dressing room to get ready, and it was unlikely anyone until then had known he was even there. He had also used the dressing room because he didn’t want to subject anyone to the freakish display of him transforming into his creature form.

When he emerged from the room, he had carefully stood aside while all the events took place, somehow managing to dismiss them as perhaps typical crazy things that would happen in a place full of meta-humans. He was very good at keeping calm, or rather, just not reacting in a dramatic fashion. When the actual training session started, he chose to go with the group relating to power assessment and improvement. He didn’t get the point of sparring, and he honestly thought that if people did violent things in the school, it could have a negative outcome. He didn’t want to look bad if he lost, but if he won, he would make a rival who hated him, most likely.

Codi Bailey

Codi had taken longer to put on her suit, as she had wrestled with trying to work around the enormous parasitic urchin/brittle star creature that was permanently attached to her back. She had arrived in the group and silently watched the events, messing with her hair because she couldn’t wear her scarf, and remained silent, in a fashion similar to her best friend Atticus. She was unnerved by the turn of events, but chose not to react, although it took a lot of willpower for her to keep Reef, the parasite, from trying to swat something with one of its arms. She immediately chose to go with the power improvement group, because she didn’t want to fight, and she felt more comfortable with someone she knew.
