I agree with Kho.

I wouldn't be opposed to restarting WiR:1861, but I'd prefer we either continue WiR: 1900, or start a new one completely. Maybe one around the time of the French Revolution and the rise of Napoleon? I don't know how well that would work, but it sounds interesting to me. I'd probably be cool with whatever though. I was just really excited for WiR: 1900 and it sucks to see it end so quick.

WiR 1814? 1804? Both are interesting start dates...

If we restart I want to play as Britain, I don't mind the time period. We ruled the seas for a looooooong time ;D

I like 1814 just because that's near the end of the "first generation" of American politics, Madison and Monroe were the last presidents who were old enough to have been actively involved in the American Revolution. After them you have people like Jackson, J.Q. Adams, Calhoun, Webster, and Clay. Also, War of 1812 is wrapping up in 1814 so Sol can hold that up over my head.

I'm also starting to lean for the idea of opening a WiR 1814.

I'd be cool with it. I'd probably pick up Austria again because why the hell not.

Why are we leaving this behind? After so much work that I had to do? That's unfair to me and others who had to work hard to get their country at the spotlight.

@Rare We're not leaving it behind, Outcast is still the GM and once he returns we will resume. At the moment, other players are not interested in continuing this without Outcast, and they are far more interested in the idea of starting another WiR in a different time period. While admittedly I don't like the idea of an earlier time period, seeing 1861, 1900 and 1920 as being by far the most interesting start dates, I am completely open to an 1814 RP, though my knowledge of the history of the time is very limited - except maybe on the Ottoman Empire, Egypt, Persia and Afghanistan.

I'd honestly just like to start a WiR and actually finish it. So far I've had no luck.

Well, it's not as if you were going to play any other nation in any other time period.

Why 1814? It doesn't make sense and its pointless to make the timeline. I say do a 1920 WiR. Plus, I know no other country besides Brazil and the major counries, which is un fair to me

Just google the country you want to play and read up on their history around the time period. It doesn't take a whole lot of effort.
