Phil slid in-between the two rocks into the cave that he had found early. Phil looked around at the people in the cave that he had decided to join forces with, although very reluctant to do so at first. "First, It'll be good idea to stick in pairs." Phil said in his anti-social demeanor in response to Conor's suggestion in going out an looking. Phil trailed off cause the talk of first aid reminded him of something, "Paige, can you take a look at my face? Anyway, Conor." Phil cleared his throat in order to organize his thoughts. "Conor, I agree we probably should look for others, but going out there alone is a suicide mission. You need to go with another person. Preferably someone with combat experience. So, we need to wait for him to wake up so we can figure out pairs." Phil sighed. "Whatever...you can kill yourself if you want, but at least explain to me what the Hell is going on. Do any of you know why I am here or better yet who the Hell am I? Well besides my name...I just want some answers."

Mars woke up with a groan, from what he felt he had at least cracked some ribs and he appeared to be carried by some of the people who were in the clearing earlier. They were also in a cave now which seemed much better than where they were before. One of the men said something about "him waking up" so Mars assumed that the man was referring to himself. Mars coughed up a bit of blood "I'm awake, not sure if I'm alive but I'm awake." a weak attempt at humor but anything he did right now would be weak.

Luca let out a blood chilling howl as she pranced around the hunting ground, scattering many of the remaining humans. Now all she had to do was let what's-his-face demon find some guy and she can get in with her life. As a lycan, especially now in her wolf form, she had a pretty good sense of smell. She sniffed through the air and on the ground around her. It was easy to detect the human smell, as well as the smell of blood. Perhaps she ought to peruse the fleeing group of humans, maybe scout around for this guy the demon was looking for. With another howl Luca began to follow her nose, sneaking about new the cave. Maybe she would hear something interesting about these humans.

She decided, for the time being, to morph back into her human form. She found this form much smaller and sneaker. As a wolf she couldn't help but howl every so often for fun. Luca looked down at her now human hands, wiping away some blood around her mouth. Wolves sure are messy eaters.

"You are most defnitely not going to go out there on your own, Connor. Yes, we need to find others, but we need to be smart about it. We aren't going to do anyone any good withpout the aid of weapons, which we will likely have to make ourselves if we can't find any soon. I will looke at your face shortly," she said to Phil as she took off her light jean jacket. "You lay still till we can figure out he extent of your injuries." she said to the other young man (Mars), placing her jacket over his chest. she then took off her button down shirt, leaving her with her black tank top and she moved to Phill and looked at his face. "I can't do much without a kit, but we don't have that option. You need stitches, I want you to hold this shirt to your face in the mean time. If I had tape or adhesive I could do a qick fix. We need water, for both of you." she indicated both men. Paige held the shirt to Phil's face until he took over then pushed back some hair from her forehead. "This whole situation is shit." she mumbled. "Connor, I need you to see if you can find water, a running stream, not a pond. make sure the coast is clear and don't go any further than five minutes away." she moved to the other man, lifted her jacket off of him and looked him in the eyes. "Can you tell me where it hurts the most?"

The Manager gave a simple shrug at the question of Sarah, clearly not finding the information so secretive. “She’s completing inspections on the Canadian trafficking programs. She did give notice on a temporary delay though due to an encounter with a couple hunters as she does enjoy them as pets,” he said, glancing over another report he received. “She said she was also collecting several ingredients for her specimen she’s been developing for Nixon. She’s has been taking great care of him.” The Manager looked over at Lyre as she began playing her instrument. “Have you tested the instrument on a hunter? You know I have yet to see it used on a stronger mind like one of theirs.”
Connor gave a glare at Phil as he was reprimanded by...whoever this guy was. “Who the hell are you anyway? You don’t know who I am hell, you don’t even know who you are!” Connor was ready to rise in his rant when the man woke up and Paige was looking over the other two. Calm down, he isn’t your enemy, Connor thought, taking a breath. When Paige asked Connor to go out for water he gave a nod. “I’ll get it for you, and don’t worry I’ll be careful.” Connor stepped out of the cave, keeping an eye out in front of him as he searched for a stream.
Nixon roamed around the area looking at all the female human candidates. He had decided to stop his killing spree, seeing as the humans were now fully spread out. Killing humans in that way was too easy anyway. No, he’d rather wait.

Spotting another girl Nixon got down and blinked up into a tree above her. She was busy catching her breath from running. The vampire observed for a while, watching what she did. The girl seemed intelligent and fit enough, probably enough to meet the standards of what the Manager desired. “Time for an introduction,” Nixon grinned, blinking down next to her.

The girl immediately took off running as soon as she noticed Nixon. The vampire shook his head and blinked in front of her, folding his arms. “Now now, no use of trying to outrun the out runnable right?” Nixon scolded. The girl fell down onto her back, scrambling back up and turning.

She didn’t even get back on her feet as Nixon appeared in front of her. “Come on dearie, I’m not even going to kill you,” he said gently, touching her shoulder. “Well, not me but you know I’m actually not sure what they want you for. Let’s find out!” Nixon blinked them both away and down into the complex.

The girl was so stunned by the two suddenly inside of the decorative complex that she resisted very little as Nixon blinked them inside of the Manager’s office. “Here you are Boss!” Nixon said, presenting the girl. He noticed next to him was the non-singing siren Lyre. He gave a wave and a grin. “Oh hey Lyre, haven’t seen you for a while!”

As the manager asked if she had used it against a hunter, he nodded her head no. "I can't say I have. Hunters make for very rotten company, and I doubt some of them even know how to be obedient and are nothing more than strays with a sob story." As Nixon entered the room, Lyre stuck her nose up a bit. Clearly displeased. "Speaking of not knowing obedience if it smacked him across the head." Lyre remarked. Lyre wasn't quite sure why he brought the Manager a girl, however he figured it would be amusing to say the least.

Edward smiled, while not quite the response he needed for full access to use his magic on him, due to the clause about it getting away from their. It was enough to teleport him, which was a start. With a snap, he teleported his now prisoner into a cage in a corner of the room. The bars went from the floor directly to the ceiling and wall to wall, and strangely didn't have a door. The cage was mostly made up empty space, even though it took up about a quarter of the a very large room. It was just two solid walls from behind, two walls of bars to the front, a mat and a bucket.

Edward, who was sitting in a very comfortable recliner that was facing away from the cage tried to dramatic swivel the chair around and face his prisoner. "Well to your new home, Though, look on the bright side, they was going to kill you and eat you, I am just going to make you my slave for the rest of your existence." he said, trying to say that last part as quickly as possible.

"You see, we can do this the easy way, where all you have to do is say: "I allow you to do with as you please for the rest of my life. And that you may you use gifts on me freely." or we can do it the hard way. You see, I could unleash a few big strays in your little cage and let them maul you a little bit until you agree to say it. Or, I could tazer you until you pee yourself, and maybe a little after you do. So may things I can do. Please, pick the hard way." he said, with a sadistic grin across his face.

Phil glared at Connor. "Whatever..." he replied. "This is going to be a drag." He said to nobody in-particular. Phil's anger swelled. He knew that he would be able to beat the kid a centimeter from death. How? Who was he? Connor was right, he had no clue who he was. "Shit..." Phil grunted rubbing his head with the shirt he had been given by Paige. The cut along his face was throbbing. He stood up and started to pace back and forth from the cave. The face of the girl from his dream was burned into his head. "Who are you!" He commanded himself to remember. "It's like the back of my mind has turned into a giant game of Wheel of Fortune." Phil smirked at the joke in his head.

Phil returned to his thoughts. He remembered waking up in the field, obviously that was about an hour ago. Next, Phil started trying to remember anything before waking up in the field. He had this vivid thought of following someone in the dead of night carrying a knife. His memory failed him, because Phil then remembered somehow being in a dark room. Standing in front of a dark object, brandishing the knife. There was a sudden swift of movement behind him and he wheeled around...He remembered the face of the girl from his dream. "Rose" he blurted out. He then felt light headed and slumped against the wall of the cave. Phil said nothing. He had come so far in remembering so little.

Mars took slowly took a deep breath, "It's mostly my right leg, I don't how know crippling the damage is, but i should hopefully still be able to help." He watched the argument unfold between Phil and Connor somewhat dissapointed, hunters should know better than to act like this, espically when there were more important things to do like not dying. He hoped Conner didn't get caught looking for water, every member in their sad little group was important

Luca watched the humans in the cave for awhile, almost feeling sorry for them. She would have to ask the manager to perhaps giving the humans some weapons next year. Or at least scattering some medical supplies in an unfairly high up place. Like a roll of bandages at the top of a tree. She held in a laugh as she thought about this, it would be pretty hilarious watching humans break their limbs trying to get some useless supplies. After awhile, one of them exited the cave, mentioning something about needing to find water. She frowned for a moment. This was the Connor guy the demon was looking for...right? She could attack him, just to mess with the demon. This plan was quickly destroyed, she didn't need a pissed off demon torturing her for the rest of her life. Luca knew this hunting ground like the back of her hand. And with her hunger momentarily subsided thanks to the NPC she ate, maybe messing with this guy would be fun.

Even in her human form she was quiet as she silently followed the human, darting from tree to tree.

Paige nodded to Mars reply. "It looks pretty banged up." She agreed, looking at his leg. She felt down his leg searching for any major fractures. "everything feels in place but you may have a hairline fracture. We should splint it until we can tell for sure."She said as she glanced over at Phil who had slumped against the cave wall. "I'll be right back." She peeked her head out of the cave entrance, it was clear, then she exited. She found some relatively straight branches on the ground then looked around a bit more and found some vines falling from the trees. She ripped them down and returned to the cave, setting things beside the as of yet unnamed young man and braided together the vines so they would be stronger. "I know I'm not one to talk," She said to Phil, "But you need to loosen up on Connor. You can probably tell he is is scared shirtless enough already, so he doesn't need you reprimanding him at every juncture. None of us know why we are here on how we got here, we are all scared, but he is just a kid for pete's sake and just a baby when it comes to being a hunter. Give him a break ok? If your going to be an ass at least be one to someone who can take it." She finished braiding the vines then straightened Mars' leg a bit before putting the splints alongside his leg and tying it. "Does it hurt anywhere else?" She asked.

This is going better then I thought it would go. Rand is going to be too distracted trying to find something to move that giant rock, this would be the best time for me to get away. Now how will I get away from him. "Rand...I can go look for a giant tree branch or something that might help you lift that rock up." That's perfect Pan! Then after I get that blonde bimbo, I can come back and make an accuse of getting lost or something. I'm so clever sometimes I even scare myself. "There might be something down in those bushes, and don't worry I think I got over my shock I'll be able to watch out for myself. You just stay here in the clear." Now walk down towards the bushes, don't turn until Rand's out of sight. Almost there, this is going to be a marvelous hunt.

Mars responded "No I think that's the worst of it, thanks for patching me up. I don't know any of your name's, mine is Mars." He moved his leg a little experimentally and was pleased by how good the makeshift splint job was, having someone with someone medical experience was proving very helpful so far.

"What the hell?!" Azuriel backed up until his back hit the wall. Yes he said that he wanted to get out of there, but nowhere did he said that he's going to let himself get imprisoned in some bloody cage. If he heard that he was going to be a slave for the rest of his life, then he didn't acknowledge it since he was pacing like a wild animal. Pacing was the only way he was going to see the entire room and the person who imprisoned him. "No! I will not say those words just to satisfy your twisted needs." Azuriel growled when he noticed that the man looks like an albino like him, but he should know by now that looks can be decieving. "You can go to hell, I'm not going to make it easy for you. You can beat me until I go unconscious, its not like you can cause my amnesia to get amnesia."

The Manager gave a simple shrug at Lyre’s remark. “I see, though I’d still like to see its effects on them,” he said, then turned to Nixon as he entered. “Thank you Nixon, you may leave now.” Nixon was about to say something but the Manager gave a small look, making the vampire leave.

The Manager looked at the human girl that Nixon brought, giving a reassuring smile. While he wasn’t able to use his power on humans, he had grown accustomed to his general persuasion. “Please miss I assure you that you are safe while you are here. In due time, I can get you out of here. I just need some info from you, OK?”

The girl gave a gentle nod, staring up at the Manager. “My name is Allie. I...I...live in Salem, Utah. Please...can I talk to my parents?”

The Manager gave a nod, but then a frown. “I wish I could but we are in an area that blocks outside communication. As soon as we get out of here we’ll contact them OK? But first I need their names…”

The girl began spurting out information, clinging onto her hope to get out. “Thank you, thank you,” the Manager said. “Now, this gentleman here will escort you to a room. As soon as we are able, we’ll bring you back home.” A guard approached the girl and led her out of his office. The Manager turned back to Lyre. “She’s an experiment for Isaac. Was there anything else you wanted?”
Connor made a full circle around and checked the area before continuing to head off for water. He figured there would be some kind of stream nearby. Looking behind him, Connor wondered if leaving some kind of trail to follow back would be a good idea. No, if he was attacked he wouldn’t want the supernatural to follow the nice trail to the rest. He’d have to just remember certain landmarks.

After walking for several minutes, Connor still hadn’t even heard a source of water. He supposed he just wasn’t in a good location. A slope of some kind should increase his chances. The hunter continued walking, focused on finding water.
Rand looked over at Penny suggested to find a branch. Rand slightly grimaced, worried about splitting apart, but she was already going. “Alright, be careful!” Rand shouted after her. The hunter turned back to the rock, giving a heavy breath. Right, cave. Shift rock then seal. The branch can help for access when the day comes so I can look for Connor, Rand thought. “Penny? You all good over there?”

"So the fun way." Edward said smiling. "Well, while I have eternity to do what I please, I would rather spend no more than an hour on a replaceable foot servant like you're going to be if you're not dead by the hour. So I have the prefect way of convincing you." Magic flew through the air, it was apparent this air was highly reactive to magic and most likely by design. The energy was almost tangible.

The metal bars expanded and became clear as they turned from metal into a reinforced glass. It looked like an over-sized and under decorated terrarium. A table appear at the corner of the glass encasement and Edward flipped an hourglass down on the table as it started to tick away, and as it did, the room his prisoner was in began to fill with sand very slowly but actively.

"You have one hour to make up your mind before that hourglass runs out and so does your oxygen as you either get choked by sand or crushed by it against the ceiling, or perhaps buried by it. So you can die a very horrible death with your pride, or you can shallow it and not shallow sand and live." he said this rather casually as if this was an everyday mundane event." he said as he sat down on his chair watching as the sands slowly started to fill the room and his victims reactions. "I also guess that I should be fair and tell you that it is very possible you could die before the hour is up, the hour just marks when the room is completely filled with sand. So I would think quickly."
_____________________________________________________________
Lyre nodded her head no, "I merely stayed because you said you might need something more of me. If you request me to leave Mr. Manager, she said with due respect and unsarcastically, I will gladly leave. I must of misunderstood you when said you might have another job for me soon." she said. As she got up and collected her instrument and placed it back on her back

Phil glared at Paige. He hated the fact he was being scolded for common logic and survival skills. "Whatever..." he sighed standing himself up. "You are all talking about being a hunter. What is being hunter?" Phil asked calmly. "If you haven't noticed, I have no fucking clue who I am!" Phil yelled flaring up. "So, don't go around expecting me to understand what you mean until you all actually explain yourself. Are you hiding something from me or what?" Phil was right in the face Paige. He was angry at her, Connor, Rand, but mostly he was angry at the world. "It was a mistake coming here...In the end you're on your own anyway. I'd be fine by myself. I, for some uncanny reason, have all the skills I need to survive." Phil needed to leave. He couldn't cope with anyone. "Whatever..." was the last thing he said to Paige before throwing her shirt on the cave floor and walking out into the the forest on his own. The cut on his face had mostly stopped bleeding. He decided to help Connor find water. Better yet, find it on his own and get out of the group. He looked at the vegetation around him and saw that the trees and shrubs were growing to the North, meaning, at least he thought, that there should be a water source towards the North. He walked for what seemed like forever to him, when in reality it was probably only half an hour. In the distance he saw a figure of a young man.

Phil walked over to the young man. "Hey..." He said a bit cold and started walking with him. "I'm here to help you find water." He stated. He checked the vegetation to see the direction in which they were growing and noticed that they were going towards the East. "Water should be that way" Phil said walking off. After about twenty minutes Phil saw a little creek. "Well...There's water, but not a lot."

Azuriel looked up when he felt something falling on his head and instantly regretted it, though he felt relieved that he didn't decide to torture him by ripping his earrings out until he gave in. He really don't want anymore scars. While the room was filling up with sand he spent his time trying to find a way out of here. As soon as the sand got up to his stomach was when he started to panic. He was able to stay on top of the moving sand until it had trapped him in place. Every time he tried to dig himself out, more sand will take its place. Somehow it was like the sand was pushing him up towards the ceiling. "Stop this, please! I was told that my car accident almost killed me, and one near death experience is enough for me." He started to plead when he could almost touch the ceiling with his hands.

Edward was busying himself in a book, as he excepted the hour-glass to take an hour until five minutes later the boy was already screaming for help. When he looked up, he noticed the hourglass was almost up. He immediately snapped his fingers and it feel to its side, sand stop filling into the room. "The bloody hour-glass was suppose to take bloody hour to work. And fair's fair. He took the hourglass and forced the sand down until it was back his chest with his legs stuck. "But now now, who said anything about near-death. I am giving you an hour, or you just going to die. I really should look into fixing this stupid thing, however this should work for now. I will give you the rest of your fifty minutes to complicate not dying or dying and then I will just turn it back on its bottom and let it fill up as much it will fill up as fast or slow as the bloody thing wants. If you wish to not to die, I just signing this." as he conjured a piece of paper, a contract, and a pen into his reach conveniently on top of the sand and some how not sinking into it. The contract basically said that the person who signs agrees that Edward may use what magic he pleases on them.

Paige stood there in shock. All she wanted to do was deck this guy and give him a nice verbal lashing but he left before she could say anything. "What a dick!" She said picking up her shirt and shaking it to remove the dust. "Can you believe him?!" She said to Mars. "Never mind. Don't worry about it." She sat on a rock and exhaled heavily through her mouth, blowing her bangs out of her face. "This is ridiculous."

Lyre nodded her head no, "I merely stayed because you said you might need something more of me. If you request me to leave Mr. Manager, she said with due respect and unsarcastically, I will gladly leave. I must of misunderstood you when said you might have another job for me soon." she said. As she got up and collected her instrument and placed it back on her back.

The Manager gave a look over at Lyre. "Ah yes, excuse me I had forgotten," he said, turning back to his computer. "Because of Sarah's absence I need a temporary 'caretaker' for Nixon. The job shouldn't be too hard as she should be back soon anyway. I'm honestly unsure if you know about his condition but his mind was been beginning to shatter. To fix this Sarah produced a temporary concoction to heal him." The Manager indicated the shelf. "If you notice him breaking down or spontaneously fainting then please inject him with the serum. If he begins to whisper or say strange things inject him again and it should stop. Other than that he's easy to handle. I'll have another job for you soon so remember to stay on your comms."

Connor gave a simple glance at Phil as the man approached him. The hunter was about to say something but held back. Eventually Phil led them to water and spoke the problem aloud. "Yeah, and no way to gather it either. What if-" Connor looked over to see a bucket sitting next to the creek. He got up and started creeping over to it. "Well that's certainly...convenient, hey Phil can you start damming the water? I think we can use this." As soon as Connor touched the bucket, Nixon suddenly blinked in behind Phil. The vampire grabbed the man then threw him across the stream.

"Well that was easy. You know I wish I had one of those buttons..." Nixon said, giving a grin. The vampire blinked over in front of Phil and drew his dagger. "Ready for round two? I really wanted to improve the artwork on your face." Nixon tapped Phil with his foot and upon contact blinked them again. They both ended up far above the stream, and Nixon stepped back.

Connor stared up at the two as Phil was taken. What should he do? He had the urge to help but he felt like there was no way and he'd just add to the corpse pile. Phil was likely already dead now. Connor stared at the bucket. Fill the water, run back, he thought. The vampire would likely be busy messing with Phil so now he could manage to escape. Connor grabbed the bucket and bent down, beginning to fill it up.
