Second...Well.

Name: Chikako Nakajima
Nickname: Chika
Age: 14
Biological Sex: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Chikako is extroverted and confident, never shying from an obstacle. However, she is rather naive, almost to the point of harming her, as she was raised and had a sheltered life. Deriving off of that, she likes to read and toy with instruments, creating melodies improvised without being able to recreate them later. She has friends nut often branches out for new friends.
Reason for Pact: Her mother became ill with a great sickness and Chikako prayed for her mothers health.
Bio: Chikako came from a sheltered family with rich parents. One day, as she struck fourteen, her mother caught a sickness that was hazardous to her health. By her mothers hospital bed, Chikako made her wish and ever since then, a week ago, Chikako has been a magical girl.
Magic/Abilities: Chikako's main ability is healing herself and others. She can also regenerate, albeit slowly.
Weapons: Medical tools summoned and thrown at people.

No... I was hoping derp's char would help me some... Im still firing blanks. XD ive been lurking for days hoping inspiration would smack me across the face. Alas, i have had none yet. Buut.... I had an idea. I just know it would have been rejected. I wanted to make a cat xD

At least for the first time I'm not going to twist the world/universe that much.
Ret-conning just allowed for new characters, and abolishing the sex and age limits just seemed practical and more open.
But adding sentient animals will go to such a level I wouldn't feel right calling it Madoka Magica anymore.

However, a person who identifies/feels like an animal is fine. We have furries like that in the real world (and honestly, Madoka Magica is an anime. An anime about freaking magical girls. I don't think a furry is much of a stretch), just write your cat character as you wanted to but remember that they're biologically a human.

Will the GM be making a character?

If you'd like some advice on what kinda character to make, why not just aim to fill in the gaps in the cast so far? We don't have a emotionally grounded character yet, or a straight up melee fighter. It helps if you visualize their wish before delving into their magical abilities, as what their wish is like and what emotions they experience during it basically determine what kind of magic and weaponry they have at their disposal.

I will be, but I'm waiting on others to have there's made so my character's can fill in the blanks rather than occupy a slot/role another person may have wanted.

Well i may need a bit of help than. Haha.
Okay, so Lets say i wanted to fullfill the role of a more up close fighter type, who shares my taste of music (punk and metal mostly.)

Depends on the fighting style.

If it's very sword and shield I can imagine the wish involving protecting someone you cared for.
If it's more of a two handed hulk smash maybe you wanted to get revenge, but be warned that route makes it easier for your soul gem to get tainted.

I don't really think your preference in music would affect your powers though, that's just a personal interest. It wouldn't play a role in your wish or anything.

If she ran around swinging a huge heavy bass guitar sword, that could be the hulk go smashy smash deal right? Maybe her wish would be cuz she was a teen who just wants everybody to shut up and let her play music?

for the sword and shield type, would i be allowed to have her wish be something like wanting to protect rock itself? Because people say rock is dying. Than she would have a big giant shield and an electric guitar?

I'm just going to come out and say that I don't like those ideas, but it's yours and the GM's decision whether you want... that kind of character.

Keep in mind, of course, that the real world in Madoka is actually quite futuristic, and that relatively young cultural sensations such as Rock may not actually be relevant in such a setting. Although, in one scene Madoka's mom IS seen playing an air guitar (if I remember correctly), so I may be wrong on this.

Actually, that brings up the question, is this taking place in Mitakihara City?

Personality: Prefers to avoid direct conflict, but won't back down if faced with it. Tends to keep negative emotions repressed, especially sadness or anger. Can be a bit lazy. Otherwise, something of a show off extrovert.
Reason for Pact: She wanted to stop letting people down.
Bio: The oldest of several siblings, Myako always felt like she was under a lot of pressure to be the best, to be a role model for others to follow. And despite that, she always felt like she never measured up. She was only mediocre at best, in school, and as a person, at least in her opinion. So when the opportunity came for being a magical girl, she took it, and she'd like to think that she's relatively experienced, having been at it for over half a year now.
Magic/Abilities: Her magic has superboosted her body, making her faster, stronger than the average magical girl, and allowing her to push herself beyond even those limits for a small period of time. As a result, this does tend to burn through her magic relatively faster than others
Weapons: Double bladed Kusarigama

As you might expect with any good RP, there is more going on here than I'm letting on, because development is fun, and because I treat CS's more as guidelines rather than strict rules.
