It's fine if we all have our own opinions, but that was a little too dramatic there. However, I really would appreciate it if you guys all stayed. Soren, I didn't get the chance to read your CS before you deleted it, so I'm not actually sure what everyone's talking about ^^. And yeah, I should get the OOC going, so that's my fault... I just got my laptop back this morning 'coz it caught a virus and I'm working on the OOC now.

In case you're still taking people on board, figured I may as well post a Character sheet.

Backstory/Personality: Marcus was born a single child to a wealthy family within the wizarding community, each of his parents respectable members of the public and the ministry of magic, his early years were spent with his mother, who put aside her job to raise the newborn boy, at their family home in Godrics Hollow. His fathers presence was sorely missed as he took on more hours to accommodate for the new addition to his family. Marcus grew up with a sturdy knowledge of the magical world and its inner workings, developing a strong set of principles mainly adopted from his fathers own, whom was a silent yet diligent worker, with a strong loyalty to his family.

He became fond of the sport Quidditch and fast became a steady supporter of the 'Falmouth Falcons' due to their passionate and quite often violent play style, this led him to be a somewhat rough around the edges youth, often playing outside with other lads around his age and older. Much of this was to the chagrin of his parents, as the others he played with were mostly half-bloods or from lesser houses, but his parents chose not to discourage his interactions with them, still believing him too young to discern the importance of blood in the wizarding community.

Marcus enjoys the company of others, although quiet around strangers, he grows fiercely loyal toward those who show him kindness. He's a fast learner, but finds himself easily distracted and at times downright lazy with subjects that bore him. He believes courage is best used in the face of adversity, but knows to keep a levelled head, nothing good comes to those who charge in head on.

Personal Items: 13 inch, ash wood wand with a unicorn hair core.

Special Gifts and Abilities: Marcus has a good degree of skill with a broom, his mimicked style of play from his favourite team, having pushed him to try somewhat dangerous stunts, has set him up as a potential chaser for his house when he gets older. He has also developed an uncanny talent for charms, a class which he thoroughly enjoys.

And... THE OOC IS HERE~

I don't seem to recall ever being harsh, I was politely discussing the flaws with Soren's character with a few of my fellow roleplayers...

It just came across to everyone else as a bit harsh. Constructive criticism is one thing, but he seemed to get a little upset by the use of the word "worthless" and the world "useless" when pertaining to his character's traits. I could understand being upset when something you've created and worked on is called those names, regardless of if it is flawed or not.

No one is attacking you or anyone else, but his character was pretty much torn apart, without him explaining at all, and I (and apparently others) found it slightly unfair.

Guys, it's fine. I've asked him to change it a bit, and he's fine with re-submitting a slightly different one. I didn't even read his original CS, so I can't say anything though ^^

I think if it's OK with everyone else I'm going to stay out.

Name: Vincent Pradchaphet

Age: 11

House: Hufflepuff

Magical Heritage: Half-blood, but Muggle-raised. Wizard Father, Muggle Mother.

Appearance: At the age of 11, Vincent just seems to be a scrawny-looking, brown-eyed boy, with no apparent muscular build (His muscles will fill out throughout the story). He doesn't tend much to his black hair, which gives him sort of a messy look, but turns out well in the end. His skin is slightly darker and yellower than the others and his eyes a bit more slanted from his muggle side, which comes from Thailand.

Biography/Personality: Vincent was born to a Thai Muggle and a British Wizard, who soon divorced after their pregnancy was known. Vincent took on his mother's last name because of the divorce. His father is a weatherman for the channel 8 news and only visits him on his birthday. His father also enjoys traveling.

Vincent lives with his mother near the Chinatown of London, in a moderately decent apartment. His mother works as the sales clerk of her own clothing store. There, he was moderately educated and he grew in a very kind and loving environment, which helped him to become a kind and generous young boy with a typically cheerful disposition. On the other hand, his feelings are easily hurt.

He speaks English and a bit of Thai, altered due to being in born in Britain and mixed with slang. He is not a big fan of sports, as his parents also tended to be unathletic and clumsy, so he won't take much part in Quidditch and the like.

Vincent also has an older half-brother who also goes to Hogwarts. His half-brother is a Ravenclaw and an intelligent one at that, due to his strict and pressured upbringing. This intelligence does take a toll on him emotionally.

Personal Items:

(A Qilin heartstring core wand comes from Asia. It can only be used with benevolent and wise wizards, making it extremely rare for Slytherins to use. It is most commonly used by Hufflepuffs. It cannot be used by Dark Wizards. It makes the wand lighter in weight. It's particularly good for charms and potions.)

Special Gifts and Abilities:
Vincent would be able to excel in all the subjects he desires to excel in, particularly Potions. He's typically intelligent, but he would go out of his way and even sacrifice his studies to help others, thus his Hufflepuff house compared to Ravenclaw. He has no skill with a broom.
