Akane Hanazawa // Anime-Manga Club Room

Finishing up her lunch, she cleaned up and placed the bento box back in her bag. "Now then...." Picking her pen back up, she went back to drawing on the paper. "Hmm, This panel should be lighter..." Setting the pen down, she takes out a different pen and resumes drawing. Not noticing the door open and close, Akane resumes drawing. "This new character should be....yes....I got it....a kitsune! Can't go wrong with a-" It was then she heard a voice and immediately turned around, finally noticing the mans presence. Taking a moment to take it all in, she looked at the boy, observing him. Ah yes, he sits a few rows away from me. What was his name.....think...... think.....Teiji? Teiji ishihada? No no, I believe it was something like ishihara.

Turning away and putting her pen away, she turned back towards Teiji with a smile. "Of course. I'm always looking for new members. Though, All the previous members of the club graduated recently, so I'm all that remains. It's a lot quieter now, which I'm starting to think is a good thing. I'm finally able to get some work done." she laughs before continuing, "Hope you're still interested. People tend to stay away from the clubs with little to no members, especially the first years."

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High: Main Entrance

Taking a look at the new club openings for her second year at Warakuma High turned out to take quite a bit longer than anticipate, what with all the commotion surrounding the announcement board - and the school as a whole; quite unsurprising seeing as it was the first day of a new year. Though Kotori wasn't actually planning on joining any clubs this year either, she thought it a good idea at least to know what the options might be. Mentally checking off each choice - from sports like Kendo or Soccer over Classical Literature to the more outlandish newly-opening Idol Club - she then turned back to head back to the classroom; her lunchbox still remaining uneaten.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High: Classroom 2-2

Taking her seat - middle of the second row from the front - and placing her lunchbox before her, Kotori brought her hands together before her, closing her eyes for a moment before actually starting. As she ate, she glanced about the classroom - which was severely depopulated during the lunch break; most of her classmates seeming to prefer spending their lunch break out and about, perhaps with their clubs, perhaps in the cafeteria or perhaps elsewhere entirely. Either way, it meant that Kotori could pass her lunch break in peace and quiet - much like class itself had, courtesy of her not knowing any of her new classmates by anything more than in passing if at all. That wasn't all that bad, however - considering that most of the people whom she knew of from school tended to be those whose names circled around often enough by word of mouth to be memorised.

Shifting her gaze out the window and to the sky above Warakuma, Kotori thought of the various clubs she'd seen advertised down at the notice board - but with a small sigh pushed up her glasses that had shifted a little throughout the morning as she came to the conclusion that, this year again, she wasn't going to be joining any before packing up her finished lunchbox; placing it back in her bag and instead taking out her books for the next lesson - and starting to read a little therein ahead of time. After all, there was little harm in getting familiar with the material.

Teiji Ishihara - Anime/Manga Club

When she noticed him, there was a slight pause for a few second, with her turning around, then tuning back towards him, and stated she was always looking for new members, the downside being everyone graduated and she was all that remained. Well it was barren, but he just assumed everyone was getting lunch or was doing something else at the moment. She didn't seem to be saddened by this however, unlike most clubs who would be begging for members when they are so low. Yet this only made Teiji more curious, what was it like being in a club with only one person? So when she asked him if he was still interested he nodded his head and smiled. "Can't say I'm not, fewer people just means easier cooperation, right? And although we are in the same class, I thought it'd be better for a more proper introduction. So my name is Teiji Ishihara."

Sato Hashimoto // Warakuma Highschool, Near Front Entrance

It seemed that Rui had a solid enough understanding of the school’s layout to be set, so the two teens went on their way to their next class. While he walked up the stairs to the third floor, Sato ran over his thoughts of this new kid. He seemed quieter than most, which was neither an issue or a hindrance, but he appeared almost vacant. Like he was thinking about a thousand different things at once. The idea seemed ludicrous, however, as the boy held conversation well, and politely at that, considering how much Sato had rambled on about his club when Rui had asked about it.

Like a set of dominoes, one thought led to another and his mind was a blur of ideas. It wasn’t long until he found himself slumped into the desk he had been in that morning. Students started to flow into the classroom and fill up the empty desks, leaving a few empty here and there. Pretty much all the seats on the wall sides had been taken which left most of the vacancies near the center. Though, there weren’t many empty seats in the first place, so it was hardly noticeable. Perfect in case anyone transferred to Warakuma during the school year.

The young man let a long sigh escape his lips as he stared down the stack of papers in front of him. If there was one thing he hated doing, it was paperwork. It was such a monotonous and silly thing to him, yet it had so much importance that it frankly upset Sato a bit. Class was going to start in literally minutes and he had no idea where to even start with it. The thought of spending literally every free minute he had until the end of classes working on those forms send a shiver down his spine, but motivation struck in the form of thinking of how livid Rokoru would be if Sato didn’t finish them by the time they were to meet up. He was pulled away from his duty, and Sato had promised that he’d take the torch! With a new-found drive, Sato practically slammed his pencil to the paper and started filling out everything with elegant strokes of the pen. The bell tolled shortly after.

As the time goes on, all students begin walking back to their classrooms, talking in pairs about different things, or just walking alone. As the students shuffled into their specific classroom, the teachers prepped themselves the best they could for what they were about to say. The day slowly went on by as the teachers kept going on until the bell rang, dismissing the crowds of students. Some left the school to go hang out somewhere else while others lingered behind due to clubs and such.

This was the start of something new, each day would he filled with new exciting challenges. So what are you waiting for? Feel free to explore the school or Warakuma!

Rui Shinichi | Warakuma High - After School

Classes ended on a normal note, it was just the first day after all, so there wasn't much material being shoved into the students faces, mostly just class rules, getting to know who your teachers for certain subjects were and so on. The standard. It was finally the end of it at least, clubs were also immediately active first week, some with delay while others were active very first day.

"Clubs... Hmmm... I wonder which I should visit first...", he mumbled to himself, exiting his classroom and looking out the window from the 2nd floor. He wasn't sure, he'd seen multiple and was told of the archery club? Maybe he should start there since Sato was kind enough to let him know where it was...?

Toma Tanaka - Tanaka Residence

Delays. Delays were unfavorable. Downright annoying, actually. Flight delays, moving truck delays, traffic delays - all of it piled together and had caused Toma and his family to arrive a full day late, which in turn meant that he had missed his first day of school.

His new school, no less, which only made it worse. A new school meant completely new faces, and being surrounded by unfamiliarity was not something Toma was used to. He had known everyone at his previous school, and had been known by everyone. He had been the guy who greeted new students and helped them get their feet on the ground. Now he would be that new student, showing up after the year had already started.

The tall teen had never been one to get nervous, but that idea definitely discomforted him.

_________________________________________________

Toma grunted as he picked up another box. I see mom remembered to pack the anvils, he thought as he struggled with it.

He carried it past his father, who was sleeping on the couch, and into the room that would eventually be the old man's work space. He set the box down carefully, before cutting the tape and opening it. Inside was his father's paperweight collection, meticulously packed to minimize chance of damage. Toma stared at it disapprovingly; it was such a stupid thing to collect. But, for whatever reason, it made his father happy.

The boy sighed as he began the tedious work of carefully unwrapping every paperweight and placing it on the desk he had set up a few minutes earlier. He eventually unwrapped one that actually belonged to him. It was a small, crude, iron balance scale. His father had given it to him, saying it was thanks for being the one who kept the family in balance through their recent difficult times. Toma thought it had been a silly sentiment, as he hadn't done much, but he accepted it nonetheless. Setting the scale aside, he continued unpacking the rest of the weights.

_________________________________________________

Toma stared at the mess that was his new home. He had been unpacking for hours now, yet cardboard boxes and random items still littered the entire space. It didn't help that he had been alone with the job - both of his parents had conked out the instant they had finished moving all the boxes from the truck into the house.

He was just as tired as they were, but he didn't sleep until his body shut down and forced him to. That was probably unhealthy, but it was the only way he had enough time in a day to do everything he wanted. The routine had been working out so far.

Focusing back on the mess, Toma shook his head. With no friends to hang out with, no school work to do, and no sports to play, he had nothing to do. Even the internet connection wasn't up yet, so he couldn't play any games on his computer. He had never had so little to do in his life, which is why he had been reduced to unpacking to fill his time.

Well, he had decided that he had had enough of that. The most productive thing he could do with his time was to get outside and become acquainted with his new town. While on that train of thought, he decided to head to the school. The day may have been almost over, but hopefully he could find some of his teachers, greet them, and explain why he had missed his classes - that way, their first impression of him wouldn't be that he was some sort of slacker-delinquent.

Happy that he had something to do, Toma grabbed his track jacket and walked outside.

_________________________________________________

Warakuma High - Front Entrance

Toma arrived at the school's front entrance, noting the stream of kids pouring out. He inspected the building briefly; it was far smaller than his old school, but it seemed interesting enough. It'd be a change of pace, at the very least, and that was the entire reason his family had moved.

Now his task was to figure out who his teachers were. Since it was the first day, there had to be class lists posted somewhere - he just had to find that, and then hopefully catch his teachers before they left. If he missed them, the effort would have been for nothing, but it was better than unpacking boxes alone.

Wearing a small smile, he carefully began to weave his way through the crowd that flowed against him.

Sato Hashimoto // Warakuma High, Class 3-3

The bell rang at almost the exact same time Sato had finished writing down the notes on the board. With a long sigh, he threw down his pencil to his notebook’s pages and lean far back into his seat, leaning a bit over the person behind him’s desk. For a first day it lasted way to long for its own good. While the class had ended with the teacher going on some long recap of what they were expected to learn and master in their subject, giving apt time to copy the notes they had written, Sato had engrossed himself too far into finishing the forms Rokoru had entrusted to him to notice the thousands of words written onto the board until late in the class.

Most of the forms had been simple things like equipment orders or membership wavers that needed to be fixed and signed, and as such they were more monotonous than complex. Sato had decided that he wouldn’t be very motivated to complete them if he had stopped in the middle of them, and the teacher probably would just think he was excruciatingly dedicated to writing down extensive notes, so it was a logical choice to make to him. At least the student-staff of the Archery club wouldn’t be on his ass that day.

After stretching out his hands (due to them being cramped up from not writing that much for several months) and back, Sato rose from his seat, idly looking around as he did so. A lot of his classmates had already left, eager to return home, while the people remaining behind for a while had a large variety of reasons to do so; catching up with friends, finishing work of some kind, loafing around for whatever reason, and so forth. One girl in the far back was actually fast asleep and everyone decided it was funny enough to not wake her up. Regardless, Sato gathered up his books, slipped them into his school bag, and slung it over his shoulder. The next stop for him would be the Archery range out back of the school.

Sato Hashimoto // Warakuma High, Archery Range

While some of the students were still bustling about, getting the range organized a bit better, the rest of the current members were already shooting arrows down the range, with some of the new members observing them to try and figure out what and why they’re doing what they’re doing. The school required that they practice traditional Japanese archery-- Kyudo – some of the more serious members (himself included) brought their own equipment to shoot with a more modern and occidental style. No one kept that stuff in the range, though, so everyone was stuck with kyudo for the first few weeks until they could get everything they needed to deal with sorted out. Additionally, they had decided that to be able to skip out on the kyudo and go with some other bows, a member needed to have mastered the basics of kyudo before moving past it.

The range would remain open until an hour after school ended, providing hopefully ample time for anyone to go check it out before heading home. On regular days later in the year, members were allowed to stay until around 6 PM, but often times they left sooner. After setting down his stuff somewhere near the entrance, Sato made his way over to where they were cleaning out a bunch of crap the school stored there over the winter and helped with lifting the heavier stuff. They were working near the entrance to the range, so hopefully anyone with any questions would notice him there, especially as they were moving some things outside.

Noboru-Warakuma High School Gate
The school day was ending and Noboru stood up to walk out of the classroom. Stretching out, he checked his phone. There was a notification. It was from Chiaki, from around lunchtime. "Oops. Guess I better reply back."

yeah we're still going to train, but we need to get you some exercise clothes first. You can't exactly run in just anything. Meet me at the school gates kay? we'll go to the mall or something and i'll show you how to shop for exercise stuff.

He put his phone back in his pocket, grabbed his bag and walked out of the room without talking to anyone else. He made his way to the gate, hoping Chiaki would get to the gate soon, so they could get some training in.

Misaki could barely contain her excitement as Chiaki Nettu of all people extended an offer for her to join her club. For the first time in a long time, she paid complete attention as she explained the club's activities. "You bet I'll them! I'll tell everyone I can!" There was probably no force on this earth that could stop Misaki from helping out now. She bid Chiaki farewell when she said she needed to leave, and then took off herself. She had not only met a personal idol of hers, but also had the opportunity to be useful to them. She somehow doubted that Chiaki really wanted someone like her messing up the kind of activities that were going to go on in this club, but the least she could do was get some other people to join in, and she was definitely going to try her hardest behind the scenes.

Eventually, the lunch break ended. Misaki was in the middle of pestering some people about the Idol Club when the time came to go back to class. Although she would rather carry on spreading the word, she knew she couldn't play hooky just for that. Not to mention all the people around her seemed eager to return to class themselves. When she got back, she spied Sachiko, sitting in her seat, staring intently at some textbook. Misaki chose not to bother her, as she had asked her to stop passing notes even before she had gotten mad.
After class, Sachiko was one of the first to leave. She still wasn't in the best of places, and she didn't feel like encountering anyone and losing her temper again. She went out to her locker to put away her things. When she was done, she found Misaki standing behind her. "Sachiko....do you hate me now?"

"No, no..." She knew Misaki was prone to flights of fancy, but she didn't realise she thought Sachiko hated her after that. "It's just that the last thing I feel like doing is smiling. I've been in a bad mood all day, and I just don't feel like airbrushing over all my problems anymore."

Misaki didn't really understand what she was saying. She would've offered to hear her problems, but she knew she would be no good for giving advice. She had already proven that earlier. There was a moment's awkward silence before Sachiko continued "Look, I'm sorry for acting like that. You of all people don't deserve my anger. What can I do to make it up to you?"

Sachiko suddenly found a flyer shoved into her hands. "Join the Idol Club." Misaki told her. She seemed to have become a great deal more chipper all of a sudden. Sachiko gave the flyer a read. "Uh, Misaki, this sounds like something really embarassing..."

"No! It's fun! You have to join! Come on, I told Nettu-San I would recruit people and you're the only friend I have!"

"But-"

"No buts! You asked what you could do to make it up to me, so you can join the Idol Club!"

Sachiko sighed in exasperation. "Alright, alright! If it means that much to you, I'll do it." Sachiko really wasn't sure about joining a club like this, but she could hardly turn Misaki down when she was being this intense. She probably would've started crying if Sachiko had said no. "Yay! The meeting's on Wednesday, so be there! I'm going to try my best to find more people, so I'll see you later!" Misaki then ran off. Sachiko had seen her excited about a lot of things, but this seemed to excite her more than anything else. At least she was in a better mood now, and she didn't think Sachiko hated her. Now that all that was over, Sachiko returned her attention to heading home.
When Sachiko went out near the gate, she saw Noboru there. She imagined he was waiting for someone else, as she doubted she was too popular after walking off like she did earlier. In fact, if he was anything like Misaki, maybe he even thought she hated him. Whether he wanted to hear it or not, Sachiko figured she should at least try to make amends. She decided to approach him. "Noboru, I'm sorry about the way I reacted earlier. It's none of my business if you want to join the drama club, and you don't have to tell me anything you don't want to. I just felt concerned that something strange was going on, you know? But that's just an excuse; I had no right to be angry, and I apologise. Can you forgive me?"

Noboru-Warakuma High Gates
Noboru chuckled a little bit at first, then let out a loud laugh.

"Oh man. Oh man that's really rich." He looked at her after he was done laughing. She had a serious face of forgiveness on her face. "Oh wait, you were serious? Come on, You know I really can't get angry at friends. It just feels wrong when I do. If anyone should be apologizing, it's me for how secretive and serious I was acting earlier. I should have let you guys know a little more than what I did. If anything, i'm sorry for what I did. Next time, i'll be truthful alright?"

Noboru gave a promising smile, letting her know he was serious.

As the last bell of the day rang, alot of the kids rushed out the class doors. Around the same time Chiaki had packed up her belongings and prepared to leave, her phone recieved a message. She checked it as she left the classroom. It was just Noboru, confirming her prior messages' question.

He was waiting for her at the front gates, she would have left immediately, if it were not for a few students that decided to make conversation before leaving.
Upon exiting the school, Chiaki spotted Noboru from afar. "Ah! There he is!"
As she got closer, Chiaki noticed he was talking to another girl, whom she hadn't met before. They seemed to be having a serious conversation, based on their facial expressions.
She thought it best not to interrupt until they finished.

Once the two seemed to finish conversing, ending in an awkward silence, she gleefully waved hello.
"Hello!~ Um, sorry I was late, I got held up by some other students. Are you ready to go now?" She said.

There was something really off putting about the way Noboru had reacted. Initially, she was a touch concerned he was mocking her, but he quickly followed up by saying he wasn't angry at all. He seemed a little too okay with this. But then again, Sachiko had eventually realised how ridiculous she was acting, so perhaps Noboru had simply done the same? Sachiko grinned sheepishly in response to Noboru's smile, still a little off put by all this. Then, some other girl showed up to talk to Noboru. This must've been who he was waiting for. Getting the feeling she was about to become a third wheel if she stuck around, she said "I see you have plans. I guess I'll just leave you guys to it. See ya." She started making her way off, and she would be leaving altogether if she wasn't stopped.

Leiko Hamada: Class 2-1

The rest of afternoon classes went by in a blur. Fortunately, the material was mostly light and introductory, leaving Leiko the incentive to daydream a little less often than usual as she listened to the subjects that would be presented for the following year. Most of them sounded rather drab, but she was a hard worker when it counted, so she would be able to get by relatively well in her studies.

"So glad that's over," the girl next to Leiko sighed as the school bell finally tolled for the end of lessons, stretching her arms idly as the surrounding students followed her lead like a Mexican wave. "I can't believe they're already bringing up midterms though. We only just got back from break!"

"Tell me about it. They're like, way harsh." A dark haired girl on the other side of Leiko shuddered in agreement. "Literally the only thing I'm good at is PE, so I'm really not looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll be able to scrape by though. Hey, Hama-chan?"

"Mmm?" Leiko looked away from her notes, clearly disinterested in whatever conversation they were having around her. "Sorry Saya-san, I wasn't paying attention."

"Uhh...that's OK," the girl known as Saya let out an awkward laugh before continuing. "I was just wondering if you were going to check out any clubs with us? Yes, we know that you're the club president for Drama already," she added hastily before Leiko could open her mouth to retort. "But it might actually be neat to join something else too. You know, for flavour."

"Oh?" Leiko quirked a vaguely intrigued eyebrow. "What do you have in mind? Because after my experiences last year, I'm not particularly keen on scouting for anything new." The Student Council had certainly been an interesting endeavour, Leiko recalled with a wry smile. Due to her parents' pushing and prodding into making her do something more 'worthwhile' with her time, the decision to attempt Student Council had been decided for her first year at Warakuma High. Suffice to say, she loathed every aspect of it, from the paperwork to the slightly overbearing President.

Leiko had quit the council within the month and joined Drama within the next. Needless to say, it was one of the best decisions she had made thus far.

"Welllll, I was thinking about something a little more to your tastes..." Saya grinned surreptiously as she reached for something in her bag. "You know, for fun..."

"Oh?" Leiko was trying her best to keep her voice sounding detached, but even she felt a spark of curiosity ignite within her as she eyed the girl's satchel. "Pray tell..."

"Ta-da!" The girl sang in a sudden burst of bubbling excitement as she handed out an amateurish flyer for Leiko to observe with a rare bewildered expression. "It's a new club called the Idols Club! You know that first year idol? Chiaki Nettu? She's the one running it! It's gonna be like...a masterclass on how to be an idol or something."

"..." Leiko was stunned into silence for a moment, her eyes glancing from the crude flyer to her friend in utter disbelief. "What?" was all she could manage, her voice slightly hoarse at Saya's proposal. "What...are you suggesting?"

"Oh come on! It'd be fun!" Leiko's friend whined, seeming somewhat pleased that she had caught the other girl off guard. "I mean, it's only dancing and singing on a stage. It's really not all that different to Drama at all!"

"Of course it's different!" Leiko gasped in outrage, causing several of the students nearby to stop and watch Leiko's reaction in a mix of trepidation and curiosity. "What actors do and what idols do are completely different."

Actors play their parts with their heart and soul, Leiko monologued inwardly, her tongue too tied with disbelief to actually voice her words aloud. Acting means something. Idols are just manufactured, chosen because they're sweet and pretty and nothing else. All smiles, no substance.

"Fine. So they're not exactly the same," Saya agreed with a brief shrug of defeat, although the glint in her eyes told her otherwise. "More the reason to join, hmm? You need to loosen up, Hama-chan. You won't look this young and pretty forever!"

Saya was one of Leiko's louder and more outspoken friends, and a girl that had somehow landed in her class from middle school all the way to their second year at WHS in present day. So, she knew Leiko better than anyone, which somehow gave her the unspoken right to tease her mercilessly.

Honestly, Leiko felt she was getting too soft. But even she couldn't deny that Saya was one of her closer friends, for what it was worth.

"I think we're done here," Leiko remarked sternly, determined not to indulge her friend any further as she slung her schoolbag back over her shoulder. "I'm going home."

"What? No, stay Hama-chan," Saya shot Leiko her best pout. "Just think of all the pretty things we could wear. Frilly dresses, bikini fashion...oh, maybe you could borrow some maid costumes at your home and dress up like-"

"Finish that sentence. I dare you," Leiko's expression was deadly, her face rapidly flushing to the colour of her hair. "Because so help me, Saya..."

"Uhh...never mind then!" The other girl paled sheepishly. Even someone as daring as Saya knew when she was pushing Leiko's limits. And an explosion in Class 2-1 wasn't far off at this point. "You're still sticking around to check out the clubs though, right?"

"...I really think I'll pass," Leiko's answer was trite. "I have to prepare for the auditions tomorrow anyway."

"Thirty minutes." Saya placed her hands on her hips with an expression that was difficult to argue with. "Give me that, and I'll leave you alone. Promise."

Leiko scowled back, but her resistance was wearing down more by the minute. "...Fine," she finally caved in with a disgruntled sigh. "I'll be holding you to that promise though."

She really was too soft sometimes.

Noboru-Warakuma High to Warakuma Mall
"Yeah i'll see you later Sachiko. You probably have a club activity or something to go to right? Anyways, if you want to catch up with us later, we'll be at the mall for a while so you can catch us there alright?"

Noboru waved bye to her and let Chiaki follow along as they walked to the mall to find some clothes for workouts.

"This is a rather funny turn of events. Yesterday, you helped me find some clothes to wear for normal days, and now i'm helping you find some clothes to wear for exercising. Anyhow, did you make your new club? Have any interesting new members yet? or does it still need to gain steam. If it still needs help, I can help recruit."

Aiko and Akari-Warakuma High
Aiko and Akari strolled around the school, looking for any club to join. Nothing really interested them, and it seemed as if they couldn't find something worth joining. They sat down, and started making plans for somewhere to go. "Hey Akari, wanna go to the mall? Seems like there's nothing else to do here. let's go get something to eat."

Rui Shinichi | Warakuma High - After School

As Rui was in thought about his next move, he snapped back into reality as he heard a familiar voice. It was Hamada, a slightly angry outburst. Something about idols and actors... He looked over and saw the sheet of paper in Hamada's friend's hand, Saya. Rui could glean briefly the word 'idol' and 'club'. Idol club...? That sounded... Well, unique honestly. Back in Tokyo, Idol fanclubs were very common, but an idol club... Well now that he thought about it, an idol club out in the big city would have an incredible amount of pressure almost instantly, but a gathering of girls out here would have more room to grow...

"Well, it seems everyone's occupied with their own thing...", he said to himself. Maybe he should just go down and check the archery club...

> Warakuma High - Archery Range

As he got down there, everyone in the club was already going at it, to be fair he came a tad late, not to mention it was the first week, they wanted to seem productive to prospective members. Amongst the members he could see Sato cleaning some of the equipment. He put his stuff down like he should and walked over and waved.

"Yo", he greeted.

Kotori Shirohane - Warakuma High: Classroom 2-2

At the ring of the bell, the last teacher of the day for class 2-2 looked up at the clock, only then realising that it was already so late, before turning back to his class. "Well then, that will be all. You're dismissed," he announced - at which most of the second year students practically jumped to packing their things up and heading straight out of the room; perhaps to meet old and new friends, perhaps to head for equally old or new clubs or perhaps just to head home. In the lattermost group was Kotori Shirohane - though she was in no rush; instead taking her time to neatly pack everything back into her bag before standing up and heading out of the classroom without as much as a word to another classmate; even as some stayed back to talk among each other or to wait for their friends to come meet them. Kotori, however, had no such thing to do.

Warakuma High: Main Entrance

As she passed the large noticeboard near the entrance, Kotori couldn't help but spare it another glance - and was almost surprised to see even more flyers to be hanging there; most of them advertisements for clubs. See the various papers, she only then remembered that she had an errand to run herself, too - moving on slowly, Kotori rummaged through her bag in search of the grocery list her mother had given her that morning; having been asked to pick the items on it up as she was going to be busy with the flower shop back home all afternoon.

Soundlessly repeating all the items on the list once she finally found it and held it up to read, Kotori wasn't paying quite as much attention on where she was walking as she perhaps should have - and promptly walked right into someone who was going in the opposite direction of the large crowd streaming out of the school building. In her surprise, Kotori nearly dropped her only half-read grocery list; barely catching it halfway to falling to the ground before immediately bowing in apology to whoever she had just walked into in her carelessness. "Sorry!" she quickly said, her soft tone of voice almost drowned out in the hustle and bustle of the crowd all around; not even having gotten a look at the face of whoever it was she was apologising to yet.

-Kaminari : Warakuma High-

As the school day ended, the different students in his class began quickly shuffling out of the classroom, talking with a few of their friends and such. Kami relaxed in his chairing, sighing softly to himself. The school day was over, and it was time to head home or checkout some clubs at this point in time. Kami began packing his stuff up before pushing himself up from his desk and began looking around the barely barren classroom. He soon also took his leave also, exiting the room.

As he left, he noticed different students chatting with each other, gossiping or asking about different clubs. As he slowly walked down the hallway, he thought about the other clubs, wanting to see if any other clubs interested him. He made his way down the hallways, passing different people as he made his way to the club board.
As he made his way to the board, he noticed a familiar student looking at the board in contempt. Kami made his way over to the boy, and gave him a quick pat on the shoulder, startling the boy. The boy quickly turned his head in surprise at the sudden gesture, only to find Kami looking at him with a small grin plastered on his face.

"Hey, how's the Kendo Club going Makoto?"

The boys look of sudden surprised eased down to a rather relaxed tone. He chuckled awkwardly as he tried to figure out how to explain things to Kami. After pondering for a while, he came up with a simple lie that Kami would most likely believe if he didn't know about what was going on in the club. He wasn't a bit suspicious about his statement, and let the lie slip from his lips.

"Its going ok, we still have a lot of people, and we are getting plenty of recruits."

Kami easily read through the boys false truth easily due to the knowledge he had preceding him. He knew that the club was struggling dungeon to its lack of members, and would most likely end up gone if he didn't successfully recruit more people. Kami slightly smiled as he would say the sweetest words that Makoto would enjoy hearing.

"Say, you got some room for me?"
The boy looks back at Kami, pleasantly surprised by this little phenomenon. Kami had denied him constantly when he kept trying to recruit him, and gave up at trying after the end of the second year of high school. He didn't ever believe that Kami would join Kendo Club, much less ask him. Makoto began grinning from ear to ear, as he begin trying to come up with some devious plan to tease Kami with. After all, he felt he had to give him a little jolt since Kami gave him the same in large portions, even though it was sort of his fault for pestering him so much.

"I dunno Kami, we are pretty booked this year... Tell you what, i'll try and figure something out, ok? I can't promise that you'll be a member, but I will try and secure you a spot... No promises though."

The boys talked for a bit before waving to each other and heading off in opposite directions. Kami decided to linger around school longer to see if he could snag any new acquaintances, or talk to a few of his friends.

Toma Tanaka - Wakamura High, Main Entrance

The whole moving deal had taken a lot more out of Toma than the boy had originally realized. As he moved through the crowd, a tree in the distance caught his eye, for no reason in particular. He stared at it dully, spacing out.

It took a collision with another person to bring him back awake, and even then, he reacted slowly.

His eyes moved to the girl he had run into. He saw her snatch a piece of paper out of the air, which he had presumably caused her to drop. Before he could say anything, she bowed and apologized.

This took Toma by surprise, moreso than the collision itself. In his old city, he would have likely just received a dirty look, before being brushed off without a second thought.

He couldn't help but let out a small laugh before saying "I'm the one who should be sorry. I'm sort of going the wrong way, after all. You all right?"

He then eyed the paper she held in her hand, curious. "Nice catch, by the way." he said with an easy smile, nodding towards the paper. "Where'd you pick those reflexes up?"

His mother would have scolded him for trying to make conversation, especially with someone who looked like they had things to do. She would have said something along the lines of "She didn't run into you because she wanted to chitchat, she ran into you by mistake. Say you're sorry and let her be on her way."

But he wanted to get to know the people he'd be surrounded by for the next year, and it was best to start doing that sooner rather than later.

Akane Hanazawa // Anime-Manga Club Room

With a smile, she nods. "I surely think so, beats everyone trying to fight and yell at each other all the time. Missed so many deadlines dealing with those senpais. " she laughed. As he introduced himself, she stood up. "How rude of me, I didn't bother to formally introduce myself. Some club captain I am." she replied with another laugh. Holding out her hand, "I'm Akane Hanazawa, nice to meet you Teiji Ishihara."

As the bell signaling the end of lunch, she headed for the door and turned around before heading out.
"Hope you decide to join, well, see you in class."
Akane Hanazawa // Class 2-2 - Kendo Club

With the sound of the bell, classes for the day have officially ended. Given it was the first day, it ended normally with them explaining the rules, the teachers, introductions, etc. While normally the first thing one would do would be to report to their club and such, there wasn't any real rush for her. After all, she was the only member at the moment, with 1 interested student and it was a classmate, so he could get in contact with her anytime. So instead, she'll spend her time in looking for another club to join. It'll help kill time when things are slow, would help the occasional writers block, that's for sure.

Grabbing her bag, she headed out of the classroom and made her way down the hall way, making her way to the club board. Glancing at the board.... "Hmm, Don't think Archery is quite might style..." she muttered to herself as she notices a group unfamiliar looking boys by the board. I believe they're thirds years, not too sure... Over hearing their conversation, she watches as they head off into different directions. "Lots of members, huh? Funny, don't recall ever seeing a whole lot of them there."

Well, regardless of how many are in the club. Might as well check them out anyway. Closest I'd probably ever get at actually using a 'sword'. Should be entertaining.

With that thought, she headed straight to the Kendo clubs dojo and peered in, the room. "Hello"
