Is it weird that whilst I absolutely loved Gurren Lagann I've not really had the motivation to watch Kill la Kill? I mean it has fanservice and all and... still nothing.

Maybe it's the setting? I mean Gurren Lagann is pretty much post apocolyptic, while Kill la Kill is... generic school.

Not really generic when you realise it's closer to 1984's police state, but still. School.

Also technically magical girl anime. lololololololol

I never have the motivation to watch anything. It's normally the first episode that makes it or breaks it.
so watch the first episode (the first two) annd theennnn get hooked and watch it haha.

Oh look, Captain is all offical now.

When you watch it, you don't even get the school setting vibe. Well, in the sense that you see them in classes or anything.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. :) It's tough, but we're getting by. Forgive me if come off as distant or anything.

I still haven't seen GL (why we didn't watch that, Pacman >:C), but I share no interest in KLK either. I think it's less the school factor and more the angst factor keeping me away, haha. Although I do like my magician girls... XD

EDIT: Posted! Just thought I'd throw this tidbit out here: Amy is standoffish to newcomers - it's just how she is lol, but she warms up to teammates after spending time/fighting alongside them, and she'll talk if she's prompted to (but won't go out of her way to do so). She's all friendly with Aria and Lute now, for instance. :D

Lute's like... 21, so whilst he's pretty youthful, I don't think it'd be possible to mistake him for being under 18. And with the exception of Trixie for reasons, nobody can become a Guilder until they're 18, so that's something that needs to be fixed.

Ryver, could we dial down the... er... energy, of Jett? I know he's supposed to be energetic and an adrenaline junkie, but imo he's way, way too much to the point where some of his actions are actually feeling more annoying, then anything. I didn't get the impression from his CS that he'd be acting like this. Tone him down, please? ^^;

Sorry I haven't had a chance to post. Things got very busy for me all of a sudden, including suddenly being a third-party attorney for a real estate transaction contract that has so many damn scribbles on it, you'd think it was a term paper that a teacher marked up. And I don't even have any experience in property law!

I'll get a post up by tomorrow morning at the latest. I've otherwise had a lively weekend. This is what I have been listening to lately:

My life weekends are always bland. But I did go to a two year old's birthday party. They were all in bouncy castles and I mingled with the older siblings. Kids are lethal bro. No mercy.
