Stage 1:
Name: Sophie “Phi” Tsukiko
Age: 18
Apperance:
History: Phi grew up in a high-middle class family as the youngest of 5. She was raised by her two loving parents who did their best to divide their attention amongst their 5 demanding children and their jobs. Since Sophie was their last baby, and youngest, her parents left it to her older siblings to take care of her for the most part. It wasn’t that they were pushing of their duties as a parent to someone else because they were tired. It was because supporting such a large family was difficult. Someone needed to make money to feed those little monsters. Surrounded with gorgeous elder sisters and rambunctious, teasing older brothers, Phi’s childhood was anything but boring. As years passed by, she slowly realized the real goal to her game. Every single one of her siblings had already acknowledged this goal and she had been entered late into the game. They were all playing for just a sliver more of their parent’s attention. Anything would do, be it for positive or negative reasons. Phi just could not compete. There was no way.
So instead of seeking her fill of parental affection and attention at home, she branched out to her peers, feeding from them. The process was slow, but Phi caught on quick. She started small, gaining a few close friends and friending their friends up until the point that she had familiarized herself with a good portion of the community. She watched herself well, keeping her physical and social appearance under strict check. However, with all of this time spent in her social aspect of life, it heavily unbalanced the opposite faction that she had neglected, academics. Where it is possible to juggle both sides of the fence, Phi had completely ignore her educational aspect. Luckily, though, her elementary school’s star in the academic field only lived five houses down the street. Seeking help in mathematics and social studies, Phi offered the lonely girl friendship in return. Although, despite the generous offer, Phi was quickly shot down. She received her requested help and was swiftly sent on her way.
Appalled with the hasty dismissal, Phi pursued Mari’s hand in friendship until before she knew it, it had unofficially become best friends. The two had spent so much time together, mostly thanks to Phi initiating each encounter, that it just seemed to abnormal for them to be separated and not share in their memories, both new and old.
Phi had been there when Mari broke down about her rejection letters from her dream colleges and even suggested that the two of them attend the same college. She was also the one that dragged Mari to the all-nighter get-together.
Personality: Phi is a spunky, carefree girl who chose to focus on her social status and exterior appearance over academics. Whereas she is not your stereotypical, stuck-up, pretentious popular girl, she carries a darker side to her white name. To most of her peers, Phi tends to come off as cheery and optimistic girl that always seems to be smiling no matter the situation. She is the supportive type of friend that acknowledges the smaller details about people and tries to protect them both indirectly and directly. However, she does struggle with jealousy. She has tried her best to suppress such thoughts and feelings, but sometimes they become unbearable. Phi is prone to snapping under pressure, in which she becomes a violent storm of hurtful slurs and pure rage. However, very few have seen her in such a state, one of which is Mari, as Phi normally vents her anger and frustrations through her martial arts and other sports.
What they were doing when they passed out: Phi passed out in a chair at the kitchen table. She had been trying to get Mari to leave her studies and try socializing for once, but Mari refused to budge so Phi resorted to pouting, which still didn’t work.
