Once reaching her friend, she was beaming. Even if she did have a stomach ache moments before, she showed no evidence of ever having one.

"People, people everywhere," she said, referencing a toy story gif she had seen on tumblr of Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story movies. Man, were those movies were the best back then. She gestured to the group of other cosplayers that were around the two, by making a hand motion in the air to emphasize the people while she put a hand behind her friend's shoulders.

Referencing things were fun to Mari, and she felt like one of her favorite Achievement Hunters from her and Julie's favorite company, RoosterTeeth. His name was Ray Narvaez Jr., and he was practically the King of referencing and making up new sayings like 'Just Blaze!', '420!!!', as with his most famous saying, 'Lllllllet's Play!!'.

"Dude, we should totally talk to these dudes and dudettes," she suggested to Julie. More friends to come, perhaps?

Sarah was happy for those that collected comic books but she didn't bother with them anymore. She had a Marvel Unlimited subscription that offered her nearly unlimited access to every Marvel comic book ever drawn. Unfortunately, they didn't put their newest issues in the system until they were several months old but that was fine by her. This let her spend money from her rather limited budget from her job as a cashier for other things.

Biting gently at her black stained lower lip she looked the "Doctor" in the eyes with those clouded grey eyes that looked almost sightless and grinned at him. Letting him think on what he had just said.

"...be in character while we eat," Sarah quoted David, rolling the words out slowly and tapped at the plastic dagger protruding from her forehead before continuing in a more normal tone, "Something tells me that wouldn't be too fun."

"Hey, I brought Smash and Pokemon X as well. Maybe we could battle after we eat. And about that offer, I'd love to Doctor." Tyler said, keeping his Proto Man impression as he spoke. He then looked at a 40K guy as he spoke to them. "Thanks. I made it myself. It's a wonder what you cam make with scrap plastic and metal." He said to him with a content smile.

As much as it felt awkward minutes before, Julie didn't see much reason to not meet up with these other cosplayers. Besides, it is a convention after all...well, they had less than half an hour left, but that didn't mean it was over just yet. It couldn't hurt to make some friends with them, she did overhear them say something about Smash 3DS and Pokemon. It wouldn't be that weird since she technically wasn't the only one here that had certain interests.

"Then what are we doing? Let's get a move on," Julie said as soon as her bestie had suggested that they join in the conversation. Again, she took a moment to remove the blueberry lollipop from her mouth as she walked over to group of people near them. Well...hopefully it wouldn't be so weird especially after that bump-in incident...

"Mind if we join in on this talk?" Julie did her best with a British accent, but then again, you expect her to be spot-on? Anyways, she only did that since she did also overhear them say something about "in-character," and she just wanted to try out a Bayonetta impression for once. It wasn't perfect, but she did have some of that playful sass like Bayo. After saying that, she placed the blueberry lollipop back into her mouth.

"Ah come on it wouldnt hurt to have some fun.." He said in his Matt Smith imression. It was actually good in his opinion. he showed his 3DS with a coppy of Pokemon X. "Yep, I play Pokemon...Pokemon are cool." He looked over at the Bayonetta girl and her friend. "Ah sure why not! More the merrier. Im David, but Im also Known as the Doctor." He smiled at the girls. "mayeb we should have a tag team battle?"

Tag team battle? Sarah paused for a few moments, sporting thoughts of them fighting against one another in the parking lot of the hotel and going home with black eyes and broken limbs. She then realized that they were talking about their handheld consoles. At that point she was just simply glad that she hadn't said what she was thinking aloud. That would have looked completely, totally, stupid.

"Oh I have nothing against fun," the girl dressed as the corpse replied, "though with all of time and space at your disposal a mere visit to a diner must be such a chore. I won't mind seeing Mega-Man over here do his thing."

-and speaking of Mega-man, there was now someone dressed as Zelda! She missed playing Zelda. She never had a Wii or anything like that but she found an old "Super Nintendo" machine and a bunch of cartridges. That long pink dress must have taken forever to sew up. It made her own work feel paltry by comparison. Sarah found herself really wishing that she'd worked on a different, recognizable costume from a major franchise like the fourth doctor and his scarf or Zoey from Left 4 Dead or something.

"I love your Zelda," Sarah added, meaning it with total honesty and a bit of jealousy.

Celeste zoned out into her own little world, until she was interrupted by a certain boy in what seemed like a panda cap. He didn't seem that fazed by her entourage of big men in suits, so this boy was either incredibly brave, or a complete moron. Whichever one it happened to be, there was a high chance that he was going to end up boring Celeste. Majority of the population did, so why would he?

Well, she would grant his request of a photo. While she didn't exactly care about what others thought about her, nor did she care for this plebeian, she had to at least act like it. She cared enough for her father's image, as without him, she would be in a lot of trouble.

" Of course! And I'd like to compliment your cosplay, but I don't have a reference, sorry about that. Hopefully, if we meet again, I'll know exactly who you are, so I can properly give you the comment you deserve. "

Uugghh, she hated speaking so formally, but it was part of her image. Maybe if she didn't have her entourage with her, but she did need them to carry her bags. She doubted it was possible for any one person to carry the amount of bags, no matter how strong they were.

Celeste smiled for the camera, and clapped her hands together as if she was praying. She just wished that there wouldn't be any flash. . .

Mari flashed a grin towards the older woman, grateful that she liked her costume. She had, in fact, worked her sweat and blood into the entire cosplay for weeks until end before she ultimately thought it was made as perfect as she was able to; from a crown attached to her blonde wig, to her armored boots.

"Thanks, it took me a while to get this finished," she responded happily.

Taking in her appearance, Mari didn't know where the character that the woman dressed as was from. Her grin grew and she said, "You, yourself look quite amazing. And may I ask, who are you cosplaying as?"

She tried to get back into Zelda's character. That character being highly formal as she had royal blood coded in her pixelated veins. Though it may seem weird to most people, Mari absolutely adored speaking like most of the people who lived back then.

"Errrr..."

Sarah was starting to hate that question. Everyone else people knew instantly or at least could guess. This would have gone so much better if the guys hadn't bailed and had come along with their matching costumes. Everyone knew the Doctor, Bayonetta and the others at a glance. Even though she didn't know Protoman herself she recognized him from the Mega-man series. There was a certain leap of excitement people received when they recognized what character the person was dressed up as. Nothing needed be said. It was like a bolt of lightning. Hers had a whole story behind it and she was stuck telling it each time.

"I'm Assallya Kressair," she answered, "my D&- Dungeons and Dragons character from our tabletop game. I'm also dead. I mean she's dead..."

She then pointed at the plastic dagger once more, her costume bracelets clinking together making a sound that was definitely cheap plastic and not metal.

"She died last session, dagger throw to the head, so my friends who were supposed to be here thought I should change my costume to reflect that. Hence the body paint and contact lenses. I mean.. it's not the perfect costume since my character was kinda naked at the time I died and you can't really go to a convention naked even if you were crazy enough to be that brave though I hear up in Canada they go in nothing but body painted cloth- but you don't want to hear about all that."

Sarah tittered, a silly little sound and put her hand to her face, black fingernails touching the black stained lips as she shut herself up. That was probably the worst retelling of that story yet by far. Her cheeks once again flushed. Gods, she was a twenty year old and these kids who were years younger than her had more composure than her. Buck up Sarah, she thought to herself, and get with the program! It's a little late to change your costume at this point.

"Sorry... I'm rambling. I sometimes ramble when I get nervous. Soooo... Zelda...in Samus armour... I wonder if that would work as a cosplay?"

David smiled at them all and asked "So going to a diner in character....is it settled?" He looked at them all. They all had great cortumes anbd smiles. "We can playt our games...show our comincs, manga or dvds. We might make some people leave but who cares." He said. He flipped and caught the sonic screwdriver. He then looked at the Sarah girl and smiles "Your costume is nice.....I like it a lot." David stretched and said "So who is ready to go?"

Jason had been zoning out where he stood for a little bit before he looked over at the group again. Shocked that he had been zoning iut. He stood there kind of awkwardly now, seeing as he didn't exactly know who any of these people were.

Julie couldn't help but smile a bit, it's what she kinda expected to happen at a convention, and apparently on the first day as well. She was sure that Mari had no problem with it, and so did herself. It would only add to their overall experience, and possibly really do make some new close friends. Like most would say for this, the more the merrier!

"I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem for all of us to go. We're basically just a group of cosplayers," Julie said with a shrug, pretty sure that it wouldn't be a problem for all of them to go to some nearby diner at the same time. It was better than sticking around at the convention center for too long that security would kick them out...and it wouldn't be long until that happens. Honestly though, in times like this, it was bound that someone was going to lose track of time.

Richard grin slightly at Sarah D&D story "well its not the worst way to die. Recently the dwarf cleric of our party was turn into a rabbit by his patron deity then killed by a critical 1 by a 4 armed merfolk," he said to Sarah while rubbing his chin. "I'll be ready as soon I drop of the guard army that im carrying," Richard pointed at a large case with an Aquila on it.

The Doctor seemed to want to get going and she had to admit he was right. They couldn't just stand here midst the milling throng of convention goers. Admittedly, it wasn't as crowded as it was earlier now that it was close to closing but it was busy enough. Others were moving around them and there was a person working one of the booths casually eavesdropping.

Then Richard, or rather, the one whose name she'd forgotten and suspected as being dressed as Bison from Street Fighter told her a quick story about a dwarf cleric and his ill fate. That tale sounded rather humorous, as if their particular story line was either impromptu or meant to be tongue in cheek. A god transforming someone into a small rabbit felt more like a personal insult or jest towards the player of that character than an actual plot piece.

"Yeah," she admitted, tilting her head and peering down at her bare feet, her face momentarily obscured by her blond wig, "but dead is dead and it rather sucks being dead."

"Count me in, I'd like to see what tricks you got up your sleeves." Tyler said with a smile. Even now he was finding things to do, and he loved it. This was one of the best cosplay conventions he ever went to, he just wished he could have brought Alex. Still, it was good to make new friends in new places, and he had a feeling that David was going to be a good one.

Cameron grinned sheepishly, fidgeting with the camera settings. "Thank you very much! But don't worry about it, it's a pretty unknown anime. It's called UN-GO, if it matters much," he said, lifting his camera up. "You talk really formally. Are you royalty or something? Not that that has to do with anything. I mean- Your cosplay is wonderful! I've watched my friends play Fate/Extra, so this is really cool."

As he rambled on, he pressed the capture button. "You're, um... that fox lady... um... Tammy-something? I always thought she was a really awesome Servant."

What Cameron didn't find out until a few seconds later was that he wasn't taking pictures. He thought he had set the camera on the multi-shot setting, so he was waiting for it to finish. Instead, he had recorded a few seconds worth of his voice and the posing kitsune lady. His eyes widened as the realization hit him. He quickly pressed the button again, cutting off the video. "A- alright, thank you! That was good!" he stammered, trying to stuff the device back into his bag.

David smiles at them now and said "Well, show we get going then?No use staying here while they clean up. Lets go!" He picked up his bag and saw people were leaving. "Follow me ladies and gents. To a diner." He said opening the door for them all. "We can play games, talk about nerdy stuff, and get to know each other more." David smiled at them all, and loved acting like the Doctor.

Well, it looked like a good time to head out, considering that it was possibly only a few more minutes before they're forced out of the convention building. It was a given that she and Mari would tag along with them to the diner, since playing games was always better with more people and so did talking about their interests in that time. Giving a quick glance at her friend, Julie walked over to the open door that David had open for them.

"You know what they say. It's not a party until we get a crowd," she said with her impression of a British accent. She didn't really care that they were going to a diner and that some of them had cosplays that were way out there, but then again, who really cared about that?

With a smile, Tyler began to follow David out of the building. "So, which diner are we heading to, Doc?" He asked, still using his Proto Man impression. He was sure he had enough items that David would like, and that his skills could match his with gaming. He had found Mega Man to be the character that worked with him the most, even better than his past main character Link. Despite eating quite a few tasty snacks, he had gotten quite hungry, so even without all the added entertainment he was happy to get something to eat.

Sarah had to admit, getting something to eat would be nice. Getting food inside a convention usually involved nothing more than a hot dog you could trade for a DVD box set and she'd rather have the box set. That meant she hadn't eaten since first thing in the morning and that was just a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.

Falling into step behind the Doctor and the one from the Mega-Man series Sarah found herself wishing she'd brought her cellular. Today she'd really liked to have access to wikipedia so she could identify who the red and white android was and what his back story was. For all she knew he was working for Dr. Wiley. She'd also like to know more about Zelda since the dawn of the new generation consoles. Apparently she'd changed a lot since those first games.

Then, she skipped ahead, turned around and walked backwards, half-skipping. Her plastic anklets and bracelets jangled against one another and her bag of goodies bounced against one of her thighs. She had to admit things were \picking up just as they were winding down.

"Well, if you expect me to play in character," she quipped, lips twisting wryly, "someone had best be ready to drag my sorry carcass around."
