"Everyone...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to..."
"I won't fail again. This time...this time, we'll make it." It all started with an innocent statement: "There's a weird house about an hour outside of town," or something like that. Nobody seems to remember exactly who said it first, but the rumor circulated quickly among the youths of Torrine. Eventually, one way or another, a group of kids ended up in front of the large and curious mansion. Of course, they came on a sunny Saturday afternoon, with plenty of time before it gets dark so they could safely take a look. Everything is fine, and the place is fairly normal looking, even.
At least, until someone notices something strange about the large mirror in the front hall.
While we're on the topic of strange things in this house, does anyone even know that transfer student? And does anyone else feel an odd sense of deja vu?
So, the goal is to find out what occurred in this house and find a way to open the front door or otherwise get out. I'll admit that this is based on Ao Oni and a certain variation on it, but you need absolutely no knowledge of the games to play. Solve a few puzzles/riddles, discover what's going on in this house, avoid and/or defeat the monsters, and get out: It's that simple.
Exactly how does it work? Just use the information provided. My goal is to use any and all IC means to guide characters towards certain plot points while allowing them to make their own decisions and allow for proper character development.
What exactly will everyone do when they discover the truth, though?

Personality: The odd transfer student!
A very cheerful, optimistic character, he seems to have a very sunny and perhaps naïve view on life at first glance. He really cares about the people around him, but may have some trouble really understanding them at times. Nevertheless, that won't stop him from trying! While he might not be the most physically capable, and his perceived common sense may come into question at times, he does appear to have a thing for drawing and painting. However, his artwork tends to reflect his childish nature most of the time.
He may act a bit strange at times, but isn't everything else strange already...?
Bio: (TBR) Exactly what he is doing here is unknown, but he says that he was just curious about the house and came to see if there was anything there.
Other: He carries a sketchbook on him at all times. It seems that he likes to draw in it quite often.
Kido also seems to like wearing girls' clothing sometimes. It all depends on what he feels comfortable in at the moment.

Bio: Alex has always wondered about the creepy old house outside of town. The rumors and speculation that buzz through the words people speak of it has sparked a curiosity that never seemed to go away. A bit of research came up with nothing factual, only more rumor of how it's a ghost house or murder mystery home or any of the other various rumors. He took it upon himself to find out the truth; arriving there to see other schoolmates in front of the house. Seems curiosity got the better of them as well.

Iranda is straightforward nature and believe that one's gender doesn't define one's choices. she displays more practical and responsible qualities, and is not easily swayed by her family memebers. Although she may be unflappable under normal circumstances, Apart from this, she tends to have a peaceful nature, refuses to shirk work and is crazy about food,(which is sometimes used as a bribe to involve her in the crazier schemes of things). Without such bribery, however, Iranda is described as "apathetic," especially when it comes to making decision. She is also rather oblivious when it comes to her own emotions.

Poppy is a clever girl. She's always getting one of the high grades in her class. She's the type that's too honest to people that it hurts. You know that saying? The truth hurts. Poppy is a neat girl who always has her room tidy. She's really sarcastic and hates being interrupted. She's one of those reserved people who barely talks to people. She's that one girl in class who always ahead of everyone. She also get's really excited whenever her parents praise her of how well she's doing. As you can see, everything she achieves in life was for her parents. To put it in better words, Poppy get's good grades for her parents. She becomes quiet for her parents. She isn't suppose to love anyone because of her parents. She truly is an obedient girl, huh?

Her mother, having been born in America, fell in love with a Japanese man while she was on vacation. Thus, Poppy was half American half Japanese. She was raised in America as a child and led a normal life; Poppy's never lived in a horrible environment. Except for the fact that her mother and father were extremely religious, but that was a normal occurrence for her. They owned a church which attracted the attention of a lot of people. Poppy never really attended their events. Its not that she didn't like church, it was mainly because she was too focused on her studies, too busy trying to please her parents. Her whole life has been governed by her parent's wishes. For example, her mother believes that cutting Poppy's hair goes against God's will, so Poppy has never gotten a haircut. On her parent's whim, they moved in with Poppy's grandparents in Japan. Her parents wanted to become missionaries, they wanted to convert other people to their religion, and save them from damnation. Eventually, they stayed for the long run and Poppy was registered in her neighborhood's High School. Poppy was really curious about the whole house so she decided to check it out.
