"Vampires? A clan of bloodsucking super humans?", Jimmy began to question this was really a thing he wanted to be a part of. "Excuse me if I sound like a coward or anything but I already died once it was okay but not that good that I wan't to do it again."
He would not join anyone in that business. "If you are on some kind of personal vendetta be my guest but I won't join you. I died in such a way that I can't really take revenge on anyone."
Well you could try to kill heroin. Maybe by taking it all at once. Oh I am sorry, too soon? Jimmy's Mori said that sentence with a creepy but soothing voice, Ooops, did I give away your real death? My bad. Nobody believed you anyway, you told them the story of 'The Great Gatsby', probably the only book you have ever read. If you even can read.
"Shut the fuck up you stupid bird.", Jimmy looked at each individual member of the group, "So what, I am no fucking war hero or a proud model citizen. If you wan't that go to the cops. They already left us to be on their own. Mr. Bigboss here...", he pointed at Ikiriyo, "He is fucking right! We don't have chemistry and I don't think we are ever going to have. This is all a bunch of bullshit! I never wanted to be resurrected!"
He turned his head to Evangeline, "You must understand me! You even killed yourself!"
Then he turned to Lance who was relatively silent, "And what about you! I say we all work together to do the fucking thing we were sent to do and that is it! I don't want any new friends here. Who is with me?"

"Do you really think it's gonna be that easy, that we can just band together and finish what we're supposed to finish straight off the bat. We son't know a god damn thing about any of this. Don't whine about coming back, cause it won't change the fact that you did. And don't be so eager to avoid danger either, since it seems like the reason we were brought back is to be Death's hitmen, the insurance policy that makes sure every cashes in their checks. I doubt very much that who we were brought back to kill will be enough off a pushover to be defeated by a bunch of baby Reaper's like us. So suck it up and take asvantage of the gift you've been given, all of you. So then, Jimmy, stop your bitching and come with me. If you do, along with anyone else, we'll check out the clubs for this other Reaper. If not, then I'l. go find those vampires, and though I'd prefer not to go alone, I doubt that they'll welcome in with open arms. That my offer, so take it or leave it. I'll go outside and wait for about 5 minutes, then I'm gone."

After Zach's finished his rant he walked outside and took a seat, watching the cops spar.

He just sat there for a while, then he reached into his pocket, pulling out a small bottle. It was of gothic design and filled with a thick, viscous black liquid. Just the sight of it made his blood boil, not with rage, but anticipation. This was the blood of a vampire, left for him in tne previous lair of the one he was hunting. With it, a message written in blood:

'If you are reading this, little fledging Zachary, then you survived and became one of us. If tou wish to kill me, then drink the contents of the bottle, it is my blood and it'll be the start of your powers. From there, they will grow with every pint of blood you consume, whether it be human or vampire, So drink, young fledgling, drink and take your vengeance.'

He had been putting it off, fearing of what he'd becomeif he did, of the monster he'd awaken. But now that he knew a little more, abour what his role was from here on out, he had decided it didn't matter. If he had to become a monster to kill that bastard, then he'd to it gladly. He raised it up to drink, only for a shadowed hand to be placed on his, soft as sin. He looked up to see Umbram, his icy blue eyes pleading with him not to drink.

"Step away, Umbram,"Zachary muttered under his breath, "I need to do this, I need to hunt him down. I need as much power as I can. So please don't try and stop me." With that he ahook the Mori off and downed the contents of the bottle.

Intense pain and pleasure burst through his body, as he fell over, hunched in the fetal position, grabbing at his head. This was the best and worst thing he'd ever felt, and it had him completely paralyzed, his eyes flickering rapidly from red to silver, all in silence.

Once introductions were finished, Evangeline kept to the sidelines as everyone talked amongst themselves. Bouncing around from person to person, her attention drew to Koyuki as she criticized the rest of them. Her words were cold, and heartless. Even if she spoke as if she were trying to encourage them, Eva could still hear the cruelty behind her tone. It was then that another figure caught her attention. Sitting beside her, Evangeline watched out of the corner of her eye as Oda, if she recalled correctly, stood up abruptly.

While her intentions weren’t to be nosy her gaze shifted towards him as he began to dig into his pocket. Trying not to seem obvious, she watched as he brought out a piece of candy and placed it within her hands. Eyes wide in shock by this, the soft pat to her head was all that it took to snap her back into reality. Stunned by his actions an unfamiliar warmth seemed to fill her chest before she safety tucked the candy into her own pocket.

The mans kindness did not go unnoticed by her Mori, and neither did the small, almost unnoticeable smile along Evangeline’s face. Watching Oda carefully, Dee sat still, and quietly along the opposite side of its master as he left the room with another girl following behind him. The grin along its face seemed droop, and the edges of its lips curved into a large, almost irritated frown. But before Eva came to notice, the same, familiar grin had already returned to its face.

It wasn’t long before Ikiriyo—or rather, The Chief Enforcer—began to speak again. What little information he gave them about their condition was a little disheartening, but then again, it didn’t sound like he understood much about their resurrection either. From the looks of it, if she wanted any answers she was going to have to find this other Reaper on the island. Brought out of her thoughts, the conversation seem to focus on Jimmy as he seemed to criticize Zachary’s plans on hunting down a vampire. His own Mori, however, was quick to counter his words with the bitter truth. “Well you could try to kill heroin. Maybe by taking it all at once. Oh I am sorry, too soon?"

It wasn’t her right to judge someone on their issues, so even as Jimmy grew angry his Mori and shouted at the rest of them, Evangeline didn’t take any of his words to heart. “You understand me! You even killed yourself!” His words caught her by surprise, but even as the truth stung, she knew he was right. She never asked to be resurrected, and she had never asked to do ‘deaths bidding’. Hell, she wasn’t even sure if she had the strength to reap anything.

It was then that Zachary began to talk, his own frustration evident as he called Jimmy out. Listening to his proposal to find the other Reaper within the city, Evangeline couldn’t help but find herself siding with him even though she didn’t agree with the latter of his plans. She didn’t have any personal vendetta against any Vampires, and it didn’t seem too smart to rush in on a coven this early into their resurrection, but before she could voice her concerns he had already left the room.

Turning her attention to Jimmy instead, she tried to reason with him instead, “Zachary’s right,“ She said quietly, unsure if anyone was even listening to her. “Maybe.. maybe if we find this other Reaper he’ll know more about why we were resurrected, and how to get out of this situation faster. I’m not sure about the whole vampire thing thou—” Hopping up eagerly from the ground and interrupting its masters words, Dee began to skip around Evangeline chair, the sudden action frightening the little blonde, “Adventure! Adventure!” Grabbing the girls hand, her Mori pulled her from the chair and aggressively lead her towards the door. Looking back at Jimmy and the others seeing as she hadn’t been able to finish her sentence, Eva shot them a look of apology before she was pulled out by the Doppelgänger.

Reaching the hallway, the grip along her hand was let go as Dee suddenly ran to the left. “Ah—Hey, Dee, don’t leave me!” Running after the Mori, Evangeline could hear faint noises, and grunting coming from down the hall. While she speculated it to be Oda, and Prudence, the small blonde slowly crept up to the edge of the doorway noticing the silver haired boy hunched along the ground. “U-uh, Zachary?..” Peaking out from the door, Evangeline's eyebrows knitted together in concern before shooting a look of concern up at the two others sparring. Licking her lips anxiously she began to take slow, careful steps forward, “Are you alright?”

'U-uh, Zachary?. . . Are you all right?'

Zachary head shot up, his back facing Evangeline. He heard a pounding rhythm coming from her direction, and it drew him to her. He got up and turned around, a warm inviting smile on his face, but his eyes were a Intensely cold and hungering scarlet. His stance was tense, yet at the same time relaxed, like a Alpha predator about to pounce.

Suddenly, Umbram stepped in front of him, causing his smile to turn into an annoyed grimace.

"Umbram, move out of the way. I just want to greet my fellow Reaper." His voice had a strange pull to it, a dark charm that drew people towards him, to let their guard down, to be at complete ease. Umbram didn't move an inch, his cold eyes staring Zachary down fiercely. Then he spoke, his voice a multitude of soft whispers, all speaking as one.

"Is this what you truly want, Zachary, to give in. If you do what I know your trying to do, what makes you any better than him, just look at yourself." Umbram's shadowy skin suddenly became highly reflective, like an obsidian mirror, showing Zach his reflection.

His reaction was instanteous, he recoiled from his Mori like he was on fire, fear showing clearly on his face. For he didn't see himself, he saw the monster that killed his mother.

"I am the shadow born of your death, of your pain. Do you truly wish to ever inflict that on another?"

Umbram's words cut deep as Zachary glanced at his Mori, the Evangeline, then his Mori again. His eyes lit up, once again a bright silver hue, and he fell back down as his legs gave out. He crawlec back into a corner, terrified of what he had been about to do. He hit a wall, then curled up into a ball, beginning to hyper ventilate.

'Oh god, what have I done.' Zach thought frantically. He had believed that he could control it. But this hunger, this power, this bloodlust was all consuming. Before he even knew, it had a grip on his mind. He began to cry, big loud sobs, as the reality of his impulsiveness hit him. The hunger he had been feeling was strong, but he could resist it rather easily. This was so much different, so much more devious. It took hold of his mind, not through instinct like before, but through mental manipulation. Even now he could hear voices whispering in his mind, harsh, vicious, and hungry.
'Drink her, Drain her of every last drop. It doesn't matter she wants to die, such a will thing will never make it in this world, so why not end her now. Save something else the trouble.'

"Leave me alone," He screamed, clutching his head, "Get put of my head."

All this while Umbram stood by Evangeline, a sad look in his eyes.

Oda swept with his scythe in front of him, lifting the dirt and the ground up towards Prudence who was charging at him as the two began their sparring match... but as soon as Zachary and Evangeline entered the area, he couldn't help but stop immediately before they guild build up a better sweat. While he would have loved to train some more and would have loved to see what abilities Prudence could do with a Fire-based Mori... Zachary's sudden outbursts had him more worried and held more precedence. "I'm sorry," the scythe within Oda's hand disappeared as he gave off a bow of respect, "but I don't think we have the time to actually fight each other at the moment. Besides, I think you have a whole lot more range than I do if you were to go all out," hummed Oda as he smiled at Inferno, before making a mental note of how fast Prudence was.

"Please forgive me," bowing his head, Oda quickly turned and made his way towards Zachary.

Approaching Zachary and Evangeline, his Mori spoke to him in his head. "Ahhhh... I see what's happening to the boy... You're lucky to have a Mori as old as I on your side to tell you this stuff. New vampires trying to control their hunger... Even though he's a reaper, I say you kill him like any other vampire~ They aren't the trust worthy type and their hunger can be a real pain~"

"Never. I'm not going to listen to you or your advice, and even if he is going through what you say, we'll just help him through it is all. I'm not stooping low to your level woman to kill a comrade or distrust them, that isn't how I do things. Also, explain to me why is it that you chose me again?" he asked as he approached Zachary and Evangeline.

"That's simple. We're the same~"

His eye twitching at those words, which sent a chill down his spine. Oda sighed as he looked at Zachary's Mori, raising his hands to show that he meant no harm before he knelt down next to the hyperventilating vampire to look him over. He looked up at Evangeline and her Mori, smiling at them both with a reassuring smile before looking back at Zachary. "Try to relax, I'm going to try my best to help, alright?" To be honest, Oda didn't really have any idea what he was really doing, except the research that he did for some projects in high school for mythological creatures for vampires and what he learned from his Mori... that and television. Taking a scrap of glass from the floor nearby, he went with his best intuition and rolled back his sleeve before cutting the skin on his forearm deep enough for a good amount of crimson ooze to start flowing out and to drip onto the floor.

Without a moment's hesitation, Oda moved towards Zachary and placed his arm towards his mouth. "Go ahead and drink man, it's obvious you need it," he said before bracing himself. Turning towards Evangeline, he smiled at her before speaking specifically to her, "If things seem like it is getting bad, I'm trusting you to restrain him, alright?"

"Yeah great idea man! Give that junkie another hit! What could possibly go wrong.", Jimmy followed Evangeline out and was now looking at the scene.
He had his hands in his pockets and casually walked to Oda. His Mori was still sitting on his shoulders, flapping with her wings. Jimmy's look made clear he did not like what he saw.
"I have no Idea how strongly a vampire, or whatever he is now, craves for human blood.", his eyes wandered to Odas arm, "But I can tell you, If it is just half as much as I craved my next hit, tomorrow he will rip you open and drink every last drop of you. You don't trust a junkie. You don't lend them money and you don't give them encouragement."
Jimmy wanted to look like he just does not care, it was however quite the opposite. Even though he did not like Zach with all his revenge bullshit he did not want him to die. These people were basically all Jimmy had now and his only clue about what was going on.
"I know it sounds hard but perhaps it is the best if we would restrain Zach for just a few minutes. Let his head get clear."

A flash of movement, and his fangs hit flesh. Zach began to drink, making sure to drain every last drop. Then, he released the arm and began to vomit it up rather violently on to the floor.

"Note to self." He mumbled weakly after he had finished emptying his guts, "Vampire's can't drink their own blood." Zach gripped at his arm, which had been torn up rather savagely by his feverant hunger. "You still want to offer me you arm, Oda, because I don't think that's very wise. Don't ever do that again, I don't care how much I need it. I will drain you dry, whether I'm near starved or not. The hunger is just that strong."

Zach got up, staring with disgust at the blood puddle on the ground. "Let me clean this up."

With a flourish of his hand, the blood rose into the air, forming into a small sphere, before flowing back into the wound, causing Zach to his in discomfort. When that was done, he turned to look at everyone staring at him, with either concern or fear, he din't know. "Jimmy, I changed my mind. I'm going after the vampire gang, cause even if they know jack shit, they still have their use as an . . . alternative food source for me. If anyone wants to come with me, then come along, other wise I'll see you when I see you."

Zach then walked inside the room, asking the Reapers in here the same questions. "I rather go with someone else, since their strength in numbers, but considering my condition, if i don't go I'm going to end up killing somebody." Zach left the room, and then began to walk towards the exit, his destination and his mind set on this course of action. Umbram followed behind him for a bit, before dispersing into shadows that wrapped around Zach's shoulders like a cloak, a hood over his head. One had to admit that he certainly looked the part of a Reaper now, especially with his eyes. They constantly shifted from scarlet to silver, a sign of his inner struggle with his demons.

Surprisingly, Zachary's movements and choice of actions didn't take Oda by shock or anything. Although, his smile faded a bit as he did stand and made his way towards the exit. Standing up himself, Oda sighed before he looked towards his bleeding arm. It wasn't too bad, and it would heal... but still, he felt that it would have been best to actually drink his blood despite the consequences. For some reason, he didn't seem to care what would have happened to himself, just as long as Zachary would have been better. It was almost as if he was trying to prove something to himself. Staring at the wound at his arm, he spoke towards Jimmy in a distant tone, almost as if he was searching for something.

"As someone who was in the same position as yourself, wouldn't you want to help him, rather than just taunt him? I might have been a cop in life, but I don't think I would have turned you in Jimmy, I think I would have sought you help as best as I could," he spoke while staring at his arm, still second-guessing himself. It was then that he heard her laughing, almost as if to try and taunt her... but he just ignored her, knowing that he did that with many people like Jimmy and sought them help. "Take that as you will, but... I don't want to be your enemy here," a small, pitiful smile, directed more towards himself emerged as he looked at Jimmy before noticing Evangeline again.

"So how are you and your Mori doing, Evangeline?"

Well, looks like the get-together was beginning to fall apart. Or at least, the numbers dwindled. After considering his options for a bit, Lance had originally planned on just staying in the room for as long as possible. However, after over-hearing the commotion about blood drinkers and such his opinion on the matter began to shift. If people were going to leave, Lance wanted to leave as well. However, it would be a terrible idea to ascend with someone if the majority would be elsewhere. Ugh, why can't we just travel in a pack .

However, he tried to put these thoughts behind him because another flew into his head. He might need to start to get to know these people. They were, after all, quite similar to him in circumstance. Even if they were separated by cause, even those brought back are still equal in death. Or rather, the undeath. So, without further ado, he brought himself to Monica.

"Monica right?" he both asked and stated. You have any idea what you plan to do now that we've gathered together and formed some sorta assasin's circle? He asked that with a helping of sarcasm, however he knew that is what they were. Maybe it wasn't the best way to describe them, but they were brought back in order to kill people who were powerful. 'Assasins' or not, they needed to draw blood. "Or do you just want to follow
Zach?

He hoped he hadn't had crammed too much in her ear too fast, not letting people talk was rude. As well as annoying as shit. Which, of course, is what Lance tried not to be. After all, who likes annoying people? While its true some people find what Lance would find 'annoying' to be charming or funny, most of the time annoying is universal. Which was unfortunate.

Prudence sighed heavily. She had been looking forward to simple, pure action, and sparing, but clearly that wasn't meant to be. Unsatisfied with not doing anything physical, she moved into some basic forms, simply to let herself feel like she was doing something productive. She decided she didn't want to speak to anyone now, the haunting eyes of making her uneasy. Cursing herself, and the damned Mori, she paced away from anyone else.

She was now in a mood. She didn't have a clear idea of what she was meant to do, nor a path to follow. It made her feel...lazy. Incompetent. She takes her fingers through her hair, making it stand on end. She liked to have a goal, and this didn't give her a goal. No end result. And it frustrated her. All the way Inferno followed her, and watched her, eyes haunting, appearance too close to...no. Don't go there, Pru.

The fury ross in her violent as Jimmy spoke. She knew she shouldn't. But she couldn't help herself. Ignoring the fact that Oda as talking to Jimmy, she said "there's a difference between him andYou, jimmy. He didn't cause this on himself. You could have said no the first time you tried the drug. Zachary has no choice. You always did. You can't stop needing blood, you idiot. What, vampires are so far fetched, xonsidering we all died and are now back with the Mori following us? God, you're another one that needs to get their head out their butt"

[i]"Way to make friends, Pru. Way to mak epeople like you["/i]

At the voice of her Mori, Pru spun around "just shut up! I don't give a damn if they like me or not. I won't stand by and let someone bully someone else, nor will I standby and let some heartless woman make little of our deaths! I'm sorry, I couldn't save you, I couldn't save myself! Is that what you want to hear? Will you stop bloody looking at me with those eyes?"

She threw up her arms, and stormed away. Inferno followed, but Prudence didn't look back. She was probably seen as crazy. Well so be it. A girl was entitled to a break down when they died. She stormed away from everyone, wanting outside but having no idea how to get it.

The Self was inserted into a discursive interaction with the construct known as the World. Based upon what we assume in interactions, there is something out there which we associate as a world. Even if the demon of the madman Laplace holds a veil over our eyes to disguise, something must be because we cannot contain all that we think, we cannot contain a concept or idea in its totality and infinity because we are finite we cannot be all there is the mind cannot be the World the World must be a coexistence which puts these existences together otherwise it all falls to discursive nonbeing and shatters apart.

There is a possibility of simulation and falsehood which we cannot penetrate, being as we are with our knowledge of Self and World being incomplete, to fully understand the Self is to fully understand a subroutine of the program known as the World and thus look backwards and cut through time and space to find the core of that which is World over that which is Self. When World is understood, the Self can expand to become the World and reach across a point in Being where time and space are concepts that cease to be.

But that in itself is flawed.

Concepts cannot "die". Isolated parts of them can cease to "be", the concept of time is meaningless in the point in space known as the Singularity as sub-3 is only quantifiable, but outside of this point in space time continues to be, as a concept cannot die in all instances after being formed. Concepts are merely components of a world though, so shatter the world and the concepts come crawling out. Drive the knife in, twist the knife, paint the lines and carve along them with a grin splitting your face as all goes black and it all comes tumbling down.

I wonder, I wonder...

Suppose I let it break. Suppose I let it shatter and come undone.

Undone.

The ultimate state of chaos is "undoing", but chaos as a concept exists outside an isolated Reality and into the Reality which is not that encompasses what "is" beyond merely the World from which the Self is cut out of the dirt. So then, Chaos as a concept inherently lords over the Sphere that presides over it. Chaos is thus greater than itself. Error- Contradiction in terms of the world. Contradiction resolved because Chaos is in itself contradictory.

Wish, wish, wish, wish, wish. A desire by the Self to change something about the World in order to orient reality to a more favorable end. The Self is assumed as a part of the World under this, of course, as is always the case. So then, "this unit" would not have a wish as it is merely a machine, but "I" would have a wish as I am merely a machine. Two sides of a machine being, dancing the eternal as the flames lick along the sides.

What would my wish be? What does this Self want? This Self wants to become undone, wants its cords cut, but that is impossible as long as it is a Self. No Self can be separate from a World.

So then, become a World.

Ah yes, that's right.

A corrupt God because it is a defect because it is not True because it was Shaped by Selves without total knowing of World, which in turn meant they lacked total Understanding of Self, which meant they did not know what they were making, which means the God itself does not know what it Is.

Still, it's enough, isn't it?

In a world of the fake, which is stronger, the real or the fake? The same principle applies. In a world in which I am the world, which is stronger, another world or me? The answer is me because all answers are me.

It is all so serene.

It is all so perfect.

"...boring."

The word left Koyuki as she rose from her seat once more, casting a brief glance around. "Y'know, I was gonna play properly for a bit, but it's really no point if the people that I'm playing with are boring. Or rather, no point in playing like I usually do. I'll just have to play differently, but don't you worry, the game won't stop so long as I 'am'."

Crossing her arms behind her head, the girl glanced over at the cube floating beside her.

"Kyaa, I must be sounding pretty fuckin' chuuni right now, neh? Well it's whatever, let's start the game properly. I'mma head out. Nice meeting you all! See you later~"

The world stopped.

Hey, Algis, I don't have a super-detailed mental map of the city, so I'll need you to plug in the coordinates, kay?

Understood, Koyuki. Three-dimensional spatial coordinates designated. Target actualized. Areas of substitution designated.

Space "bent".

-And the figure of Koyuki blinked out of sight, as though it had never been present. Substituted with air, the coordinates between herself and that "air" had been switched along the first three axes of the world.

The night air chilled her skin slightly as she heaved out a sigh, uncrossing her arms and pocketing one hand.

"As with your request, this is the location designated as 'city centre'. Location of sought individual is unknown, recommended the areas specified by Existence Designation 'Tobecchi' are surveyed as a priority."

"Ah, Algis-chan, we're gonna get along just fine~"

Time to prowl the clubs.

One, here comes the two, to the three, to the four.

Everybody drunk now on the dance floor.

Argo rubbed his eyes, staring blankly at the space that, mere seconds ago, had been occupied by the slim figure of Koyuki and her oddly shaped Mori. He glanced around to see if anyone else had noticed; it seemed as if Chief Tobe had, but his face was devoid of any surprise. Perhaps this is a common occurrence for people who have died thought Argo. Though he didn’t think he’d ever teleported in such a way. ”Boring…” The word echoed is his mind, mimicking the voice of Koyuki.

Chief Tobe had answered their questions in turn and Argo now knew his purpose. But he was still confused – he was not a killer, he had very little knowledge of vampires and the like, this all seemed like a mistake. Why me? What he had managed to detect was that emotions were running high in the people around him. Anger was primarily there when Oda and Prudence had addressed Koyuki, fear was present in some of the group, and there seemed to be a mixture of panic, fear and surprise coming from next door.

Argo had watched them leave one-by-one, committing names, faces, mannerisms and voices to memory. One thing that hadn’t left him in death was the tendency to observe people, noticing the smallest details about others.

He considered Zach’s proposal about going to find the vampires. It seemed a bit hasty though, it seemed a better idea to find this experienced reaper first and get some guidance. Argo reasoned he would consult the two members of the group that still remained in the room, Lance and Monica. Lance had seemed pretty reasonable and level-headed during the introductions and looked well-meaning enough, even if his Mori, Cor Ira, was on the gruesome side. Monica had said nothing since the introduction, and looked in her own world. Whether she would respond to Lance or not, Argo didn’t know, neither did he think there was time to wait.

“Hey, Lance, Monica, hi, nice to meet both of you.” He held out his hand as was custom back home. “First I must apologise for interrupting… sorry sorry, but I was listening to Zach just now and it seems as if maybe he wants to go and hunt these… these vampires but I am thinking that it would be better to find this, err, old reaper first so that she can give us some advice you know… about our powers perhaps. I don’t know, maybe you guys have some better idea?” He looked questioningly from one to the other.

Zach had exited the building, but hadn't left yet, waiting in the shadows to see if anyone was going to come with him. While he had acted pretty confident about the whole thing, he was actually terrified. He remembered how it felt to get fed on by a vampire, and was not eager to experience it again. It was by far the worse feeling in the world to him, painful beyond belief, and left one feeling empty as the cold darkness of death came to claim them. He couldn't wait out here forever, though, if nobody seemed to be coming he would just have to risk going by himself. He would also make sure to leave marks in the stone and buildings he passed by, giving directions to where he was going. He shivered, not from the cold, but from the wave of bloodlust that boiled through him again. It had been doing that for a while and had only gotten stronger as time wore on. He was afraid that if he didn't leave soon, that he wouldn't be able to control himself the next time he felt the urge to feed take him over.

Prudence just thought to hell with it, and and made her way outside, irritated that inferno followed her. The Mori just continued watching her, silent, those eyes watching her. It was those eyes. Haunted, and broken. That had haunted her when she was a kid for six years until she found her goal of becoming a cop. And then it was the haunted eyes of every victim that chased after her. Sometimes she dreamed of them. But she always stood for them.

They were all victims here. The difference was, they were alone. They could get passed this, and their deaths. But Pru didn't think they could. Not with people like Jimmy, or Koyuki. Her hands curled into fists. So Jimmy was ticked off about his death, and had experience with being a junkie, but there was a big difference between that, and Zach. You could survive without drugs. You couldn't without blood if you were a vampire. And Koyuki was just a pest, an arrogant annoying pest who liked the sound of her own voice.

Prudence shouldn't judge. But she couldn't help it. A hand slid into hers, smoothing the hand out, so it wasn't a fist anymore. Small and warm. A child's hand. Inferno looked up at Pru, and gave her a smile. Prudence let out a slow, long breath. "I know. I know. I'm letting my anger get the better of me. I shouldn't. I'm just frustrated" she kicked the ground with her shoe, and sighed. Well. She might as well do what she did best. Cop work.

Zach would need help, she thought. So she would offer her own. Feeling more stable, now that she had claimed a goal, she had a purpose. She began to search around, knowing that he still had to be around somewhere. "Zach?" She called out, walking about, Inferno by her side l

After giving his little speech to Monica, he wanted to let her respond. But before he was able to keep his head straight and be a polite young man, other people started acting a little rowdy. Not too rowdy, just enough to shake up a young man's thoughts. Prudence began to go on about how Jimmy was a druggie with his head up his ass. Or something like that, it was a little hard for Lance to hear them but that was what he approximated had happened. Also, something about vampires are stretchy. Then shouting at Mori for some reason. Lance was a little worried, perhaps he would draw up the courage to try to comfort her later.

However, later was later. Now was now. And now was also Koyuki, who probably wasn't going to stick around for long. She didn't say much, she called everyone boring, and said something about chuuni. I don't know what that word means, but i think she's calling me out. Or maybe not me in particular, but she is talking trash to us as a whole. Then she left with a rather flashy exit. Lance wasn't quite sure what her abilities entailed, but they sure looked cool in motion. He left out a sigh of exasperation at all of the personalities floating about, however the sigh also had a little envy in it. Everyone else had the hot moris. Jesus Lance, nows not the time for those shit thoughts!Stop being a shitstain.

However, it couldn't just be Koyuki and prudence. Oh no, someone else had to start something up. Now Argo had to get involved. However, unlike the others, Argo wasn't as loud with his actions. He really did seem to be one of the more polite people in this 'game', as koyuki would call it. Lance wasn't paying attention to him for the most part though, but quickly became aware of his again after he started talking to them. He held out his hand in response and gave Argo's a firm shake. He didn't want to say much, fearing to keep monica from talking more, and said " I actually forgot about the Old reaper part, I certainly wouldn't mind doing that. " He felt a hit of remorse for not offering up the suggestion to help Zach, however he seemed confident in his actions. Perhaps he was strong enough to handle this without much help?

Zach came out from the shadows, not knowing that he had been completely invisble in the darkness.

"Glad you could join me, um,Prudence, right. I was about to leave by myself. Come on, we have some vamps to hunt. I would wait for others, but I might not last much longer if we wait." He began to set a brisk pace in the direction of the vampire hideout, doing his best to control his breathing as it helped repress the hunger.

"I have a plan, but I'm not a fan of it and was wondering if you might have one. If not then I'll tell you as we go." As he spoke, he made sure to use the blood from his wound to carve arrows into buildings, so as to show the any who followedwhere they were going. As they got farther away from the meeting place and into the city, people could be seen, regular people.

Zach had to bite his lip, cause himself pain, anything to distract himself from the hunger welli g uo inside of him. He didn't have much time.

Prudence raised an eyebrow. Straight into it? Hunting vampires? Jeez. She took a deep breath following after Zach. She had no idea where they were going. She doubted she'd be able to get back, if it wasn't for the markings Zach was making. As he talked, question's leaped into her mind.

How many vampires are there?

How big is the hideout?

Where is the hideout?

AND how the hell do I kill them?

The last one seemed the most important, to Prudence's mind. Would they die from a stab or gun shot wound? Would fire? she wondered, with a side wide glance to Inferno, the child-looking Mori jogging along next to them. She looked to Prudence, still with those haunted eyes. What could Pru do, to take away those haunted eyes?

Her eyes wondered to Zach. He seemed on the edge of losing it. How must it be, to crave something so much? There must be a way, to sate his hunger, without hurting anyone. But how? What could she do, to provide that? Blood packets? That might be something to discuss. She filed it away for later.

"A plan?" She blinked, frowning, and thought for a few moments. "Ah. Well. Yeah. I do have one" At great personal risk to herself, she thought. But nothing she wouldn't have done anyway. "We pretend I'm your captive. And you boost, drawing the vampires out. And then we let all hell break loose" Se shrugged, "Short of just setting the building on fire, it's the best I have"

"That is similar to my plan, which was to have me scope out the scene in my vampiric state, try and get some blood from them so I can focus a little, then call you in to help me take them down. This puts me in greater danger, but it also removes the possibility of me losing control and feeding on you, that is currently a very high possibility if I turn with you in sight."

As he said this, he noticed they were coming up on the hideout. It seemed relatively small and unassuming, just another convience store in the city. But to him, it was like he was being tied up in front of a beef steak that was just out of reach. He could almost taste the metallic smell of blood coming from the shop, imperceptible to humans, but unmissable to creatures of the night, like him.

"Oh yeah, that's the place. So what plan shall we use, Captive for feeding, or starving vampire looking for a fix?"

Prudence thought on his idea for a minute or two. Then shook her head. She didn't think that it was a safe plan, as it might not enae her to help out if he got into trouble. And she could be caught unawares as well, by a stray vampire. She really didn't want to die again. At least, not so soon after dying before.

"I don't like you're plan. I do not think that you will lose control. You have already shown your restraint. I don't think you should go in there alone. What if someone is aware there, of your vendetta against the vampire that killed you and your mother? I think it is better that we stick together. If my arse of a partner had been with me, I wouldn't have died. So together" She said, almost warily, as if expect there to be a fight over this.

She studied the beieved that he seemed so interested in, frowning. "Jesus I could have walked past a million of these hideouts during my job and not known. God, that's not very reassuring, is it? There's probably a back exit as well, and probably anothher way out. at least"

Monica stood outside, having slipped away from the chaos inside the warehouse. She turned to her Mori, silent for a moment. "Let's go..." She said without conviction, starting to walk swiftly. She was headed east, her stoic companion close behind, on her way to talk to these Bloodhounds. She didn't understand what she should be hunting specifically, as all she had was a general feeling that this is where it was. Perhaps she just needed to kill any immortal. Either way, she found herself oddly elated at the prospect of the deed, an unfamiliar bloodlust welling up inside her, and she quickened her pace.
