Physical Description:
Aida is a sporty young woman, tall and muscular by most teenage girls' standards. She sees eye to eye with most men her age, standing 5'11" tall. Her hobbies have given her body good definition and kept her lean. Her northern European descent has given her a pale complexion, honey-gold hair, and ice blue eyes. She keeps her hair shoulder-length, and usually curled. Aida's casual attire is usually jeans, tanks or halters, and turtleneck sweaters if the weather calls for them. Workout wear is usually compression pants and a sports bra.

Aida's "Stiction" costume is a custom zentai suit. The primary color is dark green, with a black stripe running up the outer side of each leg up to the armpit. The collar area of the suit is also black, meeting with where the stripes end. Even though the suit has a full face mask, the material over the eyes is black in a 'domino mask' shape. The chest features a downward pointed pentagon in light green, with each of the sides slightly concaved. The pentagon is outlined thinly in black.

General Personality:
Aida gets bored easily, and pens up a lot of anxious energy when she has nothing to do. Quietly relaxing isn't really something that appeals to her, so she spends almost all of her free time split between passtimes. Since she was in elementary school she's played hockey and softball, done track and field, practiced judo and aikido, and fiddled with the machines in her dad's garage. More than a dozen other hobbies have come and gone, but those few mentioned above remained constant. She's a no-nonsense sort of person that doesn't like it when people beat around the bush or jerk her around. She trucks along at her own pace, usually pretty content with things.

Powers and Abilities:
Frictional Alteration ~ Aida can alter the frictional forces exerted between two surfaces. She can both increase and decrease the friction present there. She can use this to skate around on concrete as though it were an ice rink, increase or decrease the static friction between a villain's feet and the ground to stick them in place or make them slip and slide, increase the air resistance surrounding a bullet to slow it down, climb up a perfectly smooth vertical surface with ease by increasing the static friction between her hands and feet and the wall, decrease the friction between a screw or bolt and its housing so that it comes loose at the slightest touch, etc. The possibilities are numerous, and a creative mind can eke a lot of use out of her power.

Mundane Talents ~ Aida has a number of skills that, while 'normal', might prove useful to a crime fighter. She has a solid understanding of mechanics, and can drive and repair most common vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles, atvs, motor boats). She has basic survival training. Her cardio and overall fitness are good. She is trained in first aid. She knows how to scuba dive and sky dive.

Weaknesses:
The range of Aida's ability is limited to a 30' radius around her, and she needs to concentrate to maintain large changes in frictional forces.
She has all the vulnerabilities of a regular human.
Other than evasion, she doesn't really have any defence against non-kinetic attacks (I.E. Fire, electricity, lasers, 'beams', etc.)

General Personality: he is goofy, hilarious, tenacious and has a kind heart. He also really loves American cartoons, and has watched nearly every kind, except My Little Pony and the bad cartoons on Cartoon Network. Despite his funny personality, Walt does not like people who pick on others and show little care for people who are hurt. Even though he can whacky at times, Walt still believes that heroes should follow the laws of society and only on special occasions break them. He is firmly against killing his enemies and really dislikes anti heroes and vigilantes who do kill. He is a believer in heroes being examples of the greater good for which people can aspire to.

Sexual Orientation: straight

Powers/Abilities: Cartoon Constructs: This ability allows him to create solid cartoon objects and beings which he can use in many different ways. These constructs can have the physical qualities and abilities of whacky cartoon characters, and they also have personalities like cartoon characters and can speak.

Despite their versatility his constructs do have a limited time for how long they can be maintained and will start to deteriorate, or will shatter if too much force is put against them. Also the bigger his constructs are, the more energy he uses up to make them and keep them strong. The strength of his constructs are determined by how positive his emotional state is, if he is too negative then his powers will weaken.

Weaknesses: any chemicals that can destroy or remove ink can destroy his constructs. also in order to maintain the constructs, Walt has use up more energy to keep his constructs from disappearing, and he will start to feel fatigue if he uses up too much power. Ten minutes is the maximum he can maintain a single construct before he starts to tire out. Another slight weakness is that his constructs can act on their own on occasions and have a few times fought with each other instead of attack his enemies, this is why he doesn't have Tom and Jerry appear together because the last time he did, it was total chaos.

Fighting Style: he uses a made up martial art known as Toon fist where he tries to combine his hand to hand combat with his cartoon constructs to make his fighting much more effective.

Well we aren't starting until this weekend. Also I must not have payed attention, as I thought you were reintroducing Jack when you posted on the interest check. You are more than welcome to bring him back. I had a few questions on the cartoon constructs. Does he draw them? Just so you know we already have a character with a similar ability (Ink). Also just so you know this universe has it's own media and entertainment so the cartoons if the universe are not the same as they would be in real life. Could you explain toon fist a bit more? I personally really liked Jack as a character and think his powers would work better in the universe, maybe you could combine elements of both of these characters?

I enjoyed reading about Aida! Her powers are definitely unique! I was thinking that for now it'd probably be best if she wasn't such a skilled marksmen? There will be gun training throughout the rp so perhaps she could grow to become capable? Also would characters that have super speed/teleportation be able to dodge her friction or at least not be completely victim? These are just some questions I'm wondering, but she'll definitely be a good fit for the team! Welcome to Sanctum!

I would say that to effect something she has to be able to see/focus on it. If a speedster is zipping around or a teleporter is blinking around faster than she can keep track of, she can't just tag them with her power. With a lot of focus and practice (i.e. if she totally masters her power, not the skill level she has right now) she might be able to effect surfaces that she knows are within her range but can't quite see (for example increasing the friction between an engine's cylinders and their pistons to keep a car from running), but this isn't something she can do yet. The best she could do right now is increase the fluid friction of the air within her range to increase parasitic drag around the speedster while they move through her area-of-influence; she couldn't just stick them to the ground with static friction. The teleporter, she can't do much about. Worse still, even if she does manage to get the teleporter with her power, since it changes the forces between two specific surfaces, if they teleport onto a different surface it'd undo her power (i.e. if she stuck them to an asphalt road, and then they teleported onto a concrete sidewalk, it'd unstick them).

Walt's constructs work almost just like green lantern's powers, they just appear and are not made of ink, they are pretty solid. I really want to use Walt because his powers are cool and they work perfectly with his goofy personality.

Hey everyone sorry for any delay, I just got home for break last night. I apologize if anyone's interest has dwindled, I just had a lot of finals to study for and complete. However, I can promise that the wait is worth it. I'd like to begin if everyone is ready, the only thing I am unsure of is whether or not I can delete the old posts?

Let's bring that to the PMs I'm still a little confused on some aspects of him. Also I just asked in the forums how to delete old posts. So are people good to begin?

I don't think deletion is possible. And it might just be easier to start a new thread, and just use this one as reference.
