BlairName: Blair
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Biography:
Blair hails from the Unova Region, Castelia City, growing up in a fairly successful and rich family. His first Pokemon was a Snivy, whom he met on a small lab visit, and was deemed 'unusual' and uncooperative, though he was advised against interacting with it, he did so anyways and the two immediately got along due to how well their interests and attitudes aligned as mischief-makers. He was simply given the Snivy at the end of the day. When Blair was 14, he joined his father on a business trip to Kalos in Lumiose City. That was where he met Empress, the Queen of the Night in Lumiose City. After a bunch of encounters, he finally convinced her that if he and Alain won a battle, she would join him. It was a long and gruelling match, the Umbreon was able to recover from almost any attack, but Alain's rapidly ramping damage meant he was eventually getting through, and he did.
A few years later, Blair began a short journey around Hoenn, it was also the season for Pokemon Contests as well, so he was there to watch those, along with some gym badges on the way. On his trip through, starting in Lilycove, he earned the Dynamo Badge in Mauville, moving down to Slateport, and then earning the Dynamo Badge in Dewford, before going all the way up to Rustboro for an errand, where he earned himself the Stone Badge. On his way home he ran into a Scyther in the Petalburg woods, which was pretty much unheard of. This was a rare opportunity that he jumped at, though after a defeat at the Scyther's hands, he returned again the next day. It was here that his Snivy would turn into a Servine, and manage to completely overpower the Scyther despite type advantages, and like that he was caught fair and square.
Upon returning home, Blair received a letter from the Gym Leader University in Orre, addressed to him. It offered him a spot there, and contained within was a referral from Roxanne, the Gym leader in Rustboro.
"Never have I met a Trainer with such shrewd strategies, I wasn't really surprised to find that he had already conquered two gyms before my own. I received a letter from the Gym Leader University in Orre, but unfortunately I cannot undertake that trip due to my duties here in Rustboro. I hope this trainer, Blair, may be able to make use of this opportunity". Well honestly, he'd always known Orre to be a bit of an exotic region, so this would be an interesting trip.
Personality: Blair's Personality mirrors that of his Servine, the two enjoy the misery of others, to an extent. As the two have grown older though, that has reduced a fair bit, and slowly turning into wisdom. Blair is despite his mannerisms, a nice person, he seems to baby his Kirlia a little bit, and respects his Umbreon's dislike for Pokeballs. On the other hand he is known to be a little greedy sometimes, material possessions also hold stock to him. Above all is his strategies during a battle, tend to be about absolutes. Empress is his absolute defense, Alain is an absolute offense, while Edgar boasts incredible speed.
Notable Possessions:
- Tie Clip: It has a Key Stone embedded in it. This was a birthday present from his father before he left for Orre.

Other:
Pokemon Team.
Pokemon Species: Umbreon
Nickname: Empress
Ability: Synchronize
Personality: She isn't named Empress for nothing. She has an air of regality and does what she wants, though it appears she only willingly cooperates with Blair. She is never seen in her Pokeball except if she is defeated.
Signature Move: Moonlight - Empress' Moonlight has been praised as more beautiful and vibrant than other Umbreon's. It heals her more than usual, and even increases her Special Defense while she uses it.
Other: Empress possesses incredibly resilience to pretty much any kind of assault, thought doesn't boast for much in damage, makes up for it with moves such as Night Shade. Coupled with her more powerful Moonlight, don't expect to see her faint when she enters the battle.
Pokemon Species: Servine
Nickname: Alain
Ability: Contrary
Personality: Alain like his trainer is a little on the snarky side, suitable for a Pokemon who always looks so smug. Both are ruthless in battle and strategy, but they also never forget to have fun in the midst of all that, even if it's at the expense of other's fun sometimes.
Signature Move: Leaf Storm - Alain learned Leaf Storm sooner than most of it's line. His ability to use it without restraint means he is far more accurate and faster with it than most other Pokemon who can use this move.
Other: Alain has an impressive balance of endurance and speed, choosing to rely on Leaf Storm and Contrary in combination for high damage output instead. Since Leaf Storm increases Special Attack as a whole thanks to Contrary, the use of Leaf Tornado and Mega Drain is also common.
Pokemon Species: Scyther
Nickname: Edgar
Ability: Technician
Personality: Edgar serves his master like a samurai would to a lord. It seems to be a common way Scyther act, though what makes him different is his wanderer attitude, he has great confidence in his own skills, thus allowing him to create his own strategies, and this is what makes him Blair's wild card.
Signature Move: Agile Fury Cutter - An incredibly deadly multi-hit Fury Cutter combined with Agility to make it possible. Edgar can 'assassinate' opponents fairly easily with this move due to the ramping power of Fury Cutter, and Technician making the early strikes more powerful. This is a combination Blair was confident Edgar could pull off thanks to it's amazing speed. It is not uncommon for his opponents to completely lose sight of Edgar, only to be struck multiple times before they can react.
Other: Edgar boasts incredible speed and power, coupled with Technician, pretty much every strike can be a killing blow, with exception to False Swipe. It also appears to be a fairly strong wandering Scyther before capture, meaning it's battle experience outstrips Blair's, though he cooperates with this to overcome even more obstacles.
