Ooh. Missed this last time around, so I guess jumping on the bandwagon now would be good.
Edit: One CS, albeit a kinda confusing one (I think).
Username: Cheshire
Character nickname: Bass
Gender: Male, technically, though Cheshire still identifies as female, since that's what she was before entering the multiverse.
Appearance: Personality: The personality of Bass is strong, certainly. Stronger than the person who is currently inhabiting his body, that's for sure. So, why he doesn't step forward and take charge us something of a mystery. Perhaps he's just biding his time. Perhaps he enjoys the gradual degradation he causes. But for now, at least, Cheshire is in the driving seat. She's bubbly, recklessly and continuously happy (even if it's just a facade), and tends to think out loud - as well as forgetting that other people can't hear her thoughts, meaning that she tends to jump around in conversations somewhat. Indeed, her general way of life is to try to be a nice person as much as is humanly possible. That said, she does have something of a temper, and though she doesn't get angry very often, when she does, she really goes for it. Perhaps stemming from this is a liking for dangerous - and often violent - sports. Though she did use this as a way to let off steam, it's now slowly letting in the personality of the character she's using for her avatar, which, as might be assumed, isn't particularly pleasant.
Alignment: Neutral
Skills: Before entering the Multiverse, Cheshire had no particularly useful skills: somewhat athletic, though not particularly strong, with interests in writing and making. Since entering it, her physical prowess has increased a hundredfold, and the art and english has improved, too - not that Cheshire has really had much cause to look into it.
Powers: Get-Ability Program - The program that led to most of the abilities that Bass owns, it copies and absorbs the powers of other people. It is quite capable of completely absorbing a person, though it is infinitely quicker to just take what's necessary and then stop. Bass has three abilities stemming from the Get-Ability Program. These abilities can't be activated simultaneously, and anything new absorbed by the program blocks access to them until it's ditched.
Lifeaura - Usually in effect whilst Bass is not attacking. It's pretty much impenetrable, but it's so from both sides - whilst other people's attacks will bounce harmlessly off, any attacks Bass fires off inside the barrier would be trapped there, which, needless to say, is not a good thing. It can be overloaded by particularly powerful attacks, too, in which case it won't reform for a while.
Hubstyle - Bass' principle style-change, it lends strength to the user's very limits - even just beyond, at a pinch, but in return, it degrades their personality gradually, until only a violent, aggressive creature remains.
Beast Out (Falzar) - A style-change much like the Hubstyle, though it's much more of a transformation - it comes with wings, talons, and a significant power-up. Unlike the Hubstyle, the power is borrowed from an outside force, and the strength it lends goes far beyond the limits of what Bass could originally do. However, as its price, it causes extreme exhaustion, and even more mental degradation than the Hubstyle.
Energy Manipulation - Many of Bass' basic attacks are based around the manipulation of energy - from the '
Earth Breakers', which are generally the staples of Bass' fighting style, to swords and other such constructs, to the insanely destructive '
Vanishing World', which consists of a large-scale blast fired from an arm-cannon transformed into the head of the Grave Virus Beast, a creature that had been comprised of millions of computer viruses, which he had absorbed.
Flight - Bass can fly in all his forms, whether it's floating, or flight with actual wings.
Regeneration - Given enough time, his body will completely regenerate itself, provided the crest on his chest is still intact.
Equipment: Cloak - It's just a piece of ratty beige material, in most people's hands, but it's the thing that the Lifeaura bases itself on, so it's kind of necessary. Also, it hides the nasty scar bisecting his chest.
