Character Reviews!

@Terminal, I like this character. Religious conflict isn't particularly common, most violence is typically carried out by zealots as opposed to crusaders and organized militaries, but thats only a minor point on the Character sheet. His skills are very well rounded, and even as a non-summoner he has enough skills to keep him on par with others. All round very nice character, a bit darker than I was expecting, but that isnt necessarily a bad thing.

@Squirmy, another character with a slightly darker backstory than I had anticipated, which again, is not a bad thing. I'm not seeing any red flags for this character either.

@Belladonna, the background is a bit less coherent then I would've liked. How did a wandering tinker manage to marry an aristocrat? Why is her father, a tinkerer, dealing with priceless goods and artifacts and traveling instead of working in a workshop? What things did she learn from her father? Also, what exactly can she do with these mechanical skills? Regarding the spirit, it's highly unlikely that a simple spirit would've had the power to start 'Great Fires' throughout cities. What are the details of the pact? Also, melting and molding metals with your spirit's power falls into the field of 'manipulation' which is a Humanoid's power.

@All - I probably should've put this out there a bit earlier, but the general abilities of spirits are split into 3 distinctions:
Simple - basic elemental attacks, and energies
Humanoid - manipulation of elements and complex maneuvers
Gargantuan - Raw elemental power.

I hope you enjoy this took forever and a day to do. And i'm very happy with how Ticktoc came out. By far one of my favorite creations I think
Appearance:
Name: Alexander Pavaine “The Clockman”
Age: 36
Guild Band: The Metal Monkeys.

Archetype: The Tinker

Spirits:

Appearance:
Name: Clockwirk
Age: 455
Backstory: Alexander acquired Clockwirk when he was first leaving the Western-City States. The pact was simple. In exchange for getting to see the world Clockwirk would help Alexander to become of the worlds most renowned tinkers. Clockwirk has been Alexander’s constant companion since he left the City-States originally.

Skills and Abilities: Clockwirk grants Alexander the ability to see through inorganic matter and to determine its components, flaws and structure. Which is why Alexander is so excellent at finding weak spots in armor and flaws in technology. Clockwirk itself is capable of melding with machinery and influencing simple mechanisms. While Clockwirk can’t directly control machines it can cause gears to grind, bolts to snap, and other small inconveniences. Clockwirk is also a relatively intelligent if single minded spirit

Appearance:
Name: Ticktoc
Age: 830
Backstory: Ticktoc’s pact was very straight forward. Alexander had to construct a special timepiece for Ticktoc to inhabit when it is not in a corporeal form. The Clock Master’s Timepiece is the home Alexander created for Ticktoc. And as a side effect. The watch is never wrong. Alexander acquired Ticktoc while at the Wall of Nothing

Skills and Abilities:Ticktoc grants Alexander a constant and perfect sense of time. He can count in perfect intervals as well as always being aware of the time that has past from one interval of time to the next. Ticktoc also makes Alexander’s movements more efficient. Ticktoc itself has very little power other than objects around Ticktoc seem to age at different rates. No more than a couple years difference but when Ticktoc is around food items the effect can be more pronounced as food products more prone to going stale either go bad faster or go bad much slower. Ticktoc doesn’t appear to have an control over this ability except when threatened. In which case Ticktoc is capable of aging objects directed to hurt it into oblivion. Ticktoc curls into it’s shell when threatened and anything attempting to hurt it experiences severe time dilations.

Appearance:
Name: Midnyt
Age: 467

Backstory: Midnyt’s pact was a simple agreement. Alexander would protect Midnyt and in exchange Midnyt would help protect Alexander. Alexander acquired Midnyt in the Kusagi Empire as part of the payment for a set of custom armor for one of the noble families. Midnyt is the only one of Alexander’s spirits capable of speech and she rarely speaks. She is also more insightful than Clockwirk however arguably less intelligent than the Raven.

Skills and Abilities: Midnyt grants Alexander the ability to see in perfect darkness as well as the ability to see heat sources through objects up to a hundred yards away or so. Midnyt itself is a combatant and fights much like a raptor same she appears in the form of an owl. Midnyt is incredibly fast and while she is about one and a half times the size of a normal owl she is incredibly agile and durable. While not the ultimate predator against human’s Midnyt is an excellent scout and capable of flying harassment missions for Alexander. Midnyt despises being out in the day and prefers dusk, dawn and night when her vision is perfect.

Never said that they married. As for 'The Great Fires' The Great Chicago Fire started in a barn. Either way, I'm withdrawing. I've got a few other things in the works and don't have time for this one.

This is a little bit of a work in progress, I think it's mostly all there but I haven't really had the chance to edit it cause of finals. My last one is tomorrow though so I'll give it another look after that, just wanted to get it up for review.

Edit: Some formatting problems are going on, so I'll also try to fix those as soon as possible, but I need to go to bed now so I can get up in time for my 8:30 am exam.... Thank you for your patience.

well I was gonna write a 20 something year old female grease monkey but Bella's character was exactly that so I went with something else. And of course the second I post the character Bella opts out...
@vietmyke If you want me to write and post the female character I'd be happy to. obviously I'd have to choose between the two or you guys would. Whatever works. But it will take time to write it so if you want me to. You've been warned lol

Well the original character concept was female. I went back and forth with wind on it because my characters have an irritating way of always being similar so I thought I'd do something different but the reason I said something was because I think I wanted to make her like 21 or something?

I can make Jax younger if need be, I don't mind.

It might work better with the character, anyway - then he could of become like.. Terminal's apprentice, or something like that. :P

Okay, I broke down and wrote the second character since I had like six hours of basically nothing to do. It should be up within the next 3-4 hours simply because I'm still playing with some of the spirits on it as well as being unable to add images on the computer I used to write it. it's looking like it will probably be shorter than Alexander but arguably I had 16 more years of history to play with as opposed to this character who is 20

Got something for ya: A solo spirit. Anyone interested in trying to make a pact with him can try to find him once the IC is up.
Appearance:

His "true" appearance is more akin to a black gaseous shadow with no real discernible features. The image above is merely something he may wear rather than what his true appearance would be.
Name: The Harvester (Harvey to his friends).
Age: 500 years, give or take. He doesn't keep track.

Backstory: The spirit known as The Harvester did not truly get his name until much later into his life, by his first master. His existence began in a cold and desolate place in the Varisie Empire. Specifically, in one of their graveyards. He simply found himself, a mostly fleshless entity, amongst the respected dead of the north. The Spirit was not sure what he was doing there, only that it felt drawn to the dead. Their emptiness made him want to fill the void with his essence, his very being. But he was not a spirit of death, but a spirit of life. He wanted to bring life to these corpses, but fought the urge. He did not know what he was doing here, so he set out to discover what he was.

Initially, the spirit was nothing more than a vaguely humanoid black wisp. He lacked the flesh and blood most humans have, and indeed, what most spirits had. He had the essence of life but not the body. He would not disturb the dead however. He didn't know why, but he simply felt that he should not. He rationed that it would be too difficult, but he also thought it wouldn't be right to defile their graves. Of course, that sense of honor didn't stop him from killing the first person he saw and possessing his corpse. At the time he thought nothing of it; that person had a life, so he would simply take his body. He was unaware of how humans lived and died, and he wouldn't learn until much later after much catastrophe.

In the mean time, the spirit took possession of the new body and borrowed it's identity. The first order of business: Figuring out what it was. So the spirit took it's body into the human lands. The spirit went into the human lands and began to ask questions; to know what spirits are, and where he was, and who he is. For the longest time many humans would ignore him. "Strange" they would call him. "Insane" even. He knew these words but didn't think they applied to him. He was wanted to learn, is all. It wasn't until the spirit was confronted by this strange man who the spirit recognized as a religious leader of some sort. Priests, they call them. He offered to take the spirit in and give him shelter. The spirit also asked for knowledge, which the priest was kind enough to oblige.

The priest taught the spirit of what spirits were; how they embodied natural elements and grant powers to humans. But he also preached the dangers of spirits and how they must be controlled, and generally made things very unpleasant for the spirit listening. He made his excuses and left the chapel as soon as he could. Once he was gone, the spirit started to wonder what it would do with itself now. It was a spirit with some sort of magical power. He knew he could control life, but what did that mean? How does one go about doing that? He had no teachers, and instincts failed to teach him. So he would go and learn. The spirit began to practice, honing his powers and trying to understand it... For a couple of days. Than he got bored.

What followed would be the relatively mundane life of the spirit. As a spirit he had no need to eat, but his body did. So he had to get food. But to get food, he had to give things to people. Money, they call it. And to get money he would need to work. So the spirit went to look for work. He had many jobs; sometimes he cooked food, other times he made shirts. Once he was told to kill people and given money for that. When he was told to do these things, he did them fairly well, after a couple years of practice. He learned how to make delicious food, or how to weaver pretty embroidery, or kill a man with whatever was on hand, and even began to fight against other spirits. That was when he first got his name.

He wasn't sure how they figured out he was a spirit. Maybe they just thought he was too strange. Either way, some people from a holy place killed his body, but sealed his essence. They told him that he had to work for them, or they would kill him. He didn't know if they could, but he didn't know a lot about himself. He did as he was told and worked for an "Inquisitor" by the name of Cypress. Cypress was a stern, but secretly kind man. He would always yell and punish the spirit when he didn't do something, but he also gave the spirit a name and purpose. He became The Harvester, he who reaps the bounty of life. He was the one who taught the spirit, not The Harvester, who he was and what he could do.

Cypress did not just summon The Harvester when it was time to fight. Cypress, being a kind man, wanted to know more about The Harvester. What he knew, what he could do, what he could learn. He helped The Harvester control his power of "life". At first it was just possessing things; boxes, jars, the occasional door. But than began to discover more applications. The Harvester could make things move even when they are normally motionless; he could life things without touching them. Again, it started with just boxes, jars, and doors, move them around, throwing them, opening them. But than they started to try more complicated things. Machines. Bodies. And small things, like people's shoes. Or bullets. While they're flying through the air. Cypress made The Harvester learn how to use his powers, discovering more of what he could do ever year. The Harvester learned how to see the life in everything, so he could tell when someone or something was dead so he could possess it, or simply just finding people in general. He could tell the difference between spirits and people as well, and at some point was able to tell even individual people and spirits apart. The ability Cypress liked the most however was how The Harvester could share his life with Cypress.

Cypress spent forty years training The Harvester when they weren't out on missions. Cypress was considered one of the best Inquisitors, but he was also human. He grew old, weak, and he would start dying. The Harvester didn't like that. He was a Spirit of Life; he wanted to make sure that his friend would live. So that's what the Harvester did. For befriending him, The Harvester used his power to link his life with Cypress. So long as The Harvester lived, so would Cypress. But it was too late for him; Cypress was an old man. Though he was thankful for The Harvester's attempt to extend his life, Cypress wanted to pass on. He had lived and fought well for his homeland, and wished to die for it as well. So even after The Harvester tried to extend his life, Cypress chose death. This confused The Harvester, but he allowed it. It was the least he could do.

After Cypress's death The Harvester did not stay in the Varisie Empire forever. He left when Cypress died. The Harvester, who started calling himself Harvey, traveled around Lucenrai. For some parts of his life he'd get a new master, but they were never as nice as Cypress. Many of them were quite mean, making Harvey do things he didn't want to do or generally treated him badly. So most of the time Harvey just did what he wanted to do, which was just about anything really. Sometimes he liked fighting, so he would possess a body of a strong person and learn how to fight. Sometimes he wanted to fly airships, so he possess a body and learns how to operate aircraft. Other times he would want to build something, so he possess a body and builds things. Cypress doesn't really work with summoners anymore, and even if he did, he'll only do so if they could help him discover a new way to use his power. Most people don't know how to do that, so he doesn't really work with them.

In his most recent five years of his life, Harvey has taken up cooking again. He likes how food taste even though he now has a body that doesn't require food (It's a huge robot) and he seeks to master the art of cooking, as well as pick up any other adventures along the way.

Skills:

Lots of jobs - Harvey is not an idle spirit. He has learned and is well practiced in many occupations, from tax accounting to heart surgery. Of course most of these jobs he hasn't done in a while, so he's rather rusty. Still, there's little to nothing that he hasn't done before in his vast amount of time alive. Even if it's not specifically stated, there's a good chance that Harvey has had worked in any specific field, or at least has done work in something similar long enough that he can allow muscle memory (Or what would amount to muscle memory for him) to take over. Jobs that he's especially skilled at: Cooking, Textiles, Physician, Operating Machines, and Construction..

Sharp Senses with Equal Reflex - Harvey has trained to hone his senses to a fine point, and has the required secondary training to utilize his increased senses to a reactionary level. Even though he sometimes lacks the organs for it, he has keen eyes and could hear the farts of a fly a mile away an hour before it happens (figuratively speaking), but he also has trained his senses to be able to tone that back if it proves to be more of a hassle, such as blinding himself so he won't be effected by blinding light or numbing his body's reaction to pain.

Called Shots - Harvey has a good eye for picking out weakness in a person or structure. Even if he's using a weapon like a knife or a steam rifle, Harvey can often hit where it matter's most. He has too, since he isn't really good at any weapon in particular to afford to waste time trying to poke holes into a persons' defense.

Adapted Traits - A skill more reliant on the body he inhabits; on his own this skill doesn't really matter, but when Harvey possess an object or body, he can quickly get a feel of how they would move and act at a subconscious level. This mainly helps him figure out how to best utilize the body's strengths and what it's particular weaknesses are so he doesn't struggle too long when he has to go from possessing a humanoid body to that of a cat or a bird..

Abilities:

Incorporeal - Though he is a Spirit of Life, Harvey does not possess his own Physical body. Instead he appears to be a black wisp in the vague shape of a human. While this makes him immune to any physical harm, unless he posses an object he cannot affect the physical world in any meaningful way aside from his voice and what he could see. Magic can still affect him however, possibly even kill him. He wouldn't know, he doesn't try to get himself killed often enough to know what would do the job.

The Power of Life - The Harvester is a Spirit of Life, though a fairly young one who still doesn't know his full capability. His magic powers mostly revolve around "life" in it's various shapes and form, and one of the main ways to gain a pact with him is helping him discover a new way to use his magic in a way he couldn't before. Those who enter a pact with him gains the service of his power as well as his "Life Link" ability, which means that he shares his life with his Summoner; so long as he lives and remains bound, so does his summoner. Other abilities that Harvey knows now includes:

Possession: The first and most basic of Harvey's ability, which he essentially puts his own life into an object that does not have life in it. This allows him to take on a physical form which he can manipulate by making it float and move on it's own, such as making it spin. He cannot possess "Living" objects like people, at least not until he kills them. When he possess a corpse he puts his "Life" into it, essentially turn the corpse living again using his own life energy. He can even possess and bring life to rotting corpses, in which they will slowly begin to mend what remains of their body together so long as Harvey stays in their body. If they take enough damage however (Like a normally lethal amount such as decapitation), it would force Harvey to leave the body. A similar concept applies to other objects as well, though some are much more durable than others.

Telekinesis: The second power that Harvey discovered how to use. It's something akin to a remote possession, except that he can use it on other living creatures, though they could fight off the power if they are strong enough. Basically he puts his life energy into an object even if he's not making contact with it and moves it much the same why he would if he was possessing it. He has to keep track of what he's possessing and what they're doing, though he usually has a focus enough mind to telekinetically control multiple objects at once. Small objects are much easier for him to control than larger ones as they require less of his life energy to move around, including things like bullets even when they're flying in the air. If he doesn't use his keen reflects to pluck them out of the air, he can erect a sort of "barrier" where he focuses on an area where he expects something to come through. Any if anything does, he can try to control it using his Telekinesis. He can make anything that is successfully control by his telekinesis go as fast as he wants it to go.

Detect Life: The third ability that Harvey learned from his first master Cypress. It allows him to see the life in others, so he can figure out where they are and what he can possess and control telekinetically. Only effective within the first 100 yards of visual range, however he can detect life through obstacles like walls and such. He can also "Mark" things he see's with Detect Life active, even things without life, which allows him to unique identify people or objects to separate them from other things he would see. He can put on and remove as many Marks as he feels like keeping up with.

Life Link: The most important ability that Harvey offers with a pact. His forth ability allows Harvey to link his life to whomever he is in a pact with, sustaining them so long as he lives. It does not heal them so much as it does prevent the loss of their life, so if someone get's decapitated while he has a Life Link with them, they would live as a severed head until Harvey removes the link, though hopefully not before they figure out a way to put the severed head back onto the body. Harvey can remove the Life Link freely, however he can only link to one life at a time, and anything that causes him to lose his pact with his summoner also makes them lose their life link. Additionally, though Harvey isn't aware of it, should he die while he has a Life Link with someone, that person would also die with him.

Summoner Powers: Those with the fortune to create a pact with Harvey gains his Life Link, itself a rather powerful ability on it's own. Additionally they can use his Telekinesis, which he can help strengthen or manage at his summoner's digression. He can also possess his summoner's body without having to kill them, in order to move them if for some reason they can't, like if they're asleep, paralyzed, or being moved by an outside force.. It should be warned (Not that Harvey always remembers to do it) that he can instantly possess his own summoner if they don't have specific ways to counteract him. His Summoner also can see any of his Marks, but only if Harvey points the Marks out to his Summoner.

Equipment: For the given amount of "Equipment", Harvey's current body is a robotic chassis from the Varisie Empire. Though large and bulky, this robot is actually a waste-disposal machine, and lacks any specialized weaponry aside from it's hydraulic fists. But given that it's a eight feet tall steel golem, it's only weapons are rather effective weapons. It can shoot out it's hands a fair distance and retract them back due to a steel wire. Harvey calls it the "Rocket Punch", despite the fact that it is not rocket powered. He also carries around a Scythe, partly to play up his motif as "The Harvester" but mostly because it was a gift from Cypress. It was his main weapon when he worked with him, and Harvey would use the scythe for combat if he isn't possessing anyone. The Scythe itself is ornate but non-magical. He keeps the scythe as well as his clothing (what you see in the image above) within the body of the robot.

Okay, finally I came up with a character myself. Unfortunately after much consideration I decided it's going to be a human and not a spirit, so I'm sorry for all the time Fallen and others have spent brainstorming about how to fit a spirit in. Still, I'm open for the idea of exchanging spirits with someone if they're up for it and if the GM allows (as in, I play someone else's spirit and they play mine), or building pre-existing relationships with other characters. For now I'm posting my human character and a spirit but I don't insist they go together and am open for other suggestions. Also tell me if the spirit is too OP.

Name: Cassandra (Cas) Riot
Age: 22
Guild Band: Serpentines
Archtype: Bow and Blade Ranger

Backstory: Cas grew up in the village of Salviea in the Aest Wetlands having to ward off monsters while hunting to provide food for herself and the rest of the rest of the village. Not having any parents to guide her in life, she had to learn what she could about human relations from the community. They were nice to her and her skills in hunting and magic made her usefil and well-liked, but she never truly felt like she belonged. That's why it was easy for her to cut ties with the people of Salciea and relocate to Melanhart at the age of 13.

There Cas really settled in, adopting the city-life with real vigour and passion. She became a dancer and started paying more and more attention to her looks, ultimately turning her into what appears to be a very vain and shallow person. Cas didn't seem to mind, openly displaying her taste in the finer things in life and distaste for the more feral lifestyle she grew up with – to the point where most people don't even suspect that's what her childhood was like. Yet the wild still calls to her sometimes. The itch to hunt and put her learnt skills to a test lead her to the Adventurer's guild where she goes even now for the occasional adventure.

Skills and Abilities:

Great aim – having lived most of her life in the wetlands, she is a very good marksman and can handle any ranged weapon she comes across with ease. Since she moved to Melanhart she has been practising with firearms but still prefers bows and arrows for more challenging and risky missions where stealth matters.
Dagger skills – in case ranged attacks don't work, Cas resorts to her trusted dagger. She'd not incredibly good at wielding it in combat but can ward off an initial attack or two. When it comes to offence, Cas can achieve good results if her opponent is unaware of her presence. In the day-to-day life she uses the same dagger in a variety of settings ranging from skinning game to carving wood.
Good agility – Cas is used to moving fast through thick undergrowth and her hobby of dancing has only furthered her agility.
Tactical thinking – when put in difficult situations Cas carefully considers all possible ways of acting before choosing the best one.
Stealth – being of a small frame Cas is very light on her feet and can usually go unnoticed when she wants to.

Equipment: While in the city, Cas rarely carries more than her trusted dagger. When out in the wilderness or on a mission, she further equips herself with a bow, a pistol and a rifle. Additionally, if she expects to camp in the open, she puts a variety of useful items in her bag like flint, rope, horse-hair and a small axe.
When it comes to armour Cas travels light, usually in a pair of trousers, high boots and a vest made of thick leather over a simple and light shirt.

Spirits:
Name: The Magician Kastela (on the left)
Age: 300

Skills and Abilities:
Kastela is an enchanter, a thief among spirits,. His power lies in the ability to steal a property from a physical item and bestow it upon another object. What's more concerning is that he can use this ability to steal other spirits' skills and adopt them for a few minutes at a time. As such he is considered to be both a desired friend and a formidable foe. What he presents to Cas is the ability to bestow objects with properties that are unnatural to them, like making wood as tough as rock or water as dense as mud. Those properties can be stored in the arrows Kastela can create for Cas and affect another item upon contact.

Pact: In return for his services Kastela asks that Cas never makes a pact with any other spirit and never marries or has children.

Appearance:
Name: McKenzie Fairweather
Age: 20
Guild Band: Metal Monkey/Red Hawk (McKenzie will forever be a Red Hawk mechanic but her studies with Alexander have led to her spending a lot of time working with the Metal Monkey band)

Archtype: Grease Monkey Sweetheart

Backstory: McKenzie is one of the guilds rising stars within the mechanic community. McKenzie was born and raised in Meduzart by her father who was a mid grade mechanic for the Red Hawk band working on airships and their planes. McKenzie spent most of her childhood around the members of the guild and the airships and planes she now works on.

Henry Fairweather, McKenzie’s father, is actually McKenzie’s adopted father as she was abandoned by her parents almost immediately after her birth. Henry was in his late forties at the time and saved MAcKenzie's life by taking her in. Ever since the two of them have been inseparable. Of late Henry has started to take on less and less work with the guild has he is well into his sixties.

While Henry is at best a mediocre mechanic McKenzie has natural talent when it comes to maintaining airships, planes, trains and just about anything with an engine in it. When she was young, since Henry could not afford to hire someone to watch her and has remained a long time widower, Henry had McKenzie by his side constantly while he was working. As a result of this McKenzie was working on the guilds vehicles by the time she was eight and continued to do so throughout her childhood and teenage years.

Initially the members of the Red Hawk band were skeptical of McKenzie’s presence in the workshops and mechanic shops of the guild. As she grew; however many of the pilots and mechanics took to her like their own daughter. Much of McKenzie’s education came at the hands of the pilots and mechanics of the Red Hawk band who took to training her. As the Red Hawk band’s members were some of the finest mechanics and pilots in Aesteria McKenzie's training has been some of the best possible. While McKenzie is naturally talented, far surpassing her father’s talents, McKenzie’s training with the Red Hawk’s has begun to make her shine as a mechanic and pilot.

Realizing his daughter’s talents, when McKenzie turned twelve, Henry began to actively seek members of other guild bands to teach her other skills. While McKenzie is not a physically imposing individual Henry found a middle aged Errant Knight by the name of Rorick Ironheart to teach her fencing, shooting and combat tactics. While McKenzie was decent at all of the things Rorick taught her, she excelled at gymnastics and free running. When McKenzie is not working on the Red Hawk’s vehicles she can often be found climbing the buildings and roof tops of Meduzart. Henry is not thrilled by his daughter’s tendency for this sort of behavior but he is happy that she has grown to be so much more than he could ever hope to have been.

After her training with Rorick ended at the age of sixteen Henry found her another tutor who has recently returned to Meduzart after a long time absent from the guild. One of the legendary Pavaine brothers, Alexander Pavaine. After hounding the Clockman for months to take on his daughter as a student Alexander finally agreed. Since then McKenzie has studied the intricacies of constructing a variety of things from guns, to the various inventions Alexander regularly builds for the patrons of the Metal Monkey guild.

While McKenzie spends an inordinate amount of time in Alexander’s workshop she is constantly finding excuses to miss their study time in order to work on the Red Hawk’s vehicles or go exploring in Meduzart. McKenzie has also unbenounced to Alexander or her father begun to focus her free time on the intricacies of flying. While up until recently McKenzie had been a certified pilot she has since focused her efforts on learning to be an Ace. To this end she has pestered the many pilots of the Red Hawk guild to teach her. Many of whom have agreed to teach her intermittently. Since the start of the war with the Varisie Empire McKenzie has had fewer opportunities to practice her flying skills with experienced pilots but the she has steered her lessons towards combat flying in the hopes that she might one day be able to run combat missions for the Red Hawk Band.

While Henry has done his best to keep his daughter off the frontline of the war McKenzie has been chomping at the bit to join the fight. Henry has since been successful but it is only a matter of time before McKenzie finds a way to get into the fight.

Skills and Abilities:
Mechanic- McKenzie is a naturally intuitive mechanic. If it breaks she can probably fix it. If it flies, runs or moves. She’s probably worked on it at some point. Additionally Mckenzie can assemble and disassemble all of the Red Hawk Bands vehicles in record time as she has been working on them her entire life. McKenzie is also become very good at building custom modifications for vehicles since beginning her studies under Alexander.

Fencer- McKenzie is quite good with the supple sharp double edged fencing blades that Rorick taught her with. While she is not the best in the world or nearly as strong or fast as the guilds master swordsman she is quite capable of holding her own in a fight.

Gunslinger- Alexander disapproves of McKenzie’s style of shooting which he refers to as “juvenile”. While Alexander would approve far more of her if she was any good at marksmanship. McKenzie is a great shot with the six shooter steam revolvers many of the pilots prefer to use.

”Your shooting is so...Juvenile….Fire as many bullets as you can and hope that you hit something. You would be better served by taking your time, Girl” -Alexander Pavaine commenting on McKenzies shooting

Gymnast/Freerunner- McKenzie is quite flexible and agile, her slight stature allows her to get into places the other airship mechanics simply can’t. Many of the Red Hawk mechanics that work on airships refer to her as the “Gorgeous Grease Monkey” because of her ability to climb and get to places they normally wouldn’t be able to when working on the guilds airships. Additionally McKenzie is a fantastic free climber and is often seen running the skyline in Meduzart for enjoyment when she is not studying with Alexander or working with the Red Hawk mechanics and pilots.

Equipment:

Pilot’s Six Shooter- McKenzie sports a modified six shooter which has been modified to be more conducive for wearing while flying. While it is smaller than the average six shooter it features a break barrel design which allows for fast reloading. The caliber is high enough to punch through light armor at close range but anything heavier will protect the wearer from McKenzie’s six shooter.

Collapsible blade- A gift from Alexander on her twentieth birthday. The sword features a collapsible design which makes it easier for McKenzie to wear while she is climbing or flying while being light and sharp enough for her to make use of it in combat quite effectively. The Sword is designed specifically for one handed use and efficiency of space, so it lacks additional space on the hilt to be gripped by a second hand.

Mechanics tool kit- Another gift from Alexander, a tool kit similar to his Tinker's toolkit. The bag is designed to be wrapped around Mckenzies waist and features a collection of custom tools for working on vehicles as well as some more general tools for work on a variety of mechanical items. All of which collapse down to about a third of their normal size so as not to hinder McKenzie's freedom of movement.
Not quite the same amount of writing as Alexander although in my defense she is about 16 years younger so she has less history. She also has no spirits.
