Also a bit frustrated at how Counterstrike is a competitive game due to how noob unfriendly it is and how its basically a relic of the 90s.

No power level Ki for flying is still the same.

The system that governs Ki in this roleplay is the main reason. As time goes on our power levels are going to increase anyways so 250 for flying is a small thing. Its no big deal if you don't start out with flying because your Ki will raise so you can do it. You can easily alot Ki into flying so you can have the ability to start with, just a matter of what you wish to do at the start. From what I understand the system is just to keep things flowing smoothly and keep it fair between all characters. Technically speaking though it was never defined in the show how much Ki it really did take to have the levitation ability, so for anyone knows it very well could take a higher amount of Ki to do so but the system does not follow the show itself.

This is supposedly based more on Dragonball than DBZ, and it was kind of a big deal when someone could fly in that (bukujutsu wasn't even introduced until Tenshinhan showed up, and Goku and Krillin didn't even learn it until the very last arc of DB), so I assume that is part of the reason why it's not so readily available here.

Also I am really, really sorry I haven't posted yet. ^^; Been really busy and whenever I get the chance to sit down and post always seems to be when the site doesn't want to work. Sorry. ^^;

For once it seems to be really working today ahaha. Quickly before its too late lol

To keep things moving smoothly I will be starting the fights within the next few days. I'll be out of town this weekend so before I go I shall get the first round of matches started. Preferably after Rin posts, but if time doesn't permit that then we can still move forward. Not to say that she'll be removed from the tourney, just that it will get started. I'm sorry Patriarch but I don't have the time to review your sheet right now but I shall give it a look later tonight.

Well, given that a lot of his attacks are lifted from freaking Darkseid, the rather generic personality, and wangsty backstory...

Also: Power Level 500. Hunting down being strong enough to destroy a planet. Something seems a bit off here.

Also you completely made up a race of aliens rather than going with anything Dragonball or Dragonball Z related at all, but frankly that seems like the least worrying part of all that considering the other stuff.

I find myself agreeing on this points, honestly I had to go read your bio when I saw these responses. The good thing about DBZ is there are tons of races out there, some of which are probably unknown for sure. I don't think having your own made up species is a bad thing, in fact if you play it out well enough adding on to the DBZ lore is a good thing in my mind. I wanted to do this with Zabura and the Demon race because this particular race was never really delved into in the show, and was a small time filler at best. Although I feel some things were conflicting in this case. For one your power level, I know that there is a set level at which you must be, but being who your character is, I think their power level is a bit too low to coincide with the background story. My character has started out with the same power level, but is also King of the Demon realm, to counter act the change in his power level (cuz lets face it a Demon king with a max power level of 500 is BS) so I made it so that his power depends on dark energy, energy which is not very common on earth so his power is dramatically cut down. However if he were to return to the Demon realm his power would be very much dangerously high. If your race was the most powerful race or almost the most powerful in the galaxy and your character was the pinnacle of this power then that would mean the rest were weaker then you were, and given the various races in the galaxy including Saiyans, Frieza's race, even the Demon race a.k.a Badura, this would stand to say that they were not. Don't get me wrong I am not nit picking or trying to disprove your character or their story or even be mean, but I feel like it could be a bit better when it comes to the execution. Otherwise it just seems like he is a big brute with not much personality to him. Anyways its not my decision and I am sure iv rambled on long enough.

Type up your post in Notepad and copy/paste it into the topic whenever the forums allow you to. Thats what I do.

And I agree with Obito about your char there patriarch. gotta be careful on whatever backstory you use. Thats probably why the Xenoverse races are so easy to make backstories for, they're pretty open ended on where they start.
