This isn't to say that I wouldn't join right back in, but just...that's a lot of work we would throw away.

Hey, we're in the same boat. We could start off with our characters' beginning arcs entwined just to help carve ourselves out a good foothold without intruding on preset plots, if you want!

Or we could just make a "Part 2"? We could finish up the current story-arcs, maybe a time jump, and start a new thread. We would still have the established characters, but we would also give others a good jumping on point for new characters.

Agreed. Nut nothing would really be thrown away. All of our posts have been saved and we can pretty much pick back up where we left off, if we chose, eliminating some of the stuff from people who are no longer here, more or less it'd be a soft reboot. And believe me, this is the last thing I want. That's why I'm sitting back a bit and seeing what happens with this site.

That sounds interesting and very resourceful. What type of faction were you looking toward? Hero or villain?

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'm holding back a bit until the guild sorts itself out more (it doesn't help that it seems to go down every time I try to post something OC). The only reason that I'm thinking of doing a sort of restart (granted, it would essentially start the same way because we have everything if we want to use it) is because a new game on a new site with so much pre-established stuff is a hard sell.

Villain with a little less of a homicidal lean, though that will probably change at some point.

Should we start placing our character sheets in the character tab? Obviously we have to wait for NMS to place a "First Post" as a table of contents. But as of now, we cannot edit our old posts, so we can keep the updated roster in the character tab.

Yeah, that's something we can do. The site's been down everytime I've tried to get on the last few days, so this is a welcome surprise. I'll take a look at the new tb tomorrow. I have the next couple of days off, so I'll start do that and maybe even get a post up tomorrow.

I'll probably will continue to do my "banner/character names" header for my posts, even though I have not figured out how to make things centered with Markdown. Talking about the banners, since the background color seems to have changed, some of the banners no longer look transparent (particularly Raptor's, Iron Knight's, and Liger's). Arachne's was spared because it has a red background. :D

We could be rivals in-costume and classmates who have no idea that their best friend is their arch nemesis, if you want to make a character who would be able to blend in like that. The character I'm thinking of would be around 17, maybe a junior or senior in highschool (who destroys parts of the city in her spare time :p ). If not, we can still be rivals who happen to have something linking them--maybe your character suspects mine of a nefarious plot that you feel you have to stop, etc. Since our first volley of posts is going to be our in-universe debut though, maybe our characters got their powers in the same incident and went in different directions morally.
