If it really is so bothersome and enough people really lack the patience I can come up with something meaningless and irrelevant to the plot for the non-tourney characters to do. In fact that is so easy anyone can literally come up with an idea. As for something meaningful for them to do it isn't so simple to "come up with" an idea for. I'm open to suggestions but I'm getting tired of pointless complaints. Refer to the rules in the OP. If anyone has any ideas for something fulfilling for non-tourney characters then by all means don't keep it to yourself. But if you want to just complain about a lack thereof then by all means do keep it to yourself.

I can't. Previous posts have already committed Kouta to helping Zabura steal the balls. A decision I'm starting to regret because this tourney doesn't seem to have any end in sight at the rate it's currently going, but I've committed to that plan and it's kind of too late to take it back now. Of course, I wouldn't expect anyone else to have paid any attention to those posts. After all, it's not part of the tourney, which is where all the relevance was placed thanks to the setup.


Well there ya go. You can try that, but the GM plot device guy beats you to it, and you take a smart scam on getting the other audience members involved in finding the missing dragon balls to steal them for yourself.

Considering he's the freaking GM. Yes, yes it is. But that's beside the point. Just... call me when the tourney is over or something. My character has zero interest in watching it anyway. Clearly no one else is gonna give a damn, so I fail to see why I should. *shrug*

I'm just sad that I'm giving you lots of plot threads to go along that gives you guys something to do that ties you into the topic and arc as a whole that gives you the 'shadow path' in the RP you might like, but your still complaining about nothing happening.

EDIT: I should say you double, the otehrs don't seem to have as big of an issue, though I'm sure they're sorta bored too.

I truly don't have any problems with what has been happening because I understood that when I joined I wouldn't be in the tournament, so I would have to improvise until something big happened. Iv just been trying to calm peeps down cuz all this fighting is unnecessary and unneeded. Iv been waiting for the big plot twist to kick in because obviously Zabura does not really know where the dragon balls are so I didn't think there was any point yet.

Well Obito, maybe double's character can help you with locating the dragon balls. After all, you guys did see them at the start, so its safe to assume they're in a safe somewhre in the back of the building away from the fighters area or something.

I dunno, just trying to settle everyone down and give ya guys your own plot thread thats part of the arc. It makes sense, no?

Honestly, I think it's come full circle at this point and is more hilarious than anything. xD

But, in all seriousness, a little less effort devoted to the debate and more devoted to the IC would be nice right about now so I'mma shut up for awhile.

Well, my fight is the first of round two, and we've already got it ready to post. When either the two day timer runs up on Shady, or he posts, round two will be 1/4th over.

The other two fights are NPC fights so its just me and Dblade that have to get our fight all set, which is moving along. So it wont be too long. And I don't think we'll be having semis as well, d balls get stolen so yeah.

if it's alright with the GM, how about all of characters who are watching the fight go off and fight some minor bad guys, nothing big, just some regular scum bags who are causing trouble in a city or some town. Does that sound like a good solution?

I wouldn't really have a problem with that but I would categorize that as "unfulfilling." It's something to do but won't hold any real plot relevance or provide much of a power boost to those who elect to do that. But if someone wants to do that then I won't stop them.

well no it wouldn't hold any plot relevance, it would be just filler until the main plot moves away from the tournament
