Zedd hopped through the trees swiftly barely making any type of noise. He continued through the haevy trees until he came at a hult when his stomack growled Heavily. He jumped to the top of the tree he was in and scowered the top of the jungle looking for any signs of life that could hopefully be of assistance to him. After awhile he notice smoke and smoke usually means people so he hurried towards the site. As the distance between him and the site shriken he hoped the people at the site were friendly. He stopped on a branch just in front of the camp and examined its inhabitants. A man(Ventus) and a woman(Anna) was all he could fully see. He jumps off the tree and lands in front of the fire. Since he didn't talk much he raised his hand to show he was friendly and sat down opening a sac he carried on his back that was full of fish.

Autumn watched in confusion as the boy disappeared back behind the tree once more. What was he doing? Was he really trying to hide after she had already spotted him? Or had she simply startled him by turning around suddenly and speaking to him? Autumn continued to stand there staring at the tree in bewilderment. After a while the boy seemed to make a decision and step out from behind the tree fully. She immediately noticed how tall he was. Well, he was probably short to some people but to her, at her minuscule four feet and eight inches he was still a good six inches taller than her. She watched as he came closer, taking note of how...expressionless his expression seemed to be. Was he okay? Was he wary of strangers? What was he doing in the forest? Looking for the Wizard as well perhaps? She then wondered his reason for wanting to search the Wizard out. "U-Ummm....A-Are you l-looking for the Wizard as w-well?"

Izumi's head quickly dropped. He was shy around new people. Izumi wasn't really sure who this person was and it gave him a sense of being uncomfortable while she was in his presence. The girl was noticeably smaller than him, but not by an awful lot. Izumi was rather short for a male. He quickly looked up when she mentioned the wizard. "Yes... Yes I am..." His expression brightened a little bit when he learned he wasn't the only one. "Are... A-Are we the only ones?"

As all of the Want to be apprentices are making their way towards the castle some having to stop for various reasons (as seen in their posts) the sky would begin to darken rapidly.. and the sounds of creatures are head all around, including trees crashing down as something big prowls the jungle... they would now be able to find the castle.. but the question is will they reach it in time....

Solomon started at the different sounds permeating from the forest and quickly got up. For some reason, a building was now visible in the distance. He legged it as fast as he could, hoping he could make it in time.

Through the crashing of the trees a creature could be seen... a dangerous mythical creature that is one of the strongest, and hardest to ever try to fight... The Chimera.. (the classic version)

Cas heard the noise. "Oh crap." She said as she started running, hopping over the roots, praying to god that she didn't trip.

Hearing Anna's voice, a smile grace's Ventus' face once again. "Don't mention it. The name's Ventus, but you can call me Ven. What would your name be?" He asks, offering a hand so she could sit up and take in more of the fire's heat.

"My name's Annalyn. Most people call me Anna." She smiled sweetly and took his hand. "I can't believe I fell down the ravine. I swear the tree tripped--" She froze, having suddenly felt like someone's eyes were on her. Then Zedd jumped down from the tree right in front of her and started unloading his bag full of... fish? Alright then. "H-hello there? Uh... A-are you a wizard?" Not the smartest thing to ask someone new and strange, probably, but she still wasn't thinking straight. And she didn't have much time to contemplate the answer as it suddenly went dark and she started hearing creatures howling all around them. She scooted closer to the fire, don't look at the darkness or you'll panic, Anna, don't look, don't look, just focus on the fire and be calm, be calm, don't freak out don't freak out don't freak out! Silhouetted against the dusky sky was a castle, far far in the distance. But most definitely closer, indeed right behind them... She turned slowly, aware of something looking at her. And then she bolted to her feet in a panic as she made eye contact with the Chimera's lion head. "Oh, my gods, oh my gods oh my gods oh my gods..." She'd read stories of the Chimera, what it did to its victims.... "Um, Ven, other person, it might be time to run?"

Britslebane looked around curiously to determine exactly why Cas was running and was rewarded with the answer as he looked back he saw a Chimera. Whoa, he hoped it wasn't one that could breath fire, that would be an enormous pain. He would've liked to take a closer look... but he also didn't want to die. So he quickly ran after Cas, and having quickly analyzed the way she ran as inefficient and likely leading to tripping, he swooped her up and continued running towards what appeared to be the distant outline of a building, hopefully the tower. He hoped she didn't mind being picked up, some girls were weird though so who knows.

The Chimera would look in all of the directions of the apprentices with it's three heads, the snake head seeming to be letting out a poison gas that looks to erode and kill wild life that touches it.. the lion head suddenly breaths fire out burning some of the forest, it seems to be slightly fighting which way it should go and who to kill first, this was the best time to get away, if not you'll have one heck of a time.

Cas let out a small yelp but clutched onto Britsle. She looked back at the Chimera. "T-that thing is real." She mumbled, almost to herself.

"Huh..yeah, you're right about that one! Oh, and sorry about this.." Ventus states before he picks up Anna, now making a run towards the castle. His reasoning behind picking her up would be assuming that she might have been unable to walk from her time falling down into the ravine, so he had decided at that split-second to carry her towards the castle, and do the running for her.

Autumn was about the answer but crashing elsewhere in the jungle made her freeze, eyes wide as she listened. She turned and she paled when she spotted the beast that was now hunting them. Thinking quickly she grabbed the white-haired boy hand. "Run!" She cried as she took off, hoping he would follow after her. She really didn't want to leave him behind to face that thing alone. She had read all about them and there were defiantly not nice whatsoever.

Anna yelped as she was suddenly lifted into the air, but didn't totally panic thanks to Ven's warning her. "Thanks, I appreciate the warning." She said it without any sarcasm. She twisted around until she got her hand inside her backpack (which miraculously survived the tumble into the ravine) and withdrew a six-inch long sheathed knife. She hated using weapons but her brother had given it to her and told her to use it if she was ever in trouble. "Hey Ven, I can't use weapons very well, but I've got a knife? Not going to do anything until the beast attacks though, cause I don't want to provoke it?"

Zedd quickly grabbed his bag of fish and jump into the trees following the direction his previous aquaintances went. The beast seemed very powerful and would of probably ripped him and his 2 companions into shreds if they didn't rush out of there like they did. Zedd continued to travel by tree branch hopefully safe since he was quite a distance from the ground.

"Ah, good call! I've got a weapon myself. If you'd like, I could give you a crash course on weaponry sometime." He says, feeling like a casual conversation would keep him from messing up along the way. So far, he'd been doing pretty good in terms of avoiding any stray roots or branches that could prevent him from making a clean getaway from the chimera. "Man, of all the things to be chased by, it just has to be a chimera. In a jungle, of all places!" Ven states.

Izumi stared at the large building in the distance and then looked over at the girl who was looking behind them. That was a recipe for disaster. "Lets go! That thing will catch up to us!" Izumi took the lead and kept the girls hand in his. He didn't seem to realize it for whatever reason. The only thing running through his mind right now, was that he wanted to live long enough to say thank you to this girl when they got to safety.

The Chimera would roar a loud raging roar, one that clearly does not sound friendly (so if Slendy's character is still there... this means RUN) Before he would strike at anyone nearby, then chase after the apprentices as they have all started to convene closer together as their all heading for the same structure, an old looking almost run down castle, with plants almost overgrowing it.

Bristlebane groaned, of course it breathed fire, it couldn't just happen to be chimera that couldn't breath fire could it? And it seemed the snake also seemed to be able to breathe some strange sort of poisen that withered the nearby vegatation even as he watched. Oh gawd that thing was loud, and moving, fast. Bristlebane nearly tripped over one of the many roots spread throughout the jungle turning to face foward. He picked up his pace quickly and agily covered the ground between him and the castle. Out of the corner of his eye he saw several other poeple also sprinting away from the Chimera but ignored in favor of keeping his footing. At this rate unless the Chimera did something unexpected he should make it to the castle before the beasty did. He grinned down at Cas, "Real as that castle over there, I hope so anyway cause if not then we're real trouble. Keep looking back there and tell me if it starts to catch up would ya?" he asked keeping up his blisteringly fast pace.
