Name: Ann and Ariadne
Alias(s): Casper
Age: 16
Affiliations: None
Description: Ann, and by extension Ariadne, will always be wearing the same thing with only slight variation. Ann's go-to is a white shirt complimented by a red skirt, whose length hovers around her knees. Candy cane colored stockings cover her legs and a pair of plain black flats cover her feet. Pretty much her old school uniform.
Powers: Ann and Ariadne have abilities that go hand-to-hand with their opposite. Anna, who can be declared as living, retains her full faculties (mind and body) in the physical world and to the naked eye, she is just some normal girl. Ariadne, who can be declared as dead, exists only in a supernatural state of existence, like a spirit or ghost. Ariadne cannot interact with the physical world outside of the very faint revelations a ghost can do. Anna, however, can always see where Ariadne is but cannot see other ghosts.
The interesting part of Ann and Ariadne's power comes from their own interaction. If Ariadne and Anna were to touch each other, they could swap existence planes and break some of the rules their other could not.
In the physical world, Ariadne's physical form is remarkable. Her strength increases tenfold and her body becomes resistant to physical damage. She can lift and toss smaller automobiles. Her bones can resist breaking and her skin hardens to deflect lighter caliber bullets. She is entirely immune to pain and any feeling in her body. She displays remarkable and unnatural speed, being able to move up to about forty-five miles per hour in a sprint and a halved reaction time compared to a normal human. However, Ariadne isn't intelligent and is prone to bloodlust rages at the slightest inconveniences. There is also an important note of Ariadne is not immune to injury. A broken leg can severely hamper her violent rage. Ariadne also cannot remain in the physical world and degradation can happen after extended visits to the physical plane.
Meanwhile in the spiritual world, Ann can do things that ghosts could not. She can fully appear as a specter in the physical world and can apply some force to the physical world. Working with Ariadne, Ann can trip and push but in more serve cases, can disrupt a marksmen's shot which was aimed at Ariadne's head. Her touch is described as quite cold, so much so that water might freeze if she interacts with it long enough. Ann can also communicate with the spirits that haunt our physical world, although all of them tend to give Ann the cold shoulder. Ann is fully immune to injury in this form.
Switching back is as simple as the two of them touching again. No matter how mangled Ariadne may be, she will be able to return to the physical world in full health after a time depending on her recovery. Ann comes back to the physical world mostly intact but dealing with ghosts can be quiet taxing. Any harm down to Ann in the physical form is, however, not recoverable with a switch of planes. Mortal wounds done to Ann will kill her but not Ariadne.
Skills: Ann and Ariadne possess no technical skills or really any other ability that may contribute to a cause. If you had to count anything, Ann is pretty sympathic and in touch with the emotions of others while Ariadne is very empathic and couldn't care less about morality and such.
Equipment: Ann and Ariadne live in a state of committing petty thievery to sustain mainly Ann. They don't have really anything.
Ranking: A
(Optional) Brief History: Ann and Ariadne believe to have been twins at one point, selected by some unknown group to be the subject of Metahuman creation. For two years, Ann and Ariadne were in captivity and subjugated to tests and experiments. The whole process was as humane as it could be, save for the forced kidnapping, experiments, and possibly the killing of Ariadne as this probably isn't irreversible. Whatever happened, a lot of it remains cloudy and even the circumstances of their escape is something they can't remember.
Note: A well trained physic can possibly reveal Ann and Ariadne's true origin.
