Deus put up a thumbs up. "Nice work guys, hope to see how you do in....the...ranking..battles...." Deus began to fall down. He hit the ground hard and it made a lot of noise since he was wearing weighted armcuffs, about 5lb. Kusanagi dispersed into the air, seeing as it's master wouldn't be needing him for the time being, Deus could always call it back though.

"Wow....is he'd dead?" Marcus squatted down near Deus's body and started poking him with a random stick he happened to have on him. "Tony if he's dead I was never here.....this is all your fault you know." He picked Deus and carried him piggy back style. He smiled devilishly. "Let's burry him."

Tony grinned, that was really exhilarating for him. "Yeah Marcus, your range is the only thing lacking, I'm sure you'll find a way to fix it though. He was just about to turn around and go cool off at his dorm when he hard Deus collapse. "Damn, must be from his- Hey don't freaking poke him! What? Wait stop, he isn't dead I can see him breathing," Tony was internally face palming, Marcus wasn't the brightest bulb. Jeez... "Let's go drop him off at the infirmary, I'm sure someone here can heal him. H's other exhausted or his ability did this to him as a side effect."

"Aw.....okay let's take him to the infirmary." Marcus says as he walks back to the schools entrance. Since the adrenaline from the battle wore off Marcus started to wonder what caused Deus to collapse like this. His ability must have some heavy recoil if it caused this to happen to its wielder. He also wondered what was that negative like energy he was giving off during the battle. Marcus decided he was gonna ask Dues later when he's in a healthier state.

@floodtalon Meruin's eyes went wide with surprise. Is it possible . . . ? "A Grimoire? You have one?" she asked. "That's wonderful! How many pages is it? Since when? How!?"

"My Grimoire didn't take the form of a book strangely enough. It took the form of cards. And how I got the cards is quite a long story. Let's just say that a good friend of mine turned out to not be such a good friend." He explained as his eyes became distant. "Its a tarot deck."

Eris was watching the fight from just outside the cafeteria still eating an apple and laughed at the end when Deus collapsed, "wow he must have been going all out!" She said as she started walking back towards the Dorm to wait for the next day. When she got to the room she laid down in her bed and started throwing glowing metal pins up at the ceiling above her bed in the shape of constellations. She had gotten half way through Cancer when she had familiar pain in her right arm as her scales started reappearing and progressing in a trail up her arm stopping in the usual place just under her right eye. "well no point in hiding it now" she said to herself and got up to stare out the window watching other students spar before falling asleep

Alex felt the disruptions caused by the trios's little "spar" diminish and realised they must have finished. Finally done...what were they practicing for so long and using so much power? he wondered and at that instant he felt the wavelenghts coming off Deus diminish even more; "What the..." Alex stood up and went to the window to see what was happening. All three of them were beat up and full with bruises and cuts but Marcus was carrying on his back Deus who seemed to have lost conciousness, "The hell...was it just 'practice' that did that to him?" he thought. Marcus seemed to be heading towards the infirmary, "Well, you get what you get..." he said out loud as if scolding Deus and quickly formulated an equation to teleport himself back to his room. To anyone who was at the cafeteria at the time, seeing Alex just dissapear into thin air must have been quite shocking...

After Hart restored all the Life Energy into the plants he had taken it from, Tony trudged back to the boys' dorms and tiredly got into the shower. He sighed, tomorrow is when things were going to get serious. He walked back to his dorm with a towel wrapped around his waist. The rest of the day passed in a blur.

@floodtalon Meruin nodded. "Yes, sometimes Grimoire's take shapes other than books, though I am surprised that yours took the form of a tarot deck. It doesn't seem like it fits you," said Meruin. She practically ignored Alex disappearing and turned her attention to the fight. "They have some unique abilities," said Meruin, analyzing them critically, "though they did go a bit far for a simple practice match." This, of course, was coming from the girl that did much worse during her very first fight - which was also a practice match. Sol and Ryan would recall the cracking of the ground, the pouring of lava, and of course, the meteors. Who could forget the meteors?

"You destroyed the forest with meteors. So in comparison, they were quite tame." Ryan responded. "I know why they're Tarot cards. And thats all that matters. I have half the deck so far, from The Fool to The Death card."

@thehangedman "True nearly anything would be considered tame by the comparison of that battle. I wish Mutt could be here." Sol said somewhat wistfully, the werewolf had been fun to be around even he was a bit different.

Meruin cleared her throat in attempt to change the topic of the conversation. Being reminded of her little . . . demonstration back then especially when compared to the fight earlier was a bit humiliating. "Yes, Mutt, I wonder where he is now?" she wondered. Meruin checked the silver watch on her hand, and turned to the other two. "It looks like it's almost time to head back to the dorms. Shall we grab a bite to eat then head back?"

"Sounds like a plan." Ryan grabbed some food and quickly ate. He then headed to his dorm and bed. He picked up his book and opened it after making sure no one was around. He flipped to a random page and pulled out a set of Tarot Cards. He pulled two random cards and looked at them. "The Empress and The Magician. Fitting." He put the cards in his pocket and began focusing on the listening devices he put all over school.

Meruin quickly ate the enormous pile of food she acquired and said her good-nights to Sol and Ryan. She made her way to her room, and greeted her roommates. Hopping on her bed, Meriun activated the silent glyphs that connected her to her wards around the school, and opened three books. Two of them had data and analyzations on the fight earlier, while one of them had a recording inside one of its pages. After sometime, the small mage fell asleep.

Time: 6:00 AM Tuesday. Day 2 of the school year. Chapter 2: Lessons of strength and mentality.

"Brother please, don't do this,you can't kill him!" A dark brown color came into view. It was the Dojo of his old master. In the scene there was his sister and his master begging him. His master was covered in dark flames. " Sorry -------, but I have to do this, if I can't save my master, then I can't save anyone. That is my burden. As an atonement, I'll carry that cursed sword, and I'll walk the Earth with it." As Deus grabbed the sword and began to thrust it into his master, the scene dispersed into darkness, as if it was being burned. Suddenly dark flames began to cover the dark area around him. A man appeared in sight. "Ssss... So you are the current wielder of my Murakamo no Tsurugi huh? Deus began to look around for the hissing voice when he saw an eight headed serpent. "Wha-What are you?!" "I am the 8-Headed Sperent from the legend, the one whom that dammed Susanoo tric-" Black Flames began emerging from Deus's body. "Don't fall for his tricks Deus, If you do, you'll regret it." Deus began to look around again. He knew he should probably follow what the voice had said. "Tsk, that dammed Amaterasu, he'll never pick your side, all of the previous wielders picked me, because you are weak." Deus began to feel impatient, he hated the way he was talking. He began to get annoyed. He ran towards the snake. "Sorry but I have my own plans." Deus punched one of the heads in the back, as it dispersed in the darkness. "I thank you Deus, You have made a good choice. My name is Amaterasu, Susanoo gifted me this sword, now since you are the current owner, I pass all control to you." Kusanagi appeared before him, it changed colors from a dark purple to black. "Wait I have other quest-" Deus woke up.

Elizabeth walked up the steps to the school. She took in a deep breath looking at it remembering the last time she was here as well as her friends she had made. Carrying the suitcases she had dragged her from the harbor full of hastily packed clothes and other items. Once inside the school Liz took a small water bottle out of the bag and drank it, quenching her thirst and also keeping the water elemental inside her alive. Pulling out a timetable she had been hastily given on her arrival to the island she tried to figure out where she was supposed to go but Liz had no idea where the room she was after was now. Sitting down on a small set of stairs in the school Liz awaited some other student to walk past be it an old friend or a a new student who had just joined the academy who could help lead her to either her room or to the next lesson.

@dash375 Sol quickly got out of bed and showered and got dressed in an efficient manner. First he would head down to the cafeteria to get a solid breakfast, then he would challenge a member of student council and see where the day went from there. Sol walked in a slightly hasty way eager to consume his breakfast and begin his first battle of the year. He fiddled with the bracelet on his arm, when you thought about it it was slightly intimidating. Knowing that something you wore could create a force-field around you at any time that you might not be able to get out of. Lost in thought he almost tripped over Liz barely managing to avoid running her over, "Liz!" he says pleasantly surprised, "I'm glad to see you could make it, I'm headed off to breakfast, would you care to join me?" he asks glad to see another familiar face. --- Elza yawned lazily. She should probably get up, but she really didn't want to, she rolled over to get more comfortable and to her surprise found that "over" was the floor and she hit it with a thunk. Elza was feeling very lazy though so she just opened a portal in the floor and the ceiling then feel back onto her incredibly soft and squishy bed with a dull thunk noise. She was not a morning person.

Marcus was holding dumb bells weighing about 2½ ton a piece throwing punches and taking a step forward every time he threw a punch. He took a quick nap and went straight to training. If he needs to become a suitable paladin he must be at least the best in both melee and ranged combat. He decided to work out and sleep in the infirmary to keep an eye on Deus. While he was working out he over heard Deus mumbling a couple of things and asked knowing Deus could probably not hear him."Um... You okay dude?" @BranchOfSin

Kusanagi appeared on Deus's hand and quickly pointed it at Marcus. "Oh..Sorry Marcus, I had a horrible night *shrugs* I won't explain what my dream was about by the way. If that can be called a dream or a nightmare. Anyways what are you doing here, I would've thought you went up to your dorm when you left me off over here." Deus said as Kusanagi dispersed in a black flame. He felt like a new person, reborn, if that is the word. He jumped off the bed seeing that he made a full recovery. @Slendy
