<Snipped quote by Kimiyosis> 1949. <Snipped quote by shadowkiller912> Population Density -Sparsely Populated; Less manpower for economic and military purposes, but it also means that the social infrastructure isn't under much strain. Educational costs and civic projects tend to be cheap. Industrialization -Semi-Industrialized: An established industrial complex is present in the nation. Domestic Technology -Obsolete: The industrial infrastructure and domestic technology level of the nation lags behind, though that does not necessarily mean that the stuff it produces is bad, it's just old-style tech; milled and forging as opposed to metal stamping, more wood than plastic, etc, etc. High technology production requires foreign training and foreign experts. Educational Institutions -Comprehensive Public Primary Schools, Merit/test-score based secondary education (Trade/University Prep), and Private Universities Domestic Political Stability -Regional Peaceful Dissident Activity Common Mineral Deposits -Huge deposits of iron, chromium, copper and the like. Valuable Mineral Deposits -Extensive deposits of rare earth metals, and platinum. Petroleum Wells -Some Petroleum, but technically difficult/expensive to exploit with current tech. Fissible Material Deposits -None Military Recruitment -Conscription Based for National Service Military Reliability -Loyal to National Leader/Law/Constitution Military Size -Tiny, relative to population, but easier to equip, train, and outfit. Military Technology -Obsolete Military Training and Morale 1d6+1d4 -Decently Trained; High Morale Military Leadership -Corrupt but Competent; Primary leadership rose through Military Academy, other generals were appointed Military Popularity -Unpopular Secret Services -Incompetent Secret Service; Invested heavily in local politics, such as replacing your current leader with someone they favor
Would my domestic tech be on par with an African nation? By estimate how big would my population be? Here is my map claim. http://i.imgur.com/GllHrvT.png
Shadow, your roll would've been ridiculously good for a balance of Quantity and Quality, if it wasn't for pop and tech. Tech leans towards Quantity, but pop forced either Quality or outnumbered total force. Sorry, too many war games gave me the urge to comment that roll :P
Indeed. I was hoping for a balanced nation. :P

Population Density (Population: 35,000,000) -Regionally Dense; A good amount of manpower for the military and economic purposes, with social infrastructure strained more at a regional basis. Education costs and civic projects range from affordable to expensive. The nation requires a stronger economy to sustain itself. Industrialization -Developing: In the initial stages of setting up factories to produce domestic goods; cheap labor. Domestic Technology -Modernizing: The industrial infrastructure is in the process of improvement, and this is a teething process. But the economy is seeing increased activity because of this investment. New technologies are becoming domestically available. However, there is a degree of dependence on imports, including in terms of the expertise to modernize the economy. Educational Institutions -Comprehensive Public Primary Schools, Merit/test-score based secondary education (Trade/University Prep), and Private Universitie Domestic Political Stability -Widespread Insurgency Common Mineral Deposits -Moderate deposits of iron, chromium, copper and the like. Valuable Mineral Deposits -Extensive deposits of rare earth metals, and platinum. Petroleum Wells -No Significant Petroleum/Natural Gas Wells. Fissible Material Deposits -None Military Recruitment -Conscription Based for National Service Military Reliability -Loyal to Population Military Size -Mid-sized, relative to population, some upkeep is involved. Military Technology -Obsolete Military Training and Morale -Poorly Trained; High Morale Military Leadership -Semi-Competent; Rose to their positions through Military Heroics Military Popularity -Popular Secret Services -Competent Secret Service; Loyal

Well, say you are the equivalent of an African nation that was a British colony. You have some industry left over from the colonial administration that you now run, but it's like India producing Lee Enfields in the 1960's; it's a weapon, but it's hardly modern. Your country is a generation behind, pre-WWII, in terms of industrial process. (WWII was one of the great pushes forward in that.) Of course, with the mineral deposits you own, I'm sure you can quickly sell rights off in return for more modern stuff. But, of course, you might want to beware the devil in the details of such agreements with larger powers. ;)

I prefer a religion; they're more volatile.
Um...eh...er My philosophy is that they are destined by evolution rather than god to be supreme... Sounds volatile-ish to me at least. Also, for slaves I was thinking they would take an IQ test that would determine their standing. The civil war was a revolt of the dumb.
So long as it's an ideology that has a problem getting along with others, I suppose I can settle. I need to see more details on how this puts your military at odds with your population, however, before I sign off entirely.

@HeySeuss Well, they believe 3/4-4/5 (I have not quite decided) is inferior to them. Granted they are fairly unintelligent, but still. It isn't good to get that many people pissed off. I will have claim up shortly, then I will have map.

Expect my map claim tomorrow. Because I'm the old guard imperialist, there will be some measure of detail work as my holdings almost certainly be noncontiguous.
