A concept gripped me but I cannot find a good fairy tale to match it. The basic idea was a mother hen type girl that uses either summons or her own (magically boosted) pets to fight for her. With less fanservice this picture would be pretty much exactly what I had in mind as far as appearance goes for the transformed state of both girl and summons.

Aiiiiiii, moar ship girls. Only did a quick google search, but there's The Tinderbox/The Spirit in the Candle which has individuals coming across objects capable of summoning creatures to their aid.

Considering we now have 8 Fablemaidens and one dude who is probably going to serve as our Tuxedo Mask-esq character, the GM is probably going to shut the characters fairly soon. That being said, a roleplay usually has at least two dropouts early on, so we'll probably have less than 8 by the time the story properly kicks off.

Okay, let's start with the basics: What fairy tales do you know well?

I have 2 ideas, now. One for a character based off of "The Twelve Huntsman", where a jilted princess gets 11 look-alikes to dress up like dudes and join her at the prince's palace. The magical costume would be quite masculine, but I'm not sure what I'd put for artifact or weapon. The character would be genderfluid themselves... thus the reason that this would happen. The other based off the "Pied Piper of Hamlin". I know I'd have a magic flute as the artifact, and the attacks would be like a party bard. A distracting song, a charming song, a damaging song... etc. etc. For an actual weapon, I'm not entirely sure. Which would you guys like to see?

I always go for bards because bards are awesome, but that's just me.
