May I say as someone who has Aspergers, while some of us can be lone wolves (I myself am one), others try their damnedest to be part of a group, whether the group wants them or not, and want to feel like part of the gang. Ellen, while she can be a little shy around new people, is one of these. She wants everyone to be her friend, she wants everyone to like her. Though, as mentioned before, she might be a little shy around the boys, though she'll probably get used to them.
I like that we have all three of the celestial digimon in this, it kinda fits with the theme of going against the manifestation of the sins :D
