*ARDENT KROSS*

GENERAL INFORMATION

Full Name
Ardent Kross

Species
Turian

Age
27

Gender
Male

PERSONAL DETAILS

Personal Profile
Kross is what you might term a 'blunt instrument' rather than a scalpel. He's a slovenly, brutish and direct. He's the sort of big guy who knows he's a big guy and uses that to get his way pretty often, throwing his weight around (often literally) to get his way. He likes the simple things in life - good food, good drink, lots of partying. Plenty of it and as loud and intense as he can get it; he'll never take one beer with dinner when he can go on an all-night bender. He takes the same approach to combat, going in loud and angry to inflict maximum damage.

A psychiatrist might have a field day interviewing and diagnosing Ardent's small constellation of personality disorders and psychoses. Suffice it to say that Ardent is a tool not used lightly by the Circle, never deployed in the proximity of anything or anyone the Circle likes and would prefer remains intact. He doesn't particularly care about collateral damage and if there's a level of ultra-violence that he's not willing to cross, it's not one he's encountered yet. And yet, for all his monstrosity he is a shockingly loyal individual. He considers the Circle his family and has the classical Turian loyalty and bond to the Circle instead of a homeworld or regiment.

Sexuality
Bisexual

APPEARANCE DETAILS

Physical Appearance
Kross has a lot of scars across his chest, arms and face from fist-fights, close calls with blades and the odd bullet wound. He has a story for each scar; some of them might even be true.

Kross is extremely large for a turian, standing at nearly eight feet tall and weighing in at two hundred and eighty pounds. He's also extremely strong and conditioned, bound in dense, cable-like musculature. His hide is brownish and he tends to wear reddish facepaint with the Omega symbol, to denote that Omega is his place of birth.

Clothing and Armour
Kross doesn't often go without at least light body armour on, from what would be paranoia on anywhere but Omega. He favours dark colours and reds, to keep in the theme of his face markings. One of his few accessories or adornments is a necklace of shell casings from obsolete automatic weapons. True to his normal style, in a fight he wears heavy armour with simple, powerful shields.

Equipment
Kross favours big, noisy weapons such as shotguns, heavy machine guns and hand cannons. His trademark are a pair of highly-customized Carnifex hand cannons, wielding akimbo.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

You'd be forgiven for thinking Ardent Kross was a krogan if all you had to go on was his description. He's big and strong, nasty in a brawl and despite being severely injured multiple times, no-one's quite figured out whatever blessed silver bullet is required to finally put the stubborn drokker down for good. Hurting him just seems to make him angrier and Ardent Kross becoming angry is often the prologue to a room full of people magically transforming into a room full of corpses. He's something of a local fixture on Omega and knows the station well, it's people and it's many little hidey holes. He's also been a criminal for his entire life without getting himself killed, so he's good at various forms of the graft; con schemes, sleight-of-hand. But brute force remains his favourite tactic.

BIOGRAPHY

Most people think of Omega station as a place of last resort, somewhere you come only when all your other options have run out, to hide from the authorities or some other escape. It's a place of endings. But what most people don't like to talk or think about are Omega's children, the people who are born there. Ardent Kross was one such child, born to Turian mercenaries who settled on the station full-time after being injured on a mission. He was raised on stories of the First Encounter War and read weapon specs to get to sleep.

Stable family lives don't really happen on Omega. Rival mercs from the Iron Teeth company had been chasing the Kross couple and stormed the apartment. What should have been in-and-out wetwork turned into a bloody two-day siege as the Kross family defended their homestead with guerrilla tactics, advanced technology and sheer spite. Unwilling to simply give up the fight and lose face, the Iron Teeth escalated and soon one small wetwork team became multiple squadrons, including at one point the deployment of light artillery. It was during this siege that Ardent got his first and tenth kills. The Iron Teeth got what they wanted, at a bloodier price than they had expected to pay. The Kross mercenary duo had fallen.

With his home in rubble, Ardent took to the street full-time, making a living plying the skills his parents had given him; violence and the application thereof. Sometimes he was shaking medical clinics down for drugs to sell, other times he was extorting protection money from businesses. He joined up with some minor street punks and this eventually lead to him becoming headhunted by a larger organization, the Circle of Absolution. The price of admission was a test, a hit on Garran H'ttar, a Batarian slaver in one of the lower levels. H'ttar's one weakness was that the only time he left his stronghold - a fortified mechanics shop - was to visit his favourite noodle shop. Given that he only did so with ten armed guards, most people would have taken the subtle approach - poisoned the noodles, sniped H'ttar from across the way, left an explosive for him.

Ardent Kross does not take the subtle approach.

Ardent walked in the front door of the noodle shop with two hand cannons, a shotgun and an industrial buzzsaw. He left with three bullet wounds, a whole heap of bruises and H'ttar's severed head to serve as proof that the hit was complete. Now, Ticus Rakaelum is not a fool; he knew that Kross could be a timebomb if handled incorrectly. But he also knew that it was a timebomb he'd rather have control over whose detonation he could set the time, date and, most importantly, target. So he took Kross on board, kept him placated and at arm's length but has not called on his talents often. This means that though Kross has been a member of the syndicate for about six months, he's still functionally entry-level and lacks many of the proper protections the syndicate can offer. And that's something Kross is going to need soon; H'ttar's people are going to be looking for the blood and the Iron Teeth have realized that someone survived their hit on the Kross household..

Arisaka Hayabusa

Arisaka Myuzu Hayabusa, PhD
Theme: Happy Synthesizer

Species
Human

Age
24

Gender
Female

PERSONAL DETAILS

Personal Profile
Arisaka can be described best as “happy-go-lucky”. She always seems oblivious to all the darkness around her and keeps a sort of child-like innocence. Most people don’t trust Arisaka due to the fact her personality doesn’t match her surroundings what so ever, but she tries to be friendly anyways.

She always hides her abilities under the facade of smiles or occasionally a very “professional hitman” sort of attitude. Even in battle, she is show as calm, and even a bit hyperactive. When not fighting, she can be put in the little sister category, often bugging her teammates, lazing about and easting sweets before mealtime. She does often exploit her adorability to her advantage like bypassing security or infiltrating guarded areas.

Sexuality
Bi

APPEARANCE DETAILS

Physical Appearance

5 ft, 9 in
She is of Asian dissent and has dark brown hair with black highlight that you wouldn’t be able to tell. Her body seems slender and modest but she is quite athletic and a moderate bust size. She has big eyes with heterochormia, but it is not natural, her left eye is black while her left eye is purple and the skin around it has been stitched on and is a bit lighter in color.

Clothing and Armour
She were a form-fitting black trench coat that opens up towards the middle and has a utility belt around the waist and several belts all over the suit, most of them for style. Arisaka also wear thigh high, latex boots, each one with a hidden knife in it. She also has a hood that is similar to that of Katsumi’s but she rarely wears it.

Equipment
Two M-25 Hornets SMGs
One M-6 Carifex Pistol
Two extendable alloy knives
4 lift grenades
Tech armor module
Cryo Blast and Overload Omni-Tool modifications

SKILLS & ABILITIES

-Good shot with smaller guns
-Skilled in hand-to-hand combat and CQC
-Very knowledgeable in engineering and electronics
-The Biotic skills Throw and Warp
-Limited knowledge on communications and physics

BIOGRAPHY

Arisaka has no memories of her parents, she was born into slavery and sold to new masters shortly after. Much of her childhood consisted of servitude and being forced to repair some of Omega’s most dangerous and hazardous equipment with little help or safety precaution. She has seen many people die from being launched into space, electrocuted or impaled. Despite all of this, she always remained calm can tried to justified on why some people lived and why some people died. “Maybe they didn’t check their cables” or “He should have worn better gloves.” Is what Arisaka said on many occasion after seeing her friends die in horrible ways. Arisaka herself would be a victim when a transformer exploded, taking a part of her face and left eye with it. She would get a bit of flesh sewn to replace it and would also be given an eye transplant, albeit a different color.

When she had finally reached her teenaged years, he biotic abilities awoken and she was sold to an underground pit-fighting club. She would fight under the name of “Scarlet Bullet” and some became an experienced CQC fighter and a learned biotic. Once again, stuck in her innocent mindset, she tried to justified the people she killed in the pit with “They were bad people” or “They were going to die anyways, I just quickened the past”. She soon learned that her cute appearance meant that there was good money to be made hanging around visitors after the fights, learning how to extort the male watchers for all the money they had and then some.

At the age of 18, she was finally able to buy her freedom and tried to enter schooling. However, no school on Omega would accept a former pit-fighter as 1) She didn’t have any prior school and 2) It was Omega, they didn’t care about one girl. Determined to surprise them all, Arisaka got a job at a local gun shop and used her wages to buy audio tapes of engineering lessons and when she took the test, she scored amongst the top 10. After 4 years of intense schooling, Arisaka had gotten a degree in Engineering (or the Omega equivalent). However, a weapon malfunction had killed her boss some years earlier and Arisaka was out of a job. After hearing about a local gang needing help, she eagerly joined up.

*Sela*

GENERAL INFORMATION

Full Name

Sela’Migar nar Naraam (Currently)

Sela’Migar vas Naraam (Past)

Species

Quarian

Age

Human Equivalent of 27

Gender

Female

PERSONAL DETAILS

Personal Profile

Sela had always been a bit eccentric. While a savant with technology, she can be a bit apathetic to her fellow organics - particularly when they see something difficult yet simple to her. Her manner of speech is rather blunt as she hates sugar coating what she means and values jumping directly to the point. Its gotten her into trouble many times before, but her colleagues often value the things she says — when constructive — in the end.

While not reckless by any means, Sela believes in doing something with great promise rather than asking for permission. If she sees and opportunity she can exploit, she’ll take it. Regardless if it’s in popular opinion or not. Her reputation — and fall from grace — has been based on this. Usually the results from this are good, but when failure happens, the consequences are heavy.

A drop in her sarcastic tone only happens with those she sees as an equal or when she’s talking about anything synthetic. She has a great love for little plush dolls sold at souvenir shops.

Sexuality

Pansexual

APPEARANCE DETAILS

Physical Appearance

Sela is approximately 5’7” making her average height for her people. Quarians coming from the Naraam were naturally taller than other live ships, which quarian scientist are constantly trying to analyze and explain. Underneath her mask, she has rich, brown hair and purple-ish eyes. Her face is sharp and angular giving her the image of beautiful elegance and arrogance at times.

She also has markings on her neck and face that is common amongst her people.

Clothing and Armour

The clothing and armor available to Sela is rather limited. The majority of the time, she wears her environmental suit and that’d be the end of it. However, she does have the Combat Engineers environmental suit from her time in the Migrant Marines. However, that variation is sparsely worn though she keeps it with her.

Equipment

M12-Locust
M-5 Phalanx
EMP grenades
Modified omni-tool
Personal VI (As a researcher in synthetics, Sela has been working on evolving a VI to an AI.)

SKILLS & ABILITIES

BIOGRAPHY

Born on the Sharik, Sela began her earlier years just like any other quarian. Since childhood, she was taught how it was every quarians duty to sacrifice for the fleet and place its security above any other. While she agreed with the preservation of her people, when the Geth War was taught, Sela had much more different views on the matter. Instead of the great enemy, she had wonder.

When she was old enough, Sela went out on her pilgrimage traveling from one place to another. On her journey, she discovered, by chance, a salvager who was selling tech recovered from the Perseus Veil. Unbeknownst to the salvager at the time, what he mistook for a mere data chip was Geth technology that Sela discovered after going through it. The contents were astonishing to the quarian. Details on how to run a more effective interface was gleamed from the chip as Sela tested it out on her omnitool and several monitors that stores allowed her to tamper with. After dozens of trials and further innovations, Sela returned back to the fleet carrying the data she’d discovered and improved.

Upon her arrival, Sela presented her findings to the Naraam who’s captain accepted her after demonstrating her contribution. However, the origins of the information wasn’t lost to the quarians. Because of the data was Geth in nature, Sela was kept under guard as quarian scientist scanned through her contribution to ensure that it couldn’t harm the fleet. It was only after weeks of testing and intensive interrogating was Sela allowed to leave. The treatment in the cells was partially what made her partial to synthetics versus organics. Synthetics and hardware were easy to understand, no grey spectrum. Organics? They were a harsher thing to deal with. Her gift in synthetic science allowed her to catch the eyes of the engineers as she was invited to join them where she’d provide further innovations and breakthroughs for the quarians.

Though she reached a status of reputation, Sela wanted to do more than mere live ship maintenance and improvements. She wanted Geth. Attaching herself to the Migrant Marines, Sela endured the training. What she lacked in weapons and tactics, she made up her tech powers, hacking, and AI control. While being accepted into the Marines, she was kept to the rear due to her researching role and her below proficient use of weapons and military tactics.

On a mission to a planet in the Perseus Veil, Sela had the opportunity to fully diagnosis Geth units that her team put down. As she became more enamored with the machines, she saw yet another opportunity. The creation of a smarter VI. Whispers of her ambition leaked to her superiors, which caused an uproar amongst the Migrant fleet. Orders were issued to seize her, but Sela had disappeared before she could be apprehended. The inevitability wasn’t lost on her as she prepared her flight from her people. As much as she hated leaving, she couldn’t stop her development now. Sela wanted to show that her people could control the Geth. She just needed time.

Looking to Omega, Sela quickly settled in and disappeared. Committing identity thefts, hackings, bank jobs, and other things to keep herself afloat, it wasn’t long until she received the invitation from the Circle of Absolution. She had heard of it, and she was impartial. However, she saw opportunity — resources — that could further her works. In the end, she took the invitation.

TICUS RAKAELUM (NPC)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Full Name
Ticus Rakaelum

Species
Turian

Age
44

Gender
Male

PERSONAL DETAILS

Personal Profile
Ticus is intelligent. He knows how cruel the galaxy is. Therefore, he decides to operate in a way that will increase his chances and decrease everyone else. He too is cruel, relentless and unforgiving. He will not consider the "feelings" of a person and the word "morals" means nothing to him. He does not hold his tongue and will speak his mind, unless he is in the presence of someone he deems superior to him, in which situation he is quite a suck-up.

Sexuality
Unknown

APPEARANCE DETAILS

Physical Appearance
Little above average height. Muscular build. No visible scars.

Clothing and Armour
Typically, medium to heavy armour branded with the circle's markings. When in his own private quarters, he is clad in fanciful attire only attainable by the wealthy, blacks, reds and purples in luxurious materials. When he is not in the safety of his own home, however, he is always properly protected from any threat Omega has to offer.

Equipment
Ticus doesn't have to shoot anyone. He has bodyguards for that. However, being the cautious and survivalist person he is, he carries a pistol with him at all times.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Ticus has state of the art combat training as well as the best education Palaven can offer. He is the son of a diplomat and has many years of experience under his belt.

BIOGRAPHY

Unlike many of the people in his line of work, Ticus came from a wealthy background, his father a diplomat on the Turian capital of Palaven. He was given the highest possible education attainable all throughout his youth. In fact, he was a relatively normal, wealthy Turian until his mid-20s, when he had quite a dispute with his father. He had never been a peaceful person, in fact he had always been quite violent, he just had the control to prevent himself from lashing out. However, he did not hold back on this particular day. By the end of the night his father had a bullet hole in the side of his head. Ticus fled from the planet, along with his father's wealth.
He eventually found himself in the Terminus Systems, using some of his money to establish a small smuggling circuit. Over the years, it grew, and by his early 30s, he had built somewhat of an empire - and it had developed from smugglers, to mercenaries. Ticus sat back and watched the credits roll in at home, without any particular work to do other than administration work every now and then. He decided, in this time, to train so that he too could protect his life, and if necessary, take others. He hired several personal trainers and purchased himself an armoury of weapons. Within a few years, he was better than any of the men he hired.
At the age of 35, he met with the leader of the Circle of Absolution, who had been monitoring his mercenary company for several months. The Circle was larger and more powerful than Ticus' operation, so when he was offered the chance to hand over the control of all of his vessels and men over to the leader of the Circle in exchange for a position as his left hand man and advisor, he accepted willingly.
He spent the best part of a decade travelling the Terminus Systems with his new employer before he was sent to Omega, to oversee the Circle's business there. He took charge of all recruitment on Omega, too, as he wished to see first-hand who would be entering the Circle.

MIRA

GENERAL INFORMATION

Full Name
Mira Vadri

Species
Asari

Age
123

Gender
The Asari are a mono-gendered species, male and female have no real meaning to their species. However, they do take a motherly role in regards to their offspring, which has led to them being recognized as female.

PERSONAL DETAILS

Personal Profile
Regarded highly for her skill as a diplomat, Ms. Vadri is an exceptional negotiator, always centered. Those who have been in her presence could, and would, reportedly mention how she seemed to stave off any anxiety with just a glance towards them, "It was like staring into the galaxy, without the distraction of anything but the many stars and sun. It was as if I was swallowed in eternity."

Only in extreme cases has anyone truly encountered her temper, as short lived as it is. Violence of any kind doesn't sit well with Mira, however, she is not opposed to using force when absolutely necessary. She is extremely determined, seemingly well put together, yet still cannot truly figure out a joke despite her many interactions with other species.

Mira is an Asari adept, her biotic powers focused on telekinetic fury, yet she is the calm eye of the storm. To those she is in contact with, she is a respectable young Asari, a little strange considering she is in the youngest stage of their life cycle. In the evenings, she takes to meditation to keep herself centered, a pastime that has been her saving grace while on Omega.

Sexuality
Bisexual

APPEARANCE DETAILS

Physical Appearance
Mira stands at a height of 5'8, a lithe figure with a paired weight of 118 pounds (173 CM | 54 KG). She has an omni-tattoo on her right arm, one of a butterfly, the first human animal she had learned about - instantly fell in love with the creature.

She has a purple tint to her skin, with piercing emerald eyes that melt their way into even the toughest of souls.

Clothing and Armour
Where she would normally in her diplomatic uniform, on Omega she has had to make certain adjustments to her uniform. She is now wearing form-fitting Asari commando gear, a foreign type of clothing that she has slowly adjusted to, leaving her always just a little out of character. Her face betrays no scars or other wear and tear that would normally accompany this type of attire, yet despite this, she has managed to ward off any who seek her harm with her unnatural state of calm on Omega.

Equipment
A pistol in the belt strap on her back, and her omni-tool.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Her time spent as a diplomat has given her some insight on others, how they move when they talk, the tone of their voice, all of the little quirks that would otherwise go unnoticed, she picks up on and capitalizes on.
As most of her race, she is a fast learner, and has a high aptitude for learning anything new.
Mira is an incredibly gifted biotic, earning her place as one of the Asari adepts.

BIOGRAPHY

Born on Thessia, the Asari homeworld and what is considered to be the beating heart of the galaxy, diplomacy ran through her blood from the moment she took her first breath. Taught through the wisdom of the Matriarchs, Mira was a student with a knack for charming all those around her, when she spoke, it seemed she entrapped them in a web of her thoughts, winding them tightly with her thread of assurance, making them all to happy to conform to her way of thinking. It had been a suggestion of one of the Matriarchs that she take leave of the peaceful Thessia, and go about the Galaxy to explore while still young and able to enjoy all the galaxy had to offer - Perhaps she could learn something of the other species while watching or conversing with them elsewhere.

As young as 46, she was sent with a few other promising Asari students; Diplomats, Commandos in training, as well as scientists. The vivid memory of the first blast from the ship, the last view of home, and the vastness of space swallowing her whole shall be burned into her mind forevermore, a beautiful sensation, to be one with the galaxy. During her travels from planet to planet, she encountered many different people and races, all seeking to better their lives or the lives of those they cared for. She soon became known for the help and guidance she gave to those she had encountered, leaving others to actively seek her out for some kind of help, which she would gladly offer.
It wasn't until many years later, all her time spent amassing knowledge on alien culture, even taking the liberty to return home to Thessia and witness the calm that was her homeworld. It was there that she was contacted by a anonymous Krogan - One who desperately needed her help. She was always quick to agree, but this time, she faltered. He was located on Omega. The one place in the galaxy that gave her more chills than the chilling stories the Asari mother's would sometimes let their children hear of those that came before, a world that seemed nothing more than a chaotic mass of organic life, existing only to drain the happiness out of those that lived within, trapped on the surface.
Though in the end she had agreed, the fact that her name was known in a place such as Omega gave her a frightful feeling. She had changed her apparel almost completely before entering the planets atmosphere, making sure that it wouldn't be easy to recognize her, even going as far as to create false identification cards for herself. As she headed to where the Krogan had told her to meet, some place near the docking bays, she couldn't rid that sickening feeling deep in her gut.
She should have listened to that feeling. The Krogan she had been sent to meet with had told her why he asked her to come, this time elaborating a little more on this Circle he planned to leave. Listening intently, Mira hadn't taken note of the small red dot focused directly on the poor man's neck, aimed right at the break in his armor plated skin and mercenary armor. Just as she moved to shake the Krogan's hand, after promising him that she would do anything she could for him, promising that he would make it out, the shot rang out and shrieked through the darkness that enveloped the docking bay. His dark blood splattered against her face and as he collapsed, all she could do was stand, frozen in shock. When she had finally snapped to attention, her eyes refocusing, she frantically scanned the area for the shooter before she called for help. The only answer that came was a hard blow to the back of her head, and the warm greeting of the abyss that embraced her in a blanket of black.
It was only a short time after that encounter that she had taken the first job, conning anyone she could out of their hard earned money, soon to become her hard earned money. Or, more specifically, the Circle's credits. The day that Krogan died, the day her face was painted in blood - That was the day she had been captured, from then on, she had a choice. Either join the Circle, or die in the room that the mercenaries had taken her to. Even though she had chosen to join the Circle, Mira no longer felt alive. Everything she had once truly fought for, had been perverted, she was now relying on the weakness of others to bolster her strength, using their desperation against them with promises of false hope. Just like the Krogan, it seemed their was no life she touched now, that went undamaged.

Sir Geoffrey

GENERAL INFORMATION

Full Name
Sire Geoffrey Neville Cockburn, Knight of the Realm in the service of His Lordship, King Henry VI Lancaster. Noble of the great house Cockburn, and defender of the Catholic faith.

Species
In actuality, he is Krogan, however he believes himself to be Human.

Age
354, though in his mind he is an aging man of 40, on the cusp of retiring from active duty.

Gender
Male

PERSONAL DETAILS

Personal Profile
Sir Geoffrey is a very odd individual for a Krogan, one that has given him all too many curious looks on his long journey since being released. In his mind, he was raised as a young noble, and thusly acts according to the chivalrous code and the ways in which a knight must conduct himself. At all times he is kind and courteous to others, giving them respect until the point at which his respect is no longer warranted. Beyond his attitude, he truly believes in the image cast about him, deluded into thinking he is a human in the service of the King of England nearly seven hundred years ago. Needless to say, he is often looked upon as mentally unstable, and especially so because of his adamant belief.

Sexuality
As he believes himself to be a christian in good faith, he is heterosexual. To suggest otherwise may anger him.

APPEARANCE DETAILS

Physical Appearance
Despite what he would have you believe, Geoffrey is a prime example of a Krogan in his middling years. At nearly eight feet in height and almost 175 kilos, he cuts an imposing image and is capable of exerting great strength with little effort. His emerald green eyes seem always alert, seeking out the eyes of those he speaks to and remaining attentive.

Clothing and Armour
His typical armor is a custom made suit of plate armor built for him by the London Institute for Traditional Craftsmanship. Though on the exterior it appears to be a modified suit of plate, it is layered with ceramic armor strands and temperature filtering layers. This allows his armor to function as equivalent to the most basic heavy armor available on the open market. Beyond this, he has in his possession a tailored suit for wear outside combat.

Equipment
His main weapon is that of a modified morning-star with an emitter that produces an electrical field upon impacting a solid object with enough force. Upon activating, the electrical field snaps outward, producing a wave of force that tears asunder exposed flesh in a radius and may be able to buckle armor it impacts. His left-hand weapon is not a weapon, but a tower shield built for him by the LITC, one with a discreet shield emitter within that polarizes the surface of the shield. Though by no means equivalent in strength to even the most basic of personal shields, the important part of this is that it protects him far more than the shield would normally, and allows him the air of belief that it is not advanced technology behind it.

Though he is seldom to use it, he has acquired a standard issue rifle from the Systems Alliance. The basic operations of the rifle fail him at times, and it is often which he wonders why it is the thing works the way it does. Nevertheless, he will use it in practicality to remove threats at range.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

As his neuro-indoctrination has created him to believe, Geoffrey is a capable fighter in close combat, even without factoring in his size and Krogan strength. Both his morning-star and shield are used as if extensions of his body, and his ability to move within his armor as if it was nothing make him a deadly force in swinging range.

Beyond his martial capability, Geoffrey is the image of a gentleman, taking upon himself the Knight's code of honour and conduct. This he does in the belief that it is only the proper thing to do.

BIOGRAPHY

Early in 2180 discussions were made within the Systems Alliance over the viability of a program to train fresh soldiers through psycho-indoctrination and neural-linked learning. The theory was that a person could learn volumes of tactics and training in a thousandth the time it would normally take, via direct uploading of the information to the cortex. Despite favourable sentiment towards the idea, the leadership was unwilling to initiate human testing without full understanding of the process. So it was that an inquiry was sent to the scientific database to find other species to test the method on, and find one suitable for the process. As the inquiry went on, many of the citadel races were found unsuitable, due to limiting factors from high frequency of biotics to political tension between the SA and the particular government.

In the end, a choice was given between a Krogan subject, or abandoning the project all together. Not wanting to give up on the project, an offer was made to some of the outlying clans and to their surprise an individual accepted the offer. Granted, the offer was veiled as one that promised many things that were not even part of the original proposal, but regardless, they had their subject. Due to their unique biology, changes had to be made for testing on the Krogan, such as the need for anesthetics and many chemical balancers for the neuro-treatment. With preparations complete, and the Krogan on the table, the test began with him remaining awake.

As part of the experiment, the entirety of human history and early battle tactics had been selected to be uploaded, so as to see how well the process took to the subject. In the beginning, it went well, the subject responding positively to the psycho-conditioning and taking in the information at an acceptable rate. However, as the process entered into the half-way point, a fault occurred in database, creating a surge which fried the connectors to the subject's body. For a full thirty seconds, the subject writhed upon the table as his mind and body were fried in the surge of electrical energy from the damaged connectors.

Despite hastily removing the connectors and shutting down the test, the damage had been done, and the subject had suffered severe brain damage from the fault. All the scientists could do at this point was to induce the subject into a coma and treat what they could of his wounds, attempting to discover exactly what lead to the fault and what damage had truly been done. For six weeks the Krogan lay in a deep coma while he was worked upon, his vitals stabilizing as they discovered the extent of the damage. When it came time to awaken the subject, the scientists expected to be greeted by a vegetable, a once proud Krogan reduced to barely being capable of speaking.

To their astonishment and horror, they found that the test was both a success and a terrible failure. The Krogan had awoken in a strange time and on a world unfamiliar to him, though it was more so for the process which taught him human history had done so from a point of view of specific individuals through time. When the fault had developed, he had been witnessing the height of the Hundred Years War, as a knight in the service of King Henry VI Lancaster. This development confused the scientists almost as much as the Krogan himself, both parties equally bewildered by the event. With some very careful questioning, they discovered the subject to be believing himself to be one Sir Geoffrey Neville Cockburn, supposedly knighted by King Henry in 1440 and serving in the war against the French in the defense of Normandie.

Unsurprisingly, when parliament heard of the results, the test was shut down for good, no commander wishing the risk of troops believing themselves to be seven hundred years in the past. Geoffrey's fate, however, remained undecided. On one hand, he was deemed incapable of functioning in society due to his fervent beliefs in being a man in 1444, a rightful belief reinforced by his steadfast refusal to see the truth of the matter. On the other hand he was still a Krogan, and frighteningly capable of medieval combat tactics, a skill which could see him of great use even despite his instability.

In the end it became too expensive to continue to hold Sir Geoffrey, and so the scientist team was forced to release him into neutral space. What followed was a long spiral in which he found himself lost and confused where ever he went, struggling to come to terms with the amazing feats which came up at every turn. He found it difficult to maintain a living, swiftly becoming a vagrant and taking whatever he could to feed himself while maintaining the appearance of a good christian in service of his king. In time he found himself on Omega, working for a local fight organizer, believing it to be a tourney against fellow knights. Here he has lived and served since his arrival, and is where he was found by Ticus, and earned his eye...
