Civilian - Standing at 6’1” Will could be considered to be in the peak of his physical state. Short trimmed black hair cut in a neat fashion is accompanied by a modern sharp and groomed beard. Not a superstar by any chance but he is still considered attractive. Underneath his well-presented exterior however, is a scarred body. The expensive suits hide flesh that has been torn, cut and burnt many times. Almost 40% of Will’s skin is comprised of scar tissue. Whilst extensive and reliable regenerative medical technology exists, he is stubborn in refusal his to undergo such treatment as the wounds have meaning to him. On the back of both palms he bears a branded mark, seemingly infused by something more than a flame brand; ψ

Tempest – Tintrayach Energy Manipulation Prototype & Embedded Software Testbed

The T-4 is the first field worthy and operationally functioning version of the Tempest battle suit and thus the first, and current suit to actually be worn by William. It was developed and produced solely by the genius mind of Collin Gamble, Will’s lifelong friend, and conveniently head of Adisoncorp’s Advanced Research, R&D department.
The bottom half of the suit is similar to modern army standard combat armour. It is designed to offer flexibility and a large degree of movement whilst still providing high quality protection. This is achieved using Polynesiphenylene-Cruaphthalamide, commonly referred to as its product name ‘Cuvlact’. Cuvlact is a material with huge tensile strength made with overlapping, interwoven layers of Kevlar and Cuvantis, a little understood hard to obtain material with discernibly otherworldly characteristics. It is stab proof, mostly bulletproof and protects against kinetics. The implementation of this material in the T-4 allows for a great balance of protection and mobility where the lower body is concerned; assuming the user can avoid being shot in the leg too frequently. Some metal plating is implemented in the boots and the less mobile parts of the lower body.

The upper half of the T-4 however, is much a different story. A heavy one-of-a-kind battle armour comprises this section of the suit. Dense metal plates and basic kinetic barriers offer much more protection than the lower half, but with the obvious restrictiveness in the mobility department. Will is a hand to hand combat fighter by nature however, and the metal suit does not serve the function of protection as its primary utility. Its real function is the containment, channelling and control of Will’s powers; the ability to generate lightning and kinetic blasts (see history and powers section for more details). The suit acts somewhat like a battery, storing reservoirs of Will’s power which are used for two reasons. Firstly to ensure there is constantly an energy reserve for Will to use and secondly, even more importantly, to limit the amount of energy expended in a single blast. Of course, the joint areas of the suit feature the same way, so as to limit the mobility reduction.

Finally, the helm of the suit is a sophisticated battlefield computer. Will cannot see directly from within in the helmet. Instead information is fed to him through four sensors on the exterior of the helmet and displayed to him in a complex but intuitive internal heads-up display. It features night vision, sonar, infra-red, uv and other modes such as target tagging.

The T-4 also has a half-cape. Why? Because if Collin has to go to the immense effort of producing these suits, he gets to give it a fricking cape, that’s why.

William’s attitude seems to only take two forms: irritated or irritating. Whilst he mostly presents himself in a light-hearted if somewhat patronising manner, he doesn’t take too well to genuine harassment or intimidation. By no measure an unintelligent man, Will does though find himself often playing the sardonic asshat due to the annoyingly ridiculous level of intelligence of most people he keeps company with these days, especially the one always by his side; Collin.

History:
Born into the Adison business empire, Will from the outset had advantages that most are bereft of by circumstance. Adisoncorp has had its fingers in many pots, but mostly deals with commercial technology R&D and some less than savoury practices. Will is the second son, his older brother Harry born five years before him. Their father, Walter, was an unpleasant, cold but fair man. He was by no means an absent or interested parent but nor was he a charitable one. His privileged childhood did much to keep Will sheltered from some of Enduwin’s harsher realities, at least at first.

At several stages in his early life Will has had minor ‘occurrences’. Inconsequential on their own, but thought provoking when laid out together. Electronics frizzing off sporadically, incongruous movement of objects when reacted to something quickly. Thoughts of it being tangible, of something truly being there were buried by his ‘logical’ mind. Over time, throughout his childhood though, these thoughts grew, as did the true cause.

Through his adolescence and rebellious anti-establishment period, Will learned a lot of what really made humanity tick. Albeit to him the ‘establishment’ was nothing more than his parents, and his acts of dissent mostly involved skipping off classes and wandering the less than reputable parts of Fortitude City. It was in these teen years that Will would meet probably the most important person in his life so far, other than himself, Collin.

Collin was everything he was not; book smart, optimistic and as poor as a church mouse. By the time the pair were fifteen they were as thick as thieves; literally. Will out of a rebellious spurn of capitalism and Collin often out of necessity. Idealistic visions of petty crime soon turned to eye-opening cataclysms of what a life of crime was really like. Things happened that set about turning the two back on the straight and narrow, conversations had, events seen, neither seems wanting or willing to discuss it. Will eventually demanded of his father that either he be allowed to attend the public school Collin was about to entire for his final three years before the possibility of University, or else pay for Collin to attend Redwell Prepatory School, the establishment against which he was currently revolting. After much heated debate including words such as ‘poverty’, ‘prick’, ‘pompous’ and ‘vermin’ Walter eventually let his social barriers down for the apparent benefit of his child.

Now, Mrs. Gamble was a proud working class mother, not one to take charity without a dent in her pride, and she utterly refused to accept anything from the Adisons other than with regards to her son’s education. Laying down pride for her child, much like Walter Adison.

The years encompassing Will’s life from this point are pretty much a blank. Absolute refusal on his part to discuss it and lack of any physical or digital evidence. Returning to Fortitude recently Will found himself the remaining living Adison in the city, his inherited shares in the company also gone years ago with assumed death. Parents and brother both died of natural causes, and the company was passed into public stock exchange with no heir.
The source of his powers remain a mystery however, Will does have a perfectly concocted cover-story should it ever become necessary to ‘divulge’. Actual knowledge of the source of his power is, in his opinion, could wreathe the world asunder. What he has divulged to Collin is that he isn't a naturally born son of the Adisons. He is a genetically manufactured life that isn't technically human.

Highly sophisticated battle armour designed, built and maintained by the tech savvy little genius that is Collin Gamble. The suit has many functions but its three primary uses are: Control of Will’s powers, protection from the people inevitably attempting to kill the vigilante and enhancement of sensory input to give a tactical advantage in the field.

Despite his shares having been liquidated without his consent due to a clause being enacted assuming his was dead, the personal material wealth of his family was bestowed upon him after his eventual return. He’d never admit it, but it is realistically his single greatest asset.

-Collin Gamble
Tempest is a three pronged system: William, the suit and Collin. Each needs the other two for anything to actual happen. When his childhood friend reappeared under circumstances more conspicuous than anything other than the initial vanishing, Collin was sceptical to say the least. Sceptical and furious that is. Surprising how the one person to whom you can talk to about some rather horrifying elements of your past reappearing after nearly a decade and demanding your help and silence can truly and utterly drive even a calm man to rage. Followed by eventual begrudging acceptance.
Currently Collin is the Director Of Advanced Research at Adisoncorp, an ambiguous but noteworthy title . Along with Will, he located Adisoncorps decades old, failed weapons test facility on the city’s outskirts. They then went to extensive effort to clear it out and relocate the equipment to a secure facility in the city centre. Here, sleepless nights, a huge pool of money, a spark of genius and a bit of blind luck eventually lead to the functioning T4.

Skills:
Beyond the scope of his powers, Will has a superb mastery of Shin Ju Naoi, the art of hand to hand combat crafted and perfected by the shadowy group of monks known as the White Hand.
The only thing sharper than his reflexes is his wit, or so he claims.

Powers

His outward aesthetic physiology is almost identical to human but internally he has incredibly dense and functioning stacks of electroplaques. The Tempest suit and it's incorporated power core focus the energy from these stacks which function as voltaic piles. The main functions of the suit in this regard are creating potential differences as need so as to 'aim' the electrical energy, and the conversion to kinetic energy and subsequent projection of it. The power core was found in the abandoned Adisoncorp lab and Will has convinced Collin of its magical origin. Strange, that such a powerful object would be left behind.

Gretchen is the tallest amongst a family of short. She stands 5’11”, and with her ample bust, hips that do not lie, and legs that seem to go on forever, she has the body any young lady would kill for. Her choice to wear slim-fitting clothing only seeks to confirm her statuesque beauty. The parents have no idea where the genetics are from. She is beautiful without any heavy makeup or getting dressed up.

She has very light skin, and has a head of wavy, silvery-blond hair. Her bright red lipstick accentuates her porcelain white teeth whenever she grins, her large smile spread from jaw to jaw that betrayed her cute-girl look into a fierce model. Her nose is tall and subtly pointed, with an equally subtly pointed chin, and round jaw. Her brows are long and thin, and her eyes are a dark shade of blue. Her wide smile and very articulate eyebrow control could stomp all the competition in a beauty pageant, had she simply the desire. Yes, she does acknowledge that there is probably little of what she is now that was inherited from her parents, but embraces people’s adoration and fascination of it. Without really trying, she is able to capture the hearts of many.

Gretchen is one of those girls that enjoys a simple life. Yes, she does go out and travel on excursions or school field trips, and yes, she does socialize and go out – her bubbly effervescence and caring nature makes her popular in and out of her social circle – but she was not excessive about it. She was the type that would hang out but be back home by curfew time, juggling her effort in school, family, friends, and ECAs. As far as we’re concerned, she’s your average young woman that never took it too far.

She always see the best in people, be they misunderstood or criminally insane. She doesn’t like to admit this to anyone, but she always thinks that whoever the so-called heroes are to the antagonistic villains are just as bad as the villains themselves. Fighting, punishment, war, these are inevitable, but who gets to decide what happens is morally questionable to Gretchen. She fights for a form of equality and peace, where once the dust clears, everyone is their own people. Yet with the way things are in the world, there really isn’t a Winner or a Loser, just survivors. A consequentialist at heart, she will make an effort to do things not by the numbers but by what’s right.

She understands the harsh truth that sometimes a utilitarian take has to be made, but she will stand up for justice. After all, without fairness, what are we?

History:

Nothing terrible ever really happened to Gretchen’s life. How can it, when she’s only 22? Sure, most kids would have started rebelling by the age of 14, but Gretchen at 14 was just a little quirky shy kid who never went out of the line but never kept quiet either. That was also when she started to sprout into the gorgeous being that she is now, and when she started to branch out more as she grew confident with what she could do – now taller and bigger, she could do things with a commanding presence, and now prettier and outspoken, she could relate to people and the world as she spoke and learned more about how the world appeared and how it could be.

One could say that the change happened overnight, that two people swapped lives, just like that. But those that stuck around her knew that it was the same girl, that same one that spoke of ideals of a utopia where there was no evil. It was wishful thinking, she knew, but it was the driving force that motivated her to pursue a position in society where she could do good to everyone. Gretchen took her massive change in look not as a blessing, but as a sign that anything is possible. The people are waiting for a good life, and she wants to give it to them.

She did well in her studies, and she managed to enter higher education in the University of Fortitude City. As a philosophy and politics double major, she was a shoo-in for success in her goals. It was also here when the manifestation of her abilities started, when she noticed her lack of pain from camera flashes or even looking directly at the Sun. When she wasn’t careful one day in dorm room, gesturing a gun with her hand, and her corkboard set on fire, that’s when she knew she was gifted with magic.

She wondered the potential use of her new skills, but feared the discovery of them in the wrong hands. Still, she could not waste this opportunity to help out with fighting crime – great power begets great responsibility.

Gretchen is a vigilante in the making and she was proud of what she’d become, and hopeful of what more she could do.

Gretchen has the ability to manipulate light. The extent of power and control over the electromagnetic radiation is currently unexplored and untapped. The efficacy and power of her abilities are determined by how augmented or depowered Gretchen is in the presence of light – the dimmer, the weaker; the brighter, the stronger. The Sun is her best friend, but any source of light will work. She does not drain them, but simply is empowered by it – like a plant, you may say.

As of now, Gretchen can create and project beams made of light/photons and can control the intensity of the beam for harmless, concussive, or deadly burning effects. It may be capable of piercing virtually anything they come in contact with and have explosive properties, and may, at ablated surface, leave residual plasma.

After each beam, a rainbow trail is left behind that fades over time. The spectral dissociation of light is collocated with her abilities.

Skills:

With her acumen in politics and philosophy, she displays great empathy in interpersonal relationships and shows great decision-making skills from her ability to assess different points of view critically. She’s a good conciliator in social and public affairs, and makes an oratorical leader and visionary.

Her youthful and active age and natural fitness makes her spry and agile even in her tall frame. This may be to do with her being empowered under the Sun.

Tapping into the deep foundations of meaning in earlier scholar works required learning various olden, even extinct languages. One could she was a functional multilingual, but only textually at best. Similarly, she has an affinity and predilection for history and culture, showing great sociological observation.

Jackson, what an average looking man he is. His facial features are average, if not somewhat British looking. His eyes are a dark grey blue and his hair is black. He stands at about Five foot nine feet tall with long limbs and a sickly looking thin figure, giving him a gangly look despite not being all that tall.

Jackson's usual clothing style could be described as "Like someone threw an apocalypse survivor and a poorly dressed nerd into a blender", the reasoning behind this mostly files down to one simply article he wears near constantly; his gasmask. Yes, Jackson is that sort of person. The mask he wears is, quite specifically, an old Russian model GP-5 from the early 90's he found in an antique shop.

Paired with the gasmask his attire mostly consists of a black peacoat style Jacket, a grey hoodie with a large brooding hood that Jackson prefers to leave up, a large military looking satchel, and casual under clothes such as t-shirts, jeans, Chuck Taylor converse shoes, and black fingerless gloves.

Personality:
Jackson isn't a cold person, he's simply awkward, shy, and completely mentally broken. You see, there's this thing that happens when people you care for die and it is completely your fault. And that thing is called depression, and Jackson sure as hell has it.

When in social situations Jack often comes across as cold and quiet, opening up only to people he knows he can put his trust in. Though this is an extremely rare event, as Jackson's trust issues are rooted childhood deep and keep being reaffirmed.

The man is actually very empathic towards others, and feels quite a lot when it comes to other people. But he doesn't know how to express himself anymore and simply chooses to remain stoic.

His empathy is somewhat of a weakness of his, as any harm he inflicts upon his fellow man will come to haunt him. Jackson's mental state is very likely to degrade during the course of this roleplay.

History:
Jackson was born to unloving, narcissistic parents in a barely above middle class home. His father was an abusive alcoholic sadist who enjoyed taking his anger out upon his poor wife and son. His mother was the ideal fifties housewife, always doting around her husband and cleaning the house. However, she was also one to take out her anger, and from the poor treatment of her husband she had a lot to take out. Jackson was routinely beaten by both of his parents and treated as nothing more than a burden.

His grades were good but never good enough for his drunken father and stressed out mother. His friends were non-existent due to his inability to function properly in any social situations. He was bullied commonly for his short stature and general weakness during his highschool years. All in all life was an absolute hell.

And so when he graduated he left home as fast as he could, taking all of his savings and running away. Jackson moved into a shitty apartment near the ghetto and began to look desperately for a job. All the while he was still attempting to go to community college as he wished to gain a degree in computing.

And that was where he met her, the girl named Victoria. She had long flowing red hair and intelligence to spare. To Jackson, she was the most beautiful girl in the world. His attempts to get to know her finally managed to break the man out of his shell. It would take years but eventually the two would marry, both still working on their degrees.

Naturally, the parents of Jack were uninvited.

And then, like a flash, it was over. No more happy marriage, no more smiles, no more nothing. And it was all Jackson's fault. He could have let her drive, he could have not hit up the bars that day, he could have not followed in his fathers footsteps.

She could have lived.

Jackson soon fell into a great depression, closing himself off once more. He dropped out of college, he began to buy things left and right with what little money he had, he started smoking and drinking every day. Anything to distract himself from his sadness.

But it wasn't enough.

There was only him now, and the edge of the rooftop he stood upon. Nothing more, nothing less. Only the void awaited and he embraced it with open arms.

The next second, he was standing there on the sidewalk, rain running down the glass of his mask. Jackson was staring at his own body, mangled and dead. A crowd had begun to form. He didn't know if he was alive or dead, only that he was still standing there.

He ran.

Optional Information

Equipment: Jackson carries on him at all times a rusty, old, taped together axe. He found this pile of garbage on a stick fireaxe in the building he used to have his apartment in. After he realized that they were likely going to clear the place out soon on account of him being dead he felt it a good idea to return one last time and take some of his stuff with him. On his way out he also felt it a good idea to take the axe he always felt would looking cool on his wall.
Jackson also carries several other items of intrigue (Not including his Mask) on him at most times. These items include:
1X Set of keys that are perfectly shaped to put between the fingers and to punch people with.
2X Lighters, as Jackson often smokes (A habit he picked up after the car crash).
1X Pack of Cigarettes at all times.
2X Bottles of something to drink, not usually alcoholic.
7X Packs of something to eat, his whole life is in his satchel.

Faction:
One cannot run from their fears for all of time. And Jackson's fears were infinite.

As he ran and ran from everything, sleeping on the street and doing whatever it took for him to survive, it became increasingly obvious to the powers that be a dead man was walking. A man who had jumped off a building and gone splat was currently wandering around the city living on the street. A man whose belongings had disintegrated as soon as he was touched by the coroner.

Something was up.

And so a Sector agent staked out the bench that Jackson most commonly slept on, approached him, and promptly brought him in for questioning. Being the broken man he was Jack answered every question truthfully, not really caring what would happen next. After all, why would he?

They offered him a deal; prove he wasn't a threat to the public and aid in the efforts of Sector or be imprisoned for the rest of eternity. They needed his power, even if it was dangerous.

His answer was a sigh and a solemn yes.

Marital Status: Poor old Jack is a widower, his wife having died in a car crash some years before.

Magic:
Jackson is immortal, plain and simple. You kill him? He falls to the ground dead for a few seconds before coming in from the door behind you to give you a very stern talking to.

He gained this power after his encounter with a shard of Dúv during a trip to an antique shop. It was there upon a table in the centre like some sort of bait in a trap. Jack touched it, and it disintegrated. He wrote it off as being his imagination, as he had not been in the best mental state at the time. But it had most definitely been real.

The power works by having him wake up in the next room to wherever he died. It is comparable to a respawn in multiplayer video games. When Jackson awakens he does so with any and all equipment that was upon him before his kicking of the bucket. A copy of his body will remain at the site where he died, however any attempt to take items off of his deceased cadaver will result in the items in question disintegrating into a fine ashen substance.

Jackson views this ability as quite the inconvenience. It bothers the poor sap to no end.

Skills:
This, my dear friends, is what Jackson lacks.
The man is average in every way down in this section. Blame it on him not caring that much for his body blame it on the writer having to balance fucking immortality, it's the truth.

Jackson can lift an average amount of weight but nothing more. Jackson can run an average speed and nothing more. Jackson can't take anymore bullets than an average man, nor can he dodge a shotgun blast.

The only thing in here he might be a bit above average in is his intelligence, but your intelligence isn't going to save you when you're surrounded by five men armed with Kalashnikov's in a realistic world.

However, due to his great inability with most things combined with his power Jackson has been forced to come up with a very... unique way of fighting. He will throw himself into a fight with reckless abandon over, and over, and over, and over, and over again until every last enemy of his is down on the floor bleeding.

Jackson is not a fighter, but a force of nature.

Personality:
Dakota's presence is one noticed when it enters a room. She's bold, crass, and not any model of a 'lady'. She carries herself with the confidence of someone twice her size and follows through with it. She's exceptionally blunt, refusing to beat around the bush and saying exactly what she means, however rude or uncouth it needs to be to get the point across. She's got a dirty sense of humour and an occasional raunchy accent to match (think a New Yorker who's lost most of their accent) and isn't afraid to be a little hard and rough. 'Tough love' is a common concept for her.

On the negative side, Dakota isn't vulnerable to most insults or taunts, simply laughing and rolling with the punches. In her own words, if you call yourself worse things than they call you, then they can't hurt you. One thing that does burn her short fuse, however, is a superiority complex. She absolutely cannot stand people who think they're better than anyone else, or even openly belittle others. This is essentially the only peeve of hers that will undoubtedly send heads rolling.

"Believe it or not, she actually cleans up nicely"

The thing that stands out most about Annika is here intensely pale green eyes. The deep green ring around the outside of her iris gives them an other worldly quality that some find a bit unnerving.
Once you get past that her features are almost comforting. Her high cheekbones and defined jaw are padded enough to give her face a soft look and when she smiles the warmth quells the intensity in her eyes.

Her sturdy frame stretches 5’9” and her limbs are considered lanky even for such height. If extremely active woman ever had a ‘body image’ issue that would very well be it. In fact if she put time into it Annika could clean up into a bombshell. With such a busy schedule the doctor keeps her long brown hair pulled back and out of the way and is almost always in scrubs. Makeup takes too much time and is in her opinion quite pointless she has the same feelings about Fashion.
As such when she isn't at the hospital she is in active wear, though she does have a single black dress that is dusted off for functions she is forced to attend.

Annika is very closed off in a non professional setting. While she is at work she can perfectly pull off the caring bedside manner expected of her as a doctor and she is always respectful of her fellow staff. That sadly is the end of it. She keeps things courteous and short, she has no interest in forming personal relationships with people.
The drive for efficiency has taken a strong hold in her life and everything from her apartment to her car reflects this. Everything is put in it’s place immediately after use, nothing is out of place, everything runs smoothly. In short she is a bit of a control freak. This however is a fairly common trait among successful surgeons, in order for a surgery everything must be controlled or the patient could easily die from a number of infections even after they have left the operating room. This type of strict protocol has helped Annika control and in some ways eliminate her emotions completely.

As a small child Annika was found wandering around in the woods outside of her remote village of Bystrom. She was perfectly fit, but didn't speak until over a year after she was taken in. All through her childhood she was brutalized and teased as she was a "Changeling". A child of faeries, demons, trolls or whatever nasty creature name they wanted to scream at her as they kicked her. She took the beatings without ever fighting back because with some effort she could just heal herself. This lead to heavier beatings and eventually she stopped healing. This caused the beatings to stop, the bruises and bandages were satisfaction enough. Thankfully the children grew tired of beating her and just took to ignoring her or yelling insults at her. The loneliness was a relief at that point.

As far as Annika her history began the day that she left her home to attend college. While she didn’t hate her quaint village of origin, what happened there was best forgotten. Here she fabricated a new life story for herself and kept her nose slammed into the books for the next four years. That paid off landing her in the best medical school in her country, where she kept to herself and her studies again. Finding that social interactions with her peers was difficult and she felt that outside of study groups socializing served no purpose in trying to achieve her goal. This approach paid off and after giving her valedictorian speech she took her folder of recommendation letters and headed to the most coveted Surgical internship/Residency in the country.

As with all interns this meant long hours, sleepless nights and even more studying to stay on top of the others. Annika had no qualms with things playing out like this, she infact had come to prefer her solitude outside of work. This all changed with Sarah a transfer in the second year. She had all the skill and knowledge that Annika did but her personality was polar opposite. Always bubbling and social Sarah’s personality grated at the dedicated woman. This however never registered with her as Sarah seemed to gravitate to Annika. Through much persistence on Sarah’s part her walls broke down.

The two became an inseparable team in all aspects of their life. As well as the envy and bane of many. No one expected the bubbly beautiful redhead to take to the Icy Annika but the two were a perfect balance together. They were united in their dedication to their work and their utter devotion to each other. She felt normal and for a while forgot completely about what she really was.

On the night of Annika’s 30th birthday, when the pair were particularly drunk on wine, Sarah tripped breaking her fall with her wine glass in her right hand. Compelled by the hysterical cries of her lover about a surgery the next day Annika carefully drew the glass from the wound. Deep cuts covered Sarah’s palm and it would definitely put her out of work for sometime. Taking her partner’s hand and a deep breath Annika took down a wall letting out the thing she tried so hard to hide.
The blood stopped and the hand had neatly pulled itself back together as if nothing had happened. Fearfully Annika looked to Sarah who looked utterly shocked. The longest moments of her life passed before a Sarah smiled and laughed.

“Now I know why you are always better in surgery than me.”

Some walls aren't meant to be torn down.

1.5 years later

Ignorance breeds hate, hate breeds violence, and that violence was staring down Annika and Sarah. The man hadn't taken too well to having been 'exposed to their kind' at the bar that night and he was probably mentally disturbed but none of that mattered in the moment. The knife had been met with her side as she shielded Sarah and that’s when it happened.
With light there is darkness, and it tore through the man like a rabid animal.

“Oh my God!”
“Sarah, I-”
“No! S-stay back murderous monster!”


Sarah left, disappeared off the map almost. There wasn't much for the police to investigate, not that Annika stuck around that long. She left the country and landed a job at the best hospital in Fortitude City mostly thanks to her astonishing ‘no death’ record from her surgical residency. Alongside of work she spends many nights trying to test out and find the depth of her innate abilities she had kept long locked away. Unfortunately the deeper she delves the more Sarah’s words feel true.

Personality: Unit S-01 is known for her relaxed nature. She takes care of things in her own time and generally prefers to avoid the concept that is an obligation. Despite being treated as an it, she is understanding and takes insult and ridicule with her rather unsettling smile. These games can get fairly dangerous for any involved in a few circumstances a death or two needed to be redacted.

History: S-01 is the only unit produced in a rather unethical project that combined the growing technological advances and the idea of Genetic advancement.This project was based around the idea of a new class of humans that could exist in the dead zones.Though headway was being made with the scrubbing, the possibilities such an advancement could make would stand to increase profit margins based solely on the research.

Before her body could even be called that they where guiding her growth, ensuring that her body would develop into a prime specimen. However it was when her brain began to form that their true work would start, they essentially tripled the capacity of her minds processing ability. This would increase her intelligence but it was primary purpose was to allow for additional functions the normal man did not have.

The "Birth" of S-01 was a day that left many in the higher circles with raised brows. Her childhood was spent in a hidden facility that documented every second of every moment of her life. As she grew older the aforementioned upgrades where installed, each one of them would have likely driven a person insane, by the time they would finish she would have four.

Upon the installation of "The wings of Icarus" she was considered mission ready and they started her out in

It was when she turned 22 that she was let loose by a man that had a rather simplistic moral compass, and a rather small IQ for how high up in the ladder he was. Meaning he allowed her to both her emotions and free will back.Her abilities and her skill have made her evade any attempts of recapture.

Over the last four years their attempts have become burned off as it was now considered bad for business for them to send out so many teams just to comeback empty handed. Not only was she avoiding capture she became something of a vigilante, perhaps an echo of her initial objective of improving the condition of man. This also points out her altruistic nature as she has done nothing to even indicate any vengeful or even hostile action towards her creators.

Equipment:
While not technical equipment she does have significant enhancements that came from outside sources.

Her spinal column has been all but replaced, from this hub she generates a bio-electric current that powers almost all of her more complex workings. It also allows her to use the aforementioned workings with thought eliminating the need of a selective thought. (In a easier way to explain, her abilities are treated as reaction and natural making it far faster than one that would require thought)

The Forge: Mounted to her spine is a special system that is essentially the hub for her wings and flight systems (Such as the AESA). Within it is a compact fission reactor, more importantly this links all of the systems together in one centralized point.

The wings of Icarus: or the Uz-009 is a flight system that uses a simple concept in a grandiose fashion. When in use they generate their own magnetic fields, repelling from each other and the surface of the earth. After the initial launch it turns into a rather elegant display of falling. The wings become self sufficient while air born using its own magnetic flux to generate the energy required for the constant changes in the fields of both the earth and itself.

Midas touch: While their workings are rather complex they have a simple purpose generate quick burst of force, intended for clearing away wreckage and rock, she uses them to achieve speeds that come close to mach 2. In addition she uses them as combat weapon, but its effectiveness and range is reduced without the constant power of the wings of Icarus.

Golden fleece: As mentioned she flies at speeds that one could not survive without a form of protection, her body generates a barrier that prevents her from being torn apart at the extreme speeds in addition it prevents her from most normal means of damage which coincides with her primary purpose. This is made possible by an synthetic organ that was implanted within her its location is -Redacted- but does nothing unless the Icarus system is engaged. The short coming to such a shielding system comes in the fact it is based off of set information, what it can block it can what it cant it cant.



Within her skeletal structure are various points that have been replaced with a synthetic substitute that can withstand the forces that are exerted from her own abilities, but this is primarily joints and smaller bones, such as fingers and toes.

Magic: Has shown no signs of having magical ability, but she is not one to talk about herself.

Skills:
Cheat:Gambling doesn't really apply when your reaction time is heightened to the point you can make a decision at mach 1, meaning machines intended for chance are more or less guaranteed to end in your favor.

Unshaken:While most don't view of this as a skill, she doesn't waver at the strongest of foes, the cruelest of insults, nor the brutality of her adversary. She feels anger but it does not dictate her response, sadness doesn't prevent her action...Despite her best efforts she is almost machine.

Collapsing equipment: Her wings can collapse into what almost looks like a jet pack, and her hand of Midas doesn't radiate light unless her wings are exposed. While some don't understand that this is a skill, her level head allows her to control her mental reactions preventing her from standing out anymore than she already does.

Alice stands at 5'7", with long dark brown hair that is most frequently put up in a high ponytail. She has intense dark brown eyes with bright white speckles (a side effect from the genetic modifications) that are framed by thick dark lashes. Although her eyes are not abnormally large, they dwarf her other facial features, simply due to her seemingly unwavering gaze and unique eye color. She has a small crooked nose, a result of having it broken one too many times and her lips p are lump but pale, only a few shades darker than the rest of her face. She has tanned skin from regularly being in the sun and a defined, muscular frame. Alice prides herself in her strength and agility from the decades spent training, and this can be witnessed by the shape of her body. There are also years worth of scars that decorate her skin: a large burnt mark on the right side of her lower back, a long thick scar akin to a sword wound from the side of her left breast and curving down to her left hip, as well as multiple knife and gun wounds littered throughout.

Alice is almost always (unless working out) in a custom made body suit. It covers her from collarbone to wrists to ankles. It is made of a single layer of graphene, and is virtually indestructible. This however, does not make her invulnerable whatsoever, because although the suit itself is 100x stronger than steel, it is also flexible, meaning that Alice can still be shot/stabbed/bruised and while the graphene itself will not break, the skin underneath it can. It fits her like a second skin and is very, very thin, allowing her the flexibility to move around without being hindered, and is also almost see-through.
Above this, Alice wears whatever she likes that is comfortable enough to move in, ranging from tank tops to jeggings. She does, however, have a pair of metallic cuffs around her forearms and shincovers that are made of graphene alloy that she never takes off, unless to polish.

As for accessories, Alice has a pair of sunglasses that she wears during the day and a small, discreet titanium ring around the forth finger of her left hand, with the initials C.H. engraved on the inside. She is also almost always in steel-toed combat boots.

Personality:
Alice is whoever you want her to be; she can go from seductive lover to sadistic assassin, she can play the homeless lady with bipolar disorder perfectly, and then the heiress to a Fortune 500 company with the snap of her fingers. She is loving daughter, playful sister, enthusiastic lover, depraved wife, grieving widow, heartless body guard, all at once, and more.
Who she really is though, it appears as though Alice herself doesn't even really know anymore. The one things she knows is for real? Are her abilities, her body, and her family. And that is all that matters.

History:
Lucracidy is one of the most influential and famous genetic modification companies in the world. They manufacture everything from hair color to metamorphisis. Throughout their history, they have definitely come under scrutiny more times than should be legal, rumours of unethical human and animal experiments, unrestraint genetic testing, etc., but because the governments of the world need their products for their army and protective forces, Lucracidy is more or less left alone to do what they want to. Although their methods may not be conventional, they are also the forefront pioneers in human modifications.

Alice is the second daughter of Steve Lucreates, great-grandson of the founder of Lucracidy. She is one of 7 children, and has 5 brothers and a sister. In every generation of Lucreates, a child is chosen to be the protector of the family, their roles are unnamed, but so flushed out that Alice fate was sealed the moment she was conceived. The best of her parents' genetic DNA were altered so that the characteristics they chose would be expressed. From the moment she hit 6 months old, Alice was swept up into a world of constant training, fighting, learning and missions that would have been virtually impossible for a person not groomed into the role from the beginning. The second she was out of her mother's womb, she was injected with a chemical to increase the speed of neurogenesis and synaptogenesis as well as slow down the inevitable pruning of a child's plastic brain. She learned to walk, talk and do arithmetic before children her age even mastered 5-word sentences. Furthermore, she has the added ability for muscle regeneration and her eyes have been altered to give her scope and night vision whenever needed. Both of which come with a price. Because of the stress and toll that these modifications deal on to her human body, Alice will not live pass the age of 45, and she will be completely blind by the end of it. In all intents and purposes, Alice was made to kill and serve.

However, that was not the way the Lucreates treated her. To them, she was still their daughter. To her siblings, she was not similar to them, but she was still one of them. Her father is an extremely intelligent, aware and stern man; and her mother was warm, loving, but also strict. She grew up in a loving household, and this only further fuelled her desired to train herself to perfection, because she knew it was up to her to protect her family in any event. She understood and embodied the importance of her role, and relished in it. She has saved the lives of her siblings and parents more than once throughout the two decades she practised being their protector, and this was reward enough.

Now, at 36 years old and with the next generation's protector already on the way, Alice is in the process of trying to figure out where she should go from here. Her years of experience has made her more formidable than ever, but she also knows that she has about 4 more years of this peak performance before she would have to completely retire. The side effects will come hard and fast and the moment it starts, she knows that she will be virtually useless.

Equipment:
Alice has an extremely large weapon-base of which to choose from. Depending on the mission type and her end goal, she is equally skilled at snipers as she is with nunchucks. She does however, have a few hidden silver throwing knives and a small Magnum on her body on all times, easily concealable.

Her weapon of choice, strangely enough, is knife extension that she can clip onto her forearm guards that slides in place with a push of a button when needed.

Skills:
Alice is a sharpshooter and is capable of using projectiles from self-fashioned wooden bows to bazookas. Her most preferred form of engagement is close-range combat, using her wrist-blade and daggers.
As mentioned above, she also has scope and night vision, as well as regenerative muscles.

Dog:

Killer is a German Shepard-Wolf Hybrid, bred in a very similar fashion as Alice. He was artificially conceived, and genetically altered for the properties that every intelligent, fierce and strong companion should have. Killer has the life span of about 35 years, meaning he too is approaching the end of his life. He was given to Alice when she was 10 years old, fresh out of his mothers' new batch of puppies. They have been together every day since then and their bond is stronger than any human-to-human bond could be. Alice and Killer are an intense pair. Killer is about 115 pounds and his head comes up to her hip when he is on all fours. Virtually a giant, Killer serves to intimidate as well as deliver killing blows (hence the name) when Alice is otherwise occupied.
