Meanwhile, in a large clearing located far away from the guild, accompanied by Drax, Leon and Inigo are going through what may seem to anyone else a rather intense training session. However, for these two, it's rather commonplace. Neither of them has shown a sign of weakness, nor have broken into a sweat. "As usual, we're evenly matched in terms of using physical strength alone. However, those eyes of yours always keep you one step ahead of me, don't they?" Inigo states mid-charge before performing a leaping strike on his uncle, who counters with his own blade, the force of the impact almost making him falter. However, Leon quickly forces him off, retreating a few paces. "That may be true, but you know fully well the limit of my magic." He responds to his nephew's earlier remark before launching a volley of black flames at Inigo. Despite the rumors, Inigo knew better than anyone else that his uncle's fireballs were anything but an illusion. The only thing fake about them would have to be their properties. Ergo, Drax, if he was able to keep up with all of the action, may be puzzled by Inigo's next move. Instead of making an attempt to dodge this flurry of flames, the boy instead swaps his current silver sword for a black one, and slashes at a few of the approaching projectiles. As they come into contact with the blade, they appear to be absorbed by it, giving it an aura of darkness that seems to burn brighter with each fireball taken in.

Aria flapped her wings and dove through rows of trees in the forest outside of town. To anyone on the ground she knew that she would look like a normal raven, but that went the same for any of the local wild carnivorous animals. Therefore she kept a close eye on her surroundings to look out for any predators. As she flew over a house she noticed what appeared to be a lady trying to coax something down from a tree in her yard. Aria fluttered down onto another nearby tree to try to figure out exactly what was going on. She shook her head in amusement when she saw that the creature was a house cat. Those silly cats always figured out some way to get into trouble.

The woman down below was holding a broom, poking it upwards at the tree, trying to get the cat down. The cat appeared to be asleep... or ignoring the old lady down below. "Come down here Chococat! You've been up there all night, and it's time you come down! You're going to starve yourself up there if you don't!" the older lady called up at the cat. The cat them stretched itself a little bit, before standing up and patrolling a little bit on the branches. "Fine, have at it then. I sent out a quest the day yesterday, and they should be here any moment now. You don't want to embarrass yourself do you?" the woman tried one last thing. The cat seemed to roll her eyes, as if she understood the woman below, before turning to look over at you. She tilted her head a little bit, as if knowing you were not a normal bird.

The cat finally climbed down, stretching at the bottom of the tree as her owner knelt down to pat her on the head. "Good girl. Now don't do that again, or I'll have to throw you in the pot for your disrespect." the lady said. The cat seemed to roll its eyes again, before walking up towards the house and jumping into a windowsill over top of flowerbeds below.

[Kassy]
"Righty ho, the kittens here we go!" Kassy said, leaping into the air and bolting for the door. She lead the way, letting the others follow behind her as she knew the way to go. "I live near the bread store, so I think I may have seen the house before." she said. "Though, I don't think I've met the owner of the cat before... there's a few cats in our neighborhood, but I'm sure it should be easy to find." Kassy said as she continued onward.

Upon nearing the destination, Kassy saw an old lady bashing an old rug in with a broom she held in her hands, trying to get the dust and dirt off of it. "That must be it, but where's the cat?" Kassy said to the others, walking closer. Once she was at the house, she stood under the tree and looked up, trying to spot the cat.

"Can I help you?" the old lady asked, setting down her broom and walking over. "Um, yes miss. We're looking for a cat stuck in a-" she started, but the old lady held up her hand. "Bah bah bah!" she said, "Stop right there. I sent out that quest yesterday, and you just now show up?" the woman asked, looking at the three women. "And there's three of you?" she asked. She threw her head backwards and let out a witch of a laugh, before calming back down. "Three young ladies, to get a cat out of a tree! What do you think you're doing here? So late too! Pfft, go back home, I don't need you anymore." the woman said, waving her hands at them and turning back to her rug. The cat resting in the windowsill jumped out from where she was resting, and walked up to Sylvia, before sitting an staring up at her. "Oh, leave her alone you old cat. They can't help us." the lady yelled over at the cat as the old lady lifted the rug up to start carrying it inside.

Kassy started feeling bad now, now that they were late and useless to help. It wasn't their fault they didn't notice the quest was set out the day before... but she felt she should have looked at the board the other day and picked it out then. She plopped herself down under the tree, "Now what do we do?" Kassy said, looking up at Paige for help.

Cilia finished her story with a flourish as she grinned as people clapped. Soon the crowd around her dissapated and there she leaned against the bar.

"Righty ho, the kittens here we go! I live near the bread store, so I think I may have seen the house before." Kassy said. "Though, I don't think I've met the owner of the cat before... there's a few cats in our neighborhood, but I'm sure it should be easy to find," Kassy said as she lead the group. Once they arrived at their destination, Paige saw an old lady smacking a rug with her broom, attempting to rid it of its filth.

"Can I help you?" the old lady asked, setting down her broom and walking over to them. Once Kassy explained they were from Fairy Tail, the lady cackled in laughter "Bah bah bah! Stop right there. I sent out that quest yesterday, and you just now show up?" the woman asked, looking at the three girls women. "And there's three of you?" she asked. She threw her head backwards and let out a witch of a laugh, before calming back down. "Three young ladies, to get a cat out of a tree! What do you think you're doing here? So late too! Pfft, go back home, I don't need you anymore,"

Paige gasped in bewilderment and shock. She dare insult them? The ancient jerk had a lot to learn before smack talking about wizards. Couldn't she be grateful they came to rescue her cat, which didn't even need to be saved! It took every nerve in Page's body to not send a whirlwind at the lady. Gosh! Some people!! Fighting a helpless old lady wouldn't solve anyone's problem though, sometimes destruction wasn't the answer. Plus, Paige would never feel right hurting an elderly woman. Paige was just about to storm off, when the old lady's cat jumped from the windowsill jumped up toward Slyvia. She raised her eyebrow and stared at the little cat's eyes glued on Slyvia. It was almost like the cat could understand what everyone was saying. Shrugging it off, Paige faced Kassy.

"Now what do we do?" Kassy said, looking up at Paige for help.

"Don't worry about a thing, Kassy! Things like this happen all the time. Trust me, I've had people do crazier things, of course they didn't wake up to see the sun rise, it's best to just move on and search for the next job," She gave Kassy a quick hug "don't sweat on this one too much, you didn't do anything wrong," Paige smiled, hoping Kassy wouldn't be to upset about the incident.

Sylvia stared at the cat that now sat at her feet. Sylvia always enjoyed the presence of animals, more specifically, cats. Sylvia didn't know why, but for some reason she felt as though the tiger was something like a spirit animal to her. So, she tentatively reached out a pet the cat. As she pet the soft fur on the cat's back, Sylvia listened to the two's conversation. She already could tell that this mission would be a flop. After all, cats eventually come down, they just need a little persuasion. Paige did her best to console Kassy, but in Sylvia's opinion, there was nothing to be disappointed about. After all the cat got out in the end. Sylvia then looked down at the cat she was stroking. 'You're actually kind of a piece of shit.' Sylvia thought to herself. 'But that's kinda why I like you.' Sylvia couldn't help but grin at the thought.

Hearing the sound of applause, Morgan looks toward the source and sees Cilia standing before a now scattered crowd. Interested in what sort of news she had shared with them, she heads toward the bar and walks up to Cilia, smiling like always. "Hehe, seems like someone was telling a pretty good story. Then again, when aren't they good?" Morgan compliments her, deciding this to be the best way to start off a conversation.

Aria flew down from the branch she was in, unnerved by the cat's piercing stare. She landed by the animal qnd the person petting it, the guild member. She didn't recognize her though. Though, it's been a few years now, she reminded herself. She probably wouldnt know many of the guild members today, if any. Aria walked up to the cat, noticing it didnt seem quite normal either. The old lady was speaking to it as if it understood her. Could it be an intelligent animal? Or could it be some sort shape shifter like her? She discarded that idea though, she doubted that a shapeshifter would actually manage to get itself stuck in a tree.

Kassy smiled back at Paige after she had assured her it wasn't her fault. She stood up as Paige hugged her to make sure shewasn't upset. "Thanks, it means a lot." she started to feel better. "We just tried to help, that's what counts I guess."

The cat rubbing up against Sylvia then turned to look at her owner just then entering through the door, giving her a dirty look. The lady stopped and saw the stare, trying to give the same stare back... but to no avail. "Oh stop that! I already said three young ladies. What do you think they could do? What? What do you mean by one of this has 'Sky Dragon Slayer Magic'?" the lady said from the doorway, standing there and trying to look over everyone to figure out who it is. The cat looked over at Paige, then back at the old lady. "Her? So? We're not looking for potential- do you really think they could do it?" she said, standing in the doorway still. She quickly grabbed the rug and walked into the dark house where no one could see her anymore, before reappearing in the doorway without the rug. She looked at everyone, including the polymorphed bird, she apparently could tell, and gestured them all in. "Come on, what are you waiting for." she moaned, reaching her hand towards her broom and having it fly into her hand from across the yard. The cat jumped across the yard after her, disappearing into the dark house....

Paige sniffed when an unfamiliar scent filled the air. Glancing around, she caught sight of a Raven, only the smell was nothing of a Raven. Hm? That's sure strange... While dwelling about the bird, Paige's attention was turned when the only lady mentioned her magic. The cat had crawled to the woman, and the two were... having a conversation? The day just kept getting weirder.

The lady grabbed the rug and disappeared before quickly reappearing, looking at all of her companions, including the polymorphed bird. "Come on, what are you waiting for," she moaned, holding her hand out for the broom. Paige was beginning to think the lady was too lazy to grab it when it flew right to her hand. She can do magic?! Why did she need help getting a cat down from a tree?! No... Something fishy is going on. Paige held out her hand in front of Kassy and took the lead.

"Be careful, something feels off," Paige whispered to her friends before following the old lady. While something about the situation was definitely wrong, Paige wasn't one to deny adventure. Of course she would follow the lady! Where would the fun be in staying back?

Aria watched the strange scene play out in front of her with bewilderment. Bizarre turn of events, she thought to herself. Noting that at least the old lady and cat definitely knew what she was at this point, she hopped across the yard to follow them. After all, she knew how to handle herself if the situation turned bad.

After the old lady's exchange with the cat, Sylvia began to grow suspicious. Not to mention that weird bird seemed to be in on this too. Plus the old lady could do magic? Sylvia couldn't help but wonder, What's wrong with these people?

"Be careful, something feels off," Paige whispered to her friends before following the old lady.

"No shit Sherlock," Sylvia rolled her eyes, following her adventure seeking friend. Whatever this would lead to, it would be a good test to see how well her training has paid off. Speaking of training, maybe she should find someone to help with training next time.

-Back at the guild hall-

"...I wanted to go too...you should have let me ask."Terra pouted.

"Why?" Ander questioned, leaning aback in a chair with his hadns behind his head and eyes closed, "It was just a request to get a cat out of a tree. It hardly takes much effort for one regular person, much less a mage. And three of them went! Besides, there's probably a better quest up there anyway." There was was a moment of silence before he opened one of his eyes a little to see Terra poking her two index fingers together... still pouting. "...You just wanted to go so that you could see the cat, didn't you?"

"Of coarse!" Terra exclaimed as she perked up.
"All right, lets go." Ander sighed as he got up and headed for the door with a giddy Terra behind him.

Dremmick watched as they left out the door as well and then thought out loud, "Something doesn't feel right. the others left a good bit ago. They should have been done with this and come back already."

Dremmick nodded and stood up, "Seems like a good idea to me." He left his mask shifted to the side out of the way of his right eye. To be more specific, his eye, eyebrow and area around it seemed to be the only thing unaffected by the curse and it was the only part of him that wasn't covered up by bandages. He then held the large door open, "After you," he said with what can be assumed to be a smile.

[Kassy]
"Be careful, something feels off," Paige whispered to her friends before following the old lady. "No shit Sherlock," Sylvia rolled her eyes, following after Paige. "It's alright, I know." Kassy said to Paige, trying to ignore Sylvia's lash at Paige. "Just be on our toes, we can handle anything that happens." she said as she followed behind into the house. As Kassy entered, it was very clear this old lady wasn't just any old lady. "Woah, look at this place. I think she can do a little more than just pulling her broom from a distance..." she said, looking around at everything.

The house was very dimly lit, the only sources of light coming in from the open door, and a few holes in some torn curtains. The foyer we entered into was very plain, much that of another house. There was a little rack off to the side, holding the broom from outside, and a few other things Kassy wasn't sure what they were. Off to the right was a small living room, with a couch, a big soft fluffy chair, and a tiny little T.V. that was really outdated looking. There were also big bookshelves, and small hanging shelves, all littered with various books, bottles filled with creepy things, and seemingly cheap magical items. Up ahead was another torn curtain, but instead of in front of a window, it was just covering what laid beyond.

Through the curtain's holes was a dim green glow, teasing as to what was just beyond. "I'm... really starting to not like this. I kind of want to just turn back... but, I also want to see what's next!" Kassy whispered to the other two. The old lady had already disappeared by the time the three of them had entered... and the little bird hopping behind them. "Come on, let's find out what's really going on." she said, walking past and pushing the curtain aside as she walked through.

After traveling a small hallway, Kassy reached the next curtain, and pushed it aside too, finding what was the cause of the green glow. The room was small, probably ten feet in diameter, with a giant iron cauldron big enough to hold Kassy, Paige, and Sylvia in with ease. Inside, a big bubbling green goop, steaming and growling. The walls seemed to have been transformed into shelves, all holding similar things found in the living room, but seemingly rarer and of more value. There also laid various tools around the cauldron, and resting on the shelves with the ingredients.

The old lady stood just a few feet from Kassy, watching as Kassy was busy taking in the room. "What's the matter, you act as if you've never seen magic before in your life." she chuckled, reaching up on a high shelf and pulling a bottle down. She quickly popped the lid off, plopped the item into the cauldron, and dropped the bottle back on the shelf. The green goop in the middle turned a bright yellow, starting to settle down and make less noise. The old lady then picked up a hat resting nearby, and plopped it on her head. It was a dark purple pointy hat, with a thick green line above the wide brim, a gray-colored spot near the top, and a baby-blue gem socketed in the center of the spot.

"Yes yes, I see the correlation now. That doesn't prove anything, you could have been spying on them for awhile now, and made this hat specifically for the occasion." the woman spoke to the cat as the cat came out from hiding behind the cauldron. The cat strutted towards the old lady, coming to a stop by her feet and sitting next to her. "Well... now that everyone is here... any questions?"

"Okay." Cilia said with a shrug. She guessed she could tell one story to Morgan one day. But she wasn't going to tell a long one. She stood up from her seat. "So what are we waiting for? Let's catch up to them before they leave us behind."
