<Snipped quote by Earnest Evans>
I missed an opportunity i had no chance to change because i was sleeping? Hows this my fault? Its not. I was sleeping after a terrible day, eager to reply to the posts tomorrow only to find everyone practically just jumped on ahead and are done with it. Quite frankly its a Quit-Trigger for me when players wont wait for other players to post. Its like other people have LIVES off the internet of something, terrible lives, but lives none the less
Don't get me wrong, I'm not faulting you for this, but you have to understand that not everybody can wait for everybody else. That's how good RPs die. Even a wait of twelve hours while all the other players are hyped and raring to go can result in sapped motivations! Can you find it in your heart to forgive three players who were too interested to wait until nightfall to continue the scene they're enjoying?
This exact situation has cropped up several times in the RP before. As a matter of fact, my character's very first interaction very nearly died because we were waiting for a character that took three days to bring out a post. First one player quit entirely, then another decided to lash out in boredom or something, then another flat-out disappeared off the face of the site, and eventually the other players simply stopped using their characters they built for this scene! Eventually, it was just me!
To be honest, I don't see the issue with a majority of players forcing the scene along in spite of the one or two players who haven't posted yet. It may be rude, yes, but it's not a faux pas worth anything but a light ribbing, and it's very easy to recover from.
Don't take me wrong, I don't intend to imply that you're a player like the ones that abandoned me in my first scene, but I can definitely see where the people who've moved the scene along past you are coming from. I guess the only advice I have for you is "Relax and get over it." Things will work themselves out if you just persevere!
