On with the adventure. I'm time and space-skipped us to the Deep Roads entrance, which is located in a forest two days inland from the southern Nevarran coast (see the map for details.) Feel free to have your characters comment on anything which may have happened in the last two days, but try to keep it brief if possible, we're looking to get on with the story at this point rather than reminiscing too much.
Martin needs three volunteers to head down the stone steps and into the tunnels first (see the illustration for an idea what the place looks like.) Whoever heads down, feel free to encounter some low-tier creatures in the darkness, but no Darkspawn. If there were any Darkspawn around then either Martin and Karras would know about it.
@WildCobraOn the other hand, if Karras is one of the volunteers then it's possible he may sense something, but any Darkspawn lingering in the tunnels will be keeping their distance for now, either respecting the Architect's peace accord or simply biding their time for an ambush later.

Darkspawn tainted Mabari found wandering in the Deep Roads perhaps? Might be useful to have a Grey Warden hound who can sense Darkspawn coming by your side. It'd be a little mean towards Martin and Karras though, so best keep it on a short leash.
Not caring for Gears, but excited for FO4.
