Kassimir Phoenix Wing - Guild Hall

After a bit Kass noticed a wizard he hadn't talked to yet. Jarvis had approached him and spoke for a bit before hurrying away.

He yawned and strolled over to this wizard to meet him. When he reached the mage he extended his hand and his face made that same, ever-so calm smile.

"Hey, I'm Kassimir. A little new. Are u doing any jobs soon? My magic isn't meant to be used alone."

He breathed evenly as if he lived with no worries whatsoever

Hunter smiled as Zephyr got back up and used his engine take over, waiting until the last moment before ducking. "Jade Dragon's Tail Sweep!" The stone appeared around both of his legs, but only one struck out, sweeping the speeding take over Wizard's legs out from under him. As he fell, up came Hunter's fist again, covered in Jade. "Jade Dragon's Steel Fist!" The blow collided with Zephyr's gut, sending the man flying backwards as Hunter inhaled deeply. "Jade Dragon's Roar!" The stream of swirling Jade particles soared towards Zephyr, threatening to end the match before it really began.

The time lord just smiled, ever so slightly and said "the magic council wouldn't be the best place for any normal child, but for her? It would crush whatever spirit remains to her, and then she would just be a council pawn. Which would be a terrible shame. The girl deserves a chance at happiness, we all do. And my magic can help her, as can you are your guild. Give her a family, and she won't go searching for the dead. As it happens, about the interviews, I'm going to have to post pone them. there's somewhere else I have to be, right now" and with that, the Time Lord was gone, walking out the guild hall, if anyone tried to follow him, they would find him mysteriously gone.

Blades came flooding through the air, daggers, small swords and arrows followed suit. Penny was stirring, opening her eyes just in time to see some coming for her. She held up a hand, and they al burst into flames, stopping their flight.

More came, as Penny rose, but none came near her. She narrowed her eyes, glancing about them, a flurry of snow all that she saw, but it was enough to indicate where one of them was.

She figured these Wizarda would be fairly easy to take down, and so she didn't take to the air, instead she decided to us the opportunity for some training. She concentrated, and something that looked close enough to a dagger to make no difference formed in her hands, flames. She didn't know how effective it might be, but she could see. There were flames packed so closely together within the middle of the small blade, and lighter packed along the outside, and she figured it might just work.

Until it fell apart, into a puddle of flames in the palm of her hands. She said, and then just dartwd forwards, towards where she had seen the spot, the dash of movement.

A dagger flew at her, and she raised a hand too slowly.

The dagger stopped in mid air, and Penny blinked, hesitantly reaching out, she plucked it out the air, looking about. Time lord stood there, tsking. "you should just be able to round them

"you have a communication Lacrima" jarvis pointed out, "telepathy is an easy thing to break into. A communication Lacrima isn't able to be broken into. It's safer, and with so many dark guilds and mages wishing to...destroy us, as well as any other light guold, it's essential to keep fuild talk private. But no matter. How did you get archive Magic?"

Hurk.

Damian moved to the side as the first flurry came out of the snow, silently kicking himself for provoking the dark wizards doing this. The next volley he blocked or deflected with Durandal before sheathing it and summoning his Hermes Blades. He moved faster, deflecting and dodging and the ones he couldn't do either with were intercepted by the single block Blade Shields he was summoning as they broke. He back flipped away and spotted one of the assailants, moving to engage them when suddenly everything stopped moving. But he recognized the voice. "Time Lord. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to see you again, and now I know we will. What brings you here?"

Taking his advice, Damian gets the now frozen trio of mages rounded up and tied up, setting them near the fire. He had no idea how Time Lord's magic worked, so he wasn't sure when they'd be able to move again. Satisfied with his work, he faces the Time Lord once more, waiting for his answer.




Joslyn smiled as Ammy gave Eve her guild mark on her hand, a shimmering white mark appearing on it. "For now, how about we focus on teaching the difference between causing people happiness and abusing your ability to raise the dead. First, you have to accept that that's what you do, is bring the dead, or those who are already gone, back to life. Hiding from it doesn't make it better, it makes you seem like you don't care. Can you do that for me, Eve?" This is what she'd done with Freddy and the simple act had taken weeks to get him to do, but when he finally did, he'd changed for the better and everything after was much easier.

Dragon Fang's Training Hall

Thinking his plan was a foolproof, it didn't click to him that dragon slayers have many tricks they can do. One being the tailswwep that knocked his feet out from under him and got a nice punch right to his gut which sent Zephyr flying backwards quite a bit. Luckily he had enough time to land on his feet and get out of the way of his roar attack. Zephyr rubbed his head as he looked at Hunter trying to think of something that he could exploit. Shrugging he revved his hands again and took off in a straight line towards Hunter, yet halfway through he changed his takeover over to his Echo one. That when Zephyr showed the dragon slayer his own roar, Zephyr's just wasn't as flashy and was more so shock waves he was sending flying at the dragon slayer. And noise, Zephyr's without a doubt made much more noise.

Gideon nodded but looked confused. Had he received a communication lacrima? Either way he patted his person and tried to remember if he had actually gotten one. "Ummm Master Jarvis I don't have one and I don't remember getting one. Do you have any others to spare? Either that or I can find a work around in the Archive magic. I believe I have discovered a secure communications line to other lacrima, but I still need to test it. Oh and I got this..." He held the necklace up and pointed to the orange and white lacrima that the silver dragon was holding "...from the woman that we took the job on for. Like I said the details about that one were strange but we got our payout easy enough. Listen about that job...you see there is this very power little girl that wields earth magic. She made the ground shake, created a golem of her father, the ground was even shaking miles from where the girl was located. There are questions about her mother that I can't seem to answer and Mithera I believe shares my suppositions. Something isn't quite right. The mother, Donna, said that her husband was killed by a dark guild that they were in but left on the prospects of having a child, Cat the little girl. Donna wouldn't tell us the whole truth about the bracelet to begin with and suddenly showed up at the end of our battle with the golem. I tried to get her to go stay with my father for protection or come here to the guild so the girl can be trained but she refused, yet Donna was worried that the Cat and her magic would be discovered and the dark guild would come after her. She disappeared on foot after we got out of the cave, but was at home when we arrived by the coach. She also says that she has little to no magic left so how is it possible for her to get to the island then back to the house so fast? Also why would someone not want protection if they were that scared that their daughter would be found out?" After telling the story Gideon realized that he had said alot but it had been bugging him. "I know it really isn't our business but it has just been bugging. I may have gotten something great out of it but that doesn't make the fact that the whole job was strange ok. You know what I mean?" He stopped talking finally and waited for Jarvis to say something. Fate was being quite and wondered if she had anything to add to what he had said.

Though Ariel's change of heart and accompanying ghostly magic drew from Fleo a raised eyebrow, she was relieved that the girl would be able to make the admittedly strict deadline. She watched as Ariel was literally spirited away by Annalise's backdraft. That problem solved, and knowing that Trinity could travel herself, Fleo activated her own sirocco and sped toward the train station, throwing up a distinctive stream of dust behind her as she raced by stores, houses, and commons.

She arrived at the train station in what felt like no time, her hair whipping around despite the cap's best efforts to keep it contained. In actuality, the trip took her six and a half minutes. It hadn't been uneventful: several times she'd been privy to the sight of Trinity being dragged along by a tornado-fueled parachute. Now, watching the minstrel climbing off the ticket booth's roof and seeing Ariel and Annalise nearby, she knew everyone had managed to make it on time. “Yeah, we're all here. Awesome! Our first obstacle has been overcome, and we're on our way to adventure. This is a sure omen of victory!” After purchasing tickets from a not-as-impressed vendor and rushing to the platform, the four-female team dodged inside the closing train doors and managed to find an unoccupied cabin after only fifteen minutes of wandering, during which Annalise managed to remain in a rather dopey personality.

This didn't change as the train departed, and the dye-haired foreigner simply stared out the window, watching everything with wide eyes, as if it was the first time she'd seen it. When the train crossed a bridge over a running, sparkling river fringed with verdant trees, Annalise sighed, and spoke in that clipped accent for the first time in a while. ”It's all so fantastic. It's like I'm in a dream.” Fleo looked over at her and sighed, not sure what to make of her.



Eliza shrugged nonchalantly. “Vell...it is not unreasonable to think that even von such as I might haff trouble doing this job alone,” she said, pronouncing her 'i's as 'ee's and glancing at the newcomers without much enthusiasm. “I suppose I can let you two join with me. Really if thing is a spirit.” She pointed out the supply room, down the hall. “Get from the storage some stuff, and ve vill go in several minutes.”



The sight of Prince, especially having already attached himself to an otherwise venerable guild master, elicited an irate smirk from Nero. It seemed that he wouldn't be able to forgo the pleasure of the catman's presence, though an encounter with him, whether physical or verbal, could still be avoided. Eager to not become a target, he looked back again at the strange newcomer, and judging by her sudden lack of shackles, Nero guessed that she wouldn't be carted off to a sanitarium just yet after all. It took a substantial amount of effort to not burst out laughing when poor Ayame, who he'd left in the room a few minutes ago, smacked right into her. Ignoring the so-called Time Lord walking off toward some kind of room with Jack Goran for now, Nero pushed himself off his resting place and made his way toward his companion and the young woman she'd just collided with.

Drawing closer now to Eve, Nero noticed that face-to-face she looked even more exhausted than she had at a distance. If not for her happy outlook, she would have appeared downright morose. As best the genie could place it, Eve hosted the 'zombie look'--a living death that arose from too much coffee and too little sleep, though given her evident status as a necromancer, he wryly supposed that the term fitted her somewhat more thoroughly. As he opened his mouth to greet her, something clicked within his brain. Weird looks, dark powers, but always smiling. Where have I seen this before? With that in mind, Nero banished his the cutting comment he'd planned and decided to go with something a little more mundane. Snarking could come later. ”Hey there, Aya!” he announced in a singsong fashion. “Gone and klutzed your way into someone already, have you? Don't worry, I don't blame ya. As I can attest, dark magic has a certain allure. So,” he turned now to Eve, “What the hex your story? Takes a lot to get outta the mitts of the Rune Goons...not that I'd know. Was that the Dragon Fang mark they branded you with? Ooh, that's gonna hurt in the long run. If I had to stay in a wizard guild, I'd just die, if the pitchforks didn't get me first. And you did this voluntarily? Eck.” The genie made a disgusted face, but then shrugged, adjusting his glasses. “But maybe you're into that. Lemme tell you though, nothing takes the joy out of masochism like a slow roast. Better to do it quick.” He grinned, hoping that Ayame didn't know what 'masochism' meant but not particularly caring if she did.

Eve watched curiously as some kind of mark appeared on her hand, it looked as some detailed mark of some dragon and it was glowing white? She didn't really like the color white, she always liked dark colors instead of the more colorful ones, but she was at least happy that they were accepting her. She started to rub her mark, seeing if it would peel off before the woman that took her hand started to say something to her, she heard of what she had to say and squinted her eyes at her. Again, the talk of the dead made her uncomfortable and irritated slightly, she didn't like people saying that the dead were dead, they are all alive and she is just giving them another chance at life. Eve felt this on the inside, but she kept a smile on her face, trying to hide away the stuff she doesn't like.

The Necromancer was going to reply to the stranger just before someone slammed straight into her, knocking Eve right into Joslyn making Eve not fall on the ground, but not really sure about the stranger from the sudden amount of force. Eve actually needed to get out of that conversation and took the chance to walk over towards the clumsy stranger. She was about to try to help her up, but the girl suddenly popped up from her sitting position and apologized to her. Eve looked confused at Ayame before giving off a small giggle, "You didn't hurt me, it takes a lot more to make me feel pain!" Eve was still trying to get used to talking to people again, but she could feel that her response wasn't normal. She was about to speak again before someone else joined into the conversation and it was another random person, but she could tell that this stranger was stranger than the others in this place.

Eve was about to speak to the strange stranger, but he suddenly started to speak in a sort of singsong voice which made her stifle yet another laugh as he was speaking. And boy, was this guy speaking fast. She was suddenly barraged with a bunch of question from him, her mind trying to keep up with all the words coming in her direction. Eve tried to pay attention to all of his questions, but she was more attentive to the way he acted. At first, he seemed to be all happy in the beginning, but she could see that when he looked at her hand, he wasn't happy anymore. While Nero was making his little joke, Eve looked at her hand to realize that it was the hand that was imprinted with that strange mark. Eve looked strangely at the mark before she finally snapped back into reality as Nero had stopped talking and looking directly at her. "Oh... Uh, yeah! I was pretty sure I was going to be taken away for a very long time before someone called the Time Lord saved me. He was all mysterious and everything and then he vanished, like a ghost." She looked at her guild mark, before covering it with her other hand and gave another smile towards Nero, "Oh, yeah. I like this place. People want me here, but I have the feeling that they care more about my magic than me, but... That is fine! If I can bring people some smiles than I will always be fine,"

The time lord chuckled and said "sometimes, when the future is threatened badly enough, I get a sense that I need to be somewhere. So here I am. Clearly, niether of you are meant to die. These" he waved his hand at the trio "are from a dark guild called flurry. Trained assassins, they were just testing you. Waiting for one if you to come close enough, to kill, they are...pack hunters I guess you could say. Once they had disposed of one of you, they would have surrounded the other. Nasty guild, and I thought them gone from the world. Well. We all make mistakes" his words seemed truly regretful.

"nevermind that. There is another reason why I am here. Don't worry about them. They will stay like that until I undo the spell. I understand you are training for the magic games...how about a little...boost?" time lord very rarely offered what he was offering to anyone. But, he had been drawn here, and why not do this? Chances were, they would be important in the future, Nd for what was going to happen. Besides, Penny was Sasha's blood. Sasha had been deemed worthy years ago, despite her lack of literacy, she was extremely bright. Not that Sasha seemed to recall what he had done, but she would, in time.

Time was really all they had.

"I am sure you are both aware of Second Origin?"

All that Penny know if this Time Lord was that he had been at the guild, and responsible for some sort of commotion that had died down pretty quickly. None knew if he had truly be connected to the FOREVER magazine, or what had happened to the group that had gone there to check the magazine was still alright. She was wary, as the Time Lord spoke, she carefully wiped the dagger, in case there was Posion on it when he said about the dark guild being an assassins guild, and then burned it, as if purifying it. Satisfied that it would be okay now, She stuck it in the belt of her pants, for now.

Penny knew what second origin was, but it was supposed to be pretty much impossible to get now-a-days. It could be unlocked, after many years of vigorous training, although most often it seemed that a mage unlocked it by chance. A spell could unlock it, and it seemed that time lord knew how to.

More magic power would be amazing, although Penny knew she had a lot of magic already. Still...perhaps if she had unlocked second origin, she wouldn't have had to give up so soon in searching. "what do you think?" she asked Damian

Gabriel seemed to brighten, and he smiled, "thank you! I can be ready in a flash!" he said eagerly, pretty much skippy off to the storage cupboard he got whatever he thought they might need, before to Eliza. He seemed not to have any trouble understanding her, but he had always found accepts pretty awesome.

Jarvis let gideon speak, as he seemed to have a lot that he needed to get off his chest, but when he had finished, Jarvis was silent. He was pondering what to say. "we are aware of this girl. Jamie discovered her potential almost a year ago. It is also true that the mother doesn't have much magic left. Sometimes, a person can block their magic, and that seems to be what Donna has done. As for how she returned so quickly...the island is her home. She knows more about it then you would have on you one trip there. There are ways to return and leave the island. After all, she created it. You see, Cat doesn't simply have earth powers by a luck of the draw. She got it from Donna. Donna was incrediabky powerful, and we suspect Cat will be too. I know you wish to protect them, But forcing that protection on her, on the girl, will do more damage then good. Fear not, though. They are protected, by exactly wha protects this guild. Lacrimas. When we heard what had happened, Jamie dispatched me to place protection around Donna and Cat. I think that just about covers your worries. Here"

The guest that Master Jack had allowed to stay in the guild was going to make working with Eve more difficult, but she let Eve say her piece before getting her attention back to the question from before. Besides which, she had seen it in her eyes, the dislike of the dead being called so. Freddy had that same look in his eyes at first, and express pushing the matter had...brought out his darker side. "Eve, I have a question for you. When you use your magic, what do you see?"




Hunter had been moving forward with another Steel Fist when Zephyr changed armors mid charge and blasted him back with a roar type attack of his own. Flipping midair, he puts his hand against the ground and slides a couple more feet before coming to a stop. "Alright, now you're getting it. Jade Dragon's," he leaps up into the air, jade streaming from his arms as he drops towards the Take Over mage, "Wing Attack!" Landing, he follows it up by bringing one foot up into the air, Jade covering it. "Jade Dragon's Talon!" He dropped his foot in a vicious arc, intending to knock Zeph's head down towards the ground as well as knocking him back. As his foot hit the ground again, he pushed off with it, his arm already taking the form of the next attack. "Jade Dragon's Blade!" The extendable attack shot out towards the Take Over mage, looking every bit the jabbed stone blade it was.




The second origin, the deeper part of one's magic energy reserves that not only increased your magic energy, but made you stronger. Damian knew they couldn't afford to turn such a trick down, but he also didn't entirely trust the Time Lord. There was still too much he tried to keep hidden about himself and that alone made Damian leery. Stil..."I say we do it. It's not something we can easily pass over, and it will help us out in the long run. BUT, I want your word, Time Lord, that no harm or ill will is intended with this offer."

Gideon took the communication lacrima but wasn't sure if he would use it just yet. He nodded along with Jarvis' story about Donna and Cat and dropped his jaw when Jarvis said Donna had created that island. They had protection he said, this put Gideon at ease and he hoped he could see the little girl again and make up for scaring her in that cave. "Well thank you Master Jarvis. I feel alot better about this now. Oh ummm I might be taking on another job this morning if there isn't anything you want me to do. I know I am new to the guild but if there is something that needs to get done then I am happy to be able to take care of something for you. If there isn't anything then would you mind suggesting a job? I might be able to ask some of the others to go on another with me so teaming up isn't a problem either." Gideon was going to need some practice with Archive in the field so another job or something to do was exactly what he needed.

Zephyr noted that being closer range wold have a more effective outcome for his attacks with his echo suit, he would just have to find way to get close to a dragon slayer without getting tail swiped by them. Snapping back to reality, Hunter ascended into the air with his jade flowing from his arms. "That would be much cooler if it wasn't about to be used to harm me." Zephyr mumbled to himself, yet as he was about to land he used his shockwaves to put enough distance between himself and the dragon slayer, avoiding the wing attack and his kick. Yet like his personality he wasted no time in charging off for the attack. However Zephyr was the same in that regards so he could understand this, however as a man that also loved to charge head on he knew some mistakes that could come from this. Once again changing suits, he now appeared in his heavy Ravager suit but in this his defense and power were much higher. To demonstrate this he readied himself as he waited for the blade with open arms. If this were any of his other takeovers this would be highly retarded for him to do, yet with this one he caught the jagged blade and grunted as it clashed against his armor and pushed him back slightly before Zephyr halted himself. "Damn that hurt. You sure don't have a problem when it comes to power." Zephyr said to the dragon slayer before his face took a more serious one as he clenched the blade and started to spin the blade around and continued to spin faster and faster before releasing the object hopefully sending the aggressive dragon slayer flying into a wall or something.

The time lord seemed offended by Damian words, and he turned a cool glance on the blade user. "I do not harm people, much less a comrades kin, blood. I would not harm you in any case. As I have just said, you are important for the future. So why would I harm you? Although" and now his tone turned to anusement "I can't promise that this won't be painful." he chuckled, and said to them both "let us begin"

He approached Penny first, who shifted, crossing her arms over her chest as he approached. He didn't seem to mind, and instead, he took her hands, drawing her arms away from her chest, and muttered a few words.

Almost at once, It happened, the unlocking of second origin, and all that came with it. Penny gritted her teeth, sinking down to the ground, and only then Realised that this would make them vulnerable to anyone else around them, like the rest of the dark guild.

Time lord turned to Damian, and smiled "ready?"

Jarvis nodddd, looking to the job board. He would have to put up some of the new jobs soon. "you can pick any job you wish, so long as there is not a restriction. Take someone with you. Team up, for safety's sake"

Damian looked to Penny, then back at the three members of Flurry. That meant there were more of them out there, probably dislodged by the avalanche. And doing this was taking a huge risk, but it was a risk that needed to be taken. "Let's go."

"I really need to figure out a new way of getting around quickly..." The minstrel was complaining softly as they boarded the train. Her fingers were mostly fine, but her palms were sore from holding on to the rope so tightly, for so long. Traveling like that was more than a little rough, after all. As they boarded the train, she did away with her weapons and covered her mouth for a yawn. "It's a good thing I got up when I did." They wouldn't have made it on time, otherwise... It was a good thing Ariel had her own way of getting here. She might have had to bring her through the air, otherwise.

When they eventually find a booth to sit in, Trinity takes a seat next to Fleo and nestles herself under the dust mage's arm, leaning her head against her shoulder and closing her eyes. "Fleeooo, I'm gonna nap for a bit. Lemme use your shoulder." She nuzzles softly there as she snuggles in, getting herself comfortable before she lets herself half-sleep.

Ariel had made the trip without incident. Her lighter than usual magic ability floating her to the train station fairly easily. She didn't have quite as much of that magic built up though so she was a little worn out. They got on the train and Ariel joined Annalise it her wonderment. This personality was just shy of childlike. More naivete than anything. On more than one occasion she tried to get her guildmate's attention and would pick things up and look at them closely. When Annalise spoke Ariel smiled a bit. "Glad we could help you out."

"have no fear, I won't leave you defenseless" time lord said with a smile "I'll get rid of thisot for you, and round up the rest. It is the least I can do" he did the same to damian that he had to Penny, taking his hands and nuttering a few words, stepping back when it was done

When the avalanche arrived, Kaitlyn simply stared towards the ground and carved a safe hole beneath her. As she dug down to safety, she closed the path behind her as she tunneled around. It took her awhile, but she popped out from her hole and was puzzled about what to do next. Because of the avalanche, the terrain looked different than it did before, so she couldn't rely on her memory to remember certain land features from earlier to find the two wizards or her bag. Especially since the avalanche probably pushed them somewhere else. Dru wouldn't be too happy if she got them separated again. That was why she always kept a trace of Dru's magic string with her in case something just like this happened again. She brought out her compass and fed Dru's string inside so the compass could point to the right general direction. If she could find Dru, she could find their bag. Then they could try looking for the two wizards.

After awhile, the compass continued to point down the mountain. But then a beacon suddenly appeared away from the compass's direction and Kaitlyn decided to investigate to help quench her curiosity. As she eventually got closer to the source, she heard a short clash of blades nearby and that quickly came to a halt. After getting closer, she stopped near a tree so she wouldn't be easily noticed. From what she could see, there were three people who were somehow frozen and being tied up by Damian with the girl from earlier and someone else talking about something. She was unsure what they were talking about, but she could hear 'second origin' being mentioned every so often. That's ones when she saw the red hair drop to the ground in what seemed like pain with red marks suddenly appearing on her, the same as well for Damian.

She left her tree and approached the Timelord cautiously with her hands up to show that she wasn't hostile. Curious about what exactly was unfolding, she had to ask "Excuse me, but what's going here?"

Hunter made mental note to make sure his next attack landed to pay the Take Over mage back for the spinning trip as he slammed into the wall. As he slid down, he noted that Zephyr's new Take Over had upped his defense and power, based on how he'd stopped the Blade. So that had to have an exchange in a loss of speed. Standing, he flipped himself so his feet were against the wall. "Guess I'll find out; Jade Dragon's Drill Horn!" Leaping forward off the wall behind him, he was once more encased in Jade as he head butted Zephyr again, this time in the chest, with the spinning attack putting him inside the armored man's guard.

When that finished, Hunter backflipped away from a counter attack and inhaled again, this time sure he could hit. "Jade Dragon's Roar!" Once more the stream of particle sized jade flew at Zeph and when it finished, Hunter was close behind, his fist and arm encased in jade. "Jade Dragon's Claw!" He swiped at Zephyr, the blow backing much more force than just an Iron or Steel Fist spell would.

Zephyr cockily grinned as Hunter slid down the wall after being spun around and around before being thrown at the wall. So preparing himself once more when the man got to his feet suddenly let his guard down enough as he heard him say that he guess he will find out. "Find out? Find out what?" Zephyr asked and he soon found out when he leap off the wall behind him with a dragon drill horn attack which rammed into Zephyr's chest before he could bring his arms up to block it. Before he could use the chance and attack him, he got out of Zephyrs range and prevented a counter attack. This was certainly something he needed to improve, his speed with this suit on, and Hunter was making full use out of that flaw.

As the words he said left his mouth, Zephyr knew what was coming and shielded his face with his left arm as the roar enveloped him causing the jade particle to repeatedly smash against his armor. His face flinching a bit every time it managed to catch a bit of his exposed face. As he lowered his guard once it finished he saw the dragon slayer already on the hunt with his fist encased in the Jade. Hunter was much to fast too bring his guard back up again, not that it would even work that well to begin with. So instead he would do a trade off, a blow for a blow and so Zephyr launched his own arm forward and braced himself for the impact.

The two blows connected and, for a moment, neither moved. And then the explosion followed, blowing both combatants back a few feet and sending them tumbling. As Hunter recovers, he shakes his head to clear it before standing again and sliding back into a ready stance before launching back into the fray. Leaping up into the air again, he uses his Wing Attack, followed by another Fist, followed up by another Talon. As the last attack fades, he pulls his fist back and swings with another Claw attack before backflipping away. "Having fun yet?"

For a second their connecting blows didn't seem to achieve anything, delayed it was to the point Zephyr blinked at his fist questioningly. "Well that was anti-climatic. I was sure it wou-" Zephyr was cut off when the reaction he thought would happen did, blowing both him and Hunter back. It more so blew Hunter back further than it did him, since he was heavier in the armor. Still hurt when he fell in it though. Yet as he was on the ground, he knew his weight and lack of speed would be a problem when getting up. So he switched over to his Engine suit and just in the nick of time got to his feet and jumped backwards away from the wing attack, able to duck under the fist that came after it. The talons he managed to avoid, at the loss of some of his hair that got swiped off, yet was then socked in the face by his claw attack.

As he rubbed his now sore face he was asked if he was having fun to which he grinned and nodded. "Hell yeah! A fights a fight. Its fun no matter how you look at it. Must be fun to shout your moves names though." Zephyr commented, as he revved his hands and took off towards Hunter. Despite his weakest suit he showed to be serious in this head on charge, yet ducked at the last second and switched his suit back over to Ravager, still going at the same speed as before just this time in his most powerful suit which was about to spear Hunter.

Hunter grinned as the heavy suit of armor moved to hit him like a spear. "Makes the spells more powerful, mate! Jade Dragon's Tail Strike!" Once more his legs became encased in jade and he ducked low as he made the sweeping motion with his right leg. This served to avoid the spear, but also set up Hunter for the strike, which slammed into Zephyr's midriff and knocked him straight up and exposed. Bracing against the ground below him, he jumps up again, jade swirling around him. "Jade Dragon's Drill Horn!" He flew at Zephyr once more, spinning like a drill and moving at high speeds. He had to see how his opponent adjusted for things mid air.

Zephyr's eyes widened when the dragon slayer said this, which just made Zephyr groan as he knew he was about to get hit and prepared himself for the worst. He was kicked in his midriff and shot up into the air which made Zephyr groan a bit as he looked downwards at the incoming Dragon slayer 'Hmmm at that speed he will win if I decide for a power contest, so in that case how about I slow it down a bit' Zephyr thought to himself as he switched over to his Echo suit, and had to time it just close enough to where he would almost be headbutted into oblivion. And then released a shock wave all around him, which slowed Hunters speed down just enough for Zephyr to move out of the dragon slayers range and landed on the ground looking up at the dragon slayer. Yet if Hunter though he was going to allow him that advantage then he was horribly wrong.

Switching to his Engine suit he took off towards the wall, and as if by magic he flew at it with such speeds that instead of crashing against it, he started to run all the way of it, and made it to the roof where he continued, before it caught up to him. Quickly he switched back over to Echo suit and used his sound waves to propel him off the ceiling and down towards Hunter, which with his high speed falling switched over to his Ravager suit and had both his fist locked together in a double ax handle. If this failed him.... then this was really going to suck.

Hunter had to give the guy credit, he'd countered the drill horn perfectly. Or perfectly enough to get out of harms way, which was good enough for the dragon slayer. He stopped mid air and seemed to float there a moment as Zephyr launched his flurry of moves to get above the dragon slayer. And that put him in a bad spot. Crap, how to...Ah, I got it! He used a short burst of his roar attack to launch himself towards the wall and used it to jump towards the ceiling. As he reached it, he flipped and placed his feet against it for a split second before pushing off of it and flying towards the now grounded Take Over wizard.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Arts: Feral Gaia: Jade Drill Spear!" He flipped so he was falling towards Zephyr feet first, but then he started spinning as large amounts of jade encircled him and formed essentially a spear drill. Based on the fact that it was a Secret Art, this spell would be bad to stay in the path of for anyone.

Zephyr prevented himself from unleashing the surge of profanity he wanted to say when Hunter roared out of the way, and crashed right into the ground which in any normal case would have destroyed the ground but since it drained his magic from doing so, it only left a dent. Thats when he heard secret art which made him look up at the dragon slayer with wide eyes before gulping, switching to his engine takeover he wasted no time in booking it the hell out of the room not caring about crashing into several people as he skidded out of the room. "Holy hell, I think I saw my next life flash before my eyes, and it was boring!" Zephyr said reverting back to his civilian clothes as he took a seat at the bar area and panted slightly. "You win this round Hunter, but next one Im winning for sure!" Zephyr shouted as he relaxed against the bars edge.
