Alright, everyone. I have been having evil thoughts, and I just need you guys to tell me that this is an OP ability.

After a 5 hour binge on Star Wars: EaW: FoC, it occured to me that Dathomirians (like Kiana) are naturally attuned to the wild rancors of the planet... And Silri has the ability to summon a small one... I keep thinking "Wouldn't it serve as an epic distraction if she managed to summon a Rancor here?"

Just tell me that it's OP so I will stop thinking about doing it.

Not as armored as tanks
Slow
Melee Only
Facing AT troops
Facing armored elements.
Surrounded by regular troops with grenades
Unsupported by other Rancors
Easily removed by air support.
In the open, far away from enemies and cover [probably]

I didn't mean to be a dick, nor was I saying "don't do it". Having a rancor fucking shit up on the real would be sweet. Just putting in my two cents on why it shouldn't be seen as OP, and tacitly suggesting ways to use the rancor to the best effect.

Sorry, that last post wasn't supposed to be a "Get a load of this dick" response. It was more amused than anything else :)

It's just that... Well, apart from the obvious tactical advantage that... Well, they are dropping a FUCKING RANCOR into the middle of a battle, I was mainly thinking of using it as a distraction, because, I think any army has to stop and think for a minute, once they see their enemies spawn the bastard offspring of Jaws and Godzilla.

God now I am just thinking about DISTRACTION CARNIFEX, the ultimate outdated tactic.

Threw up a character, GM. I kept it short yet again, but I find myself preferring to just RP the character rather than write out potentially unnecessary backstory or easily-displayed personality.

If it needs to be made longer, let me know.

Physical Description: His skin tone is a deep red. He has 2 inch long bone spurs protruding from his elbows. He has higher cheekbones then the average pure-blood and very long cheek tendrils. His eyes glow yellow normally and turn red when he's angry. He had three digits on each hand, all of them ending in razor sharp claws. He had very keen senses.
Mental Description: Selfish, viscous, violent, all that a sith should be, but surprisingly stable. Instead of his mind being drowned by the dark side he almost becomes one with it directing it as he wishes. He has self control over his emotions but usually lets them run wild. He seems addicted to weapons and if a defeated opponent has one he likes he will add it to his collection. His motto is: You can block as much as you like but in the end an attack or two will hit, best to attack.
History: Created as a test of Dooku's abilities in sith alchemy, he took a portion from the dark side and made Kilgaris completely out of it. Modelling him off of the sith of old he then bought in a zabrak he had hired as a mercenary with the help of dark sidious he stripped it of its memories and merged the Zabraks soul into the sithspawn allowing it to have its skills and ability to adapt and think independently (although this also made him get freewill). Almost as soon as he was made Sidious was impressed and told Dooku to dispatch of him whilst he left for Corscant as the test was over, just as the lightsaber was going to decapitate him a blast of sith lightning knocked Dooku off his feet and when he got back up Kigaris was gone, he had fled into the forests of Korriban and Dooku left deciding there was no point going after him. Drawn to places of dark side energy he travelled to the sith temples learning about the force, the sith and lightsabers. Training himself and getting his own unique set of views he became a fierce warrior and he left Korriban and set off into the galaxy. Fighting for the dark side and his own beliefs. With no body sharing those beliefs he battled jedi, dark jedi, and blackguard. Rumours have just started of a red warrior charging through outposts.
Equipment: - Weapons: Because he collects so many weapons he chooses different choices for each occasion. He generally always has his modified double bladed red lightsaber.
Other: Character Skills: Due to him collecting so many different weapons he needed to learn how to use them. All his free time in the abandoned sith temple on Korriban was devoted to learning how to use most of the weapons in the galaxy. He is a knows enough of form l (shii cho), form lll (Soresu), form lV (Ataru), both types of form V to use them in battle although not very effectively and nowhere near as effectively as Tràkata which he is a master of. He can use Dun Moch due to his self control but would rather finish the battle quickly. He was quite adept at Jar'Kai and double bladed lightsaber combat
He can fly a ship with basic abilities.
Although mostly untested and he doesn't know how to use many he has vast force powers. He uses sith lightning and its variants the most.
He isn't very patient, has no interest in politics but he does have basic engineering skills.

Nariata and I are currently working on a collab to do the battle on Anakin's crashed gunship. Plus, a member of Nariata's family got hurt recently so they've been busy with real life for a while as well.

@Minimum I'm not the GM so I have no authority to accept or deny your character. However.... He seems a bit too powerful. Having that many weapons, being that old (which means he has a metric ton of life experience), mastering (not just knowing but MASTERING) that many different forms of lightsaber combat. I suppose the lack of blocking ability is to balance it out, but considering his age that doesnt really make sense for the character (if he has indeed been "charging through outposts destroying them". Because that's going to cause a whole lotta blaster fire). Another thing is that the character is so special as to be "one of the only pure sith in the galaxy". I don't think our characters should be able to take up that important of a role.

However, all of that is simply my opinion. Again, I am not the GM and so I cannot accept or deny you (as I do not know if my Co-GM powers encompass that). But as someone who's been in this roleplay for its last two incarnations, I feel the need to voice my thoughts on this.

In other news, Nariata told me that he wont be able to do much for a couple weeks due to his injured family member (He said he had to take over their work shifts until the injury was fixed). I'm still trying to finish up our collab post, but I'm thinking of posting what we made so far and following up the rest in another post just to give you guys something to see. Oh yeah, I'm going to be sending a few PM's with some questions asking for advice for a few of you just to make sure the upcoming post is polished enough and won't be a huge downer >_<

@Minimum Nariata gave me permission to accept or deny character sheets, so I'll wait until your WIP is finished.

At the moment, yes. But we'd prefer CIS/Sith-aligned characters to balance things out. I'll read over your character sheet if our GM is still absent by the time you get it up.
