There’s a point where it tips…

“SHE’S HATCHING!!!” Squads of men in white armor marched towards a screaming girl as everything around her starts breaking apart and being blasted away.

There’s a point where it breaks…

Glass shattered as the girl drops lifelessly. The soldiers didn’t mind that, as their eyes focused on a gigantic bird monster emerging from the dark aura.

There's a point where it bends…

It caws viciously as it flies forth with armies of smaller birds follow her. The birds all looked to be far different from the people they were attacking, as the birds popped out, more akin to cheap internet gifs than real birds. They flew and dive-bombed at the soldiers, exploding on impact.

And a point where we just can’t take anymore…

Only one person was in the sights for the Albatross Witch though: an aging old man who looked fair for his day in a white tuxedo, his barricade now gone thanks to an impromptu bombing run.

“Admiral. At aproxminately 15:00 Multiversal Time, a Witch had formed in Sector HNGR. What are your commands?” A woman walked into the office of one of the bigger factions formed from the Multiversal War, Zyguard. The Admiral turned around on his chair and eyed the papers she had in her hand. She placed them on his table. The Admiral picked up the papers and read through the details regarding the Witch and her past life.

“… They just keep on coming.” He muttered. “Nagato, dispatch a team of Hunters there. Standard clean-up duty. If they spot any Incubators, they are to capture them. Elimination is an option, but discouraged.” He said.

“Roger.” Nagato said as she exited the room. The Admiral sighed. He pulled out some more papers, one detailing a world that had been built as a refugee camp for a world devastated by a recent clash between Incubator-supporting cultists and a group of Space Marines. There had been a rumour that the Incubators have set their sights on it. He pressed on a button.

“Tommy, do you read me?” He asked.

“Yeah. I hear ya.” A voice answered on the other end.

“Are you on Planet WSTRN?” He asked.

“Yeah. I’m… in the middle of something though.” That’s when the Admiral could hear fighting on the other end.

“Oh no… You’re not fighting, are you?” He asked.

“No. Someone else is.” Tommy said.

Tommy Orion could see a group of bar patrons tossed over the pool table in the bar. He looked at their assailant. He wore a white fedora and a tattered gray scarf. He had also been adorned with a black suit and silver stripes that resembled a ribcage. He had a helmet that matched that of a skull. Tommy readied himself. He has heard of rumours about this man. Once he pulled out a gun, he was ready to fight. Tommy was about to touch his bracelets before the skull man fired in the air.

“Leave.” He told the patrons. They got up and ran off. Tommy looked at the figure for more details. The gun he held was a bit bulkier than what he had heard of, and he never recalled him ever wearing a belt buckle that looked like a broken W. Instead of blood red eyes, they were large compound eyes and obviously, there was a scarf but no cloak. The skull man turned to Tommy. The man pushed the lever of his belt buckle and pulled out a USB from it. His armor broke apart in a gust of wind as it revealed a man with short black hair.

“You’re not who I thought you’d be.” Tommy sighed in relief.

“And just what were you expecting?” He said.

“… Some urban myth. Something you wouldn’t have heard of.” Tommy said. The man shook his head and walked upstairs.

Jason Troy retired to the room he had rented out in the bar while his ship, the Fenette, charged up for another trip into the Multiverse. He had just attacked some rowdy cowboys for harassing a tavern wench and the fighting tired him out. He looked out the window and saw the setting sun sweep over the western setting.
War of the Multiverse

Refugee Planet Code WSTRN, or Western Planet for short, was seen as a vacationing place for people travelling the Multiverse. The long, multiversal war would be tiring for everyone involved, and a few end up vacationing on this planet.

The planet had a large, expansive desert full of cattle and enough livestock to last a lifetime. The main attraction was its settlement, filled with about 120,000 citizens, to the point where it stopped being a refugee planet and more of a hub planet, a place where people stop to rest. There were tons of General Stores to stock up on supplies or become rich, bars to entertain guests, and hotels to stay in for the night. There were also wagons to take for transport to related worlds.

For whatever reasoning be, some of these people, (The PCs) have wound up on this planet for more than just a vacation. Some may have something important to do here, like espionage or assassination, while others might be hiding out from either authoritarian factions or warring worlds. However, what they have in mind will be up to the players to decide.

One of those currently using the locale for its overabundance of bars, Rain was nursing a drink in the darkest corner she could manage. Sure, the world was a great place to hang out after the NCR/Legion war... but it was almost too peaceful after the hell of digging through an apocalyptic Mojave. All of which aside, there was one thing particularly weighing on her conscience: the teleporter affected her alone, and didn't give interdimensional radio reception.

So she was left drinking alone, without her steady robot companion... or a radio station she was long accustomed to. And the bartender wouldnt accept payment in bottlecaps, the jerk.

Just outside that same bar, a fight had broke out between two titans, with a crowd betting on who'll win. A powerful punch rockets towards a black and red clothed girl as she falls to the ground with a crackle. Before she can get up, a foot slams on her chest, knocking out the wind from her lungs as she gasps in pain. The so-called aggressor was a 7 foot tall woman, with a black, ragged-spined, tail wiggling slowly behind her. Gojira-San looms over her fallen opponent as she issues a nasty sounding growl.

"That's what you get for pickin' a fight on me BITCH!" she shouts as she stomps on the opponent again causing blood to come from her mouth.

"*Gaghl* S-S-STOP! STOP!" cries the fallen victim with blood bubbling from her mouth, "I - *Gurgle* - give u-up!"

As Gojira-san lifts her foot up for another stomp, the fallen girl manages to push the incoming foot away as she scurries away from her, almost causing Gojira-san to loose balance. After scurrying a few feet, the girl slowly picks herself up, with her tattered wings ripped just about to shreds. A wounded crackle escapes her maw.

"Curse you Godzilla!" she hisses defensively as she spits out some saliva mixed with blood, "MUTO didn't do anything to you! MUTO didn't start fight with you!"

"Your kind makes me FUCKING SICK!" roars Gojira-san as she shakes her head, "All of you should burn for the destruction of my kind! Every time I see you bitches doing whatever the hell, I get mad and start killing you all!"

"MUTO didn't kill any of your kind!" begs the MUTO girl, "MUTO was minding own business until you showed up and fought MUTO to the death!"

"You and your kind earned it!" answers Gojira-san aggressively, "NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT OR I'LL KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND!"

The MUTO showed no interesting in staying as she quickly scurries away woundingly into the crowd. Gojira-san was victorious! She gives another powerful roar, showing her dominance as the crowd goes wild over her victory. Yet what Gojira-san was shouting was indeed true. Back in her Universe, the MUTO clan was responsible for killing most of her kind long ago. She was one of the last remaining species of her kind to still live today. Even though she didn't kill the opponent, her anger levels quickly decreased back down to regular status and she snorts. It felt incredibly satisfying to beat her long sworn nemesis, though she seemed a lot more timid then the ones back home...

August burst in through the Saloon doors as dramatically as possible, duster flaring and spurs clinking slightly as he did so. It was a classic moment in a lot of Westerns, and the boy had been dying to imitate it ever since he had first set foot on 'Cowboy World' as he insisted on calling it. He had been equally insistent on purchasing some local clothing including the duster, a stetson, the long-rifle case that concealed his Space Sword and the rest of his 'world appropriate' outfit as soon as he arrived. Not only would it hopefully make him less conspicuous but it also allowed him to indulge his passion for Western films just that much more. Sure, he looked a little out of place still with his metal cane in hand and it was a major pain to actually walk in spurs but it was worth it for the little rush of acting out scenes he'd enjoyed in his more boredom-filled days.

For that reason he sidled up to the bar while gazing around at the rest of the occupants, drawing rigid durability from the metal of his cane in order to avoid limping and seal away the discomfort of the spurs to a distant corner of his mind before locking eyes with the bartender. He knew exactly what to order in this sort of situation, in fact he'd been rehearsing it over in his mind before coming here to make sure.

"Gimme a Sarsaparilla and uh, clean the glass off first."

No sense drinking dirt and who knew what else along with it, after all.

Augustus, don't we have things to do aside from your games?

Relax 'Rari', I've barely figured out what we're supposed to be doing here anyway, so we might as well relax a bit while we wait for trouble to find us.

Honestly, August's spiritual tutor may have been a bodyguard where he was from, but the man was still a little too tightly wound in his protege's opinion. Nevertheless the young man kept all of his senses alert for any sudden changes around him even while sipping his carbonated drink. It would be embarrassing if he came all this way just to die in an assassination or worse yet from some errant bullet or blade in a barroom fight.

Rin - Western Planet Bar

"...Whosawassa!?"

As August burst into the bar, a blonde young women who'd been sleeping in the corner woke up with a start. And it had been such a nice dream, too... Sighing, she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and signalled the bartender to send her another drink. Coke, no ice, like the last time.

"Hum... Sure am tired of this world... Too hot, for one thing..." she mumbled to herself, taking a big swig as soon as her drink arrived. She'd never really been too good with the heat, honestly. Or the cold. Extremes of temperature in either direction weren't her forte, really. And with this being a desert world, well... It really was too hot. Not only that, but it sounded like there was a fight breaking out outside the bar. Probably just some kids getting too riled up by the heat, really.

With a final gulp and a satisfied sigh, she finished her drink, and signalled the bartender for more of the same. Hopefully it would be the last she needed for now, but she was already feeling dehydrated from the heat. As she leaned back in her seat, eyes drooping once more, she suddenly noticed that she had... Well, not exactly "company" since she was a few tables away, but a silver haired girl was sitting in the dark not very far from her. Before she realized what she was doing, Rin had raised a hand to wave at her, smiling nervously as she realized how grumpy the other girl looked. Maybe it wasn't a good idea trying to get her attention, thinking about it...

In a train speeding through the desert, carrying the mail and a number of passengers, trouble was brewing. With a FWEEEEEEEN, a laser cut through the hinges on the door as a squirrelly purple alien in ratty pants, duster, and a wide hat kicked it down, blowing the red-hot tip of its raygun as the passenger car erupted in panic. Behind him came a skeletal undead in a duster with two revolvers still in their holster, a wide-brimmed hat, and eyes glowing a sickly white. Finally came the most unusual of the bandits, what seemed to be a sentient pickle the size of a large human male, wearing crossed bandoliers, a sombrero, and moustache.

"OKAY GRINGOS, LISTEN UP! THIS IS A STICKUP! STEP ONE: SHUT THE FUCK UP! STEP TWO: VALUABLES OUT. STEP THREE: PUT YOUR VALUABLES INTO THE SACK AND YOU PENDEJOS MIGHT JUST GET OUTTA HERE WITHOUT GETTIN' PROBED WITH A CLASS THREE PLASMA DEVICE!"

As he move to open the sack and point the raygun at a well-dressed young woman, a voice came from behind him, stern and deep.

"Not today, evildoer! I'm going to make sure the only views you get are three iron bars!"

The alien jerked around, nearly jumping out of his skin. All he saw was an open window, looking out over the passing desert. Well, that and a rapidly approaching fist. With a mighty BIFF! the punched the alien clean on his back as a strangely clad man burst from what should have been an empty vista and socked the alien in its nose. Shaking his fist as the Harrowed scrambled for his pistols and the pickle lifted a massive sandwich like a greatsword, the ridiculous-looking man pointed with his free hand to each of the bandits in turn.

"Okay, I think I got this. The alien's what passes for the pretty one, the pickle's the big tough stupid one, and the zombie's got the weird powers. As for me, I go by- Open Window Man!"

The two remaining bandits didn't bother answering, as the undead gunslinger began firing, his guns releasing strange puffs of white light- the effects of a Huckster casting spells on their weapons in the Deadlands. Just as the guns were fired, however, Open Window Man pulled the window frame from around his head and neck, holding it up- and letting the bullets pass through to a the view from the open window he'd appeared from. Running forward, he brought the side of the window frame against the Harrowed's temple, watching as it staggered over to the window. With a shove, the Harrowed was falling through a portal into a jail cell. Whistling to himself, he seemingly didn't notice the approaching pickle... before he grabbed the sandwich and performed a judo throw that sent the pickle through the window. Taking a large bite out of the immaculately prepared sandwich, he was left to wonder why a pickle bandito would try to weaponize it. He picked up the alien and threw it out of the window, watching it fall into the prison cell through the dimensional portal, as he walked around returning valuables to their rightful owners.

"Remember, citizens! If you're ever in grave danger, just Dial "H" for "HERO!""

As soon as he waved goodbye, Open Window Man took a running leap out the train's window...

Open Window Man appeared in the sheriff's office, dusting off his hands and looking at the pile of prisoners in the cell. The sheriff looked from the pile of bandits now unconscious from their fall to the weirdo in the tights. He shrugged and took down the wanted posters, reaching for the reward money.

"No need for a reward, sir. Superheroes don't get into this business for the pay."

Raising an eyebrow, the sheriff proceeded to put the reward money- a few hundred dollars, all told- on the desk. Sighing, Open Window Man took the cash. He'd probably give it to a charity or something. For now, the most important part: Eating the sandwich, and thus disarming the pickle. Though it took at least twenty minutes, Open Window Man managed to eat his way through the three-foot sandwich. Superheroics were hungry work, after all! And with another running leap, this time through the window of the sheriff's office...

...and into the latrines behind the outhouse. Holding his nose, he grumbled, dialing the code to return to normal.

O! R! E! H! When this mystical sequence is put into an H-Dial, the powers are lost and the transformation is broken, allowing the user to return to their normal form! A responsible hero only uses their powers for good, and always gives them back when the battle is over. Now all that was left was to head in and use this bounty money to buy some drinks. He pocketed the H-Dial and entered the saloon, making his way to the bar.

Let's see... delicious sandwich, foiling a train robbery, reward money for a noble cause, AND I got to be an actually useful hero this time! Off to a good start!

An odd rip-like formation began to appear in the sky, only a little above most of the buildings. From out of it, a young woman unceremoniously plopped out and landed face first into the dirt, her derriere up in the air in an awkwardly painful position. It was then a strange white thing shot out of the tear before said tear disappeared and landed on the girl's butt. She was definitely lucky it didn't land face first like she did as it had an orange drill on its face that would have made the experience even more painful.

Lifting herself up with her elbows, the red haired woman sputtered, trying to get the dirt out of her mouth. "Pfhaa, ugh... I've got to work on where I aim those portals."

She pushed herself up and dusted herself off as she stood, "Alright, Plue, do you sense any Rave Sto-" She looked down to her right. Nope, no snowdogbug there. Looked to her left, still nothing. "Oh for the love of- PLUE?!"

Cupping her hands over her mouth, she continued to yell for her strange animal companion. Where in the world did that thing get to?

----

Inside the bar, Plue walked over to a bar stool and tried to climb up it. After several adorably failed attempts. one of the drunken patrons had lifted him up onto the bar. "What a cute dog," The dunk person commented, patting Plue's head.

"Puu," He responded before leaving the drunkard and heading further down the bar until he came upon a bottle of liquor left unattended. Plue then plopped down on his butt and grabbed the bottle with his paws. With surprising efficiency, he completely chugged down the alcohol.

Martha gave the very bright and pink car left in the street a raised eyebrow, much like the other people nearby were, as she passed by down the dusty street. But then again such a vehicle wasn’t that strange of occurrence on this world as Martha had been quick to discover that despite so many inhabitants from many different worlds with much more advanced technology they had all pretty much grown comfortable with the Western aesthetic, and so never really saw any need to change it.

Pulling herself back to her problem Martha looked down at the three remaining gold coins she held in her hand. Whilst buying supplies like food and dental hygiene products such as those she had just bought from the local shop were essential for travelling the cost of it all soon added up, even coupled with the fact that when presented with a pure gold coin about the size of one’s hand most shop owners were happy to let her take whatever she needed. But then was also the need to get to other worlds and payment of said travel. With a heavy sigh Martha slipped the coins into her bag which greedily gulped them down into its depths.

“Speaking of finding a lift.” Martha mumbled to herself, seeing a small rift open up in the sky.

About a minute later Martha had arrived at the street where the rift had momentarily opened beforehand. It wasn’t hard to guess who had been the person who had arrived as they kept calling out for who Martha assumed to be a friend of theirs, although they didn’t seem to be anywhere nearby. Martha, being the ever opportunist, saw a great way to get on this world hoppers good side and maybe earn a favour.
“Hey.” She walked up briskly to woman, who was oddly enough dressed in a black winter coat. “Could help but notice you’re looking for a mate of yours, maybe I could help?”

“I’m Martha by the way.” She finished by holding her arm out to the stranger.

So... so this was new. That was certainly one word for it, new. There were a lot of other words that could describe this experience, but 'new' was definitely among them. Others included such gems as 'confusing', 'terrifying', and, though not a single word, 'oh my god what is going on help me I'm lost why is there a desert it's too hot help'.

Many such sentiments were floating through the brunette girl's mind as she nervously stood outside the bar, clutching a small item in her hands and shuffling her feet weakly. Someone guy who looked to be in his teens had just burst into it in the most dramatic fashion possible, and now, well... no that had actually done quite the opposite in terms of her confidence in going inside. She'd been intending to, yes, but now... what if a fight started in there? It was a bar in some kind of weird cowboy world after all. Usually when people burst in dramatically there was going to be an almost immediate barfight or shootout or something. There. Why was she even in a cowboy world...?

Anno was confused about many things at the moment and nothing that had happened so far helped at all. First she'd seen the strange little necklace sort of... extrude itself out of the air, warping the space around it as it did. It was a simple little golden shard, that looked like it was made out of metal. Of some sort. It wasn't heavy like gold but it was definitely the right color. Then the air had warped again, but instead of pushing something out it had dragged her in. And then she found herself... here. She didn't know where this was, but judging by the fact that not everything actually looked like it belonged in the wild west she guessed it wasn't time travel. At least she wasn't dressed heavily, so overheating wasn't too bad an issue... the sun certainly was though. She had to stay under one of the overhangs. Being so pale really wasn't good for standing out in the intense desert sunlight.

Anno had just wanted to head inside and try and ask about where she was, but, well... what if some kind of barfight started up? She didn't want to be there if that happened...

Strangely, the bar seemed to have suddenly become a hub of activity--some short guy had come in dressed to the nines as a cowboy, though Rain paid no more attention to the outfit after ascertaining that: A) her coat was better, and B) the guy wasn't an NCR Ranger. Not that she had any idea how or why one of them would be out here, of all places. Some blonde guy had also come in, followed by some sort of animal that... was rather impressively chugging someone else's drink.

Speaking of drinks, what the hell was with people ordering so many non-alcoholic things? This was a bar. Though if she'd got any jobs lined up the next day, she'd probably have gone for the sarsparilla too; it grew on you when it was one of the few things in the Mojave that were actually safe to drink rather than irradiated.

As she took a swig of the beer--whatever it was--that she'd bought, Rain caught sight of a surprisingly scantily-clad blonde waving at her. She waved back, realising as she did so that waving a smoldering orange power fist in someone's direction was a bit more threatening than intended. Nothing for it, then, but to go over... and say hi.

"Uh... hello?" the tall girl awkwardly asked, fiddling with her Pip-Boy nervously. The blonde wanted to talk, right?

"Bloody exchange rate..." The bar's manager said as he read up on the currency. Having a world that caters to all worlds has its problems. Especially in economy. The list was perhaps longer than a basic Terms of Agreement from Apple as it showed various rates. In this case, he was trying to find one for a recently shown currency: bottlecaps.

As much as he couldn't believe it, there was at least one society that was devastated enough to consider the caps found on cola bottles to be viable currency. He grumbled upon finding how they'd convert to the Multiversal Currency, Muros.

"PENNIES!? THEY'RE BASICALLY PENNIES!?" 0.01 Muro. That's how much a bottlecap would be worth. His exclamation could he heard in the bar, though muffled. He was thankful that his bartender refused the payment. It'd have been a nightmare to count whatever bottlecaps the new patron had.

Jason awoke to the sounds of fighting outside his room. He looked out and saw Gojira fighting MUTO. However, he paid no mind to it and tried to go back to sleep, wondering where to go once his ship's fueled.

After the bartender handed Rin another drink, he glared to Augustus. He cleaned the glass as he kept his stare. He'd use his signature spit in the glass trick, but health inspectors stopped him from doing that. He handed August a sarsaparilla then coughed up.

"How'd you be payin'?" He asked him.

Elsewhere in the bar, William Noah read from a book. It was his favorite hobby... Well, to be fair he borrowed said hobby from a friend. Many people would think twice to wear a baggy robe like William had in this heat, but William didn't mind it. That's when a woman entered the bar and demanded to know where she is and what year it is. He sighed and put a bookmark in the book before he closed it. Chapter 14 will have to wait. And he just got to the good part too.

"You're on the Western Planet. Year... Well, that's a long story. Right now, it's 211 M.E... Are you good with Gregorian calendars? Think it translates to... 2015?" He said to Shezow.

"Plue!" The woman called out again. Sweat was beading down her forehead and she was feeling uncomfortably hot. Garage Island was in the middle of winter when she left so this sudden change in temperature was disorienting her. Furthermore, Plue didn't seem to be answering her calls.

How annoying, she thought. For a moment, she was considering going in one of the taverns for a break. She totally wasn't just giving up. Those thoughts stopped in their tracks when a voice suddenly startled her.

"Wha-?" She swiveled around to see another woman approaching her and offering to help find her wayward dog. Well, there goes her plans to take a 'break'. Fiddling with her cap, she answered the stranger, "Uh... sure. I'm Phoebe, its nice meeting you Martha."

"Uhm, I suppose I should tell you what Plue looks like before we start looking. He's about this high," Phoebe placed her hand somewhere below her knee, "and he's all white with an orange drill nose. His previous owner said he was a dog??? So, yeah."

A young brunette wandered aimlessly through the streets, glancing around at various buildings. For the most part, her attire wouldn't look out of place in a more modern world...but then there was the strange belt she wore. Sure, she probably didn't need to be wearing her Driver now, but this was the old West! Shoot-outs and brawls could break out at any time in the West, right? Okay, maybe not, but most of Rachel's knowledge of the time period this place seemed to be themed around came from cowboy movies and reading about famous outlaws and it was better to be safe than sorry.

Eventually, Rachel settled on heading into one of the town's bars. She wasn't exactly big on alcohol, much less the kind this place was likely to have, but at least, it would get her inside and out of the sun. However, as she approached the building, she noticed something or rather, someone. The other girl seemed confused and...afraid? Maybe this was her first time off her world? Or maybe there was a fight going on in that bar?

"Um, excuse me, miss?" She called out, approaching Anno. "Are you okay?"

Okay, that was a stupid question, but it was probably better to get the actual story than just jump to conclusions.

As the crowd dissipates from the fight scene, Goji-San was already feeling quite thirsty. She hadn't drank anything in a day, surprising since it's now that she actually feels the symptoms. Thank god the fight was near a bar, otherwise she would've maybe went on a rampage for a nice cold drink. She heads towards the bar with a growl as she enters the building, even ducking her head under the doorway due to her height. She should be an imposing sight for most people within the bar. Goji-san slowly walks over to the table and slowly sits down on one of the stools. Another sudden growl escapes her maw turning into a sigh.

"Tender." she says bluntly at the bartender, "Give me a cold Junmai-shu Sake will ya?"

... Oh someone was approaching her well...

It was another girl, someone she didn't recognize. Taking a deep breath and trying her best to calm down, Anno... stool quietly for several moments, opening and shutting her mouth nervously as she made an attempt to speak to the girl. After several false starts, she managed to make some kind of noise, before finally spitting out a response to her. After all, she wasn't good with new people at the best of times, but after something like this it became even more difficult.

"Th-there was this little g-gold necklace a-and I grabbed it and th-then everything went all w-weird and now I'm here u-um um..."

She trailed off, looking around nervously. This was going to sound crazy, right? This situation was crazy but surely she was going to sound crazy to anyone around here, right? Anno couldn't believe that anyone would just accept what she said, even in this weird Western town with all kinds of strange things hanging around in it. There was no way she could ever not be seen as crazy, but what else could she say?

Rin - Western Planet Bar

Well, no point in hesitating now, thought Rin as the silver haired girl walked towards her. Maybe she's not as scary as she lo- hey, is that what I think it is?

Downing the rest of her drink, she lept to her feet and focused intently on the glowing guantlet the silver haired girl was wearing. Sure, the Pipboy was the most immediately recognizable piece of equipment she had, but she'd recognize that glove anywhere. Her hands cupped the air around it, basking in the warm glow whilst trying not to actually directly touch it...

"Is that...? It is, isn't it? It totally is! It has to be!" Suddenly remembering how much she hated the heat, she pulled her hands back and practically skipped on the spot in excitement. "That's a SUPERHEATED SATURNITE POWER FIST, isn't it!? That's so cool! I've always thought the SUPERHEATED SATURNITE POWER FIST was really awesome and here's one in the flesh and... Well, not exactly the flesh, more the metal and glowy hot heat stuff but still! That's really, really, really cool!"

Maybe she was overreacting just a little, but she couldn't help it. Whenever she ran into something like this, something that she thought she'd never see for real back on Earth, she couldn't help but suddenly descend into giggling fangirl mode.

"Ah, um, sorry, um, got a bit carried away, eheh, um..." Holding out a hand expectantly, she practically beamed at the girl with the glowy heat fist. "I'm Rin! Nice to meet you!"

"I see...Well, um, how to put this..." Rachel paused briefly, trying to think of how to explain what she figured might've happened. Of course, it was an assumption based on her own circumstances, but it was better than nothing. "I think you might've gone through a portal to another world."

A few moments later, the sheer craziness of what she'd just said hit Rachel. It was an honest guess at what had happened, but if it was right, the other girl was probably completely new to that sort of thing. In which case the explanation would probably sound utterly ridiculous and she'd seem crazy.

"Um, I mean...uh..." She stammered, trying to figure out how to explain her explanation without coming off as even crazier.
