History: Anything more than one paragraph ought to suffice. Use a hider for this.
Preferred Starter: No legendaries and no evolved Pokemon. Generally, Pokemon that have no evolution (such as Skarmory or Kangaskhan) are not allowed as a starter, but we may make exceptions to this rule depending on the Pokemon.
Team: This will update constantly as you catch other Pokemon and battle with them, always come back here to keep your stuff updated.
Include the name, approximate level, gender, ability, and current moveset.
Example:
Pokemon: Mudkip Name/Nickname: none AL: 15 Gender: Male Ability: Torrent Moveset: Tackle, Growl, Water Gun, Mud-Slap
It doesn't have to look exactly like that, just make sure you have all of the required information.
It's plausible for your team to have a rotation, so put your rotation Pokemon in this as well.
CS: Going to work on this over the next few days as I get free time.
Name: Ian Laudat
Age: 17
Height: 5'11
Appearence: Ian is a pale guy with short light brown hair. He generally wears a green T-shirt and blue-jeans as well as his backpack where he keeps all of his gear.
Personality: Ian tends to be fairly laid back in most situations, though if his pokemon is in danger he quickly becomes serious. He is also deceptively analytical, often throwing his opponents off guard when his strategy comes together. History:
. Ian was born in the distant Orre region's Agate Village where he was raised by his grandparents. Naturally, in a village filled with senior citizens there wasn't much to do but explore the woods surrounding it and loaf around the village...the former quickly becoming boring without any Pokemon around. As soon as Ian grew old enough to leave the village he said goodbye to all of the old people and made his way to Pyrite town to live with his cousin and see if he could find some excitement. He found all of the excitement that he could have wanted in watching the Colosseum matches. Seeing people compete for prizes that he could only dream of quickly replaced that excitement with envy as he started wanting to participate. Without a Pokemon though, all he could do was spectate.
That all changed after a trainer that had won the tournament decided he didn't want the dark blue Pokemon egg that had been the prize. Apparently hatching an egg was was "not worth the effort." The man tossed the egg behind him directly at the wall. Luckily Ian managed to catch the egg and bring it home. With no prior knowledge on Pokemon eggs he was forced to contact his grandparents and ask for their advice. Not only did they explain most of what Ian needed to know they sent him a pokeball and an incubator. Weeks later, a small Sneasel emerged from the egg only to be caught immediately. Ian and Sneasel spent almost every waking moment training or watching Colosseum matches in preparation for what they expected to be their competitive debut. Unfortunately for Ian, Sneasel refused to train without Ian training simultaneously. On the up side this kept both of them in good shape despite them both being almost constantly exhausted.
After a year the pair felt that it was time to challenge the Colosseum. After borrowing his cousin's Growlithe (as the battles were doubles only) Ian signed himself up. While the group never progressed passed the finals, they had certainly made a name for themselves among the competitors. They almost consistently lost to the same trainer, the same man that had thrown the egg about a year before. Ian didn't know how, but Sneasel seemed to know this fact and all of her training on keeping her calm went out the window. It was so bad that she didn't even seem to pay attention to Ian at all during the battles and only focused on trying to defeat the man's Ursaring and Fearow. If that wasn't bad enough, Growlithe didn't last too long without Sneasel's assistance.
Every time they lost, Sneasel became more and more upset. She seemed to feel pretty bad about neglecting Ian's orders. The only thing that the pair knew to do though, was train. After six consecutive losses the man seemed to take an interest in Sneasel's capabilities. He stopped Ian on his way out the door and asked where the young trainer had gotten such a promising ice type. After Ian revealed that Sneasel was the exact one that the man had thrown away all that time ago, the man tried to take Sneasel claiming that she was his property. Naturally, Sneasel didn't like the idea and immediately gave the man an ice punch to the kidneys, nearly killing him. After returning his cousin's Growlithe and explaining the situation, Ian and Sneasel managed to leave town and make their way to the coast. While Ian didn't exactly feel bad about what happened, he did know that they couldn't exactly stay in Orre. The man that Sneasel had assaulted was pretty wealthy after all of those victories in the Colloseum and could probably have the pair arrested or killed.
Fortunately Sneasel had also stolen the man's wallet when she had attacked him so it wasn't difficult to buy their way onto a ship bound for the distant Kosei region and get away from all of this. His Grandfather had called Professor Tsuga in advance for a pokedex and his registration as a pokemon trainer. Ian and Sneasel's journey had finally begun in earnest, just not the way either had expected.
Appearance: Haskell is built like your stereotypical mountain man, tall and strong despite not appearing to be overly muscular. His hair is a dark brown color and is cut short. He has been afflicted by early facial hair growth and sports a full beard. His eyes are blue.
In cooler climates, Haskell wears a gray-blue parka, black ski pants, and brown hiking boots.
In warmer areas, he switches to a simple white T-shirt and brown cargo pants, but wears the same boots.
Personality: Haskell takes the concept of life very seriously. He is passionate about what he loves, and cares deeply for his Pokemon and those he chooses to call friends, but he will not often be found making jokes. Haskell is calm and collected in even the most stressful situations.
Haskell was born and raised in Snowpoint City of the Sinnoh Region.
His father was at one time a strong and mysterious Pokemon Trainer who traveled the world, more out of wanderlust than a desire to collect badges or claim champion titles. He now spends his days running a small Poke Mart out of the first floor of his home in Snowpoint City. He occasionally sneaks away to watch battles at the local Pokemon Gym, or hike the trails along Mount Coronet.
Haskell's mother is a quintessential stay-at-home wife, helping Haskell's father with customers at the Poke Mart, and tending to most of the housework.
Haskell's primary pastime as a child was exploring the snow-covered forest with Beartic and Glaceon, the family Pokemon. His experiences with nature and bonding with these Pokemon molded him into a lover of the outdoors and all of the creatures in it. Due to this, he rarely took to playing video games all day or watching television.
At the age of ten, Haskell was eager to set out on his first adventure. Unfortunately, Professor Rowan was away on a research trip for two months, and so Haskell had no-one to provide him one of Sinnoh's starter Pokemon. Unwilling to wait, Haskell began his adventure any way, confident that his knowledge of nature would be enough to help him catch his first Pokemon.
A few days into his quest, Haskell began to feel like he was being followed. There were plenty of Pokemon in the snowy landscape around Mount Coronet, but none of them seemed to pay much attention to him, much less follow his footsteps. The feeling stuck with Haskell until he happened upon a scenic overlook on the side of the mountain. He decided it was a perfect place to camp for the night, and while he was rolling out his sleeping bag, Haskell caught a glimpse of a silvery reflection in the forest he had come from. He quickly dismissed it as his tiredness getting the better of him, and after eating a light dinner, Haskell turned in for the night.
In the early morning, before the sun had risen, Haskell was awoken by a slight movement against his body. Upon opening his eyes, he saw a small creature sleeping with its body pressed up against his sleeping bag. It was blending in almost perfectly with the snow around the bag, and had curled up in such a way that the only thing immediately visible was a ball of white fur. As Haskell's drowsiness faded away, he realized that this creature was an Eeevee, but not your average brown-colored Eevee.
With deliberate slowness, Haskell reached for a Poke ball attached to the side of his backpack. As he gripped the ball, the Eevee suddenly awoke, but made no effort to run away. It simply watched Haskell closely, and tracked the Poke Ball as he rolled it across the snow in its direction. The ball tapped the Eevee's front paw with a piff, and the red energy nearly blinded Haskell in the darkness. There was no sign of a struggle from within the ball, and within one second the Eevee was caught.
Haskell and his Eevee spent the next eight years traveling the world, and training to be able to work together seamlessly. They have collected one gym badge each from Sinnoh, Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. But, much like his father, Haskell was more interested in the outdoors experience. Lucky for him, Eevee had also fashioned herself as a sightseer, and didn't care much if Haskell neglected to find someone for them to battle.
Haskell also trained himself, since not every criminal or villainous group will surrender to a simple Pokemon battle. He bettered his self-defense skills until he was more than capable of ending a fight if it was necessary.
His latest destination is the Kosei region. Having heard about the varying landscapes on the island, Haskell wants to see the place for himself. However, some certain evil plots might change his reason for being there.

Appearance: Average sized Caucasian male with brown hair and hazel eyes. Usually wears a grey hoodie with brown cargo pants and black sneakers.
Personality: Vas is one of the laziest human beings alive. In serious situations, he can get his head in the game but most of the time he is a general mess. His favorite pastimes are eating, sleeping, and messing around with his Pokemon.
Born and raised on Cinnabar Island in the Kanto Region and son of two scientists working on recovering ancient Pokemon DNA, Vas was raised in a normal childhood until he reached the age of ten. Instead of being given a normal customary Pokemon from a Pokemon Professor, Vas was given a rare revitalized Archen reborn from it's own fossils by his parents.
Vas couldn't help be be amazed with the cool yet strange Pokemon, though at first their relationship was rough. Archen was like a newborn without a mother in a time maybe millions of years past any of it's brethren graced the Earth. For a while Archen distrusted Vas, making gym battle and normal trainer-trainer interactions awkward. It took months of training and building a system of trust before Archen finally started acting like a friend to Vas. Their relationship is still rocky after eight years, but they need each other at this point.
Starter: Archen
Team:
Archen - Level 20 Male Defeatist Knock Off, Rock Throw, Wing Attack, Double Team
Personality: Eager to prove himself, Trey refuses to ever back down from a challenge. This, of course, has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
Appearance: He's an average-looking teenager with short, sandy-brown hair usually gelled back so it appears to be somewhat spiky. For his attire he generally sports a white t-shirt and blue jeans, though also with an added denim jacket should the weather call for it.
History: Originally from Azalea Town, Trey grew up on stories of the masked hero called Gligarman, aka his Uncle Parker. While it may have been his cousin Latoya who took up the mantle (she became Gligirl when Mr. Parker retired), that didn't stop Trey from getting his own Gligar. Once he became a trainer, Trey stubbornly decided to leave home and make his own legend. Maybe he wouldn't be a superhero, but becoming a powerful Pokemon Trainer was, in his mind, a good place to start. His journey has, by chance, taken him to the Kosei Region.
Preferred Starter: Gligar
Name: Gligar Nickname: Glider AL: 20 Gender: Male Ability: Immunity Moveset: Night Slash, Quick Attack, Fury Cutter, Harden
1. Pokegear (Map and Radio Cards included) 2. Pokedex (National)
Appearance: Short and small with waist length red hair that falls in loose natural curls about her body. She has a small nose and green eyes, and freckles dot her face lightly. Her body is slender, and her typical outfit is a loose fitting forest green sundress that drapes down her body to her ankles. However, in her backpack, she carries outfits for various weather and activity types as well, and she is not above putting on hiking clothes or a heavy parka should she need too.
Personality: Lilly is a strong woman with a hell of a personality. She has a hard time with names, though faces are very easy for her. She would rather cook a meal than fight a battle, though that tends to hide her strength and knowledge in battle. She loves to read, and spends a lot of time with her nose in a book. She also prefers to walk with her Pokémon about her, and they are rarely found in a Poke ball unless she is somewhere dangerous or in a battle. Lilly doesn't much like people however, due to teasing in her school days because of her hair and white skin, therefore she tends to avoid groups of people.
History: Lilly grew up in Hoenn, spending a large amount of time in Oldale. Norman was often a teacher to her, and she watched the gym battles there with awe. On occasion, she would travel with her mother to the various cities in the region to watch pokemon contests. Every event, every battle, and every show got her more excited, and she knew that she would want to become a trainer. However, the thing that really put her on the path, that made her want to raise pokemon, was the constant teasing from other school children about her bright red hair. They were always so mean, though her mother said they were jealous. Her father recently got a job in Kosei, and Lilly was forced to move. Unable to settle into her new home, Lilly decided to finally start her journey
Preferred Starter: Ralts. Preferably a shiny blue ralts <3
Sid has a lithe, well toned body from her years outdoors. Accompanying her tanned complexion is a mop of thick, unruly long black hair that flows down to the back of her thighs that she keeps braided as much as possible. In her heart shaped face rest big green eyes above a long nose (Greecian) and lips that always seem to be smiling. Across her cheeks and nose she has a myriad of freckles. She wears a pair of large, square-framed glasses.
She wears an emerald-green coat with an upturned fur collar framing her face, which she normally keeps unbuttoned and the sleeves rolled up to the crook of her elbows. Underneath her coat, she wears a variety of tank tops, typically with vibrant colors and designs on them that depict bug Pokemon. On her legs, she combos black shorts over leggings that match her coat, and simple black boots with silver buckles that reach mid-calf. On her hands are black fingerless gloves. She carries around a magnifying glass with her that she uses to inspect things.
Personality:
If there's one thing to say about Sid, it's that she's an incorrigible bug-Pokemon enthusiast. Wherever there's bug Pokemon to be found, Sid will be climbing up trees and crawling through bushes to find them and study them. When she gets into contact with humans and other Pokemon, she will often compare them to bug Pokemon.
She's a “action before thought” sort of girl, who will leap into dangerous situations before realizing how much trouble she could potentially be putting herself, and others, in. That isn't her fault though, her love for the unknown is endless – and, she believes, worthy of the danger she might entangle herself in.
She can be rather melodramatic when things don't go her way, but she's a generally chipper girl with too much energy for her own good.
Sid was originally born in Gillsenville, and around the age of 11 she and her family moved to Trimdale. She didn't know much of what was happening, other than her parents seeming very panicked as they whisked their family away to the middle of nowhere. Initially, Sid wasn't pleased with their arrangements, as it meant leaving the dojo she was attending, as well as all of her friends, to start anew. She was sullen and withdrawn, and spent alot of her time alone, climbing trees and generally moping about how unfair and how boring her life was.
That was, until one fateful day when a Venipede literally fell on her as she was walking through the forest surrounding the city. At first, she was scared and frightened. Bug Pokemon were never really her thing, except... This one was injured! She knew that he wouldn't survive out here, whoever or whatever had done this was surely close-by, so she smuggled him home and into her room. He had been too weak to struggle against her, even though he seemed frightened of her as well.
She cared for Venipede secretly, patching his wounds up, feeding him, and trying to get him to understand that she meant no harm. It took a few weeks – and a few bites – before the Venipede finally calmed down enough that she could carry him back out into the forest. When she had tried to set him free so that he could live his life out in the wild, he had instead chosen to stay with her and claimed her as his own.
That's how Sid's life as a bug Pokemon enthusiast began. She and Venipede, who she eventually named Ramsey, became inseperable. After documenting and studying bug Pokemon in the Trimdale area for many years, she decided to set out into the rest of the world, to find all of the bug Pokemon the world has to offer... and then study them! With Ramsey at her side, of course.
Preferred Starter:
Venipede
Name/Nickname: Ramsey AL: 20 Gender: Male ♂ Ability: Speed Boost Moveset: Protect, Poison Jab, Iron Defense, Bug Bite
National Pokedex, sleeping bag, bug nets, various sketchbooks and notebooks, some antidotes and potions among other food items.
Personality: Iris is confident and outgoing, quite fun to be around if one has a good sense of humor and doesn't offend easily. She has never been afraid to speak her mind for fear of hurting someone’s feelings and she isn’t above tossing a snarky remark or two when/if the situation calls for it. The majority of her repertoire consists of sarcastic comments or jokes accompanied by a sardonic smirk or raising of an eyebrow. She has been called cold more than a few times, but only because has extremely selective empathy, being that she cannot bring herself to understand the ridiculous reasons which cause a great deal of upset and alarm to most people. Crying at the drop of a hat is simply annoying and a waste of the human body’s functions in her opinion. Tear glands exist for the purpose of keeping one’s eyes moist to prevent them drying out, not to stream torrents of water down one’s face because of silly things. As a firm believer of independence, Iris absolutely loathes damsels in distress. She’s quite determined and headstrong when it comes to accomplishing tasks.
Appearance: See appearance image above.
Height/Weight: 1.8m (5'9)/63kg (139lbs)
History: Iris was born in the Almia region where the best Pokemon Rangers are born and revered as the 'trainers' of the land. Her parents were both talented and well respected Rangers in that region, always being sent on world saving missions that kept the pair far away from home for long periods of time. This caused Iris to have a rather lonely life, only living with her grandparents to look after her for most of it. Though her parents did well in keeping in touch, writing letters to her and such, their absence hurt her more than she would ever let anyone know.
To follow in their footsteps, she attended the Ranger School there and would have passes, only to be interrupted by the unfortunate deaths of her grandparents in a fire that burned down their home. At the young age of 15, she was forced to move to a completely different region to stay where her parents thought she would be better off. She stayed with them, still mostly alone at home, until she turned 18 and decided she would pursue becoming a trainer. Her skills she learned as a Ranger she believes will help her become a better trainer who will, eventually, become as well respected as her parents are. She only has one Pokemon so far, a Beldum who she met during her time in Almia and brought with her during the move. The two are very close and because of this, she has taken a liking to Steel-Type pokemon. She plans to raise/partner with only those types.
Preferred Starter: Beldum
Team:
Name: Beldum Level: 18 Gender: N/A Ability: Clear Body - Stops other pokemon from lowering its stats. Current Moveset: Iron Head, Zen Headbutt, Iron Defense
Personality: Hadaron is a cheery, friendly, typical kid, always eager to make a friend, and sometimes a rival. He's very hard to offend and likes a good joke as much as anyone.
Hadaron grew up the single child of two pokemon trainers, they weren't exceptional but they certainly had some degree of skill and knowledge. Naturally as soon as he was old enough Hadaron began attending trainer school. Though for some reason he had difficulty making friends and more often than not ended up playing by himself. One day when he was wandering around in the forest he decided to take a nap, after all playing by yourself was hard work, and he just happened to find the perfect spot. It was a nice grassy field with a nice little tree root sticking up that made a perfect little pillow. Naturally not letting such a perfect opportunity go to waste Hadaron took a nap. When he woke up he found a Ralts snuggled up beside him, its horns glowing lightly. Unsure of what to do he simply picked it up and carried it home, then proceeded to ask his parents if he could keep it. His parents said he was very lucky to have a wild Ralts come up to him and that it was quite rare, if it stayed with him he could keep it. Attracted to his positivity the Ralts stayed with him and his parents taught him how to take of it and began training it.
Preferred Starter: Ralts
