I don't see why not, but... are we allowed to land hits ON ourselves? For example, in a fight, you might mention a counter attack and enemy might make, but can we add on additional attacks towards ourselves?

So long as it's fluff and flavor text, sure. If it becomes an issue, ie will alter story or isn't quite believable to npc motivation, I will send you a pm and ask you to edit. Sound good?

If this is still open I would like to pitch my character, Carl T. Ruth aka Doctor Truth. He’s a medical school dropout who’s become a full on paranoid conspiracy theorist. His power is that if someone has physical contact with him they develop one paranoid/conspiracy idea which stays with them for between a couple minutes to a half hour, depending on their mental fortitude. After the thought dissipates some sliver of it might remain in their subconscious, but that doesn’t happen the majority of the time. Other than that Doctor Truth’s only other skills is hacking and wrestling skills from being on his high school team. As such he gets beat up a bunch and has to be doctored by his older sister, who is an actual doctor and one of his contacts.

I'm a little hesitant about your power set, or more specifically how it will play out in a Saturday Morning Cartoon style setting. It reminds me a little of the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight.

I'm thinking of doing a spy of indeterminate European ethnicity. He's down on his luck and and really needs cash, and is willing to do some pretty crazy things to make ends meet. On of these things may have been signing up for a medical study involving a magical octopus. (I'm having some trouble thinking up a character, so I used a generator. I found the octopus thing and it fit perfectly with the power I had in mind.) This lead to him being able to have his fingers extend 10 feet, become very floppy, and kind of sticky. After he has finished his business with his floppy fingers, he can return them back to normal. I've got some other details from that generator, like his personality and that. This is kind of what I've seen some others start out with.

The spy part I'm a little iffy on, but the rest looks right where it needs to be. The only reason I'm iffy about him being a spy is that these guys are supposed to be just starting out their careers as heroes; being a spy would give him access to stats and training that would far outstrip the college student and accountant presently in play.

Squid Fingers, though... good stuff. Draft me a character sheet and PM it to me, I'd like to see where this goes.
