Boomrocker I don't use contractions

@Boomrocker: Sorry, I have some issues here. To start with, him possibly being trained by the remnants of the Witch-Queen's army doesn't much make sense. She was running an enormous coven, her army was largely magic-users. Even the ones still around went into hiding when she was seemingly killed. Basically he'd have to be over eight-hundred years old and a mage for that, and while that's possible he's clearly not a mage.

If he just appears in random places why exactly is he going to a party? He seems more like the type of character who'd be working towards gathering an army or something.

Speaking of his armies... just about the only two people who have ever achieved a large army of orcs were Hidroroth and his successor, Izandrath. They were respectively a god and something comparable to an angel. Not even the Witch-Queen got them following her, because they're pretty nasty in their outlook on anyone but other orcs or things they can use to fight. Even if he killed a lot of them, they most they ever do with humans that isn't killing or capturing them is sell captives they don't eat to slavers.

1) Understandable. I will change 'remnants' to 'descendants'.

2) He is a former warlord with ambition. Adventurers make fine generals. Why would he not adventure with a party?

3) Please provide all pertinent details on the history of Orcs within Orodagor as much of the information stated above is missing from the first OOC post. I will update No-Point's bio with these details in mind so that such mistakes will not be made again.

1. Well, again, really depends there but the vast majority were still magic-users. I guess some might not have been.

2. I will point out that at least two characters would probably not be very receptive at all if he tried to recruit them, possibly more. They'd be just about the opposite of receptive.

3. Well, I kind of thought it was clear with how I mention they eat people and have generally pretty terrible relations with every other race. Orodagor is also just a single fortress, which is also a ruined mess and was cleared of orcs when the Witch-Queen took it over before it was quite as badly a ruined mess. The only reason orcs were really in Orodagor, though, was when they were rallied as an army by Hidroroth. Aside from the occasional passing raiding party they haven't really been able to find anything they want in the ruins of Orodagor, so they don't really go there anymore.

1) There was no indication that the Witch-Queen's army was killed to a man. You may wish to update the OOC post with this information.

2) OOC knowledge is not IC knowledge. I know this, but No-Point does not.

3) In that case, since I have noticed a significant number of Tolkien elements used in this plot, the logical conclusion was to assume that the Orcs lived in the expy of Mordor. That being said, I will be stripping No-Point's bio entirely, as you have said it is optional, to maintain the mystery about the man and sidestep these issues. Is this acceptable?

My counter to number two is that entering a character that you know is going to be IC kicked out sooner or later is a completely pointless idea. You're trying to enter an evil character when the first character submitted is a paladin. A typical, lawful-good religious warrior. It's something that doesn't work.

1. It wasn't. Strictly-speaking she didn't have an army, honestly. A better word would be her coven, since it was basically a whole bunch of very powerful witches. Quite a few are still alive, but not exactly good teachers for anyone who's not magical and they're also in hiding.

2. I know that, but IC it's a problem because character-wise he'd probably be kicked out of the party, attacked, or dragged to the courts in Meridan.

3. I will admit there's some Tolkien-esque elements in my setting(though honestly most European Fantasy-based settings have some hints of Tolkien somewhere), but Orodagor's hardly Mordor. It's one fortress, and it wasn't even Hidroroth's "land of evil" or anything like that. It was the furthest southwest fortress that's more notable then others because the Witch-Queen set up her coven there. As for omitting backstory, it's only okay if you really have no backstory in mind. And to be frank I forgot to strip that out of the OP when I was editing it to be reposted.

I have created a new character that should be more acceptable since you do not wish for any sort of inter-party conflict.

Ohhh! This looks like fun! =3

But are we allowed to suggest races? Like a race that looks human except it has six arms? Or can grow six arms?

@Boomrocker: It's not that I don't want conflict, I'm worried about prolonged fighting breaking out more than disagreements. I'm slightly busy right now so I'll look the new bio and the edits I missed in a bit.

@Cuccoruler: No original races. sorry. ^^;

I still don't do collaboration posts, and ideally there shouldn't be more then a few blows at most exchanged between two player characters at worst to avoid the RP getting wrapped up in a player versus player conflict.

Anyway, I'll get to the bios early tomorrow if not tonight.

Would having a dungeon based on illusions be ok? Like all of the illusions are bright and colorful too? And possibly with dancing flowers and singing?

@Cuccoruler: I'd have to see a written description for it.

@MonkeyBusiness: Okay, um, I'm not entirely sure how he got the katana from the West since like in real like fantasy!Japan is to the East. ^^;

Also, how did he learn his spell? Remember, magic taught outside of some formal education is viewed with a lot of suspicion.

@Boomrocker: Okay, first thing that sticks out to me is that he can deadlift several tons effortlessly and run fifty-five miles an hour. That's a bit ridiculous in terms of strength and speed.

He possesses an incredible downside in that he cannot jump. At all.

My bad, I totally had a brain fart and was putting West when I meant East that is being changed right now.
He was taught the magic while he was in the mercenary troop.

@Cuccoruler: Okay, so... your character basically completely overlaps with one of the already accepted characters, except she does it by dancing instead of spellcasting, and the dances in some cases take extremely long when you consider how long a fight usually takes. As for the dungeon, I'm honestly not sure how that would play out in action. It seems like it would just be really confusing and hard to execute.

@Boomrocker: That's not enough of a drawback at all. Honestly if he can deadlift that much that easily and run that fast without effort I really can't accept him. It's not like all the characters for this are weak or anything but someone who could pretty much effortlessly knock down the walls of any dungeon they go(and destroy most other things with that much strength) into isn't acceptable. And not being able to jump is basically just "you can't go here", it's not a drawback when it comes to that kind of thing.

@MonkeyBusiness: You do realize this makes him a Witch, right? I mean, that's fine even if it'll make other characters pretty wary of him, but that's how things would work out.
