High up on the tree snoozed Elise when she was messaged by Akame, and she woke up rubbing her eyes. She wasn't the type to sit still for long periods of time, and would either get herself occupied with stuff to do or take a nap. The message was followed up by another, this rime coming from Rose. She basically said the same stuff, but mentioned an Inverted Rainbow. Well that sounds strange. Does it only come in black, white and gray? Does the pot of gold appear at the beginning of it? How can it be inverted if it's light splitting from air moisture? Eh, must be more stupid magic bullshit the furball's come up with.

She yawned while stretching her arms out, and looked down from the tree. She spotted Kasumii by the school gates, seemingly lost. It was quite funny to watch for a while, and she did, but then she remembered how Rose wanted her to come immediately. She guessed Kasumii was also in the party list based on what the two of them agreed on yesterday. She hopped off the tree and made a flip for fun, landing right next to the quiet girl.

"Are you lost, Cloaky? Here, let me show you something awesome." She grabbed the girl's arm, checked where the other girls decided to have their meeting using magic sense, and then teleported the two of them right to the spot.

"WHAZAAA!" Elise greeted the others with tongue flaying out in a classy fashion. She then raised Kasumii's hand. "May I present to you: fresh meat, ready for serving! Bon appetit!"

Miyako's School...

"So, you mean you really are a magical girl, Miyako-chan?" Sora asked just to get a final confirmation to her doubts, however the Contractor intervened before Miyako could answer the question "You'll have time to ask this again later, Hitomi Sora. Right now, Miyako Komatsu must go to an important meeting to discuss the Inverted Rainbow with the other magical girls currently in this city."

"As for you, Miyako Komatsu... if you want to learn more about the Inverted Rainbow you should meet with your peers. They're about to begin a discussion on this matter right now. By the way, there's only thirty three hours, fifty four minutes and seventeen seconds left before it happens, it's better if you decide what to do quickly!" The Contractor then hopped of Miyako's shoulder and disappeared amidst the crowd of incoming students.

The Senior's School...

"Very well, then. Follow me." Yuana said as she went behind a three and transformed before running away with her crazy speed, eventually stopping to let the others catch up until they arrived at the roof of the highest building in the city "This will be the best place to discuss it." At exactly this moment:

"WHAZAAA!" Elise greeted the others with tongue flaying out in a classy fashion. She then raised Kasumii's hand. "May I present to you: fresh meat, ready for serving! Bon appetit!"

Yuna smiled at the sight of Elise "Good to see you again, Scarlet. I was starting to get worried after you disappeared yesterday. I don't know what I would do if anything happened to you after last night." However, it was the other girl that Elise brought with her that intrigued Yuna the most, thought the frost magical didn't said anything, merely acknowledging Elise's introduction of her with a nod. However, she kept staring at Kasumii with an expression that almost said "Do I know you of somewhere?" Just as she turned to the other magical girls.

However, just as they were about to start the meeting, each magical girl felt her soul gem throb and begin to shine in each of their specific magic colors. This of course was the sign of something that all of them knew all too well "Primordials, just now?" Yuna said, but she gasped in surprise at the the realization of the truth once she focused her mind on the creatures' locations "That can't be... how come there are so many of them at once?"

True to Yuna's surprise, soon the other girls would notice. There were too many Primordials, in fact at least one for each magical girl in the city and all of them were pretty far for one another. Also, from the looks of it, their number would only go up if left unchecked.

"We will talk later, now let's deal with this." Yuna said as she run towards one of the locations with the speed of an incoming blizzard, leaving the others behind.

As Kasumii was waiting, she looked up, into a tree, feeling the presence of Elise from yesterday. She watched as she flipped out of the tree and landed next to her. "Are you lost, Cloaky? Here, let me show you something awesome." Kasumii did not reply. Cloaky? What kind of nickname is that I don't even wear a cloak. she retorted mentally, as Elise grabbed her hand. She figured what Elise was going to do, so just went with the flow, letting her teleport them to where the other magical girls were.

When they appeared, Elise raised Kasumii's hand, and greeted the others with a tongue flaying out in a classy fashion "WHAZAAA! May I present to you: fresh meat, ready for serving! Bon appetit!" But as she raised Kasumii's hand, Kasumii erased just her hand from existence, and brought it back a quick moment later. Therefore, Elise raised her own hand, as she presented herself as fresh meat. It was a poor, tasteless joke in Kasumii's opinion, so she let Elise become the joke.

In front of them, the other magical girls. Kasumii looked at Rose, Akame and Yuna. The seniors of the group. She wanted a private word with Yuna first, but it seems there won't be a chance to. As the meeting was about to start, a throb of her soul gem. Her soul gem shined, but there was no light, as it was a clear shine. It was odd, but one could tell it was shining. "Primordials, just now?" Yuna said, but she gasped in surprise at the the realization of the truth once she focused her mind on the creatures' locations "That can't be... how come there are so many of them at once?"

The number of primordials, it was just .... unnatural. Could it be ... that the primordials are actually being controlled in some way? That could explain why there are so many here. If this was ... the nest as they say, maybe there is a mother, someone controlling them ... a thought passes by Kasumii, but she did not voice it. It was more important to deal with the primordials. "We will talk later, now let's deal with this." Yuna said as she run towards one of the locations with the speed of an incoming blizzard, leaving the others behind.

Kasumii nodded, and changed into her magical girl form. She started to make her way to a primordial that was in a location near where Yuna was heading. Perhaps there would be a chance for a small private conversation if she could make quick work of the primordial.

Miyako grumbled aloud as the Contractor didn't bother to explain anything, instead saying that she should attend the meeting that was going to be held soon. So yeah, she'd been a bit negligent in working with the other girls in the city, but that was hardly her fault! She had to settle in and get her domestic situation stabilized first. It wasn't as if she was some lone wolf without any attachments after all, since she had a family and school to deal with. If they didn't like it, they could deal with it.

"Sorry, gotta go. I'll explain later," she said to Sora, and meaning that sincerely. If this was important then she had to handle it. "Don't sign any contracts while I'm gone." That also was meant sincerely, and once she had said that she headed off towards the wherever this meeting was supposed to be. Well, this was great wasn't it? Already missing a day of school for magical girl business. She'd have to think up some sort of excuse.

She'd barely made it out the door of the classroom when her soul gem lit up like a christmas tree, revealing the presence of a ton of Primordials, scattered all across the city. Her eyes widened in surprise and alarm, taken back by this. What the hell was with this and this timing? It was easy to connect it to the Inverted Rainbow, though she didn't know how they were related beyond the Primordial connection.

Well, there was no more time to worry about that. These Primordials had to be dealt with and fast. So she went to it, ducking out onto the roof and quickly transforming with an obligatory flourish, so she stood there in her magical girl uniform, ready to defend the city, as she assumed the other girls were.

She took in a deep breath and then launched off, pushing against air as she bounded away form the school and towards the nearest Primordial. Time to get to it then.

Akame regarded both Kasumii and Elise with a courteous nod, holding back a sigh at Elise’s rather eccentric mannerisms. She couldn’t help but note to herself that they hadn’t been doing much training as Magical Girls since the newcomers had arrived into the city. Wasn’t that the point of all this? Yuna’s words however reminded her of the cause of such setbacks.

Indeed, it seemed like the Primordials were getting bolder and more rampant as the days progressed. They would need to deal with the immediate threat first, in this case the Inverted Rainbow Yuna mentioned, and then focus on their training. But alas, even the meeting to discuss that very subject had to be interrupted as each Soul Gem buzzed with power.

The tell-tale sign of Primordials, and lots of them too. With the other Magical Girls already deploying themselves, Akame transformed into her Magical Girl attire and leapt away in a jet of flames. She kept an eye on her darkened Soul Gem, knowing that she had to end this battle quick before she dropped down in exhaustion completely.

After all, there was still the worry of a Magical Girl killer on the loose. That wasn’t too pleasing to ponder right now and Akame quickly spotted her target. A gray-skinned thing with a rather large sword and tarnished long hair, the remnants of blonde coloration faded into the long locks. The sword was crusted with rust, a hinged suit of blue armor clung to the Primordial’s frame. It eyed Akame with vicious intent, leaping into the air to intervene with a mighty swing of its blade, the alleyway forgotten beneath its feet.

When Elise raised her own arm up and realized Kasumii played a magical prank on her, the red-haired girl couldn't help but laugh. She didn't expect such a droll girl to be capable of something funny like that, and didn't mind being the punchline at all. "Oh Cloaky, I thought you'd be one of those brooding, boring types, but wow, am I glad to be wrong! You really got me with that one!" She held her sides while recovering from her laughter, and responded to Yuna's greeting.

"You don't need to worry about me, but thanks. Snow White, you're a true sis." She fist-bumped the girl.

Elise was happy, but her expression sharpened and her eyes turned focused once the topic changed to Primordials. "Time to cook up another serving of Primy Pasta à la Elise!" Without waiting for response, the hot-blooded girl ran off the edge and jumped out. The nearby Primordials were taken by other girls, so Elise set her sights on a more distant one. The Primordial had a very pretty and frilly dress that seemed to constantly change from one design to the next, every design unique from the others. The Prmordial held a wand in her hand, and it's head changed between a winged beak and a circled star. Once Elise got to engaging distance, the Primordial pulled out a card of some sort, and summoned a feminine spirit of wind. Elise twirled to the side and avoided the forward-moving apparition that disappeared.

"A caster, huh? I know what you're weak to-steel applied directly to the forehead!" Elise charged in, but the tiny creature on the Primordial's shoulder grew into a winged lion, and intercepted Elise, jaw open wide. Elise blocked with her greatsword, and the beast bit on the blade. The Primordial now pulled a new card, and a black cloud appeared over her head. Elise decided enough was enough, and threw the greatsword upwards, sending the winged lion who still clung to the weapon to collide with the black cloud. With her path now clear, Elise leapt down on the rooftop where the Primordial was, pulled out her twin swords and ran at the caster. The Primordial responded by pulling out a card, and a shield appeared in front of her. While Elise was busy banging on the shield, the Primordial dispelled it with another card.

"Hah, this is gonna be eas-" Elise said, before she swung at the Primordial and realized she was suddenly a master at martial arts, easily dodging and weaving through her attacks. The Primordial counterattacked with a roundhouse kick, and though Elise parried it, she was still sent back by the impact. Elise landed on her feet, and struck a defensive pose.

"You can do a lot with those cards, huh? Well it won't match up to pure skill!"

It seemed Elise did not mind becoming a joke, and although Kasumii did not really like the name 'Cloaky', it seemed she would have to deal with it. She wanted to smile, but she kept her walls up, afraid of getting close to others. Yuna seemed to have a nickname of her own and a nickname for Elise. Snow White and Scarlet. When Yuna turned to see Kasumii though, it seemed like she was staring. Her face looked like it saw something that seemed familiar but not quite sure if it was familiar or not. Does she still remember me somehow? No, it shouldn't be .... unless ... I messed up last time .... What name did I use again? ... Setsuna? Kana? Well, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Either way, once I leave, she will forget anyway.

There it was, the primordial on a roof top, looking around for something to kill. The primordial was dressed in a black one piece with white cuffs and a white collar. It was thin, like an anorexic. Despite being so thin, it had a big sword. A black sword, with .... red lips, teeth and a tongue. As the primordial contorted it's body, with it's legs leaning forward and it's back bending back. It's torso twisting and lifting the sword, cutting upwards. From the sword came a scream. A high-pitch scream that felt like it could burst ear drums. The cut followed the ground, continuing forward. Kasumii side-stepped the cut, seeing the damage it dealt.

This shouldn't be too hard she thought. The primordial almost looked nervous and unsure of what to do, looking at the ground. Kasumii then started to charge in, however, then the primordial looked up, smiling. It was a smile of insanity, a smile of pure madness. Another slice came out towards Kasumii, but it was much faster. Kasumii could not dodge, and she was cut in two. The primordial looked down, tilting it's head, like it was confused, before smiling more. It went to cut and slice and dice the body of Kasumii. Or at least what it thought to be the body of Kasumii.

Kasumii was a mist, hovering over the Primordial. The body it was cutting up was just a Decoy. She then appeared, coming back into existence in a physical form, behind the primordial, with one of her kunai ready to stab the primordial through the neck. As she started to stab, all of the force behind her blow stopped. What the? What is this? she thought. It was impossible to penetrate, impossible to push the blade further, to cut, to stab. It was like she was trying to stab into a diamond.

The decoy disappeared, and the primordial froze. From the wound in the primordial, black blood oozed unnaturally. It felt dangerous. The black blood that oozed formed spikes attempting to stab into Kasumii. She once again vanished, turning into a mist and appeared behind the primordial. Is the blood of the primordial, it's weapon? Can it change shape, form and solidity at will? This is troublesome. It seemed she wouldn't be able to end it as quickly as she thought.

She went for another method. Making a throwing motion, she threw nothing at the primordial. The primordial was confused as to what the magical girl was doing, but once again, the smile of madness appeared, as it charged at the magical girl. Tsk ... Talk about unpredictable movements the primordial's path, and movements were extremely unnatural. Kasumii clicked, and suddenly a kunai appeared within the primordial. Well, at least this method works, but with it's awkward movements, it's not gonna be easy to kill The primordial had stopped momentarily, looking at it's wounded shoulder. A blade was inside of the shoulder, piercing the skin, blood and bone. It looked at it, and then smiled once more, that maddening smile.

Being both the first to leave and the fastest of all present magical girls, it was no wonder that Yuna arrived at her destination at about the same time as the other girls, even though she chose the most distant primordial as a target.

She was able to see the form of the beast just after leaping one more small building. It was a small blue eyed girl, probably no more than nine years old, with reddish-brown hair tied into two small pigtails that were held in place by two large ribbons. She was dressed in a tarnished white dress with blue trims, fitted with several pieces of what looked like military grade armor. In the Primordial's left hand there was a white and gold staff with big pink gem forming the core of its head. But what really caught Yuna's attention was the fact that it stood still amidst an old parking lot, bing a far too perfect target.

The frost magical girl didn't cared much for it, just dismissing such behavior as the Primordial's stupidity that's so common and launched a dive kick aimed at the back of the girl's head. However, just before she connected, the Primordial's staff chimed like it was some kind of machine and a pink shield of solid light appeared in the air and blocked Yua's kick.

"How come? Did it just used magic? Moreover, what kind of power was that, I've never seen something similar to it before." Yuna didn't had much time to consider those questions, anyway, since barely a moment before she blocked Yuna's attack with that shield, the Primordial launched an attack of her own and Yuna found herself having to run as fast as she could to dodge the six seemingly guided balls of pink destruction that the girl shot at her.

Without losing her momentum, the white girl flahed behind Yuna with an unbelievable burst of speed and hit the small of the frost magical girl's back with her staff, as if it was a club. The force of impact was absurd and sent Yuna flying for several meters before she was able to stab her spear on the broken concrete that covered the ground and eventually stop after sliding for a couple more meters.

However the fight was still just beginning as Yuna's surprised exclamation of "Uh!?" when she saw the girl holding her staff like a cannon while a copious amount of mana was being fed into it "A charge shot?" was all she had the time to thing before jumping away of the path of the beam of pink light, on time to see it turn an abandoned depot into rubble while making it look like it was easy.

"I have a feeling this is gonna be a long fight..." Yuna said to herself as she twirled her spear around her body, before charging at the Primordial yet again.

Separate from the rest, Miyako was quick to arrive at the location of the primordial that she had chosen to fight, swordstaff at the ready as she looked for her opponent. She quickly found it, and an eyebrow rose at the appearance it had. It was bestial, almost feral, with blowing red eyes, bared fangs, and a body of total black. Yet she could make out details past it, spikes jutting out and what seemed like gauntlet clad fists, almost shaped like a teenage girl if it weren't for the all encompassing blackness, to accompany the growling that was of a different tone to usual Primordials. It sent a chill through her, and her eyes widened at the visible red aura around it as it smashed everything in it's path.

"Well, this is going to be fun," she noted to herself grimly as she faced it down. She had the feeling that fancy tricks wouldn't work on it, with the way it was bullheadedly destroying everything in it's way. Then again, she might be wrong. There would only be one way to find out really.

So she moved in, rushing in with a burst of speed to intercept the Primordial before it could hurt more people in it's deranged rampage. "Hey, ugly, over here," she called aloud, not the most subtle tactic when it came down to it, but not really minding that. And indeed it was effective as a snarl issued forth from the Primordial's black maw, and it turned to begin pursuing her rather than anyone else, just like she wanted. Now she could handle this thing her way.

Her swordstaff twirled as she struck, watching with some surprise as the Primordial pretty much punched his blade out of the way, sparks leaping free and scattered as she pushed her offensive. It seemed that this Primordial was all about offense then as it snarled and growled, limbs lashing out and slamming against her weapon, earning grunts and grit teeth in return. Her offensive didn't last long in this situation as she shifted to the defensive, blade flashing to block high powered punches.

"Geez, what is it with this thing," she panted aloud as she blocked another strike, her sword leaping in her grasp. She couldn't afford to switch it to dual weapons, given how hard each punch was hitting. It was like a freight train or something, and it was all she could do to keep from having her guard snapped like a twig. She was not about to lose here, not when she had come this far, that was for sure. She just had to find an opportunity to act and take back control of this fight, before things went more wrong than they had already.

That did not come though as a last hit slammed home and she slipped up. That was all the thing needed for it to take advantage of, and suddenly she was airborne, before slamming into a wall and making a decent crater in it. Miyako grinned as she levered herself back to her feet with her weapon, rolling to the side just in time to dodge a hit that would have finished her off for sure had it landed. She struck upwards then, shifting another ferocious punch before it could land, that defining her new strategy as she spun back and away. This, this was going to be tough.

Finally I made it. Amara thought as she arrived at the meeting place with Mizuki close behind. This defiantly has not been my day, first I get stuck in traffic, then a horde of Primordials appear. She looked around, noticing the others in battle already. She heard a noise behind her, and acting on reflex, she jumped out of the way and turned around while transforming into her magical girl form. She tensed, anticipating an attack that never came. There was a primordial in the shadows, that much she knew, but she had no idea what happed. Did it throw some thing at me? Amara's eyes widened as she felt the massive presence of the thing, like a dark, grimy ominous cloud that felt like mildew and slime. This one is one of the most powerful I have ever felt. I think it might be too much for me to handle.Slowly the Primordial stepped out of the shadows. It's appearance was like a gargoyle and a human, it had black demonic wings arms legs and a tail. Its head and torso where human-shaped, exeept for a pair of white horns sticking out of its head. The strangest thing about it's appearance was a large hole in it's sternum that went straight through it's body. It has a great big hole in it, yet it is still alive? How is that possible. Amara wondered. She looked down at herself and back at the thing Oh, magic I guess. The primordial let out what could vaguely be called a scream, but it reverberated oddly. "Mizuki!" Amara shouted. "I'm on it." She replied. No jokes or banter now, this was serious. Mizuki's form overlapped Amara, then disappeared. As if in response, the primordial summoned a large javelin of some strange green energy. "Lets do this!" Two voices cried in unison. Amara summoned her Scythe and charged the deadly primordial.

The clash of blades ringing and steel sparks flying filled the rooftops of Miso City. Akame ran parallel to her sword bearing enemy, slicing about and countering each strike faster than any swordsman. Likewise, the Primordial facing her kept up with equal speed and lurched forward to push her back with exceeding strength.

Their blades locked together, Akame kicked the knight back before gripping her sword with two hands. Moving her arms upward, she clenched her weapon tighter and swung it downwards into an arc. A crescent wave of flame was hurled directly at the Primordial. Skidding on the roof with its gauntlets, the creature make a quick recovery and held itself in its own battle stance.

With one foot outward, the Primordial gave out a mighty bellow as it too copied Akame’s exact motions, launching back its own attack. Instead of flame however, a wave of pure, golden energy met with the wall of fire. Akame narrowed her eyes and grit her teeth slightly, ready to dodge if the clash of power resulted into an explosive convergence.

Seconds passed before her predictions were proven true, the ground rumbling beneath her feet as the two bursts of opposing energies finally collapsed upon each other and forced both combatants backwards. Smoke was everywhere but Akame made sure to keep herself moving. Her dark coat made it easier to camouflage herself in the plumes and it was only a matter of moments before she sensed the Primordial. With its back turned towards her, searching in the dark mist, Akame leapt into the air and shot down like a bullet, ready to pierce its black heart.

“W-What?”

Akame’s sword was met with nothing but air. Surprised, she parted the smoke instantly with a mighty wave of her hand and just caught the last glimpses of her enemy. The knight Primordial was being enclosed in what looked like a line in reality, sucked in and departing from her sight before the line closed in the shape of an eye.

A soft giggling filled Akame’s ears and she turned around to see the one that had caused such a phenomena. This Primordial had long flowing hair coupled with a dark gray and purple dress. A large parasol was held in one hand while a small, Japanese fan was held in the other. They floated in the air gracefully, as if it were some divine being from the cosmos.

“So you’re the real enemy here,” Akame mused, pointing her blade at the newcomer. “Nice trick you got there. I bet you have plenty more if that powerful presence of yours is anything to go by.”

The Primordial giggled once more in response to that, opening up more eye-like portals for the coming battle. Akame tensed a little, knowing that for some reason this Primordial was significantly more powerful than the others. That meant it was more intelligent…and more dangerous. She realized that she might need some assistance for this one.

Hopefully help would come in time.

Yuna dashed at the white magical girl, trusting her spear at her chest, but the other girl blocked Yuna's attack with another shield spell and prepared to counterattack with another wave of guided light balls.

"Just as I expect" Yuna said while disengaging her spear and spinning her body, summoning a crown shaped ice formation to protect her of the sledgehammer-like magical blasts, following the attack by stabbing her spear on the ground causing the ice crown to burst and shoot sharp splinters of ice everywhere.

The white primordial blocked the ice blast with another shield and flash stepped to where Yuna was standing, trying to slam the frost magical girl with another blow of her staff, only hit an ice clone, losing her balance momentarily.

Yuna had used the explosion to cover herself in a flurry on snow and ice, while jumping away from the primordial and now used her small advantage to dash at it from behind, trying to finish the fight as fast as she could. Just as she was about to make contact, Yuna spun her spear and an arced wave of icicles shot from the ground up aiming for the primordial's left flank, while Yuna delivered a roundhouse kick at its right. "Block this!"

The staggered primordial howled as she was both stabbed and hit by a concrete splitting kick at the same time. Blood began to paint her tarnished white dress in a deep crimson color. However, it wasn't about done yet and countered by slamming Yuna with her staff thrice in rapid succession, breaking some of Yuna's ribs and rupturing some of her organs, causing the frost magical girl to spit a stream of fresh blood as she rolled for several meters on the cold pavement.

Yuna got up and cleared the blood from her cheeks, she knew that if she didn't made quick work of this primordial she had big chance of dying. The frost magical girl closed her eyes and breathed deeply, feeling the stabbing pain from her broken ribs gritting against her lungs awakened her fighting spirit, and when she exhaled a could of frost left her mouth and her eyes were as sharp as those of a tigress ready to finish her prey in one fell sweep.

The primordial ignored Yuna's second wind and shot another beam of pink destruction, trying to erase the magical girl from existence in one attack. At the same time it shot another wave of light balls to try to trap Yuna on the beam's path.

Yuna smirked "You're going to need more than that, to kill me" and dashed with an speed unseen up to now, barely a blur in the middle of a snow flurry that suddenly hit the parking lot. She flashed behind the primordial and delivered a blindingly fast barrage of stabs and kicks, finishing her assault by spinning her spear and summoning a large icicle to stab the primordial's chest. "If I die here I'll never be able to see Elise and the others again. I'll not allow that, not after finding something precious to me after so many years walking the world alone."

The primordial's world turned red, not with the wounds, no, they could and would be ignored. Even losing an arm, or both, was nothing but a flesh wound to a creature such as they. What made her world turn red was rage, burning anger for seeing the smile on the magical girl's face. Why was she so full of hope after being battered like that? Has the bashing bring about the hidden masochist on the girl's heart, or she did remembered something that gave her this miraculous second wind? Nah... it didn't mattered, all that it needed to was to kill and consume this girl's flesh, the tears of despair coming from her broken delusions would be the perfect spice to such a meal. So it roared and discarded the cumbersome weapon it was wielding pouncing at Yuna with its bare claws and shark-like teeth, hoping to rip the frost magical girl's throat off of her neck.

"Finally revealed your true colors, huh? A shame it won't work." Yuna said as she met the primordial charge with spinning kick, sending her flying backwards. Right at that time Yuna's body shuddered with a bad feeling coming from the direction Akame went to "Could it be?"

The primordial's rage was turned into pure wrath as it got up and charged at the distracted magical girl, roaring and howling like a maddened demon.

"I don't have more time to lose here" Yuna said when the primordial was almost upon her. She hit the beast with the shaft of her spear sending it reeling backwards and to end the fight... "May God have your soul. Now, die!" the frost magical girl yelled as she launched her strongest attack, throwing her spear which broke into thousands of steel shards mid flight and reduced the primordial's body to a blood stain on the pavement.

"Akame, Akame, are you well? Hold on, I'll arrive there as soon as I can." Yuna said telepathically as she dashed to the location of their leader, ignorant to the fact that the primordial she just killed didn't turned into a black rock as usual , but instead on a miniature magic circle. The meaning of this only time would be able to tell.

The plaza that Miyako was fighting in had been thoroughly destroyed over the course of this battle, smashed by fist or by weapon, or even by the high speed impacts of bodies against surfaces that shattered them in the process. At least the area was clear of civilians now, which prevented more deaths, but windows had been shattered, walls wrecked, and the ground cratered from missed blows, a flurry of explosive destruction that was definitely a first for the magical girl.

Still, the fight raged without abandon, the Primordial not slowing down or deterred by any strikes that Miyako might land, while the magical girl had shifted to the defensive. She had no special powers to draw on, and she couldn't use her weapon to it's full functionality due to the fact that trying to fight with one weapon in each hand would make her unable to block, at least against punches that were this powerful. She wasn't sure how the others were handling things, bur hopefully they were having as hard a time as she was.

Another leap took her out of the way of a punch as the remains of a table were shattered into so much woodchips and sawdust, definitely no longer usable. She took the moment to attack then, swordstaff spinning as she lashed out with a swift kick aimed at the dark creature. It hit, which she was glad for, but it didn't seem to do anything to phase the Primordial, as if it could just soak up all the damage she dealt. And it had thus far, which made this all the more distressing. She'd need to do a fatal strike before she was overwhelmed, and fast. Already she could tell she was starting to grow close to her limit.

Still, she was not going to lose or fall here, not if she had a say in the matter. She spun about, chucking items at the Primordial and using the opening as it swatted them aside to try and get behind it, so that she would have the freedom to maneuver and attack. So she did, striking with blistering fury and cold determination in a rapid trio of blows that at least gave the thing pause. But she botched the retreat, and it took the opportunity to hit her back.

"Aaagh!" Miyako cried out as she smashed clean through a bench, feeling the wood splinters lodged in her skin, irritating the wounds and making healing that much more of a hassle. It was a good thing she was the best magical girl out there, or she would have had real trouble right about now. But she wasn't, so she managed to keep going in spite of that.

Quickly recovering, she charged forward again, determined to end this. But rather than meet the countering punch, she instead ducked beneath it in a slide, letting her sword rise up to gouge at the bottom of the Primordial's arm, earning a roar of pain from the beast as black ichor sprayed and tainted the ground. That only seemed to enrage it further though, and it swung about to strike her further. She wasn't hit, but her weapon was sent spinning instead. "Tech, great," she grumbled as she rolled out of the way, dashing for it, only for the Primordial to get between her and it.

At the same time she felt the change in signature from further afield, indicating that something was up. But she didn't have the time for that, had to focus on the opponent at hand. If she let it then this thing would punch her into next week, not exactly the option she was looking forward to. But she would persevere, one way or another. She just had to find a way.

Laughing and smiling manically, the Primordial looked at Kasumii. Kasumii watched carefully, as black blood oozed from the wound. Normally, she would erase the fight, and start over, but that took up a lot of magic. Right now, she was wary of overusing her magic. If her assumptions were correct, using too much magic would put her at risk. It seems she would have to fight it head on. The blood suddenly stopped oozing, it was about to make it's move.

Instantly jumping back, the blood shot out towards Kasumii. Guarding with a kunai, she expected to stop it, but it became liquid again. "Tsk" she muttered. Being forced to disappear as the blood came at her again. Once she disappeared, the blood spread along the ground where she was. Reappearing behind the Primordial, she threw her kunais. The wound from behind the primordial's neck spurt blood, deflecting the flying blades. The blood started to make it's way towards Kasumii. She held out her hand, and clicked her fingers.

The instant she had, the blood fell, and the Primordial was on the floor. However, she knew it wasn't over. Her blade was flying through the air, the Primordial dropped the instant it heard the click, to dodge the kunai. It's concentration must of broken from the blood temporarily to move be able to react that fast. The blood on the floor started to shift again. Jumping aside, it skewed the space she was standing in as she jumped away.

The primordial, lying on the floor, started to stand, slowly. The feet planted on the ground, and slowly, the body rose, like a deflated airdancer starting to inflate. It was so unnatural. It just looked at Kasumii, with that smile of madness. It started to charge, blood flying at Kasumii from all directions with the sword coming at full force. Waiting, she disappeared right before the point of impact. The blood began to spread, but Kasumii reappeared, right in front of the primordial. Her hand under it's chin and her hand on it's chest over where it's heart was. The blood quickly started to head towards Kasumii, but almost immediately stopped and fell. No movement was made, as a blade appeared through the skull and the heart of the Primordial.

The body of the Primordial disappeared, but Kasumii was still on alert, aware that something else could happen any moment. Waiting, nothing happened, and she then grabbed her Soul Gem. She made contact with Yuna, "Yukino Yuna-san. This is Kasumii, I was wondering if I could have a word with you later?". With that done, she knew only one of the other magical girls whom she could make contact with. She wanted to know if any of the others' needed help. Next she made contact through her Soul Gem with Rose. "Excuse me, I was wondering if anyone needed any help." she asked, waiting for replies, still on guard for if something else occurred. Of course there were still a number of Primordials left, but she didn't know which to go to, nor who needed help most.
