Roxy growled at the boy that grabbed her. She created two knifes out of shadows just in case. They wouldn't hurt him much but they were enough to buy her time if she needed it. "Let go of me!!" she ordered. She didn't like having others touching her. Especially when they had no reason to do so. As far as sh oukd tell this boy had no reason to touch her.

"Someone spit in your sandwich?" Felice finished off the apple and pulled some kind of cheese and meat wrap out of a container in his bag, hoping to finish it quickly since it seemed that the bell was ringing for the next class. He honestly felt a little surprised that she still returned, about as surprised as he was to realize that he had kind of been expecting it. It wasn't even the end of the first day and he was already breaking promises. It's going to bite me in the backside later. I know it.

More important at the moment, however, seemed to be the fact that he could probably roast a marshmallow on that aura. Figuratively, of course; he didn't think she could actually make it tangible. Not yet, anyway. "Yer stealing my disapproval act here."

@KatherinWinter "Wow, wow, there is no reason to get upset is there" John replied smilingto the purple-haired girl with the -Are those knives in her hands?!?!!!- while backing off a step. He could feel his own pen becoming a dagger in his pocket- he hated people who thought they could intimidate him just for the sake of doing so. "I just want to ask for directions. I'm new here -just arrived, in fact, and it seems that I'm also late. Names John, by the way" he added, offering his right hand for a handshake. He was a southpaw, but his left hand was busy hovering subtly over his pocket. Better safe than sorry.

Roxy watched the boy warily. She didn't care who or what he said he was. She noticed that his hand hovered over one pocket. She smirked. He was afraid of her shadow knives. That made her feel abit safer. She knew that this was suppose to be a neutral zone. But that didn't mean that there wouldn't be a few minor fights. It was hard to put aside centuries of hate. "You missed half the day if you are just arriving. We are heading to the gym. You might want to keep your hands to yourself. Otherwise someone might think you are attacking."

@KatherinWinter"Oh, so formalities are not going to work on my favor around thise parts. There is a lot of fighting going in between inmates, I presume?" John said, while retracting his hand and trying to smile again -successfully. "Not that it matters, really. We are gods, right? We should be able to defend oureselves by now " He safely assumed that a friendly wink equaled a chopped eyebrow around here. "I do happen to not know where the gym is, so would you mind if I followed you there? Unless those purple things in your hands decide I might be trying to ambush you."

"Fighting is discourage. I just don't like people in my space. I don't know if the others agree or not. Some god can fight. Others cant. Too dependent on their abilities. I have no problem with you following me to the gym as long as you keep your hands to yourself. Don't touch me and my knives will stay where they are." Roxy told him. Without another word she headed to the gym.

@KatherinWinter "Fair enough" he replied as he started following the girl
.
He had started to hate the purple-haired bitch -did she even bother to give him his name?- at first, but now he could sense something else behind her. Something deep, possibly dramatic. Besides, isn't this what most characters like that hide? This one seemed to be pretty hard to reveal, though. Would be a challenge to his wits; which was a good thing -he loved challenges. He would take it slowly.
For now, she seemed not too eager to talk more. He decided not to break the silence- besides the fact he also liked silence, he could see a wrong word would get ichor spilled.
"Yep. Just like old days back home" he sighed, reminiscing, as he got lost in his thoughts while keeping in following the girl towards what he assumed was the gym.

"You home must be different from mine." Roxy answered. Her home was nothing like the school which was both good and bad. Good because it was bright and filled with life and color unlike her home. Bad because she wasn't used to being around so many people. It was something that was taking some time to for her to get used to. She was used to being alone. Being surrounded by others made her unease.

John was embarrassed to see that his comment was heard, but also surprised by this girls answer. He was after something after all...
"Whether there are similarities is not really my call to make. Anyways, my home was nice generally; it was my father's presence who made my life a living hell, both for me and my mother. Picture everything you imagine a god of massacre and Bloodshed is as a father; that's him."
He sighed. But you know how things are with family. You could be born and raised by monsters in the deepest layers of Hades' Lair and still reminisce the place you called home. It's in our nature."

Roxy shook her head. She didn't miss her home. Her parents where always fighting over her like she was some toy that they both wanted to claim. She spent most of her time trying to avoid them. It was one of the reasons that her social skills were lacking. She didn't know how to interact because she trying to stay out of sight as much as possible. Despite their fighting she did love them both. "I suppose so."

@KatherinWinter"Hmmm, you don't sound so convinced." He decided to take the Longshot and hope that his pen would stay in his pocket. "I guess your daily life was a bit rougher around the edges? If you don't mind the question, of course."

"You could say that." Roxy said softly. She knew that she wasn't really saying much but she wasn't used to people so she thought she was doing very well considering her limited skills. With practice maybe she would get better. "Things could be worse but they could be better. I don't imagine I have it better or worse then anyone. I deal with my problems and expect others to do the same with theirs."

@KatherinWinter "That is a wise and dignified way of living, for everyone needs to try to solve their problems by themselves. However, it is not necessarily the best for all occasions; when one is not able to do so, one should never underestimate others' will and ability to help them through- and neither should you feel ashamed of doing so."
He was genuinely caring about the girl at this point. That was his nature; he always cared about others problems and always tried his best to help them. He also wanted to believe everyone else wanted to live like that deep inside.
Arquably, those were his two greatest weaknesses.
At this point, he had forgotten about the previous warning, and elegantly placed a hand on her shoulder while saying: "I can see your life has been troubled-both in the past and the present. I know you must likely don't trust me yet- in fact, I don't even know your name- but if you need to blow off some steam, I want to believe I'm a good enough listener."

Roxy jerked at the touch. It was innocent enough. She doubted that anyone else would have reacted but she created her shadow knives once again. She glared at him over her shoulder as she pulled away from him. "What part of I don't like to be touched do you not understand?" Was he stupid or crazy? She didn't know but if he didn't back off he was going to be hurt. "My name is Roxy."

"Better stop pushing her" John thought after losing it for a split second, then withdrew his hand- this time refusing to consider his pen."Sorry for that. Well, that's a nice name. Pretty unusual, but also charming. Nice to meet you, Roxy" He then stopped talking, which did not seem to bother her to much. "She will open up in her own time. It would not be polite of me to force more information out of her. "
John was noe deeply perplexed. This violent reaction was something he expected from his previous encounrer, but also something he could not completely understand- especially since she gave him her name afterwards, which showed she was sorry for her reaction. Unless he used the one theory he had... It was too hideous for his tastes, but he first handedly knew it was completely possible. He felt her shoulder skin completely smooth under her clothes... How much did it take to bruise a deity's body? His almost complete lack of scars told him it was extremely hard. On the other hand, he could see some bruises on her mother's body which she regenerated later, so macan non war related wounds just had the same gate and went away? Possibly for women?
He couldn't know. But the idea still wouldn't leave his mind. For some reason, this kind of abuse of a fenale -even a goddess - enraged him even more than his own. Lost in these thoughts, he did not notice his skin, and in lesser extent his eyes, turn slowly into a fade, but fiery red.

Roxy shrugged. She pretended not to care. She knew nothing about friendship. She had never had a friend. There weren't a lot of actual people in the shadow realm. Those that were there tended to avoid her out of fear of her parents. No one had ever shown her kindness or gentleness. Which made John's acquired attempt confusing to her. Hpsee allowed her knives to disappear again. "It is nice to met you. I'm sorry I snapped. I just don't like people in my space."

@KatherinWinter John snapped out of his thoughts once again -and thanked the Gods for getting his mind out of them- upon hearing Roxy's voice. See? she doesn't mean trouble deep inside. She's just a bit troubled.
"There is no need to be sorry. Being cautious with people you just met is only natural, especially if your life has been hard before. And if I judge from your ethereal knives, it has anything but easy. You don't need to worry." He then decided to ease her off by changing the subject to something else. "By the way, this power of yours is pretty impressive. Can you make other things out of nowhere? "

"I can make almost anything out of the shadows. The aren't as the good the real things but they can inflict damage if I choose to do so." Roxy told him. She wanted him to know that she coukd defend herself if need be. As long as the person didn't have an ability involving shadow. Or light. She could run but she never ran. She wasn't a coward. She would fight no matter what the odds were.

@KatherinWinter"Hmmm, so you can basically create any kind of weapon more out of thin air? That's pretty cool." He pulled his pen out of his pocket. " I do happen to have an item with a similar effect. It works mostly with weapons, bit I'm training on how to use it for other things. " He then proceeded to turn his pen into a machine gun. It was much lighter than the real thing, and it could not shoot- he did not yet know how to eject mass from the poem - but he sure could use it to startle a threat he did not want to hurt. Not that this was his purpose here; he was merely demonstrating, returning Roxy's threat without even realising she did threat him.

Harry dropped his dishes off then rushed to catch back up. He was mainly trying to catch up with Daniel because he had become friends with him. However he also didn't want to be late to class. He spotted Daniel behind a larger student. He chuckled to himself because he thought it was funny how Daniel found a larger person and essentially was using the student as a buffet against the other students. He waddled up to stand beside Daniel. After he gained some control back he said "Hey I see you found a nice way to get through the crowd. What do you think this next class is gonna be?" Harry kinda hoped it would be power based because he wanted to use his powers. He felt bad for wishing this since Daniel didn't seem to have grown into his powers yet.
